Eight months have passed since the end of the Eve Wars, and Heero and Duo have made a life together on L-4, along with Quatre and Trowa. The only thing missing is their Chinese comrade, one Chang Wu Fei. When ex-Pilot 05 shows up drunk at Duo and Heero's and passes out at their feet, many questions arise as to where he's been since the Wars, and why he returned. Unresolved feelings are brought to light, left from the end of 'Black and White' and the happiness of three ex-Pilots is put on the line, as they realize that the world isn't always Black and White, but more in Shades of Gray.
