This is a very well-written piece. The whole "flight of thought" concept they you adapted to Shigure really makes sense. I've always pictured him as that sort of person. Though I'm that sort of person too... And while I haven't read the entire series (or seen the entire show) I think that this obviously won't happen BUT you do write it so creatively and persuasively that it seems possible. I think you've hit Shigure's character on the nail (in my opinion of course) He's not the happy little pervert everyone makes him out to be but definitely a more dark person. I'm assuming the author you were speaking of is Hunter S. Thompson? If this is correct then I'm happy (should I say that?) To find someone who thought to remember him. He was an amazing writer and from what I've read you're definitely on your way to becoming one. The only thing I really caught was a few spelling and grammar mistakes and while I would gladly offer some helpful tips I'm still working out my own writing skills and am completely floored by this little one-shot. I liked your nice big words too, that's what really clued me in on who the narrator was in the beginning because who else but an author would be taking full use of their vocabulary? Anyways, I'm really glad to have read this. And again, I really enjoyed the "flight of thought" you based this around as I tend to think like that also. Or write for that matter. And since I'm running out of characters to use I'll just leave saying I hope to see more.

awesome... i wish i knew more about this flight of thought thing, though... i hope it doesn't indicate a mental illness since i seem to experience it quite often :) i loved the part when u describe how he looks at his quilt's patterns; i've stared for hours in mine... well, enough about me, before u really think i'm a looney :))) it is one of the nicest one shots i've ever read... and i just know it's shigure's "bad" luck in life not to die this time :) and he thinks as a teenager himself, plz, i mean, man, get a grip!, if he thinks that's being grown-up, ohh myy! once again, this was a great fic! :))) *hug* keep on writing! :)
