Jealous-Chapter 2

 

 

 

 

The next few days had Rei busy with dealing with his feelings for Kai, and…Johnny. Johnny had been very sweet, giving Rei gifts he thought the neko-jin would like, trying to talk to him, get to know him better. Most of the time, the Scottish boy kept out of Rei's personal space, but every once in a while he would touch Rei lightly, and his eyes would light up.

 

Rei found himself warming to Johnny's constant presence, and he enjoyed all of the small things the Majestic did for him. He really did care about him. Rei was spending more and more time with the red head, even going so far as to go out for walks around Oliver's estate with him.

 

On one such walk, Johnny and Rei were keeping a pleasant silence, enjoying the warm French climate. Rei had his hair back in a loose pony tail, and his long black locks swayed behind him as he walked. He was garbed in a simple Chinese outfit of a matching pair black silk pants and shirt. His golden eyes were brought out by the dark colors, and Johnny found his eyes often drifting over to look at the other blader as they walked. Johnny himself was wearing simple black pants and a tight-fitted red muscle shirt, which made his flaming hair stick out more than usual. Rei himself found it hard to keep his eyes off the Scotsmen, who looked very stunning when his muscles were on display as they were now.

 

 

As they walked, Rei examined his feelings. He had scarcely even looked at Kai in the past few days. His eyes had only been for Johnny. He didn't really doubt the fact that he still liked Kai…But…He was starting to feel for Johnny to. He cursed inwardly at getting himself into this mess. Still, a good thing had come out of this; he had gotten to know Johnny better.

 

Johnny had started truly acting like himself around Rei, and he had become rather comfortable around the Chinese blader. Now, he just wished that Rei would warm up to him some more, and…Maybe he was pushing it, but he really wanted to take this relationship a little bit farther.

 

Rei glanced over at Johnny again, and caught his eye. Not breaking the contact, he instead put a hand on Johnny's arm. Johnny stopped and turned to face Rei.

 

“Johnny…I was wondering…Do you want to…Take our relationship a step further…I mean, if you're not ready that's fine, but-” “No, no it's fine! It's fine. I would mind at all.” Johnny stopped Rei, an eager look on his face. Rei smiled slightly and raised a hand up to touch Johnny's face. Johnny gulped slightly, but didn't move as Rei leaned forward and brought his face close to his. He shivered as Rei brushed his lips ever so softly against his own, and he found himself leaning forward into the touch.

 

Rei wrapped his arms around Johnny's neck, and kissed his more meaningfully. Johnny kissed back with equal passion, and Rei found himself being pushed backwards until he hit a tree. Johnny pinned Rei's lithe body against the tree, kissing the neko with a great amount of need. Rei's eyes opened, startled by the response he had drawn out of the other boy. He closed his eyes, embracing Johnny tightly and kissing him back, enjoying the moment.

 

Kai had also gone for a walk. Or rather, he had seen Johnny and Rei go out for a walk and he had decided to follow them. He had shadowed them carefully (cough stalker cough), not drawing attention to his presence. When the Russian saw the tow stop, he quickly hid in some bushes. From his view point he could see the two talking, then Rei lean forward…His eyebrows contracted, Rei was kissing Johnny. His Rei, was kissing Johnny. His Rei, was kissing Johnny. He managed to control himself a moment more, only to be rewarded with the sight of Rei being backed into a tree and kissed savagely. And that's when he snapped.

 

Jumping out from behind the bushes (cough stalker blew his cover cough), Kai ran at the two. Reaching out, he grabbed Johnny's shoulder and violently ripped the Scotsman away from Rei. He punched Johnny in the stomach, causing the boy to double over in pain. Still awash with blind rage, Kai screamed at Johnny, landing blow after blow to the other blader.

 

“Stay the FUCK away from Rei! You aren't one of us! You can never have a relationship with Rei! NEVER! Do you hear me BITCH! I'll kill you if I see you touch him again! You mean nothing to him! You're scum!”

 

Rei's eyes widened in shock and surprise as Kai pulled Johnny away from him and started beating him like a madman( This is sooo funny…but not cough). Kai had a look of murderous rage of him face and his red eyes were glowing eerily. He stood stalk still, to stunned to do anything, until he realized exactly what Kai was saying. He gasped in horror! Kai was doing this because he was jealous! This was all his fault. He had to do something!

 

Rei threw himself at Kai, wrapping his arms around his captain's shoulders, yelling for him to stop.

 

“Please Kai! Stop, you're hurting him! Please stop!” he pleaded, tears choking his voice as he struggled to restrain the stronger man.

 

“No, Rei, let me go. This little son of a bitch thinks he can get with you. I'm going to make sure he never touches you like that again.” Kai said, still trying to through Rei off.

 

“No! Kai, you can't. Kai!!!” Rei broke down and started crying. Falling to the ground, the neko-jin crumpled up and started sobbing, realizing that this was all his fault.

 

By this time, Johnny was up and recovered. Him and Kai started brawling, both of them getting bloodier by the moment. Rei looked up and saw the chaos he had caused. He couldn't just sit here and cry like a little girl. He had to stop this. Standing, he ran between the two bloodthirsty bladers, pushing them apart with all the strength in his thin body.

 

“No! Stop!” He screamed loudly at both of them. “Johnny! Kai! Stop this now!

 

Johnny and Kai backed off, bent over slightly and panting, wiping away blood. They both glared at each other through Rei, still willing to fight.

 

Rei looked at both of them, distress evident in his voice and face. “You can't do this.” He shook his head wildly. “Kai…I love Johnny…But-“ Rei was cut off as Kai rage once again boiled over.

 

“You LOVE him! How could you love a piece of shit like that!” Kai looked completely shattered, his eyes wild.

 

“Kai-“ Rei tried again, but Kai stormed away, leaving a bloody Johnny and a scared, upset Rei.

 

“KAI!!!!” Rei called after him, but Kai refused to turn back.

 

Rei started to cry again, clutching his face in his hands.

 

“What have I done?” he whispered softly.
