A/N: My reasoning for getting this out so late is simple. It was not writer’s block or laziness, it was conflicting plot ideas. Usually, when I write my stories, I only plan about ten chapters in, with no ending in mind. Then, I need to wrack my brains for more ideas. As I finished the last chapter, an idea hit me. She sat cross-legged and thought. Finally she spoke, “Well, there is a way for you to free me. It‘ll be permanent I‘m afraid. The seal works by grabbing the closest concentration of demon energy and pulling it into the seal. So if I got far away when there was a large amount of demon energy closer to you, it would grab that instead.” She tried not to sound too hopeful, and failed miserably.

However, this would be a classic case of thinking with the wrong head. Naruto instantly agreed. She grinned widely. “So how do we do it?” He asked her.

“I‘ll give you the directions, and you follow them to the letter alright?” He nodded.

Naruto was dressed in his Kyuubi cloak and straw hat. He was at the outskirts of Suna getting ready to leave. Just before he was about to speed through, he was stopped by Temari’s voice, “Leaving without saying good-bye…I‘m hurt Naruto-sama.”

‘You need to search for an underground entrance. I’m sorry, but this place looks completely different. Let me take partial control to see if I can sniff the place out.’ he did, and his features turned feral. ‘Alright, I have a weak reading. I’ll follow it.’ She took off…on a wild goose chase. The scent kept changing places randomly. She ended up going uptown, downtown, back uptown, to Chinatown, and back downtown before she finally caught a strong hold on the scent. After finding where it was strongest, she started to spin causing a small tornado. She jumped and flipped, put her hands in a tora seal, extended her claws, and crashed down. The speed and power of it caused her to act as a huge drill, burying into the ground at a frightening pace.

After about a hundred meters, she gave Naruto back full control as she entered empty space. Naruto flipped and landed firmly on the ground, but not before wiping his clothes of dirt. He removed his traveling cloak and sealed it in a scroll, revealing his regular attire. He took the kasa off his head, and smirked as torches lit up in blue flame. Kyuubi told him to walk forward and he did so. The corridor he was in was incredibly long and it took him ten minutes to reach the end. When he did, more torches lit up, revealing a staircase and a set of doors with giant chains locking it. He walked up to the stairs, but paused at a really weird sound. He turned and almost blanched. Demons were rising out of the ground.

‘Ah, Abysses. I haven’t seen an Abyss in a long, long time. Careful, they are high-C-ranked demons. Though that’s more to do with their numbers then anything.’ Kyuubi sounded amused at the situation.

The Abysses were chalky white with jagged lines of red going up its body that he could swear were excreting blood. They were hunched-back beings, with four spiked camel mounds on its back. Two were higher up, and two were lower down. It had a large sickle, and said sickle had a pulsing, flaming blade.

He walked up to the three that appeared and heard the sound again behind him. He now assumed that he had three behind him too. One jumped at him and he waited until the blade was about a foot from his face, before he lashed out with the sheathed Yamato and smacked it in the face, sending it crashing into one of its friends. He unsheathed the katana and spun, driving his blade into the last one’s midsection. It cut clean through, separating its torso from its hips. He felt the wind behind him shift, so he bent at the knees and fell back. Now his feet were planted firmly on the ground, with his calves pointing straight up, but everything thigh-up was perpendicular to the ground.

The blade which had been heading toward him passed overhead, so he bent back up and round-housed the damn thing in the side. There was a wet cracking sound, showing that its ribs were out of commission. It stood firmly, its feet not even moving. Naruto put even more force into his leg as he drew it back and threw another, even more powerful kick.

This time the beast didn’t stand a chance. The foot connected with its head, and its face distorted from the impact. His foot kept going and launched it clean across the room and through the wall. He turned and saw another blade heading for him. He dodged nimbly, hooked his foot around its thigh and kicked up. The force forced the beast into an aerial cartwheel. So it was upside down and directly in front of the last Abyss when Naruto sheathed his sword and then unsheathed it again with blinding speed, cutting clean through the last two.

