Her parents both being in poverty and in the drug dealing buisness, never had time for Madeira. So she learned how to live street wise. She has a great passion for writing, but never persued her dream because she was in a deep depression. Her parents were caught up in a gang war. Both died and she had to take care of her two little brothers. When she went home one day she found one of them had been hanged. The other was hiding in the closet safe though. She works a part-time job as a waitress in a rundown restaurant. Her little brother is now living with an old aunt. While in depression, she began to get into a bad habit of letting alcohol be the one to comfort her. This story tells about how she continues living her life, a life full of struggles.
