Chapter 29

"What Friends Are For"

Sakura got out her wand. "Hope Card! Release!" Hope came out and asked, "Yes master?"

"I have to ask you something. Can you bring all my friends back?"

"Yes. But…"

"But?"

"You and your friends will lose their memories. So will Diamond. You won't remember anything about the cards."

"Isn't there any way to remember?"

"Maybe, I can try to let you and your friends remember, but once again, there's a catch."

"Tell me."

"Yugi will not remember that he loves you. Like before, he will lose his feelings towards you. And this time, it will happen. You got off lucky six years ago master. I'm sorry. There's nothing I can do."

Sakura looked down. "All right. Hope Card!"

Diamond gasped. "What is she up to?"

"Please bring my friends back to life!!!"

Hope made a huge light. Sakura and Diamond covered their eyes. Everyone in the world covered his or her eyes. They all wondered what was happening. Minutes later, the shine stopped. Sakura opened her eyes.

"SAKURA!" yelled Tomoyo.

"TOMOYO!" yelled Sakura.

They ran to each other and hugged.

"Where's everyone else?" asked Sakura.

"They're coming." Answered Tomoyo.

One by one, each came back. Yugi was the last one to come.

"YUGI!" Yelled Sakura. She ran to him and hugged him"

"Oh hey Sakura. What happened?" asked Yugi.

"Oh yeah." Whispered Sakura. "Nothing really." She answered.

"No! This can't be! All of them… alive?" asked Diamond.

"Yep. Looks like I'll be needing these." Answered Sakura.

She took out the Red Card, Blue Card, and the Green Card. "Four down, three to go!"

"Give them back!" yelled Diamond making a ball in his palm. "With this ball, I can destroy the whole world in seconds! You won't have enough time to stop it! So hand them over!"

Everyone gasped.

Eriol stood up. "Brother, why are you doing this? Come on! We can work together!"

"Thanks… But No Thanks! I stand alone! Now give me my cards now!"

"Never!" yelled Syaoran.

"Have it your way!" yelled Diamond. He started to fly to the sky.

"All right! He's giving up!" yelled Tea. "We win!"

Sakura sighed. "He finally gave up."

Eriol gasped.

"What's wrong?" asked Sakura.

"Sakura! He's going to destroy the world! Stop him!" he yelled.

"What?" asked Sakura. She looked up into the sky. Diamond looked like a dot.

"Right! FLY!" Sakura grew wings once again. She took off.

Diamond laughed. "She's coming. Perfect!"

Sakura caught up to him. "STOP! Don't destroy this planet!"

Diamond laughed again. He took off again. Sakura followed him.

"I wonder he's up to." Said Yugi.

"Yeah." Said Joey. "Do you know, Eriol?"

"No. He could destroy the earth, but that's not what he really wants. He wants something that Sakura has. I'm just not sure what it is."

Syaoran was getting pissed off. "AREN'T YOU GOING TO SAVE HER!" he yelled. "YOU GOT DAMN WINGS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!"

"Calm down! There's nothing I can do."

Syaoran calmed down. "Sorry. I just love her too much to see her get hurt."

"It's ok. There is something we can do."

"What is it?" asked Joey.

"Well, according to my calculations, the Violet Card shouldn't be far from here. In fact, it's that cherry blossom tree over there." He pointed to the tree that Sakura used to go back in time. "It's another dimension, though. It will be hard, but with the four cards we have, we'll unstoppable. Unfortunately, only three humans can enter. I have to be there to lead the way."

Joey stepped up. "Yugi and Syaoran should with you. They have magic, so they should go."

Yugi and Syaoran nodded.

"Come back here coward!" yelled Sakura.

Diamond snickered. "Just a little longer." He kept flying up.

Sakura was worried. "What is he up to?" She stopped. "This is far enough Diamond! Now what are you doing?"

Diamond growled. "Oh well, I guess this will do." He stopped. "Ok. I have a deal for you."

"What is it?"

"Join me and we will do great things together."

"I already turned this down before. And why did you take me up here?"

