We have reached the second chapter of my first `Spectrum Wars' story. In the near future, I will continue with my Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Digimon, and Sailor Moon crossovers, but my mind needs a break from them at this moment. I hope that this story is good and I hope that you will read more of it in the near future. And remember, this story is an AU ending to the `Blackest Night' which is still ongoing for the time being.

 

Before I start I would like to give credit to Time-warlock for the inspiration of the idea, how the rings get into Naruto's `realm', Naruto and Itachi getting certain Lantern Power Rings, and other material that I didn't mention in this commentary.

 

Warning: This story contains intense violence, blood, gore, death, mild to explicit suggestive themes, mild to explicit bad language, and X-rated adult themes/situations!

Spectrum Wars: Ninja Lanterns

 

Chapter 2: Battling and Converging Lanterns

 

Right now, we find ourselves within the Hokage's office along with Kakashi, who has recently taken over for Asuma in command of Team 10, Team 10 AKA Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji, Yamato, Hinata, Shino, Kiba, Tenten, Neji, Lee, Gai, Shizune, Jiraiya, Tsunade, who is sitting at her desk, and Naruto, who is in his combo Green/Blue Lantern uniform, in front of everyone. After Sakura had been freed from the Red Lantern ring, Naruto used the Blue Lantern ring to take out the flames after he had brought Sakura to the hospital, where she is recovering. Naruto then explained, through he let the two rings do more of the explanation, thanks to the `slight' connected back to the DC universe, about their origins and whatnot with Naruto filling in on how he got them.

 

When he, along with his rings, are done with the explanation, Kakashi says, amazed, “I must admit that this is incredible. Rings that harness the power of emotions of living beings into `tools' that can practically do anything.”

 

Tenten says, with a nod, “You should have seen Naruto in action with the Green one, Kakashi-sensei. He took out those bandits without too much trouble.”

 

Neji says, with a plain tone, “You are correct, Tenten. However, they were expecting such a thing, but then again, neither were any of us.”

 

Yamato looks at the rings and he asks, with a plain tone, “So, the green ring uses willpower as an energy source while the blue one uses hope, right?”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “That's right, Yamato-sensei! The thing is that the blue one can't use its full awesome powers unless there is one green one nearby.”

 

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “I'm not surprised at your good luck, brat.”

 

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “I don't think that it is luck. In the explanation, only a person who can overcome incredible fear can use that ring. Naruto barely knows the word `fear' and he has more energy AKA willpower to be dozens of ninja and the amount of hope and dreams that Naruto has could fill quite a couple of buildings.”

 

Kiba says, with a sly smirk, “That's Naruto in a nutshell.”

 

Tsunade tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “Naruto, I'm disappointed that you kept this bit of information and those rings from me. I can understand your reasons including a certain council that I won't mention by name in here. But from what these `power rings' told you, the reality that they came from barely survived a universe-ending event and that `event' ripped holes in the fabric of time and space bring many of rings just like the two that you have into our reality and who knows how many others. Some of these rings are helpful while some can be dangerous especially with what we saw happen to Sakura when she got `possessed' by that Red Lantern ring.”

 

Hinata asks, concerned, “How is she, Lady Hokage?”

 

Shizune says, with a smile, “Naruto used that Blue Lantern to perform things that only Lady Tsunade could do. Sakura is expected to make a full recovery and she is resting in the hospital.”

 

Neji says, with a plain tone, “Physically, she will be all right. Her mental state is what I'm worried out. Even through the time of her `possession' by the Red Lantern ring wasn't too much, she did plenty of damage to the village in her `condition'. That and any aftereffects could leave Sakura quite scarred emotionally and mentally.”

 

Ino says, with a smile, “Sakura is a fighter, everyone! That girl won't let something like this get her down!”

 

Lee says, with a smile, “I agree with Ino-chan here! Sakura-chan won't let the sinister flames of rage to temper down her flames of youth!”

 

Tenten thinks in her mind, annoyed, “When is Lee going to cut it out with that? But then again, he is Gai-sensei's `prized student' and protégé after all.”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “And I'm afraid what happened to Sakura was just the beginning. Who knows how many rings have come into our world? And who knows how many other realities that they have gotten to? I believe that this is a start of a war where those rings, this `emotional light spectrum', and these `Lantern Corps' will play an important part of our future. And right now, we need to find out more. Imagine of one of the Akatsuki got their hands on one of those rings.”

 

Ino says, nervously, “I rather not, Lady Hokage! Those jerks that killed Asuma-sensei are bad enough, but with those kind of rings on their fingers is something beyond imagining!”

 

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “I think that we don't need to worry about four of the rings namely the green, blue, indigo, and violet rings. These `Guardians' that built the green rings wanted to make sure that they are used for good and those rings are programmed to seek out only good people and the same with the blue rings. The indigo and violet rings are `positive emotions' and even those `Star Sapphires' are wild cards, they won't be recruiting `bad people' into their ranks unless they do that `reforming' that green ring told us about. It is the red, orange, and yellow rings that we need to worry about. Fear, greed, and rage are usually negative emotions and we've seen what those red rings do to people which is not good, but those Akatsuki are spreading fear across the land and it is obvious that most likely those yellow rings will be attracted to them like moths to flames. And plenty of them have greedy intentions of their own and we can be assured that Orange Lantern, if it is here, might also be coming to them.”

 

Choji asks, curiously, “What about those nasty red rings?”

 

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “They don't seem like the `revenge on the world' type through we can't rule that out, but Sasuke is another story.”

 

Shizune says, with a nod, “With his anger and rage towards his brother, he will be sure to attract the same ring that possessed Sakura-chan.”

 

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “And his `quest' for power to destroy his brother and like his brother, even through Sasuke may not like to admit, he can spread fear to other people with his attitude. He is a sure `lure' for any of those three rings with energy coming from `negative emotions' like those.”

