Out of the thousands of Inuyasha fanfictions out there, only a scant few bother to get the Japanese school system right. The authors usually just stick the characters in an American school and say that it's Japanese. I chalk it up to ignorance; these authors are young, and they don't know any better. It's refreshing to come across a fic where the author actually gets the Japanese school system right. So why, in the name of all that's holy, would you Americanize the school when you obviously know better? Why would the Japanese even WANT to imitate American schools when their students consistently score much higher? (For example, on 8th grade math scores, Japan ranks fifth among industrialized nations, and the US is 19th.) It makes absolutely no sense at all. If it ever did happen, parents would be pulling their kids out of that school so fast that the teachers and administrators would be unemployed within a week. The exit exams and college entrance exams are standardized nationally; who would want their child to have to compete with students at other schools, where the system has been proven to work better? Perhaps you're doing this to facilitate some strange plot device with the cliche Shuichi Fan Club, but it's coming across as far too heavy-handed and entirely unbelievable. Please, you obviously know better. You're only contributing to the ignorance of the vast amounts of fans who think that the entire world is just like the US (or wants to be just like the US.) Oh, this is quite good! please write more, I LOVE kag/kur fics. I have to say good job on not using "netspeak" Ive been running into too many authors that dont go through the trouble of writing properly and you are one of those nice authors that ot only uses full sentences, but also writes a good, interesting, story! I hope to see more soon!

that was sooooo good. the way you introduced it and the way you had them meet, it was great!!! I think you should right this story a couple more chapters or so, mabe go into some detail or something, i dunno. all i knoe is that i love this story and it's plot and you need to keep it going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
