Well written, good concept, excellent execution. Easily read and the characters well represented (and 'in' character! LoL) This one-shot had a unique point of view, bringing to the readers' attention an old cultural superstition that no longer holds sway over modern thinking. Considering that modern times are quite evident thanks to Kagome's attitude, her food and her "wonders of science" that she brings with her, we often forget that her companions are from a far distant time, rich with their own beliefs and customs. InuYasha is exempt from these constraints, as his life alone without exposure to "polite society" has left him a bit on the crude side (*snicker* a bit more than "bit") and he blends well with Kagome's looser, more casual attitude. Some things that Kagome has probably told her friends, has most likely left them shocked at the very idea of how different the future is. ---- Good Job!!
