In too much shock to say anything, Kagome heard it as Yasha move swiftly across the room, opening and closing the door, and then the feel of him began to fade away as he exited the restaurant, until she was left with the undefined white noise of the emotions of the various diners in the other room, plus, presumably, Sango and Miroku.

Can't wait for the confrontation! Now that Kagome has that power back, it's a matter of time before she has her reiki, right? Aaaannddd, just because this is fantasy... her eyesight?
Oh, and the lifespan issue was mentioned. I hope that to mean that that was foreshadowing for possibly increasing her lifespan to his? Maybe it's something that even reiki users don't know about? Or maybe it's just so rare... Or even not known at all and her and Inu just have a miracle? Either way, I hope it's something!
