-Part one-
Kai sighed happily and pulled her closer. She snuggled into his bare chest,pressing her body as close to his as possible for warmth and comfort. Kai let his fingers dance along her spine, he loved those beautiful curves. His hand settled on her hip,drawing small invisible circles on her white skin.
"Love you...»she murmured and yawned before she closed her eyes. Seconds later she drifted off to dream land, her breath going more steady and rythmic now. He buried his head in her soft hair, all tangled from their shared passion in the night. He inhaled the scent of her, partly the sweet scent of roses, partly the rough scent of sweat from sex. He loved it when she smelled like that,it made him feel so privileged, so utterly lightheaded.
This girl was his,only his.If anyone else dared touch her...
Kai tried to stifle a yawn but failed badly and gave in. He was rather sleepy now. A small smirk came to his pretty features. After all, they had been going a while tonight. He chuckled slightly and yawned once more before he closed his eyes and fell asleep, his chest rising and falling slowly.
Destiney and Kai had been together for almost three years now. They had even moved in together in the middle of town, an hour and a half away from home. When she had told her mother that she was moving in with her boyfriend Mrs.Raiden had merely smiled and congratulated her. Of course she had also bought their apartment as a gift. Destiney had been thrilled when she saw their new place. It was exactly what she had been dreaming of.
Kai had said nothing, just enjoyed her happiness. As long as she was happy,he could be satisfied as well.
He always tried his best to keep her happy- for several reasons. He hated to see her angry or depressed, that broke his heart. But he would also be sleeping on the couch when she was in a bad mood. He hated sleeping on the couch, it was so cold. Not that their apartment was especially cold, but he felt so utterly lonely when she was not there to keep him warm during the night.
He always felt relief when she decided to take him back in, though he didn`t show it to her. He still had his pride to maintain. There was no way he would go all mushy and loved-dovey. He remembered how Destiney had tried to make him hold her hand in public at the start of their relationship. He had simply refused, not wanting to show such affection for her in front of a lot of strangers.He preferred to show off his affection when they were on their own. She had been mad at him first, refusing to sleep with him for over three months. He didn`t give in, even if his need for her was making him desperate and she figured it was better to leave it. After all, she did understand his antipathy.
The morning broke, the sun shining through their window. Kai slowly opened his eyes and muttered a curse under his breath. Why did that damn light always have to wake him up this early? He yawned and cast a glance at alarm clock at his bed table. It was only 07.00 PM yet. Another curse escaped his lips and he sat up,careful not to wake her. She was such a heavy sleeper, he really doubted she would wake even if he yelled at her. He smiled slightly,watching her sleep. She was only half covered by their bedcovers, her naked skin glowing in the light of the newly arisen sun.
He traced a finger along her stomach, further on to her hips. He loved every inch of her with all of his heart. She was his heart and soul, his light. He didn`t know what he would do if that light was taken away from him one day.
Kai got up and put on his robe before running a hand through his hair and leaving their bedroom.He decided to make her breakfast, he always did after they slept together.
Destiney woke up to the nice smell of new made food. She yawned and put her pyjamas back on before she walked into the kitchen and finding her boyfriend cooking her breakfast. She smiled brightly at the sight of him, only wearing his purple robe with pink ribbons, the one she had bought him for fun. He had not noticed her, he was humming softly to himself while staring out the window. She sneaked up on him and slid her arms around his waist. He was startled but turned around to face her. Placing a swift kiss on her lips he concentrated on the food again.
"You slept well?" she whispered, still hugging him from behind. He nodded and put their food on plates. She helped him, neither of them saying a word.
Ready to eat,they both sat down.
"Why do you do this every time?" she suddenly asked. He smirked and gave a shrug.
"I don`t know. I guess I feel that you deserve something for being my little toy".
She raised an eyebrow at his choice of words.
"Toy, my dear? Am I nothing more to you?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. He grinned slightly.
"You are MY toy".She smiled at him and got up from her chair,only to position herself in his lap.
"Do you value this toy then?" she asked. He leaned his forehead on hers. His love and affection was showing in his eyes.
"Do I really need to answer that?" he whispered. She shook her head and kissed him.It was the same everytime they kissed.To them it was always a need for closeness that had to be satisfied.
