Chapter 2

"First Battle"

Sakura told everything to Syaoran. At first, he was shocked. Later, he was excited. At nighttime, Yugi felt a strong force near the penguin park. Sakura, Syaoran, and Yugi went to see what was up. Tomoyo went to Sakura's house and told Touya and Kero everything. Touya was surprised, but Kero was very shocked.

At the Penguin Park

"Why are you coming? You're not a card captor." Syaoran asked.

"No. But I have this little machine-like thing that can weaken any cards. My friend Seto Kaiba made it!" said Yugi.

"Cool!" exclaimed Sakura.

When they arrived at the penguin park, there was a person with a cape who was standing on the slide.

"It's about time! I thought I had to make my aura stronger!" he said.

"Who are you?" Sakura asked.

"My name is Roy. Now enough talk, give the Yellow Card! Now!"

Sakura gasped. "You! You're that evil card captor! Aren't you?"

Roy laughed. "I guess I am evil. Now give me the Yellow Card or I'll have to destroy you!"

"No! Never!" Sakura yelled.

"Have it your way." Roy created a sword on his hand. "Give me them! Or I'll slice you in half!"

Syaoran went in front of Sakura. "No you don't! I have a sword too. I'll fight you!"

Roy laughed.

"I'll help you Syaoran!" said Sakura.

Sakura chanted her words and formed a wand. "Sword!" The wand turned into a sword.

Roy charged at them. Sakura and Syaoran were swinging their swords just as fast as Roy was.

Roy released a beam. It hit both Sakura and Syaoran. They were unconscious.

"Sakura! Syaoran!"

Roy approached him. "You have the card. Hand it over! Or suffer the consequences!"

"YU-GI-OH!" he yelled out. "You'll never get the card! Our main goal is to stop you. Obliterate!"

This attack sent Roy flying. He growled. "He's strong! I have to be careful with him!" he thought.

He stood up. "You may have won this time. But you won't be so lucky next time!"

He disappeared.

Yugi transformed back. He ran to Sakura and Syaoran.

"Looks like they're going to need my help. Big time!"
