I like this, its interesting. Politics is indeed an extremely touchy subject, and this is the first time that I've seen someone drag it into the world of fanfiction. Just becareful you don't attract some Ryou fan-girls that are overly dedicated to Bush.Might get some problems there. But your story is good. Keep it going.

I completely support Ryou! I always knew he was the smartest ones of the group. And also...if you were planning on making Bakura a Republican as you kind of hinted in the first chapter....I would have to object. Bakura, if anything, would be Independent. What cares he for the politics of mortals. Salut!

Good fiction so far, well written. However i would be careful, you're grazing a really touchy issue and politics can get kinda nasty if you don't watch it. Your fiction is good and i wish you luck but don't turn the fiction into a personal statement, keep it within the fandom and out of the office other than that i hope to see more, update soon!
