I haven't seen much of Ai in the series, but it's interesting to see her being something other than pretty emotionless and cynical, or totally losing it with fear. I especially liked the second chapter with Ran - it makes a change to see a fic where Ai isn't just jealous of Ran because she has feelings for Conan but he clearly only loves Ran. That just seems a bit to simple and, hmmm...juvinile maybe, for such a character, from what little I know of her. Especially if that's the *only* reason for Ai's attitude towards Ran. I've read one other fic that dealt with the subject in a similar manner, but this came across as the better one. Thank-you for a good read.

Ahh! you made me cry! anyway, that was a great fic! i wish it would be made into an official miniseries about Ai.. that'd be awesome. it was that kind of happy-sad...