 

Tsunade says, looking at Naruto, “And that's why you are our best defense Naruto. Using that green power ring puts someone on par with the yellow rings if someone conquers great fear which you have proven to do and have incredible willpower, but it looks like only a green and blue power ring together can take care of a red ring as well as that blue ring can drain yellow rings of energy as well as negate orange ring energies based on the information that your green ring gave us.”

 

Shikamaru asks, with a plain tone, “There is also one other thing to consider: If these rings can get here, what about the people that originally welded them?”

 

Kiba says, seriously, “You've got a point, Shikamaru! What if people like that Sinestro creep start to creep around here? Our world isn't ready for enemies like him!”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “That's another good point, Shikamaru. We need to start developing plans of action, but the council and the village can't know about this. If they find out that there are `weapons' that don't use chakra and can do just about anything that the welder wants them to, they would be in a panic. Until we can find countermeasures against this threat, we need to keep this low key.”

 

Ino asks, nervously, “How do we do that after this incident? Someone has bound to see Naruto using those rings or Sakura while she was on the rampage under the control of that red ring. How can we keep this from the council and village?”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “I already took care of that. I found that not many villagers saw what happened and they were too much in a panic from the flames and energy beams. The ninja that did see Sakura, Naruto, or both of them have already been found and put under an oath to secrecy.”

 

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “Nice work, Tsunade. We already have enough problems to deal with including the Akatsuki. The village would be in chaos with this kind of information including a very possible invasion from people that don't even come from our reality and welding rings that can do what Naruto's two rings can do.”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “Not to mention certain people, not mentioning someone that I know by name, would really want `weapons' like these.”

 

Kakashi asks, plainly, “You mean Danzo, Lady Hokage?”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “You hit the nail right on the head, Kakashi, but I have got a bad feeling that he already knows.”

 

(Elsewhere within the Leaf Village; on the meanwhile)

 

Joining Danzo in his secret liar within the Leaf Village, members of his ROOT organization are giving reports about what they found out about the `incident' earlier today.

 

Danzo says, very interested tone, “The Kyuubi container has gained strange rings with incredible power? And from what I heard that these rings don't run on chakra at all.”

 

One of the ROOT member replies, with a plain tone, “That's correct, Danzo-sama. We found that one that Sakura Haruno had on `altered' her mental capabilities down to the level of a raging animal, but it was on par with the rings that Naruto Uzumaki have in his possession. From what we managed to gather, these rings seem to run on some kind of emotion. From what we observed, the blue ring asked Naruto about his hopes and when he gave a favorable reply, the ring chooses him to weld its strength.”

 

Danzo then says, curiously, “Emotion based `weapons'? This is indeed interesting. Rings of incredible strength that run on the emotions of living beings and it might be possible that they run on the emotions of living beings. These rings would be powerful, maybe even the ultimate weapons. Naruto Uzumaki seems to have the most incredible of luck in his life. If that fool, Sarutobi, didn't stop me, the boy would mine to command.”

 

The ROOT member asks, curiously, “What shall we do Danzo-sama?”

 

Danzo says, with a serious tone, “We need to know as much as we can about those rings and we need to keep Naruto Uzumaki under strict surveillance especially when he uses those rings.”

 

The ROOT member bows and replies, “Of course, Danzo-sama, we will get to it at once.”

 

(Returning to the DC universe; Sometime later on)

 

Within the DC universe, we find our four Green Lanterns from Earth inside of a Justice League spacecraft with Superman, Supergirl, and Steel inside as they head for somewhere deep in outer space.

 

Hal tells Superman, “We are glad that you can come Superman.”

 

Superman says, with a nod, “The world is still recovering from the whole `Blackest Night' affair.”

 

Supergirl says, with a shutter, “The world isn't the only thing that's recovery. Seeing all those people coming back from the grave really got me spooked. Power Girl is really disturbed seeing her cousin back from the dead in that way too.”

 

Steel says, with a plain tone, “That's totally understandable, Kara.”

 

Guy says, with a serious tone, “I don't get why we need to drag the big blue boy scout, his cousin, and Steel along for this! We can handle this ourselves!”

 

John asks, with a plain tone, “Do you know how to open an interdimension gateway Guy?”

 

Guy says, with a snort, “I don't… right now!”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “We'll need Steel technical expertise to open the gateway into that reality where we detected one of the `lost rings' choosing a new welder.”

 

Kyle tells Hal, “But didn't Ganthet tell us that Sayd informed him that same `new Green Lantern' also has harness one of the Blue Lantern rings as well?”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “He did Kyle. And it is hard to believe that someone is of two Lantern Corps of the same type. I had one Blue Lantern ring, but I wasn't compatible with it. I was only part of the Blue Lanterns, as a Green Lantern, in order to give them the strength that they need to aid us in that whole `Blackest Night'.”

 

Superman says, with a plain tone, “You told me about the Blue Lanterns and they weld the emotion of hope right.”

 

Kyle says, with a nod, “That's right, Superman. Ganthet made them to be support for our Corps and their rings can do incredible things including enhancing our own rings. However, their rings can only do basic things like aura projection and flight without a Green Lantern around for support.”

 

Supergirl says, with a plain tone, “And since this guy has a Green and Blue ring, he can do plenty of incredible things.”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “We will have to see about that Supergirl. Even through the Green Lantern Corps is in disarray, you don't get to be a Lantern just by the ring alone.”

 

Supergirl asks, with a sly grin, “That's funny, Mister Big Shot. Did that just happen to you and you busted Sinestro's butt to be a Lantern?” Hal gives a serious glare at Supergirl and Superman sighs at his cousin's antics as the group of DC heroes continue on to head to a certain reality to find the newest Green Lantern.

