I don't want to say too much, as part of the fic is trying to understand what's going on. I'll just say that I'm a little nervous about the rating, as this has...allusions to some dark stuff. Still, I don't think it's anything you have to be 17 to handle.
If you don't understand the ending...groan...just tell me & I'll put in endnotes. I've tried to make it apparent without being blatent, but sometimes that doesn't work.
