Truth

 

Latter that evening Touya was woken up by a very tired Yukito.

 

“To-ya, wake up my love… we have to wash and to get dressed and I think I've heard your sister coming in…”

 

Touya was awake but it took a while before Yukito's words were fully understood.

 

“What… the kaijuu is home already? What time is it?”

 

He was looking for a clock when Yukito answered, “It's six thirty…”

 

“Oh no! I was supposed to be in charge of dinner tonight!” the boy was already panicking.

 

“Shh, don't worry Touya, just go, take your bath and I'll take care of your room, then when I'm ready I'll go downstairs and help you with dinner…”

 

“Thanks Yuki!” Touya kissed his boyfriend and rushed to the shower. He had to hold back his desire of inviting Yuki to come along or they would never make it in time.

Yukito stood up and dressed Touya's robe, then he started changing the bedcovers and the sheets, Yes my love we made a mess here, but was worth it.

 

After his own shower he went downstairs to help Touya with the food, they were both so tired… Yuki felt like he could sleep for a whole week through and so did Touya.

“Hullo niichan!” Sakura's voice came from the second floor, “You're home already? Where were you?” she asked reaching the doorsill with a sly smile.

 

“Oh… hullo Yukito-san!” she bowed and flushed lightly.

 

Touya froze when he realized something, too late, “We were ah…”

 

“… studying” Yukito completed for Touya who was busy hiding his sudden blush.

 

“Ah… well I've got nothing better to do… May I help you with dinner?”

 

“Sure!” answered Yukito still backing up for Touya who had just dropped a knife and hit his head on the table when he bowed to catch it.

 

This went on until dinner was ready and Touya's father came home.

“Tadaima”

 

“Okaerinasai otousan!” answered Sakura, welcoming her father.

 

“Hullo son, kun ban wa Tsukishiro-kun!”

 

“Kun ban wa Kinomoto-san”

 

“Hullo father!”

 

“Father” called Sakura, “… niichan is so weird today…” she said smiling.

 

“Is he?” Mr. Kinomoto lifted an eyebrow.

 

“Yes… I think he's hiding something…” she answered giggling a bit “I think you'd better tell father, niichan…”

 

“Well, are you all right Touya?” asked Fujitaka with a concerned look to his son.

 

“Yes father, don't listen to the kaijuu, she's just blabbering…”

 

“Touya! I'm not a monster…” she yelled at him.

 

“Well everybody why don't we take our seats? Dinner is ready!” said Yukito trying to call for everybody's attention, but that didn't spare Touya from being hit by Sakura's foot.

 

“Ouch…”

 

“Yes, that is a good idea Tsukishiro-kun… lets eat!”

 

…

 

“Itadakimasu!”

 

“Well the food is very good, whose turn to cook was it?”

 

“Touya's, but I helped him and Yukito-san helped him too…”

 

“Yes, but most of it was Touya's doing…” said Yukito.

 

“That is not true Yukito-san, we did almost everything while niichan was just dropping everything and hitting his head on the cupboards…”

 

Yukito coughed to hide a smile and then he looked at Touya who was doing a terrible job trying not to blush again right in front of his father.

 

“Son, are you felling well? You're all red, are you sure you don't have a fever?”

 

“No father, I'm fine but if you please excuse me, I would like to go to my room…”

 

“It's all right son you can go”

 

“Come Yuki…” Touya called.

 

Yukito was taken aback by his sudden summon but he didn't complain, “Excuse me Kinomoto-san, Sakura-chan” he followed Touya to his room.

“To-ya are you all right?” he asked carefully while closing the door.

 

“Yes Yuki it's just that…” Touya's hands were shaking.

 

“To-ya…” Yukito whispered.

 

“I want to tell him… I want to tell my father…”

 

“Tell him what?”

 

“About us Yuki! I can't take this anymore, and the kaijuu… I know she's dating that gaki but she still fells all `hoe' about you…”

 

“To-ya… You don't have to tell him of you're so afraid…”

 

“That is the problem Yuki, I'm not afraid of him it's just that the kaijuu, she's not making things any easier…”

 

“Are you afraid of what she may think?”

 

“Not just that… Yuki, I don't think we were home alone this afternoon…”

 

“What?!” Yukito almost screamed in disbelief his eyes growing wide.

 

“Shh Yuki… they'll hear us!”

 

“You… you mean she was home while we…”

 

“Yes, and we made all that noise…”

 

“Oh, To-ya what do we do know?” Yukito's voice was faint and he just dropped on the bed felling his legs turn to jelly under him.

 

“Well I suppose there's nothing to be done, is there?”

 

“No… not really…” he whispered.

 

…

 

“I guess I won't be able to face Sakura-chan for a long time…”

 

“Yeah… neither will I… at least without blushing and everything… and she told me she would come home earlier today from her cheerleading practice… I'm sorry Yuki I totally forgot…”

 

“It's all right To-ya… like you said, there's nothing we can do now…” Yukito shrugged trying to be as nonchalant as possible.

 

“Yes, well…”

 

They were interrupted for someone knocked on the door. “Yes?” Touya opened it.

 

“Oh… I'm sorry to bother you niichan… hope you were not `studying'…” she smiled and peered into the room.

 

“No kaijuu, we were not studying” Touya blushed again, “What do you want?”

 

“Well I'm sorry to ask this, but Kero wants to have a word with Yue, if Yukito-san is not too busy…”

 

Touya looked at Yukito, both were now sure Sakura was home during the afternoon, the way she said `studying' was not right, not right at all…

Yukito came forward and stepped into Sakura's room already as Yue, he was not surprised to see Keroberus in his true form waiting for him.