 

(The planet Zamaron; around the meanwhile)

 

On the planet Zamaron, home of the Star Sapphire Corps, who use the violet light which is love's `emotional color' in the emotional light spectrum, we find a familiar female Star Sapphire heading to have an audience with the leader of the Zamaron people and the Star Sapphires, Queen Aga'po, and this Star Sapphire looks to be a Earth female with long black hair. It is none other than Hal Jordan's `former' lover, Carol Farris, who joined the Star Sapphires because she believed that the `War of Light' and `Blackest Night' could end her beloved Hal Jordan and she can protect him as a Star Sapphire. Why is she still a Star Sapphire if the `Blackest Night' is over? Lately, she has been giving visions of the `Spectrum War' and she believes that Hal Jordan's life is under threat unless she stays as a Star Sapphire. Plus, when she learned the complete truth about Hal Jordan's time as Parallax or possessed by the sinister creature of fear in which Sinestro was responsible for what happened to Hal because of Parallax, it became further incentive to remain the `field leader' of all Star Sapphires since she believes that even through Hal beat Sinestro in combat before, his Corps, under Sinestro, will kill Hal Jordan or this is what Carol has been led to believe.

 

Right now, we find Carol, in her Star Sapphire uniform, in front of Queen Aga'po and she asks, “You asked for me, your majesty?”

 

Queen Aga'po says, with a nod, “We have Carol. As you already know, many of our fellow Star Sapphires were lost during the `Blackest Night'. The arrogance of the Guardians allowing them to be deceived by one of their own and their attempts to suppress emotions have led to the current chaos in our universe. The fabric of time and space has been ruptured and gateways to other universes and realities have been opened.”

 

Carol asks, curiously, “Other universes?”

 

Queen Aga'po says, with a nod, “We believed that there were fifty-two alternate realities, but the multi-verse is vast and there are infinite number of universes. The war against the `Blackest Night' cause portal to these realities to be opened and many of our rings and all of the rings of the other Lantern Corps has been sent into the alternate realities. We are replacing those rings and bringing in new replacement to continue our quest to make sure that love in the universe shines brightly, but that quest may be for nothing. It is as we have seen. You have been visions of a `war' like the one that we just fought across vast realities, correct, Carol?” Carol's eyes widen to Queen Aga'po's words and she says, “It is the war to come Carol. Even through we have survived the `Blackest Night', the `Spectrum Wars' have begun. It is the `War of Light' on a vast level with various other realities being the battlefield and the energies of the `emotion spectrum' coming out. Your beloved, Hal Jordan, shall play a vital role in this war to come, but he will not survive to fulfill if you are not here to ensure his survival.”

 

Carol says, with a determined tone, “Don't worry, Queen Aga'po, I will not abandon my post.” Carol thinks in her mind, “I will protect Hal with my life.”

 

Queen Aga'po tells Carol, with a smile, “I know that you won't. You have done well in the `Blackest Night' and I have a duty for you, Star Sapphire Carol Farris. We have discovered one of the new realities and our `lost rings' shall bring in new members. We will need to expand in order to protect and ensure love is spread across the whole multi-verse. We are preparing to send you to find those that our rings have chosen in this `new world'. We should also inform you that your beloved Green Lantern is going there for a similar purpose.”

 

Carol's eyes widen and she asks, “Hal?”

 

Queen Aga'po nods her head and she says, with a nod, “That's correct. Hal Jordan and his fellow Green Lanterns from Earth with three heroes from your home world are preparing to enter the gateway to go into this new reality. This new world is unfamiliar to him and his life may be in danger. We are not sure, but we also believe that the one that allowed Parallax to possess your beloved before is there.”

 

Carol's eyes narrow into a glare and she asks, seriously, “Sinestro, Queen Aga'po?”

 

Queen Aga'po says, with a nod, “We believe so, Carol Farris. He is a threat to love trying to spread fear across all realities. As long as he is allowed to do this, he is a threat to all love and to your beloved, Carol Farris. If you see him, you are allowed to do what it takes to stop him.”

 

Carol says, with a bow, “I understand, your majesty. I shall leave right away.” Carol turns away and she thinks in her mind, determinedly, “Sinestro, I can never forgive you for what you did to Hal. It was your fault that creature, Parallax, possessed him and you caused him all the pain and misery as well as my misery when Hal left my life. I'll make sure that you will never harm Hal again or hurt anyone else like you did Hal and me.” Carol's eyes give off a slight violet glow along with her Star Sapphire power ring.

 

When Carol has left the room, Queen Aga'po says to one of her attendants, “Carol Farris has proven that humans are among the best Lanterns and they are among one of the best to keep love burning bright since it is at the very core of their being. She is truly the best of the Star Sapphires like her beloved, Hal Jordan, is the greatest of the Green Lanterns.”

 

Queen Aga'po's attendant says, with a nod, “I agree, your majesty. She is truly our greatest messenger of love.”

 

Queen Aga'po says, with a smile, “There is something else. It is about Hal Jordan. He is different from the other Lanterns. Out of all Lanterns, he has experienced nearly all emotions in the `emotional spectrum'. He is a welder of willpower and at a time, a welder of hope. He has experienced and at a time, welded, fear as well as rage. He has also experienced greed and compassion as well.”

 

Queen Aga'po's attendant asks, curiously, “What are you saying my queen?”

 

Queen Aga'po says, with a smile, “We must ensure that Hal Jordan and Carol Farris become one and stay one for all eternity. I believe that it will ensure that love is preserved and spread throughout all worlds. I know that through them love shall truly conquer all.”

 

(Returning back to Naruto's universe; Days later)

 

Back in the realm of the ninja, we find ourselves within one of the training areas where we find Naruto, in his cross Green/Blue Lantern uniform, still cross-legged like in mediation, with a Green Lantern Battery nearby and an annoyed look on his face. Watching him is none other than Jiraiya and Yamato with serious glares on their faces.

