A/N: Pairings; S+(I am evil... you must read to find out!). One-sided, Sano loves her, she doesn't love him. Rating for angst (noticing a pattern in my stories?), lost love, and a lot of sadness. Second chapter may be added; years later, Sano talks to Kenshin about the events of that summer night. (He'll be tearing himself up-- this is an angst fic, after all.)