Blood flew in a spray from them, and covered him. He grimaced and then smiled. He brought his hand up and ran it through his hair, spiking it. He flicked the blood off his sword by swiping at the air. He was about to sheath it again when a different sound appeared. This time it was like a fluttering cloak with some shattering glass. He looked in front of him, and it looked like there was indeed some shattering glass. The air had seemingly cracked and then shattered while a creature hopped out in a ring of red runes. If Naruto didn’t know better, he would have assumed it was the Shinigami. It was covered in head to toe in a tattered black cloak, it had a vicious looking scythe, and it had a skull for a head. Kyuubi called them Hell-Prides, and said that they were the E-ranked demons of hell.

Naruto shrugged, and did a few hand signs. He summoned three beings. They were all identical. All made of wood, all wearing red medieval clothes, and all had either blades for hands or a long piece of metal and wood. He smirked, “Let’s see how you do against my marionettes.” He attached chakra strings to the three and watched as they came to life. The Prides commenced their attack. The marionette on his left started spinning and threw its blades at the thing. They connected and the Pride let out a scream. The one in the front span with its blades out the first blade knocked the scythe out of the Pride’s hands. The second sliced its head off. The last one sped to the Pride and lifted the metal thing into its line of sight.

There was an eardrum-breaking crack and a cloud of dust came out of the metal. The Pride flew as if struck. “Heh, how‘d ya like your helping of shotgun to the face?” He asked with a grin. All of this happened in the span of a few seconds so all the Prides crumbled into sand. He sent his puppets away and was about to walk up the stairs when a pained, insane scream sounded, along with the sound of a shimmering cloak.

Naruto thought that it was another pride, but quickly realized he was wrong. This one was at least three times the size of the prides. Its cloak was slightly open, revealing a skeleton. The skull was also open in a pained scream. And a blue glow surrounded it and its scythe had a glowing purple and black energy blade, much like Temaris‘. ‘Hell Vanguard. High-C-class.’ Kyuubi informed him. It screamed again, and disappeared in a black cloud. Naruto felt a presence above him, so he used his sword style’s teleportation to appear above the beast. He did a helm breaker with his Red Queen, and cut of its left arm. (Downward swing that slams into the ground.) He stabbed it in the chest, and twisted the swords’ hilt. The liquid squirted out of the blade and ignited. The Hell Vanguard lit on fire and let out an anguished scream! With it hooked on his sword, he swung it and his blazing enemy above his head. A flaming tornado formed and then he threw the Hell Vanguard into the wall. All that was left was a small tatter of it’s cloak. He walked away before stopping and turned around. The last piece of its cloak lit up in a black light and started coming towards him. He didn’t know why, but he stuck out his hand and grabbed the orb of light. The power started to flow through him, giving him the same aura. Then, the orb changed into a scroll. He opened it curiously, revealing the ‘CONTRACT OF THE SEVEN HELLS.’ He shrugged and signed it. Then a pride appeared, grabbed the scroll, and went away. He shrugged again and continued on his way.

He walked up the stairs. He reached the door and sliced through the chains. He opened the door and came into a dark room with a spotlight in the very middle. He went up to it, and on Kyuubi’s insistence, he slit his palm. Instead of regular blood, black, glowing blood came out of the wound.

Runes lit up and illuminated the floor. ‘Good! Now get the fuck out of here!’ Kyuubi yelled at him as the room started to quake. He sped out of there and jumped through the hole Kyuubi had made earlier. He sped up the hole and back into the sunlight. He landed and crouched on a building. By now, the quake had reached where he was. And the whole town was quaking madly. The ground split in four separate directions and then…BOOOOM!!! Something exploded out of the ground. The earth was thrust up and rained on the town. Wherever they fell, huge craters followed.

A huge wall of dust flew up in front of him and then, out of the ground rose a huge tower. ‘I never get tired of watching that huge thing rise out of the ground. That shaft that makes women shuuuuddeeeerrrrr!!!’ She shuddered to make the point, and then fell down laughing. Naruto’s eye was twitching. ‘Welcome to the Temen-ni-gru! Or as I love calling it, the Bloody Palace baby!’ He walked up to the big ass entrance and looked in. It was all white. He sighed and walked in, but was hit with a blast of freezing cold air. He shivered. It was damn cold. He looked up and saw that the entire room was frozen solid. In front of him, a three headed…thing was frozen solid in ice. He shrugged, and started to walk forward. The room started to quake, and ice fell from the ceiling as the huge thing started moving. The ice continued to fall until he could clearly see the beast.