 

Naruto says, annoyed, “I feel really dumb and my feet are falling asleep.”

 

Jiraiya says, with an annoyed tone, “Get used to it, brat. Since these rings use emotional based energy, we are going to need to learn to focus, even in the most stressful conditions, to use those rings at their greatest potential especially the blue one from what information that you gathered from those rings of yours.”

 

Yamato says, with a plain tone, “Mediation is a good way to focus one's emotions, Naruto. This could be the best way for you to learn to harness the full strength of those rings.”

 

Naruto says, with a sigh, “Whatever, Yamato-sensei.” Naruto then closes his eyes and tries to go into some kind of meditative state. After awhile, nothing happens, but then his two rings glow along with the Green Lantern battery in which Naruto is surrounded by a mix blue and green aura in which he floats up into the air and hovers just above the ground along with his Green Lantern battery. What Jiraiya and Yamato didn't know is that under his shirt, the seal on his stomach appeared and blue and green energy is going into it.

 

(Within Naruto's mind; around the same time)

 

Inside of the sewer that's Naruto's mind, we find him, in his mixed Lantern uniform, standing in the water as blue and green energy flow through the walls and towards the cage that keeps the Nine-Tailed Fox within him trapped.

 

Kyuubi asks Naruto, annoyed, “What are you think you are doing kit?”

 

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “Beats me, you overgrown fox. I'm as confused as you are.” Just then the blue and green energies hit the cage and they glow for a few seconds. Naruto says, curiously, “If that blue ring can do even more than those green rings, I wonder…”

 

Kyuubi yells out, annoyed and not liking where this is going, “What do you mean by that? What are you are going to do?”

 

Naruto says, with a sly grin, “You sound afraid, foxy. I think that you should be. Ever since I heard what happened with Sakura-chan, I hoped for a chance to make sure that you don't get out of control and I know I have a way to keep you in your cage.” Naruto then goes over to the cage and closes his eyes in which blue energy goes into the cage bars in which they glow causing them along with the paper with the kanji for `seal' marked on it to glow blue as well as grow stronger.

 

Kyuubi calls out, in a panic, “You can't do this to me, kit! YOU NEED ME, KIT! I WON'T BE ALLOWED TO BE SEALED AWAY!!!” Kyuubi then bangs the bars in a panic and it yelps out in pain as the blue energy causing red chakra to be thrown from his body.

 

Just then blue ring's voice calls out in Naruto's mind, “Warning. Unknown entity infected by rage energy.”

 

Naruto's eyes open and widen and he yells out, curiously, “Hold on there, ring! You mean that this fox is infected with the same rage energy that Sakura-chan was infected with?”

 

The blue ring's voice calls out in the hallways of Naruto's mind, “Correct, Lantern Naruto Uzumaki. Entity is infected by energy of rage of the emotional spectrum.”

 

Naruto asks, curiously, “How?”

 

The blue ring's voice replies, “Unknown. Source of corruption not made by Red Lantern ring.”

 

Kyuubi yells out, annoyed, “That piece of jewelry doesn't know what it is talking about!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I think otherwise, you overgrown fur coat. And I think that it is time that you see the light, fox!” Naruto then closes his eyes as he focuses his hope and dreams and willpower in which his `body' gives off powerful green and blue glows causing the Kyuubi to cry out in pain and agony as red energy, but not chakra, is thrown from its body. After several minutes, Naruto's body stops glow and he looks into the cage in which he is shocked to see what or who is in front of him.

 

Right in place of the huge fox, there is a beautiful woman with orange-red fox ears instead of human, long flowing orange-red hair that goes down to her buttocks behind her back, lovely yellow fox-like eyes, gorgeous scarlet red lips, and she is wearing a tight-fitting pink and red kimono that hugs every curve and line of her body which hides a huge and perfectly proportion double H-cup cleavage. Plus, she has nine orange-red fox tails coming out of her tailbone area behind her back.

 

The woman says, in a female version of Kyuubi's voice, “At long last, I'm free of that curse that piece of Uchiha trash put on me!”

 

Naruto yells out, stunned, “Whoa, mama! The Kyuubi is a girl?!”

 

The woman asks, annoyed, “Of course, I am a woman! It is just like you, human males, to think that I'm one of you! Is it so hard to believe that the greatest of all Biju is a female?!”

 

Naruto says, with a nervous tone, “Sorry about that. You sound like a guy when you are that big fox form. I can't believe that a demon like you is a girl.”

 

Kyuubi says, with a snort, “For your information, I am not a demon! I'm a kitsune, a fox spirit. And my name isn't Kyuubi. It is my title since I am the Nine-Tailed Fox. My real name is Chizuru.”

 

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “If you aren't a demon, then why do you do what you do?”

 

Kyuubi AKA Chizuru replies, annoyed, “It's my job, kit! It was given to me when I claimed the title as the Kyuubi! When humanity has gained such malice and other negative emotions that could throw off the balance of life, it is my job to ensure that chaos is never given a chance to `take off' and throw off the balance of life! What would rather have, Kit? A bunch of humans destroying the very balance of life and get rid of a small portion of all humanity to save the rest and the world that you live in?”

 

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “I wouldn't have any especially if any innocent people are hurt or killed.”

 

Chizuru says, shaking her head, “You are so naïve, kit!” Chizuru says, with a sly smile, “Maybe that's why you are so cute.”

 

Naruto yelps out nervously and he says, nervously, “Don't get any ideas.”

 

Chizuru says, slyly, “It's too late, kit! I just thought about getting you in-between my legs.”

 

Naruto says, nervously, “A perverted female fox? This is just great. I think that I liked you better when you were wanted to slit my throat and taking control of my body.”

