I am in awe of the premise of this story, but the execution could do with some polish. Your style skips from powerful and lyrical to a bit muddled and jarring. The whole story is so moving that even a small amount of poor phrasing is distracting.
Putting that aside, I enjoyed the way that you matured the characters at a suitable pace for the story.
I'd really like to see you produce more stories. |

I just finished reading this and I can't even put into words how it made me feel. I'm awed and shocked. I'm crying with sorrow and joy. Just...the way you portrayed Piccolo's illness and the changes it brought in everyone was very well-done. I really loved the symbolism....and the ending was GREAT! It made me think(which is scary :P). I gave this story a 10 because it's more than worth it. |

Universe, you have an incredible talent. I started reading this and I began crying almost immediately. And if there's anything I know, it's that if you can make a person weep by having them read something, then you know you've done a good job. Well done!
I hope to see more works from you in the future, and perhaps even one day see your name in the best seller's shelf of the bookstore. You definitely have a gift. Don't waste it. |
