I really enjoyed Sess' interaction with the 'earth', that was nicely done. And the fight is starting out great. InuYasha deliberately planning on using his demon-blood as a back-up plan if the fight goes bad is risky on his part but not too farfetched for him to try, much as he hates losing control like that. If he was desperate enough...hmm. -- I have an observation I'd like to make. You keep refering to "TaiYoukai" almost as if it were it's own spiecies. TaiYoukai means 'greater demon' and implies the higher power level of a youkai. One 'isn't' TaiYoukai but one can 'become' TaiYoukai. As powerful as Sesshoumaru is and considering many refer to him as TaiYoukai, he is still leagues behind his and InuYasha's father in power. Inu-Papa *shrug & grin* was an Inu-youkai (dog demon) but he was a 'greater' dog-demon. There, I believe is the difference. Any species of youkai can attain TaiYoukai given enough experience and power growth. Just wanted to clarify. -- Well, on to the next chaper.

Ah, poor Kiniromaru. InuYasha is right, she needs to be 'put down' for her own sake. And while the Saimiyoushou are poisonous, they have never been particularly aggressive. I'm interested how you'll handle that.

Whoa, I wonder what happened to Kiniromaru. She already had a shard (I do believe it was just one) but now she has two, both of them very tainted, and she is accompanied by Naraku's Saimiyoushou. Very curious indeed.

Good story... but in chapter you kind-of lost me when you said Inuyasha returned from the forest. With no break there it sounded like he still was in the camp... Just keep updating!

Oh no!! Not little Rin! She's had such a hard life and now... They'll be lucky if Sesshoumaru doesn't level the forest. You never know how he is going to react to things. -- Boksenou's words make a lot of sense; a twisted kind of sense. Testing his brother to see if he's worthy of killing. -- Great Chapter.

I am really enjoying how all the characters are interacting. The more persons in a scene, the harder it is to juggle. That is when 'less is more' and you did very well. Kiniromaru needs social skills as bad as InuYasha does. *snicker* I wonder if they will meet up with her again. I also wonder what Boksuenou has to tell them. -- Great chapter.

I'm enjoying this story quite a lot. I love it when the Inu-tachi are in character and as close to cannon as any fanfiction can be. LoL -- Sesshoumaru's actions have always been curious. If he had wanted InuYasha dead...then he would be dead. I wonder if Takahashi-san will ever reveal his secret adgenda? You're not the only one to speculate on this subject. -- I also have enjoyed that your Miroku is showing off his intelligence. Most fanfic authors portray him as a pervert and nothing else. He is very insightful, quite wise and genuinely caring as well as brave. So he has a few vices...don't we all? *snicker* That's why he has been referred to as the "colorful" Monk. --- InuYasha taking advantage of Kagome's caresses while he's supposed to be asleep is very in character in my opinion. He can be sneaky, and if he can get away with something without admitting anything, all the better! InuYasha is not a stupid brute...he just lacks the finer qualities of someone raised in polite society. Living on his own since he was "little" (his own words from the manga no less) would make anyone rough around the edges. It's amazing, really, that he isn't as hard-hearted as his brother acts and can actually recognize love when he sees it. After being shunned all his life by Youkai and Humans alike, his heart must bear some deep scars. His tough act is just that; an act. He is one of the most sentimental characters it has been my pleasure to come across in a long time. Great job!

Yeah its a nice story. That's I see the whole Inu/Sess relationship as well. It just training and I think sometimes Sess does love Inu. He just can't admit it. I wish you could go on with this story but its okay if you don't.