It was a three headed dog…covered in ice…and it was about a third of the size of a boss summon. Naruto didn’t need Kyuubi to tell him that it was Cerberus, the co-taicho of the Dog summoning contract. It growled and stepped forward as it caught sight of Naruto. “LEAVE NOW MORTAL! THOSE WHO ARE POWERLESS ARE NOT WORTHY TO SET FOOT HERE!” the middle head roared at him!

Naruto blinked and smirked, “Wow! I‘ve never seen a talking mutt before. You know…in a dog show…you‘d definitely take first place!”

The dog growled again, and the right head roared, “YOU! A MERE HUMAN! YOU MAKE A MOCKERY OF ME! RRRAAAAAAAARGGGHHHH!” It launched a spray of ice from its mouth that would freeze anything in its path.

Naruto jumped over it and said, “Easy Fido! How bout I take ya for a walk?” he bent down, clapped his hands, and whistled, “C‘mon puppy! Let’s go!”

The left head screamed in rage, “Gahhh! You‘ll regret this you worm!” (A/N: I LOVE that scene. It kicks so much ass! Sorry for using it, but it’s already been disclaimed so haha! *Glares at lawyers!* Haha can’t touch this! De ne ne ne…nene. Can‘t touch this! De ne ne ne…nene. Can‘t touch this!) It launched another stream of ice, which Naruto easily dodged. Naruto used the Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu to blow a steam of combustible gas at the dog, which ignited into blue flames as it hit a torch. It melted the ice off the dog.

Cerberus looked extremely surprised, “SO YOU DO HAVE POWERS AFTER ALL! BUT I SHALL NOT LET YOU PASS HUMAN!” All three heads roared at the sky, and the ice reformed. Naruto’s eye twitched. ‘Shiite!’ He rushed forward and dodged as its right head tried to eat him. He dodged and used the Goukakyuu no Jutsu. The beast’s right head roared in pain as it swallowed the fireball. The ice melted off the head and it hung limply. Naruto ran and cut it off for good measure. The dog growled in rage and stood on its hind legs. It then slammed its front paws into the ground. Naruto jumped up just in time. Under him, giant ice spikes jutted out from the ground. He landed on one and swore as his leg instantly froze into a solid block of ice. He created a Kage Bunshin and had it continuously launch Housenka no Jutsu at Cerberus as a distraction.

Then he used his fire manipulation to slowly melt the ice. After a minute, his leg was free, although he couldn’t feel it at all. He could still use it though. He formed the hand seals for the Haryuu Mouko no Jutsu. A huge wolf of ice formed and attacked the Cerberus. It was easily torn apart, but not before it blinded the left head.

Naruto turned his chakra blade on the zanbato on and sliced the head in half, following the jaw line. Then he sliced the dangling pieces off its neck. Now he only needed to kill it. He unfortunately was bitten in the leg. He growled and used the Hari Jizou to turn his hair into spikes. As the dog went to swallow him, it went into rock hard spikes and screamed in pain. Naruto disabled the Jutsu and finished the dog off. Using the Haisekishou no Jutsu, Naruto expelled a cloud of black ash from his mouth. It surrounded his powerful foe. He clicked his teeth, and the cloud ignited, causing a tremendous explosion. The dog fell to the ground, dead. Then it exploded and compressed into a blue orb. Much like the one that gave him the seven Hells contract. The orb slammed into his chest, and he instantly felt power course through him. He put his hand at his side, as though grabbing the hilt of an imaginary katana, and then swung, screaming, “BITE, CERBERUS!” The blue light appeared in his hand and turned into a chain with three, paw like numchuks. He smirked, and vanished the weapon, “Well, this has been fun and all, but I want some sleep.” He leaned up on a wall, and fell asleep.
