Somehow, I'me favourited this but not written a review. I apologize for that, that was rude of me. I know for certain I put it in favourites because I found it so extremely beautiful. Your story shows that nothing really has been setteled 'twix Inuyasha-Kagome-Kikyo, with Kikyo believeing Inuyasha is dead and therefore is content and all. That makes Inuyashas determination even more beautiful...and painful. If he is to live in a world without Kagome, it shall be in her room were he can smell Kagome...making him unable to eat. Unwilling to eat, even. That is love. That is one incredible love, and you have described it without all the fancy, big words. For that I thank you.

omg! wonderful concept! i love the idea of inuyasha refusing to move from kagome's bed after her death. brilliant! that would make like the best creative writing prompt... "describe a person's room" ...hmm you make me want to write my own "room" fic. haha. seriously though, wonderful job.

Very nice. At first I was wondering why Kag wouldn't have wanted Inu to stay and take care of Shippo, but that's explained pretty well. I have a tweak or two with her being okay with his decision, but I guess all of us writing stories the same way would get pretty boring... |

oh wow oh wow oh wow!! This is one of those really great stories. How you start off with 'scent' and then progress, making absolutely no errors at all! (at least that I was concerned with or notice) Wonderful! Wish there were more like it!
