Beautifully done! You were true not only to the characters and the mood of the show, but to their voices. I truly thought I could hear Gojyo and Hakkai speaking just as you wrote it.

This is a nice prologue, you've managed to catch Gojyo's underlying angst naturally and Hakkai's calculated caring nicely. The voices are very IC as well. I'm totally keeping an eye out for where you take this!

wow your writing style is excellent- smooth transitions, great imagery, and good grammar XD (but I have one suggestion- (I think this has to do with the way you uploaded it)..break it into paragraphs because it's a little hard to read.) I'm curious to see how this one goes =D I haven't really found any fics that have to do with the Gojyo-mother-Requiem incedent..and you're off to a great start! Please post more ^^