 

Chizuru says, with a sigh, “You healed me, kit. You are going to have to get used to it. Anyway, you had better restore the seal. Even through I'm free from this curse, my chakra is still not good for your human body and I want to live as long as possible.” Naruto then closes his eyes and his body surges of blue energy in which the cage that the Nine-Tailed Fox is in is restored and looks like new. Chizuru says, with a sly grin, “Don't think that I want to be stuck in you forever, kit. I'm going to find my way out, but don't worry, I don't want to crush your village now.” Chizuru says, with a deadly glare, “I want to smash that piece of scum that trapped me in here! When I get my hands on Madara Uchiha, I will make sure that he feels a woman's fury as I rip off his balls in the most painful way possible!”

 

Naruto winches and he asks, curiously, “Madara Uchiha?”

 

Chizuru says, with a snort, “He is the rotten asshole that controlled me with his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan and had me fight the First Hokage at the Valley of Ends as well as using me to attack the Hidden Leaf Village on the day that you were born.”

 

Naruto yells out, perplexed, “Wait a minute, here, fox! You mean that someone controlled you to attack the village?”

 

Chizuru says, with a plain tone, “No duh, kit! Madara Uchiha used his Sharingan to control me to attack your village. Madara hates your village and used me to try to get revenge. The Fourth Hokage knew this all too well and he sealed me inside of you to ensure that Madara never got control of me, again. However, even through I was freed from his control, Madara infected me with his chakra in order to put in a `berserker state' to make me easier to control. It is the very reason that I despise the Sharingan as you remember from our meeting with your former friend, Sasuke Uchiha.”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “I do remember you mentioning this `Madara Uchiha' to Sasuke-teme. If he fought the First Hokage, then he must be really old or dead by now.”

 

Chizuru replies, with a plain tone, “Don't count on it, kit! He found a way to stay in this mortal world and his Sharingan is part of the reason why. Since that ring said that the energy of the `berserker curse' was similar to the Red Lantern energy, it makes me wonder if the Uchiha harness this `emotional light spectrum' before. I know that the Sharingan is a mutated form of the Byakugan, but I heard that it was created by some kind of demonic or spiritual force.”

 

Naruto asks, curiously, “You mean that something like you helped create the Sharingan?”

 

Chizuru says, with a plain tone, “I heard so, kit. Since the `emotional light spectrum' involves the emotions of life, it is obvious that we have that here and it is a part of any reality. It seems like some are more able to harness than others. Anyway, I'm tried and want to get some rest. Before you go, however, I think that you should use your rings on unlocking your two bloodlines.”

 

Naruto yells out, shocked, “Bloodlines?! I have bloodlines?!”

 

Chizuru says, with a nod, “You have got two of them, kit! They were sealed along with me for some reason. I do recognize one of them and it belonged to the Uzumaki clan. It is the Rinnegan and you will need to speak to that Hokage and perverted teacher of yours to find out more. The other is the `Celestial Embodiment' Kekkai Genkai and it is most powerful of all bloodlines. It allows you to gain the other techniques, jutsu, and even other bloodlines of other ninja by getting a sample of their DNA through any means. You absorb it through your skin and you have all of the jutsu, abilities, and bloodlines, if the ninja that you took the DNA from has one, of the ninja that you took it from.”

 

Naruto yells out, amazed, “Two bloodlines and one of them is THAT powerful?! This is so cool! Believe it!”

 

Chizuru says, with a yawn, “Anyway, you need to figure out the rest. I'm going to take a nap and dream about having you in-between my legs.”

 

Naruto says, annoyed, “Perverted fox.”

 

Chizuru replies, with a sly seductive tone, “And I'm quite proud of it, kit! You should know that us, kitsune, are `playful' in that manner and if you need someone like me to keep you `warm', you know where to find me.”

 

Naruto gives a `gagging' motion with his mouth and he yells out, “Okay, I'm so unlocking my bloodlines and getting out of here!” Naruto then closes his eyes and he is engulfed in a green and blue glow as the glow fill the corners of his mind.

 

(Back in the `Real World'; a short time afterwards)

 

Returning to the `physical world', Naruto's glow stops as he floats back down to the ground and he returns back into his normal clothing in which Jiraiya and Yamato go up to him.

 

Yamato asks, curiously, “Naruto, are you okay?”

 

Naruto opens his eyes to reveal his eyes becoming grayish-purple with six rings around the pupil and he says, with his foxy grin, “I'm feeling really great Yamato-sensei!”

 

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, stunned, “Naruto?! Your eyes!” Jiraiya thinks in his mind, “He has the Rinnegan too?! Could Naruto be the one and not Nagato all along?!”

 

Naruto closes his eyes and when he reopens his eyes, again, they are back to normal and he asks, “Yamato-sensei, you don't mind asking Granny Tsunade to set up a private meeting?”

 

Yamato asks, curiously, “Why do you want to do that?”

 

Naruto replies, with a plain tone, “I need to ask her about something.”

 

(Inside of Tsunade's office; Sometime later)

 

Within Tsunade's office, we find Sakura Haruno facing her teacher with a solemn look on her expression as Tsunade reads the papers on Sakura's recovery.

 

Tsunade says, with a smile, “It looks like you will make a full recovery Sakura.” Before Sakura could respond, Naruto enters the room with Yamato and Jiraiya.

When he spots Sakura, Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Sakura-chan, you're okay!”

 

Sakura thinks in her mind, solemnly, “How can Naruto be so nice to me after what I just did? I'm surprised that I'm not thrown in jail and stripped of my ninja rank for good.”

 

Naruto asks Sakura, seeing her solemn expression, “Sakura-chan, what's wrong?”

 

Tsunade says, nervously, “Sakura remembers what happened on THAT day, Naruto.”

 

Naruto tells Sakura, “Sakura-chan, it wasn't your fault! Didn't Granny Tsunade here tell you about these rings especially that red one that took control of you?”

