Her name is Izayoi now. I'm assuming the artist gave her a name for the time being. No biggie. I am assuming also that when Sesshomaru's mother will be given a name by the fans until her name is revealed also. Great pic found of her by the way, just do a search (pics), Sess takes after his mom.

I realize that Inuyasha's mother's name was Iyazoi in the third movie. If you look at the date for this image, it was uploaded in 2002, at least a full year before the third movie even came out in Japan. At the time, there was very little known about his parents. In 2001, I wrote a story called "Under the Dog Star," which featured his parents. "Youkai Jidai" was the sequel to that story, but it never really got off the ground and when the third movie came out I just gave up. Besides . . . the third movie is only anime canon, not manga canon ^^

Lovely intermpretation of Inu's Mother. Only thing I really need to correct is her name. You've got nice work. I do believe that the name given to her in the third movie was Izayoi.