He slid his tongue into her mouth, swapping saliva around at the same time. Their tongues wrestled for a moment and finally she gave in and let him take control of the kiss. It deepened and his hands started to roam her sides, not quite sure where to settle on that beautiful body of hers. She straddled his hips and broke the contact by pulling back. He started to caress her collarbone with his butterfly kisses, his mouth exploring every inch of skin he could reach. He worked his way up her neck, stopping at her earlobe. He smirked when he heard her moan softly as he grazed her ear with his tongue.
Then suddenly she tilted her head back and stared directly into his eyes.
"Don`t tell me you are still up for it?"
She arched an eyebrow when he grinned and kissed her again.
"I am always up for it with you, love".
The phone rang, interrupting their little session. Kai frowned when she got of his lap and went to pick it up. He grabbed her gently by the arm and pulled her back onto his lap.
"Leave it, I want you",he demanded. She rolled her eyes at him.
"I have to answer it. I know it is my brother", she insisted and he let go off her. He so badly wanted to take her right now, here in the kitchen.She picked up the phone.
"Hello? Destiney speaking".
A smile came to her face,and he understood that she had been right about her brother calling. It was almost as if she could sense when it was him calling. He shook his head.She and Nate were very close,they had always been,from time to time sharing the same dreams and feelings.He did kind of envy their close bond.Even though he was close to his own twin sister,their relationship had never been like that.He had never really showed her any affection in front of other people,but she of course knew that he cared deeply for her.
Kai didn`t really feel the need to pay any attention to the conversation between them and instead went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Destiney almost glomped him when he came back into the living room. She threw her arms around him in a tight hug. He hugged her back.Destiney was actually very short. She couldn`t even reach up to kiss him if she tip toed. She pulled him closer, bringing his face down to hers. Her eyes were shining with joy.
"Your sister went to the hospital an hour ago. Nate just called to tell that everything seems to be going fine.Malisia has gone into labour!"
She laughed happily and kissed him.He smiled at these news. Malisia, his sister, had been together with Nate for even longer than Destiney and Kai had been a couple and when she had found that she was pregnant they had decided to keep the child.
Destiney had of course been thrilled at the news,looking incredibly forward to becoming an aunt. Malisia was also one of her best friends and they had always been there for each other the last four years.
Sometimes,when Destiney and Kai were lying in their bed, just cuddling or enjoying the other one`s company she had mentioned every now and then how great it would be when the baby was born. And Kai swore-she had stared at him with a look full og longing and begging. He had decided to overlook it, there was no way he wanted a child now! Destiney always seemed to get a little hurt when he ignored her silent begging, a sad look coming to her face as she turned her head away. He still thought they were too young to have their own children.They were barely grownups themselves, or at least that was the way he saw things. Besides-it scared him to think of that kind of things. He loved Destiney and all,but it freaked him out to think of them as parents.
Maybe one day, but not now.
He lifted her off the ground. She took the hint and wrapped her legs around his hips. He carried her off to their bedroom and did not eve bother to shut the door behind him before he put her down on the bed, tearing at her clothing while kissing her roughly. She pulled away and looked at the door. He rolled his eyes and shut it, resuming to undressing her again. She grinned and turned on the bedside lamp. For some reason Destiney hated to have sex in the dark. He better preferred that,but as long as she was willing, it didn`t really make such a big deal to him anyways. She moaned as he discarded her last piece of clothing, making his way inside of her as gently as possible. He knew she hated it when he was rough. He remembered that from their first night together a long time ago. He continued to kiss her as they moved in a slow rhythm,his hands roaming her skin freely. She shivered slightly when he sucked at her earlobe. She had such sensitive ears-this girl of his.
As they came closer to a climax, their rhythm fastened and he let out a growl. He pushed her over the edge, waves of pleasure shooting through her body let out a muffled cry. He came right after her, collapsing on top of her while panting hard. He didn`t move away, just lay still listening to her erratic breathing. She muttered his name and ran her fingers through his hair. Her forehead was partly covered by sweat drops.
He rolled off her, still breathing heavily. Making love to Destiney was always such an odd but wonderful experience and his mind seemed to leave his body, only leaving him to feel the passion between them even better.
