Honestly, my favourite pairing is Cloud/Aeris and I agree that there's too few fics with that pairing. It's fine that it's AU too, usually those are the best. ;) I like how you're working with the background story and putting your own edge into it too. I hope there's more and I'll be looking forward to read it when you post it. ^^ I'll save the rating for when there's more.