"Well, (laughing) this time, you can't turn it down."

"What? Why?"

"Because." The ball that was on his finger grew and grew until it was as big as the earth. "You don't have a choice."

Sakura gasped.

"Oh my god! It's that ball again!" exclaimed Joey.

Everyone gasped. To everyone on earth, the ball was the size of the sun.

"STOP THIS!"

Diamond laughed. "If you'll join me."

"If I joined you, I would have to destroy planets. I will never do that!"

"Aww! That's a shame!" he threw the ball towards Sakura and the earth. Sakura gasped in terror. `Oh no! There's only one thing to do!'

"SHIELD!" Sakura made a shield around the earth. "I'll never let you destroy this beautiful planet! NEVER!"

Sakura used so much energy that she made a new card! It was called `Reflect'. "WOW! All right! Let's give it a shot!"

"REFLECT!" The card reflected the ball! Now the ball went towards Diamond.

"What? NO! THIS CAN'T BE!" he put his hand on the ball and tried to push it back. But he failed. He and the ball disappeared. He was dead.

Sakura was weak. Her wings disappeared and started falling. Eriol caught a glance and caught her. "She's weak. She doesn't have enough strength to go on our mission. Joey, Tea, and Tomoyo will take her to the hospital ok?"

They nodded.

"No. I'm ok." Replied Sakura. "Here, give me the Rainbow Cards." She got her hand out. Eriol gave them to her. The second she touched the cards, spark were going up her body. She was healed! Everyone sighed.

Touya looked outside the window. "Wasn't I in the bathroom? Oh well. Hey dad!"

No one replied.

"Dad?" he checked the whole house. He didn't appear. "Maybe he went to work or something." He looked outside. "It is kind of dark though." He went to the living room and turned on the television. He pressed the TV remote 100 times. Nothing.

"Well, my favorite show will be at 7:00. So I'll watch the news until then." He turned to channel six.

"Hello everyone. Here's a special bulletin board from today. We now show Mark at the Liberty Park. Mike?"

The camera appeared outside and there was a man on the camera. "Good evening everyone! There have been disturbances lately here. Check this huge hole!" The camera showed the hole Diamond created. "WOW! We might investigate that soon. Also, all of the West Towers have destroyed! No one knows why, it just happened! And thing is that another star near earth! It was just about the Earth! We're going to have to investigate all these weird things!!!"

Touya turned off the television. "I better see what's Sakura's doing. She might have something to with this. But first I'm going to record TV show!"

"Wow! I'm healed. Cool!" Sakura stood up from the ground. "Let's go!"

"WAIT!" yelled Eriol.

Everyone stopped.

"I've just discovered something!!"

"What is it?" asked Sakura.

"Only two people can go now! That means Sakura and Syaoran will go!"

"What about you? You know where it is. You should go with Sakura!" exclaimed Syaoran.

"I can't! For some reason, my brother's death took power outside of me! I don't have enough strength!"

"Maybe the cards will help." Said Sakura.

"NO! I can't touch them! If I do, they will disappear."

"Isn't that a good thing?" asked Tea.

"No. If they get destroyed, the whole universe will seize to exist. Diamond did that on purpose. That's why we have to wish to be destroyed. Diamond couldn't do anything about stopping the wish."

"Oh." Said Joey.

"I have an idea." Said Eriol. "I'll give this special lasin board and it will lead you to the card." He handed the lasin board to Sakura.

"Be careful Sakura. You're only aloud in there for ten minutes."

Sakura walked towards the tree. "Ten minutes? No sweat."

Syaoran followed her. "Will be back in no time!"

Yugi stepped up. "Good luck Sakura." He said.

Sakura blushed. "Thanks."

Syaoran noticed the blush. He didn't say anything though.

The portal to the other dimension opened. When they went inside, it vanished.

With Diamond destroyed and with being saved, there are no worries. But Sakura and Syaoran are going to face the evilest card of all… The Violet. Will Sakura capture all this darkness? Or will she be trapped forever? Find out on the next chapter!!!
