I'm younger. and not embarrassed about this kind of stuff, and I'm considered pretty modest. Sesshy overhearing that conversation, and possibly being matchmaker...what a great idea. I also love the detail you put into your writing. Not just. Sango said this. Kagome said this, Kagome went to the village, etc. I guess the best way to describe it is that that kind of writing is dry, but yours is really hydrated. And you don't have grammar/spelling issues. Its so tough to read a story that has spelling problems, or grammar issues. Wow, this is such a long review. I'm being quiet now. Update soon.

Reviewed By: Neko Youkai On: April 24, 2005 18:45 EDT Comment/Review: I just found the story today and I can't tell you how much I like it. I read a lot of Inuyasha stories and I hardly ever review or feel this strongly about one, but this one has really impressed me. I think you are creating a wake-up call for Inuyasha here, and making him understand that he can't take Kagome for granted. He needs to tell her how he feels and they both need to put aside their fears and communicate with each other. Wow! I can't wait for the next update! Bring on Sesshy!

Reviewed By: Jensempai101 [MediaMiner Member] On: April 21, 2005 19:20 EDT Comment/Review: The way the this story starts out is so absolutely endearing. I'm so pleased that I came across this fic and decided to read it. The way you have such a skill to use words and the way you put them together is just lovely. The length of the chapters are also something I am grateful to you for, as many authors don't update to the length you have set. About the story, I think it has such a meaningful insight to the anime. I do agree that it was an interesting theory about Kikyo and pinning Inuyasha to the tree. I wonder how you came up with that. I love how you made them older in this fic and you DID portray them as more mature. This story has got me anticipating the the next update. It's also the perfect example of what I look for in a fic and more. This fic has also been added to favorites most definitely. Well, waiting here patiently for the next chapter. :-)

Reviewed By: Akihana [MediaMiner Member] On: April 20, 2005 01:55 EDT Comment/Review: This is pretty cool. You have pretty amazing talent as a writer. I love the story line. I don't think they'll be able to stay mad at each other for that long. I alos love how everyone can see the obvious love they feel mutually, except for the two of them. I hate it when that happens. I will definitely be following this story. Good luck with it.

The plot and the feelings which have been portrayed so far by the characters are believable and powerful. There are many directions which you could take this story and I wonder what you'll do. Any ways please continue soon. Oh Heh it would great to have Inyuasha and kagome get together in the end and have each other's first time be together. So maybe just make Inyuasha sweat a little huh.

Reviewed By: scherezade [MediaMiner Member] On: April 18, 2005 19:40 EDT Comment/Review: Absolutely beautiful beginning! I'm so glad I stumbled across this chapter on my study break. I was going to be selfish and not review, but the more responsible "author-who-loves-to-read-reviews" side of me kicked in and wouldn't stop screaming until I wrote something. You've given Kagome such mature and realistic reasoning for her thoughts on intimacy...her relationship with Inuyasha and with the group. There can be so many motivations for physically being with someone...it's not always about the hormonal lust...it's not always because you need to prove something to someone (or to yourself). I've always been fascinated by the issues that Kagome must face as she grows up as she tries to reconcile her personal needs with the needs of Inu and the gang; her life in the modern era and Feudal Japan. The fireside chat between her and Sango seemed very down to earth and plausible - a definite girly sharing moment that is so common amongst friends. I think that you've made the characters wonderfully believable and they seem true to how they appear in the manga. In particular, you expressed Kagome's thoughts about Kikyo...and the love triangle she plays a role in with such eloquence and delicacy. The scenario you've set up...is so full of potential. I'm dying because Inuyasha didn't hear any of Kagome's heartfelt feelings about HIM...only that she wants to take on a lover. What will he do now?

Title: Wow Reviewed By: QTpie [MediaMiner Member] On: April 18, 2005 18:40 EDT Rating(s):Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: The summary for this story does not do it justice in the least. I'm glad I decided to take a deeper read into this story because I was remarkably surprised with what I found. Your portrayal of Kagome was thorough and a bit more realistic than she appears in the manga, yet this is what made her thoughts and dcicions so believable. I absolutely love the girl talk between Kagome and Sango. Far too often other authors will have these two characters interact in a similar fashion but their conversations have no real depth to it like it does here. Bravo!! Oh, I can't just wait to read how Inu Yasha will react to what he overheard. The possibilities are simply endless as to what will happen next. Please update ASAP. Great job, I truly look forward to reading from you soon. Ja!!!

I must say for a first story this is wonderful. The points you made on Kikyo were wonderfully constructed as well. I may not exactly *like* Kikyo, but I hate the way people bash her that's it just becomes ridiculous. Yours was very thoughtfully planned out and very much appreciated. Also, great job on keeping all the characters in the story and in character. (Well, more mature characters, but I get they are older.) I know lots of people have a hard time remembering a viable excuse for Shippo and Kilala. Just out of curiosity how long do you think it will take for you to update again? I don't mean to push, just wanted to get a feel when I'd be seeing a chapter again. Thanks for the wonderful story! I can't wait to read more again!