 

“What do you want Keroberus?” he asked rather coldly.

 

The golden lion looked at him and closed the door with his paw before turning back and staring at Yue in a furious way.

 

“Just what, what do you think you are doing?” he said, his voice trembling with rage.

 

Yue was not frightened, he would never be frightened of Keroberus, but he was not prepared for that question, he had no idea of what the lion was talking about.

“I might answer that, if you just tell me what you are talking about…”

 

“How dare you? I'm talking about you and Sakura's brother of course!”

 

Yue's eyes went suddenly very cold, the only betrayal of his surprise. He had not been waiting for that…

 

“That is not of your concern Keroberus” he spat unmoved.

 

“What do you mean not of my concern? After all you did with him this afternoon! All that moaning and screaming, and Sakura was home, for heavens sake!” he roared, “She's just a child!”

 

“We didn't know Keroberus! Do you think we would have done that knowing she was next door?”

 

“Yes I do! You might look like an angel Yue, but you don't fool me! You never did! I know you are a wicked creature who can't control its own lust!”

 

“How dare you?” They were both screaming by now and Yue raised his glowing hand showing his gems at the sneaky lion menacingly “You're just jealous because you will never be able to have what I have!”

 

“Shut up Yue! What is it that you have?” Now it was him who was opening wide his glowing mouth, “At least I don't have to be a cheap hooker, a sex toy for people to like me!”

 

They were both ready to attack each other when Sakura entered the room and gave her order “Stop right now! Both of you!” she screamed, and the two creatures held back immediately.

 

“Mistress…”

 

“Sakura… I'm sorry…” asked Kero bowing his head.

 

Yue looked at the girl but said nothing.

 

“Now, I wanted you to talk and not to argue…”

 

“It`s all his fault Sakura, if Yue wasn't so proud of himself…”

 

“Shut up! Shut up, Keroberus! Why did you have to spoil my life when it started to fell right?” Yue shouted, he had lost all his self-control plus he was crying.

 

The lion froze in his place, he had never seen Yue this nervous, or this hurt before, maybe he had hit a nerve without noticing it… he looked down… already regretting his harsh words…

 

“You stupid lion! How dare you call me here to tell me these things? How dare you… call me a hooker! A … toy?” he whispered the last word.

 

Yue was shaking violently and his tears were plain for all to see, but he didn't care, he didn't care anymore… he just wanted to vanish. He looked at his Mistress to see if she would stop him, he knew she wouldn't so he flew through the open window and disappeared into the night sky.

Touya looked at the lion menacingly, “What did you just tell him you stupid animal?”

 

“Wait Touya, I think Kero has already had enough for one night…”

 

“Oh, has he? What about Yue? Have you heard what the lion told to him?”

 

“Yes, I have Touya but I don't think…”

 

“Listen to me Sakura, I'm sorry you had to hear what you heard this afternoon, I swear we didn't know you were home and yes, I am dating Yukito, or Yue…” he than gazed at Kero, “and what I do or don't do with my boyfriend is not of your sneaky lion's concern! Now, if you please excuse me, I need to find Yue…”

 

“Oniichan…” Sakura whispered but he was already downstairs putting on his jacket.

Yue had not gone far; he was at the town's park gazing at the full moon, still crying miserably. He had hidden his wings not to startle the people around there with his supernatural appearance.

 

Touya was watching him from afar; Yue looked paler in the moonlight, his fair skin as white as marble. The boy came closer to him and then hugged the angel from behind, placing his arms around him protectively.

 

Yue was not taken by surprise and he let himself stay in Touya's comfortable grasp.

 

He sighed and then leaned his head to touch Touya's shoulder so they made eye contact.

 

“I scared her, didn't I?” he sighed.

 

Touya smiled and then looked at the night sky, “Don't worry about her… she'll be fine… Although I deny it, she's already a big girl. It is you I'm worried about…”

 

“I wish I could say I'm sorry, but I am not… Keroberus had what he deserved… and I had what I deserved as well…”

 

Touya felt Yue's tears coming down his eyes again, soaking his shirt, “No, you didn't deserve that…” he soothed.

 

“Oh, yes I did. Keroberus is right; I am nothing but a sex toy… I was never nothing but a toy… a whore”

 

“How can you say something like that? You're not my toy! I love you and that's why…”

 

“Stop, please To-ya stop…” Yue shook his head and then turned to faced him “I swear I want nothing else but to believe your words… but I can't… I will not commit the same mistake twice…”

 

“The same mistake?” Touya's expression was puzzled.

 

“I fell in love once To-ya… I was desperately in love with my creator…”

 

“I know, Clow…”

 

“Yes… and he told me the same words you did… and I believed him… but they were nothing but lies… and I became his toy, just as Keroberus said… but I fooled myself, I wanted so to believe him, that he loved me like he said… but he was a liar… and I suffered… so much”

 

The angel came closer to Touya's ear and whispered desperately “Please don't lie to me, my love… don't make me suffer as he did…”

 

“I'm not lying Yue” the boy hugged the angel again, “I truly love you…”

 

“What can I do To-ya? I have no escape but to believe your words, for I've already fallen for you, just as I fell for my master long ago…”

 

“Listen to me Yue, I am not Clow and I don't want to play with you, I just want to have you by my side… always…”

 

“To-ya…”

 

“I love you Yue, I cannot promise you will never suffer because love is unpredictable, but I'll do my best to make you happy…”

 

“To-ya… I love you too… and I believe your words”

 

Touya kissed his angel dearly, the moonlight as the only witness of their vows.
