Kai`s child-part two

Mariah carefully put Kaisa down in her bed(in the room she shares with Rei) and tucked her in.Kaisa was breathing heavily,like you always do in your sleep.Mariah whispered a goodnight before she went into their little living room.Rei showed up a little later,his hair all wet.

"Sorry kitten,me and the guys were having a bath in the river",he said,walking towards the bedroom.

Mariah sat up and said,her voice as low as possible:dont go in there,Kaisa is asleep".

Rei looked puzzled for a second before he shruged.He motioned for her to move a little so that he could sit behind her.
She smiled and let him slid between her and the couch and put his arms around her.

"Why is the kid here,kitten?"he asked and started to pur.

"I feel sorry for her,koi.You saw how mean Kai was today".Rei carefully bit her earlob.He loved to cuddle,and he was in the mood tonight for a little closeness.Mariah leaned back and rested her head against his chest.

"I think you should go talk to Kai".He frowned.

"Why?"

He could feel his girlfriend go all tense,and already now he knew that he was in trouble.

"To make him come to his senses!"she hissed.

"But kitten,do you really think that anything I say can do that?After all,you know how stubborn Kai is",he said,his voice soft and low.He hoped that she would not go all mad this time,he hated when she did.Mariah pushed aways his arms and stood up.She looked furious,and Rei knew that he had lost the battle by now.

She crossed her arms and said,in a tone that made room for no discussion:Well,I can be stubborn aswell.Go see him,Rei.At instant!"

He sighed and left the room.

He carefully knocked on Kai`s door,not sure if the captain was still awake.After all,it was late.

When he was about to leave again, a voice said:come in,the door is open".He opened it and went inside.Kai had the biggest bedroom in the whole house,and it was so clean and tidy that Rei almost got sick.But then again,Kai loved perfection.The bluehaired,young man was sitting by his desk,reading.Rei blinked.Did Kai use glasses?He never knew.
He arched an eyebrow when he sat down beside his friend.

"What is it,Rei?Trouble with your girlfriend again?"He sounded amused at this.
Rei sighed.

"You do know that you were really mean today,right?"Kai raised his head from the book her was reading and took off his glasses.

"Did Mariah send you?"Rei nodded.

"She ordered me to go and talk you to your senses.Can you tell me why girls always get it the way they want to?"he sighed.Kai smiled at his younger friend.

"Because you let them,my friend".Rei frowned.

"The girl is with us.I think Mariah has adopted her as her own".
Kai grunted.

"How nice.She is welcome to keep her",he said in a dry tone.Rei palened at this remark.
Kai laughed.

"You dont think so no?"Rei shook his head.

"I do want to marry Mariah and have my own kids,but not just yet.Not at all".He looked into his
captain`s auburn eyes.

"Besides,she is your kid".

Kai`s eyes turned to steel.Rei took the hint.

"Alright,I wont talk about it".He patted Kai`s shoulder in a friendly manner.

"But give her a chance,kay?"

Then he left Kai in his own thoughts.Rei wandered around in the house for a little while.He doubted that Mariah would let him back in tonight,so he went over to the room Max,Kenny and Tyson shared and asked them if he could sleep there.

Kaisa was up quite early,before dawn.She woke Mariah,who was not too pleased about getting up this early.

"Come on,Ma-iah.I am hunwy!"she begged,and the pinkhaired girl had no choice but to come with her to the kitchen.After a nice meal and a cup of tea,she was finally starting to feel a little more awake.The sun had raised,and the golden light were warming them.

"Let`s go outside!"Kaisa said eagerly.She was full of energy after eating breakfast.She ran back into the room to get something,and put on her little,blue shoes.Then she took Mariah`s hand.In her other hand was an old,blue bunny.It looked like it could fall apart anytime.They went to the gardens,and Kaisa turned wild when she saw a bey-dish.

"Come on,Ma-iah!"she cried and laughed in happiness.Mariah could not help but smile.She was really an adorable kid.

"You wanna fight me?"she asked.

"What do you mean,sweetheart?"

Kaisa pulled out her own beyblade from one of her pockets,a silverblue blade.

"You have your own beyblade?"Mariah asked.She was surprised.Kaisa nodded.

"I have my own bit-beast too!"Mariah smiled at her.

"Ok then".They got ready,and Mariah gave the start signal.

"Let it rip!"they both yelled.

Mariah did not call out Galux,fearing that she would tear the little girl`s beyblade to pieces.But she was not as weak as Mariah had assumed.

"Chaiise!Silverribbons,now!"Long,silver bonds emerged from Kaisa`s beyblade,wraping up Galux.Mariah gasped.

"Galux,cat claw(I dont know if her attack is called that,but you know that attack she uses in battle,ay?)
Galux barely managed to break free.

