thanks lady macbeth, ive read some of your gear too and yeah i know that i have heaps of spelling errors and well there was going to be some drama in it but i kind of changed that well at least somebody loved it, i appreciate it very much

OMK that was one of the funniest things I've read in a while. ^_^;; I can't say it has a lot for drama content (next to nil, actually -_-) but the fic was a riot from the title until the end. The one-line comments at the beginning and the end of each chapter that had me simultaneously laughing, snickering and groaning were a nice touch for the comedy aspect of it. O_o;
The writing structure itself was average, raised to above average for the comedy aspect (not everyone can write comedy, I'm a good example -_-; ) It flowed quickly and was actually a very fast-paced and hilarious adaptation of Charles Dickens's "A Christmas Carol". I don't know that I've seen one this short/fast-paced since "Mickey's Christmas Carol". O_o;;
There were spelling and grammar errors scattered throughout that I tripped on, but they were quickly forgotten when I'd start laughing again. -_-;
I had to give this one a "10" for creativity alone. A lot of people can see Vegeta as Scrooge, but the wacky trio of ghosts and the miserable failure/not-so-failure of their antics was unexpected and a riot. It keeps very close to the humor that Toriyama-san is so fond of in his work.
I enjoyed this immensely. Though the general structure of the fic was a bit annoying at times, I laughed most of the way through, and by the time it was done my only thought was "Oh my Kami-sama that was a riot!"
Overall, this was an above average fic. It has its problems, but it's highly entertaining at the same time. It lost a point for being categorized as partially drama when really there wasn't much (any?) drama involved, but it's still very solidly in the "7" range. |
