First, let me thank you for another wonderful chapter. Second, I have to say that I absolutely adore the Kagome/Sesshoumaru interaction. It's so sweet. However, when you established Kagome's family background, it all felt so trite. It felt kind of forced, like how some authors go into detail about what the characters are wearing, even when it's not something they would normally wear (I call this OOCC: Out of Character Clothing). It also reminds me of times in fics where Kagome has been made some uber-powerful combination of miko and youkai. Like you're laying out unrealistic facts. I'm just not feeling it. Maybe, if you go over the fic again sometime, you could re-write it, and gradually introduce Kagome's social status over thte first three chapters. I also think It would have been better if you had given Kagome and Sesshoumaru more time together to develop their personal feelings for one another. Then Naraku could find out about Sesshoumaru through normal means (rumors, surveillance, spies) about Kagome wanting to free him. I like the Kagome/Sesshoumaru interaction, but the rest of it seems a bit forced. ... ... ... Hope I've been of help, Kin
