Chapter 2:

Misaki walked towards the Eriol Dome, Hikaru was in her pocket. She had been thinking all day about the 'fight' that she saw yesterday between Snow White Angel and that new French girl's Angelic Layer, Lime.

Even after the explanation that Mihara gave her, she still couldn't believe what she saw. She reached the dome and entered.

"Hi Misaki."

Misaki blushed when she heard that voice, "H … Hello Kotarou."

Misaki always had a crush on Kotarou, even tough he never noticed, he wasn't a Deus, but her 5 year old sister, Hatoko, was.

And a very good one too, her Angelic Layer, Suzuka, was one of the best. Not only because she was fast, but also because of the high telepathic abilities of Hatoko to control her.

"Why are you here?" Misaki asked.

"Well, I'm here to watch my sister, she heard this rumor about this new French Deus girl that defeated Snow White Angel, and she wanted to challenge her."

"What!?" Misaki was worried, "we have to stop this fight, she doesn't know what she is doing!"

"So it's true. That French girl DID defeat Snow White Angel." Said Kotarou.

"Yes, but she has a very … unorthodox … fighting style. Your sister is in trouble."

Too late, at the dome, the two Deus were sitting on their respective chairs and placed the goggles on their heads.

As usual Hatoko was being cheered by her fan-club members, that watched all of her fights.

As the two Angelic Layers were tossed inside the Eriol Dome, the board above them lit up, showing the name and picture of Suzuka and Lime.

Iris was smiling mischievously like she did yesterday, "This is the first time that I fight a five year old, I wonder what my battle style will do to you."

Hatoko never stopped her innocent smile, "Are you ready to begin?" She asked Iris.

"Yes." Answered Iris, and the two Angelic Layers ran towards each other.

Misaki and Kotarou looked at the dome, as the two Angelic Layers ran towards the other.

"That Lime doesn't look so tough, are you sure she defeated Snow White Angel?" Asked Kotarou.

"Yes … but is too late now … we can't stop the fight. Let's just hope that your sister wins."

The two Angelic Layers met in the middle of the dome, and stopped a few feet away from each other.

Suddenly Suzuki's kunoichi like clothes slit in two and fell down, leaving Hatoko's Angelic Layer wearing only her boots and gloves.

Everybody was surprised at this, even Hatoko, and of course, her fan club.

"My, my, my … your Angelic Layer is even more pretty than Snow White Angel." Said Iris in a naughty voice.

"Don't think that just because you have unclothed Suzuka you have won." Said Hatoko, even tough she was impressed at what Lime did. That Angelic Layer dodged her attack and made a high cut in Suzuka's clothes with just her hand.

"At the contrary," said Iris, "soon you'll be begging for me to let you surrender."

"No!" Misaki screamed from the side from were she was watching the fight. "She's just five years old! She's innocent … don't do that to her!"

If Iris heard Misaki's screams, she didn't care.

Instead she made Lime run towards Suzuka, and just as Suzuka was turning around to cover herself from any attack, Lime leaped forwards.

"What is she doing?" Asked Kotarou.

"You don't want to know." Said Misaki, looking at Hatoko, who seemed to try to make Suzuka break free of Lime's grip, but to no avail.

Kotarou turned back to see her sister. "Hatoko … give up … is not worth it."

Hatoko looked at Kotarou, tears falling down her eyes and trough her cheeks, she was flushing so much that her cheeks were bright red.

Slowly she nodded, "I … give up … just make this go away. Please."

Kotarou nodded, and turned to see Iris. "She gives up!"

"Good, I win then." Iris smiled.

And so, the Eriol dome went off, the two Angelic Layers lying limp on the dome's floor.

Slowly Hatoko felt how the burning feeling subsided, and was able to sit up again.

"Hatoko … are you alright?" Asked a concerned Kotarou, while Hatoko's fan club was booing Iris, who didn't even care as she picked up Lime and walked away and out. Without a word except, "I'll be back tomorrow."

Hatoko slowly turned her head to see her brother, new tears were forming in her eyes.

And then she hugged Kotarou for all he was worth, crying on his shoulder. "Brother! Sob … that was awful …"

Kotarour returned the hug. He was angry, angry at what that Deus Iris and her Angelic Layer Lime did to her sister. He was going to make her regret doing what she did to Hatoko. He didn't know why, but he was just going to.

A few feet away, Misaki watched how Kotarou hugged a crying Hatoko. That Iris was beyond being cruel … Hatoko was just 5 years old, and she just made her feel something that she wasn't even ready for.

She was going to defeat Iris, she had and she would … she just had to find out how.
