been a long while since I've been back here. Long enough that I thought my account had expired. Enough of that though... On with the pic. The character depicted is the lead in a book I'm currently working on. The pic itself is relatively simple and to the point, never really even having a planned background. Though still a landmark for me in its own right, this was my first time using shadows and highlights to represent subtle changes in contour, such as muscle tone and curvatures instead of actual lines. A skill I plan to continue honing from now on. She shows off more than a bit of skin in this, though I deemed it tasteful enough for the public forum. If anyone disagrees however, please say so and I'll gladly move it to the adult section. The focal point after all is not her clothing, or lack of, but the scarring that maps her well built form. A testament to the many hardships faced as a budding warrioress (is that even a word?). |
