This was not a bad fic at all. There were some grammatical errors that, if fixed, would make the fic much more enjoyable. I have to agree with you that after spending so much time together the characters change. Even in the manga Yuki starts to change and you can tell more often that he loves and cares for Shuichi. I think you portrayed that very well here. Continue writing. Practice makes perfect. :D
