I must admit...I did not like the ending. I don't believe Kenshin would do that. He's stopped others from doing the same thing because living is a better way to repent. I can't see him changing that particular value of his. A very good story but slightly out of character. It wasn't boring but I did not really enjoy it. I felt like I wasn't reading a Kenshin story. *bows* Gomen. It just isn't my cup of tea. |

I'm assuming it's before the Kyoto arc, cos no one knew Hiko, and they didn't know Tomoe's story. I really really loved it; and found very few things to poke it (I'm not being picky, I swear!) about...
1. You changed the romanization at different parts; sometimes you would write in the 'u' (dou, sou) and sometimes you would leave it out (Saito). Nothing major, but using just one style would have made it flow a bit more smoothly.
2. The sword fight was done splendidly; but the Do Ryuu Sen is an attack used to send gravel and dirt flying at an opponent. How this would meet Gatotsu, I'm not sure. ^^;;
The impromptu Seppuku was done quite well. ^_^ As much as I hated seeing Kenshin die...having Hiko offer to be kaishaku was a nice touch.
I hope to read more from you... (and I hope you don't hate me!)
Ja ne!
