Beyblade Fan Fiction ❯ Dreams come true ❯ chapter two ( Chapter 2 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Here is the next chapter.
“Rei!” screeched Olga, “What took so long?”
Rei bowed his head and said, “Sorry stepmother. I was stopped by a man.”
Olga snorted.
“By what man?” she asked, “Did you try to steal something?”
“I don't know who it was,” Rei lied smoothly, “But he just wanted to help me carry your stuff.”
Olga sneered.
“Who would want to help you?”
Rei shrugged and then Olga motioned for him to follow her.
Who was that boy? Kai wondered as he walked around the Village Square, Who is Rei Kon? Why was he dressed like a servant?
Kai was working over time to keep his emotionless mask on. It was very hard, that boy messed him up.
All Kai knew was that he had to see him again.
I don't understand, Rei thought as he sat down by the fire, Why haven't I tried to leave? Why do I put up with this Hell?
He knew the answer, he knew it all too well. He would stay because his father told him too. He wouldn't disobey his father's last wishes. Rei would be a good son.
“Rei?”
Rei turned and saw Bryan looking at him.
“Yes?”
“Can you help me chop wood for Mother?”
“Yes Bryan.”
“But he seemed like a servant Tala,” Kai said to his best friend and loyal knight, “He seemed scared to talk to me too.”
Tala smiled easily.
“Kai,” he said, “you're the prince, everyone would be scared to talk to you.”
Kai snorted.
“They think that I'm going to be head them or something,” he muttered bitterly, “I have no friends.”
Tala poured Kai a drink and shook his head.
“What am I?”
Kai blushed slightly as he took the drink.
“My best friend,” he whispered sadly, “my only friend.”
Kai bowed his head and a tear came out of his eye.
“I'm sorry,” Kai said softly, “I didn't mean to make you mad.”
“You didn't,” Tala said with a small smile, “You couldn't. But I need to get you another friend.”
Kai looked into Tala's blue eyes.
“You need a life,” he snickered.
Tala moved his hand through his cherry-red hair and smiled.
“I know.”
So here is my author note: Thanks to my reviewers for reviewing. To answer a question, no Rei will not be able to bear children but I won't tell you if the King and Queen will be okay with no heir. That would spoil the story. But in chapter three, you will see something that you will not expect. And it is not good either.
I have yet to decide to update either today or next week. All depends if I get a review today or not. I love reviews so please make me happy! I like being happy too.
On my story Cliché I need some help. I have the last chapter written but I need someone to edit it and tell me if I should leave a few of the parts and need them to approve the parts. I want to keep it at a teen level but I have a part in it that will probably bring the rating to a mature rating. So will someone help me?

Keep the love,
Endoh Chiaki