 

Sakura says, with a solemn tone, “Tsunade-sensei told me about those rings and where they come, but it is just so hard. I let my anger and fury get the better of me to allow that stupid red ring to `possess' me and turn into a `monster'. I would have wiped out the village and I attacked you without mercy. And you risked everything to save me.”

Naruto says, with his wide smile, “I sure did, Sakura-chan! I really care about you, Sakura-chan!” Sakura can't help to get a small blush on her cheeks from his comment and a small warm feeling that she can't explain.

 

Tsunade asks Naruto, “By the way, Naruto, what are you doing here?”

 

Naruto asks, curiously, “Do you know anything about a Madara Uchiha?”

 

Tsunade asks, very curious in her expression, “Why do you ask Naruto?” Naruto then explains about what he did with his seal containing the Nine-Tailed Fox and whatnot. When he was done, Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “Madara Uchiha is supposed to be dead. His records were mainly destroyed since his betrayal of the Hidden Leaf Village and my grandfather. I'm not sure how he can be alive, but there are hidden secrets to the Sharingan that we don't know about through I can't believe that immortality is one of them.”

 

Sakura asks, curiously, “How did the Fourth Hokage know about him?”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “I'm not sure, Sakura-chan. However, if he believed that the attack on the village by the Kyuubi was caused by Madara, then I'm not one to doubt him. It might be possible that Madara has something to do with the Akatsuki, but we can't get into that right now.” Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “I'm glad that you are here because I'm sending you out to support Kakashi and Team 10 against the two Akatsuki members that were involved in the death of Asuma.”

 

Yamato asks Sakura, “Do you think that you will be up for this?”

 

Sakura says, with a sigh, “I'm not really sure Yamato-sensei, but I'm not going to sit around and mop on the past!”

 

Naruto says, excitedly, “Don't worry, Sakura-chan! Let's kick those Akatsuki jerks' butts!”

 

Sakura can't help to smile, but she thinks, seriously, “Naruto has been risking his life for me and to get back Sasuke to the village. I can't just sit here and let him be in danger! Those Akatsuki jerks are out for him and I'm not going to lose either of them! I'm going to protect them both: Sasuke and especially Naruto.”

 

(Returning to the DC universe; on the meanwhile)

 

Back in the reality of the DC heroes and heroines, we find the ship that contains Supergirl, her cousin, Superman, Steel, and our four Earth Green Lanterns creating some kind of portal with a device in front of the spaceship that's shoot a beam that's creating a stable portal.

 

Steel says, with a plain tone, “This is it everyone. However, I would like it with Hal, Kyle, Guy, and John make a force-field. I can't assure a completely stable ride. This is my first time creating interdimension gateways into realities beyond the ones that we know and have seen.”

 

Superman says, with a nod, “We understand, John. And we are thankful for you help, but are you sure that your daughter can be left alone? Remember, Luthor's exo-gene therapy left some side effects.”

 

Steel says, with a smile, “She is a big girl, Superman.” Soon after, the four Earth Green Lanterns start to make a shield for the ship in which when the portal is made, the ship goes right inside, but they don't notice a certain Star Sapphire following them in which she goes into the portal before it closes on her.

 

(Back in Naruto's universe; much time later)

 

Right now, we find Naruto Uzumaki, in his mixed Lantern uniform, creating his Wind Style: Rasen-Shuriken with his two Shadow Clones, but he then gets rid of the Shadow Clones in which he uses his ring to surround his Rasen-Shuriken in which he lifts it into the sky and throws right at his opponent, who is the Akatsuki Hidan, but he manages to dodge the attack.

 

Hidan says, with a sly tone, “Nice trick, kid, but it isn't going to work on me.”

 

Naruto says, with a foxy smirk, “You want to bet on that jerk? I think that you should take another look.” Just then Hidan hears something and he looks to see the willpower energy encased wind chakra attack heading right for him again. Hidan then prepares to dodge again, but then Naruto creates shackles with his Green Lantern ring that bind Hidan to the ground and he can't escape as the attack plows into him with a huge explosion causing Hidan to cry out in extreme pain as he is ripped apart by the powerful wind chakra. When the attack dies down, everyone looks to see Hidan torn apart by the attack.

 

Kakashi tells Naruto, with a smile under his mask, “Excellent work, Naruto. You used the ring to keep the jutsu stable since you were having problems before with stability and you had to use it as a melee move.”

 

Choji says, amazed, “That jutsu really torn that Akatsuki jerk apart.”

 

Ino thinks in her mind, “Naruto has really gotten used to those rings on his finger and he has come up combining those rings with his own chakra abilities. This was the same Naruto that was a complete failure and goofball of the Academy! But now, Naruto is battling S-rank criminals and beating them!”

 

Yamato says, with a smile, “All that elemental training and that training with that ring paid off.”

 

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Believe it, Yamato-sensei!”

 

Kakashi thinks in his mind, “Naruto is becoming stronger and stronger and he has gained a jutsu that not even his father ever created. He has truly exceeded you, Minato-sensei. You would be truly proud of your son.” Kakashi thinks in his mind, seriously, “However, I do fear that this `War of Light' shall become part of our world soon enough. I have a bad feeling that things and people even worse than the Akatsuki shall be gunning for Naruto soon enough. It makes me wonder if more than those rings are coming through to our world.”

 

(Elsewhere within the ninja realm; Sometime soon afterwards)

 

In another part of the ninja realm, we find our DC superheroes assembled some distance from their ship and discussing their next plan of action.

 

Steel says, with a plain tone, “Based on what we scanned, this world is similar to Earth in many ways, but it looks like that this area in similar to Japan back in the Feudal Days. However, they have modern technologies that we have including stoves, motion pictures AKA movies, refrigeration, and then some. However, it looks like they don't have modern weapons like we do.”