"Attack!"

Galux turned and hit Charise so hard it flew out of the dish.Kaisa grabbed her beyblade.Mariah was very surprised.She had never thought that little girl would be this strong.Kaisa picked up Galux and gave it to the pinkhaired girl.

"You awe really good,Ma-iah!"she smiled.

"You too,sweetheart".Sometime later the rest of the boys showed up,that is,except from Tyson who was still asleep,and Kai,who prefered to be alone.

"Hey,Kaisa!"Max called out.Kaisa smiled at him and reached out her arms for him to lift her.He did,and she ruffled his hair.Rei and Lee came behind.

"Good morning!"Lee said and ruffled her hair.She giggled and did the same to him.Rei was the only one who did not say a word.She went over to him and kissed him.

"Are you not mad at me anymore?"he asked.She shook her head.

"How could I be mad at you,koi?"she said.Rei smiled,but remained still.

"Whele is Tyson?And my daddy?"Max sat down and put her in his lap.

"Tyson is still snoring,while Kai...he is probably out somewhere".Kaisa giggled.

"I fought Ma-iah.But she won",Kaisa said,her smile as bright as ever.She was not bothered about loosing to Mariah at all.She seemed rather proud.

"Fought?With beyblades,you mean?"Kenny asked.The girl nodded and took out her beyblade.

"You wanna take a look at it?"

Kenny nodded and took her beyblade in his own hands.He sat down on the grass and started typing on Dizzy.After a little while he gasped.

"Wow!Kaisa,are you aware of Charise`s strength?"He sounded impresed.The girl just shruged.

"Nah,not weally.Is she stwong then?"Kenny raised his head from the screen.

"She is very strong,Kaisa.Maybe even stronger than both Driger and Dragoon".This hit them straight in the face.

"That strong?"

Kaisa just smiled and put her thumb in her mouth again.Kenny gave her Charise back,and she put it in her pocket again.Then she gave her bunny to Max and put her arms around his neck.He stared at it.

"This looks familiar.Have you seen this one before?"Rei smiled.

"Yes.You guys remember when we discovered that Kai rought that bunny with him everywhere?"He giggled at the thought of the memory.

"He must have left it at Beccy`s place when they broke up",Kenny said.Max laughed.

"Yes,it is kinda hard to believe that Kai couldn`t sleep without that bunny".They others grinned aswell when they remembered.

"Tell",Kaisa begged.They all sat down on the grass in a circle,and Rei started talking.

"Ok,this was during a tournament in ireland.We were staying at a hotel,not far from the stadium.And as usual,Kai had a room of his own.On our second day there,he seemed very annoyed and more grumpy than usual.

We did not ask,we never do,and just assumed that he was having a bad day.In the looby,we had to pick up our mail and stuff you see,we saw that bunny on a shelf.A note was hanging on it,saying:Where is my owner?And Maxy here said that it was probably soem poor kid that was crying because he had lost his bunny.And I swear,that was the first time I have seen Kai blush.He went all red".Rei frowned and let Max take over.

"Later that evening,when I had ben in the pool,I was on my way back up to our room when I saw Kai go get his bunny.You bet we got curious.That night we snuck into Kai`s room,and we almost laughed ourselves to death when we saw that he was sound asleep,the bunny tucked under his arm!The next day we did not say anything about it,but pointed out that someone had picked up the bunny.We had sooo much fun during that tournament,making Kai blush whenever we wanted too".

Everyone laughed at the thought of a blushing Kai.They heard footsteps.

"Hiya guys!"It was Tyson.

"What were you guys laughing at?"he asked and sat down beside Max.He was looking curiously at them.

"You remember Kai`s bunny?"Tyson grinned and put his hands behind his head.

"I remember.Anyone who wanna go bathing?"They looked at each other.

"Sure!"they all said.

On their way to the springs,the boys wearing shorts,Mariah wearing a bikini.

Tyson ruffled Kaisa`s hair and said:if Kai every say anything bad to you again,you dont run away,ok?You come tell me instead,and I`ll kick his grumpy ass!"

"Tyson!"Mariah hissed.

Kaisa nodded and let go of Mariah`s hand so Tyson could lift her up.He smiled and did so.Tyson blushed when the little girl put her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.

"Thanks,uncle Tyson".His blushing turned deeper red,and Max told him he looked like a tomato.

"You heard that boys?I am uncle Tyson!"The others just laughed at him and shook their heads.

When dinner time came,they decided to go back to the village.After all,the chief would be disapointed if they did not show up.By then,Kaisa had adopted all the boys as her uncles.They all adored her,Mariah knew that,she did herself.After all,the girl was iresistable cute.
