The January sun illuminated the Takahashi-Higurashi residence. The living room was warm and homely, with toys abandoned on the cream colored couch and in front of the 48 inch flat screen television. The walls were covered with pictures of the family taken over three generation, the largest picture being the one taken at the last family reunion.