 

John says, with a serious tone, “But they make up with it. It looks like these people have the ability to harness their own internal energy. In my days in the Marine Corps, I studied about other cultures including Japanese and Asian cultures. Asians call a person's internal energies, which is a combination of spiritual and physical energies, by the name of chakra which they do the same. From our scans and our scouts, these people can harness their own internal energy, increase it, and use it to perform what people in our world call `super-human feats'.”

 

Supergirl asks, curiously, “Everyone, here, has super-powers?”

 

Steel says, with a plain tone, “Not exactly, Kara. It seems like people that call themselves, ninja, which back at home, are ancient Japanese warriors of the shadows, who can perform these `feats'. They are lethal warriors of the night who use sheath and surprise to defeat and usually, kill, their enemies.”

 

Superman says, with a serious tone, “We had better be careful then. We don't know anything about this place and Kara, even through they have a yellow sun like back at home to keep our powers at full strength, our abilities might not be enough. We're not sure what these `chakra attacks' can do to us, so, it is best that we try to avoid conflict as much as possible.”

 

Just then a voice calls out, plainly, “You might want to avoid trouble, but you might have found it stranger.” Our heroes and heroine look to see a group of bandits dropping down from the trees.

 

Guy says, with a sly grin and snort, “It looks like that this place isn't too different from back at home after all everyone. They have trash problems the same as we do.”

 

The bandit leader says, with a sinister sly tone, “You might want to watch your mouth. We are elite wanted criminals in three countries and there are plenty of reason while we A-class in the `Bingo book'. I don't know who you strangely dressed people are, but if you want to get out of here, alive, I suggest that you give us your valuables especially those nice rings. The alternative isn't to your liking.”

 

Kyle says, with a smile, “You want our rings, buster? You got them, bud!” Kyle then uses his power ring to easily restrain the bandits and put them high into the air.

 

Supergirl asks, with a wide grin, “Still want to take us on jerk?!”

 

John says, with a plain tone, “Easy, Kara. We have to bring them into the local authorities.”

 

One of the bandits yell out, “It is just like that yellow ring, boss!”

 

Hal asks, curiously, “A yellow ring?”

 

Guy yells out, flying up to them, “Where did you see this yellow ring? You had better start talking or we are going to do this our `hard way'!”

 

The bandit calls out, “We saw a strange person wearing a strange yellow and black uniform with a yellow ring that can do the things that yours did. He destroyed a small village and he had pointed ears and deep red skin.”

 

Hal's eyes narrow and he says, plainly, “Sinestro! I can't believe he's here!”

 

Steel asks, curiously, “What's someone like him doing here?”

 

John says, with a serious tone, “He must be here to get new recruits and take out whoever possesses one of our `lost rings'! Knowing him, he must have found about the new `Green Lantern' around here!”

 

Guy yells out, seriously, “Which way did he get to punk?!”

 

The bandit member motions in a direction and he yells out, “He went to the Hidden Leaf Village in that direction!”

 

Hal says, seriously, “We need to move everyone! If we don't find where Sinestro or find this new Green Lantern before he does, that person is doomed!” Hal then immediately takes off in the direction that the bandit points and the others fly off after him in which Kyle knocks the bandits out and ties them up with tree branches before heading off after his friends and/or allies.

 

(Back at the Leaf Village; Sometime later)

 

At the edge of the Leaf Village, we find our group of Leaf Ninja gasps in shock as smoke is coming from the village.

 

Ino yells out, stunned, “Not again! This is getting ridiculous!”

 

Naruto's Green Lantern ring calls out, “Warning! Sinestro Corps member within area! Yellow power ring detected!”

 

Sakura asks, curiously, “Sinestro Corps?”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “They are bad news, Sakura-chan! They were formed by this traitor who had this ring and felt that only order came through fear!”

 

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “In short, everyone: One major drag.”

 

Ino yells out, strongly, “This is serious Shikamaru! We have a major bad guy from another reality running wild in our village!”

 

Naruto calls out, with a serious tone, “Not for long everyone!” Naruto then changes into his combo Lantern uniform and races off into the distance towards the village in which the others follow after him as quickly as they can.

 

(Inside of the village; a brief time later)

 

Inside the center of the village, we find none other than the traitor of the Green Lantern Corps and founder of the Sinestro Corps as well as the bane of Hal Jordan's and the Earth Lantern's existence, Sinestro, in his Sinestro Corps uniform, facing off against Tsunade, Shizune, and a group of ANBU who are protecting Tsunade.

 

Sinestro says, with a serious glare, “My patience with you is growing thin. Where is the Green Lantern?”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “And we don't know what you are talking about buster!”

 

Sinestro says, with a sly smile, “Do you now `Hokage'? You are the leader of this village and you have never seen someone use a green ring like mine? I'm afraid that I don't trust you since I read that `ninja' are deceptive. I'll ask you where in the new Green Lantern of your world.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice yells out, “Right behind you jerk!” Sinestro turns around only to get hit by a green light projection of a huge fist that knocks him into a nearby building in which Naruto, in his Lantern uniform, touches down on the ground.

 

Shizune says, with a serious tone, “Naruto, he is very dangerous!”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “You don't know the half of it Shizune-chan!”

 

Just then Sinestro's voice booms out, “Indeed, boy!” Just then Naruto yelps as he is blasted in the chest and sent into the side of a building by Sinestro with his yellow power ring. Sinestro says, with a serious glare, “A child has gained of a Green Lantern ring? Not just that, but you have also two rings! They aren't play things, boy!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious glare, “Don't I know it, buster! And I know my way around them, so, just because you are some big bad villain, don't count me out! Believe it!” Naruto then uses his Green Lantern ring to blast out of Sinestro's energy ray and he launches shuriken created by his ring at Sinestro uses his ring to create a shield that the shuriken stick into, but they don't go through.

 

Sinestro says, with a plain tone, “Not bad, boy, but not good enough.”

