that's beautiful. you're right, i haven't seen much on houshi-papa, and certainly not from this perspective, so points on that. Great pull all together, good interpretation of the characters, and i like the peace in the end. oh yes, and great LOTR reference too XD

That was simply wonderful and very touching. I can easily see the worried frown of a father, wondering what the world will have in store for his tiny son. The whole dynamic of his friend going so far as to bear him a child to give him hope...only to die in the process and deprive him of, what seemed to be, a very caring person. While living under a curse, having friends is bittersweet. I loved it. *applause*

What a truly beautiful and moving story! I can't tell you just how much I loved it! Original subject matter! Excellent characterizations! Fabulous writing! Good job!