She sighed happily and lay down on top of his chest, her arms around his neck. She kissed his bare chest and rested her head against him. He put his arms around her to hold her in place."God, what would I do without you?"she whispered, running her fingers along his muscular arms.
He smiled at her words. They were truly dependent on each other, neither of them even able to imagine a world without the other.
"You were my first and you are still my only",she said before drifting off to sleep again. She was such a sleepyhead. Destiney would alway fall asleep after sleeping with him. But he didn`t mind at all.
When Destiney finally woke up again she found that Kai already had left the bed. She put on a robe and went to the bathroom to have a shower. Kai was nowhere to be found in the appartment. He was probably just to the store to buy some dinner.It was already way past noon. She grinned to herself.
Luckily it was Saturday today, meaning no school, no work. Just relaxing and having fun.
After showering she found herself a can of soda and sat down to watch some television while she was waiting for him. Destiney hoped everything was going well with her friend. Nate had promised to call her when the birth was over. A sigh escaped her,and she bit her bottom lip.
Several times she had tried to hint to her boyfriend when it came to children. But Kai always ignored her silent pleas, hurting her. He could at least tell her to her face that he didn`t want children yet. Destiney knew they were young-maybe too young-but she so badly wanted a little boy or girl to take care of, someone beside Kai to share her love with. A tear fell from her eye and she embraced her knees, curling up in a ball.
She felt sad and lonely when Kai was not there.
Kai appeared a little later with a shopping bag in his hand. He saw her sit on the couch hugging her knees. Humming to himself he put down the bag and took off his coat before he went to sit down beside her. He motioned for her to move a little so he could sit behind her and she did so without saying anything.
He embraced her, inhaled the familiar scent of her. She didn`t respond when he kissed her neck softly. He sensed that there was something wrong with her.
Destiney never was this quiet. Normally she was quite a talker, sometimes driving him out of his mind with her chatter. He rested his chin on her shoulder, rocking her gently to and fro.
"What is it, love?You are being awfully quiet now".
She said nothing,but turned to face him. The look of sadness in her eyes astonished him.Why would she be sad?
He cupped her face and rested his forehead on hers.
"Tell me if there is anything wrong. I don`t want you to be sad".
She bit her bottom lip.
"You will only be angry with me",she replied and at the same time avoided his eyes. He smiled at her.
"I promise I won`t".She sighed and leaned into his chest.
"Why can`t we have a child, Kai? You have been ignoring me everytime I have tried to ask you about it".
He sighed in relief. For a moment there he had thought something was badly wrong.
"I do want to have a child with you, Destiney, just not yet...I want to marry you one day and then we will have our own little Kai`s and Destiney`s running around in a big house. But I am not ready-not yet.I dont think I could take care of a baby".
He ran his fingers through her hair, knowing how much she liked that. She stayed quiet, thinking about his answer. Of course it was reasonable, they should finish college before they married and had kids. But still...
He felt her tense up a bit. Mentally he cursed himself. She wasn`t going to let this go.
The silence between them made him feel awkward.He got up and started making dinner.Destiney didn`t move an inch.
Kai was tired and wanted to go to sleep. It was way past midnight. They had spent the whole day at home not doing anything special. But Destiney refused to come to bed yet. She was waiting for her brother to call from the hospital. He didn`t want to sleep without her by his side, but he was awfully tired so he said goodnight and kissed her before he left the living room. She hadn`t pressed the matter any further after Kai gave his answer, she had let it go. What he had said made sense, she knew that. The phone rang,and she rushed to pick it up.
"Hello, Destiney here".A huge smile came to her face as her brother started talking."Hiya sis! I am...Everything is fine, with all three of us".
"How is she doing?"She simply knew Nate was smiling, she could feel it."Malis is fine.Very exhausted, but fine".
"So, boy or a girl?"she asked in excitement."Girl...I have a daughter, Dizzy. Can you believe it?"
His voice was thick with pride and other emotions."Congratulations lil bro...Me and Kai will come visit tomorrow, kay?"
" Sure...Nighty".They hung up. If she couldn`t have her own child at least she could enjoy being the aunt of one. She yawned and went to put on her pyjamas before she slipped into bed and curled up in a ball under Kai`s arm.
