Ooh, the suspense builds! *cue sinister piano music* This is a most successful attempt at shojo-ai, so if anyone says otherwise, direct them towards me. *evil grin* I enjoy the way you emphasize certain aspects of Isis, such as her memories. The repetition serves as a view into just how much she hates her father/loves and misses both her mother and brother. The execution is wonderful as are the conventions. I am really enjoying this fic. It's the first decent shojo-ai I've read in a really long time. It's quite an original idea and quite an interesting take on Kisara. The descriptions are amazing, making me feel like I'm almost looking out of Isis's eyes at the ancient Egyptian sands.