 

Naruto says, with a sly grin, “You might want to change your tune, wise guy.” Sinestro then sees ninja explosive tags that Naruto created with his ring on the shuriken that he created and they explode with powerful force. Not wasting anytime, Naruto charges at Sinestro and lands two blows on him, but he uses his ring to create a hammer that knocks Naruto back.

 

Sinestro says, with a smile, “Impressive, boy. You have harness the strength of the ring and most likely, both of the rings through I believe that you are holding back using the blue ring.”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “Maybe I am Sinestro.”

 

Sinestro says, with a sinister smile, “You have heard of me? The ring must have told you.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “And I know that you are bad news. If you are looking for me, then that's fine with me. Leave the village and my friends out of it!”

 

Sinestro says, with a sly smile and plain tone, “They mean nothing to me, boy.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “The name is Naruto Uzumaki, Sinestro!”

 

Sinestro says, with a sinister smirk, “I shall remember when I put it on your tombstone, boy!” Sinestro creates a huge amount of battle weapons with his ring and launches them at Naruto in which he first dodges and then creates a shield to protect himself. However, Sinestro took this time to get within point-blank range and breaks through Naruto's shield with a powerful burst of energy from his ring sending Naruto airborne. Naruto manages to stop his ascent up, but he looks to see Sinestro preparing for another attack.

 

“Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

 

Just then Naruto creates dozens of Shadow Clones and they surround Sinestro which causes his eyes to widen in surprise.

 

However, his surprise fades away and he says, with a smirk, “Interesting trick, boy. You are able to create energy duplicates of yourself. However, I am prepared for such a situation!” Sinestro creates a powerful yellow aura around him and with one cry, he unleashes hundreds to thousands of yellow energy bullets that slam into all of the Naruto Shadow Clones and easily taking care of them in which the real Naruto is hit hard. Sinestro flies in fast and hits him hard with three vicious blows, but Naruto then grabs his arms and lands three blows to Sinestro's face in which he throws him away, but Sinestro easily recovers from the assault. Naruto creates four Shadow Clones and they charge at Sinestro, but Sinestro easily takes care of them. However, the real Naruto comes in with a familiar sphere of chakra in his right hand which is being enhanced by his Green Lantern ring. Sinestro creates a shield as Naruto slams the sphere into his shield.

 

“Rasengan!”

 

Naruto's sphere of chakra, enhanced by the energy of his Green Lantern ring, starts to crack Sinestro's shield and Naruto gives a cry that boosts the energy of the attack which causes Sinestro's shield to collapse and the sphere to slam into his chest causing him to cry out the pain as the attack rips into him causing him to be sent rocketing into the ground and through several buildings.

 

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Oh, yeah! You mess with the best and you smashed like all the rest! Believe it, buster!” But just then dozens of yellow chains fly out of the building that Sinestro was sent into and grab onto Naruto's wrists and ankles in which he cries as he is pulled down and slammed into the ground with terrific force in which his Green Lantern is the reason that he doesn't have serious injury. Naruto is dazed, but manages to enrage enough `sense' to see Sinestro, with a hole in his uniform where Naruto's attack hit with the rest of his uniform torn in place with blood coming out of his lip and nose, but otherwise, Sinestro isn't too badly injured before him.

 

Sinestro says, with a plain tone, “Impressive, boy. You have proven to be a tough opponent, but it only means more pain for you, boy.” Sinestro then ruthlessly starts to bash Naruto into buildings and the ground with his power ring really hard. He then lifts Naruto high into the air and slams him back into the ground so hard that he creates a small crater around his form causing Naruto to fall in and out of consciousness.

 

Naruto groans out in his mind, “Man! This guy is far tougher than he looks and he already look tough!”

 

Sinestro lifts high into the air and he says, with a plain tone, “I must congratulate you on an impressive fight, boy. You have proven to have what it takes to be a true Green Lantern even through you lack plenty of certain qualities, but your willpower is very strong. However, it means that I can't allow you to survive and I shall burn this village to the crowd to bring the true meaning of fear to this world. And from that fear, your world shall begin shall gain true order.”

 

Just then Naruto's friends and allies arrive on the scene and Sakura yells out, horrified, “Naruto!”

 

Sinestro says, with a sly grin, “They must be your friends, boy. Do not worry, I shall take of them soon enough.”

 

Just then a familiar voice calls out, strongly, “Wrong, Sinestro!” Sinestro looks only to receive a punch to the face by none other than Hal Jordan himself and sent flying into the air. When Sinestro stops his accent up, he finds the other Green Lanterns of Earth joining him.

 

Sinestro says, with a sly smile, “Hal, it has been awhile. I see that you have been well.”

 

Hal says, with a serious tone, “And you are up to your old tricks again, Sinestro.” On the meanwhile, Superman, Supergirl, and Steel use their abilities to put out the fires started by Sinestro's attack on the village and save civilians.

 

John asks, curiously, “Who did that?”

 

Sinestro says, pointing to Naruto, “The boy did this. I must admit that I underestimated him.”

 

Guy says, with a smirk, “You must be losing your touch to get clobbered by a kid!”

 

Sinestro says, with a wide smirk, “Don't you underestimate him, Gardner. The boy has incredible skill and he has mastered the power ring very well even through there was no one to touch him. He also harness the energy of the blue ring, but he is keeping back in case of emergency. He has the ability to become one of the strongest of the Green Lanterns. His willpower and potential are beyond what you can dream of.” While they were talking, Naruto's friends get to him and Naruto shakes his head to regain consciousness.

 

Sakura tells Naruto, a low voice, “I'll heal you, Naruto.”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “Don't worry, I've been working on this.” Naruto then focuses on his hope and dreams in which the blue ring sends energy to surround him in which he heals plenty of his energies caused by Sinestro's ruthless bashing.

 

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “They are wearing the same uniforms as you are, so, they must be those `Green Lanterns' that we heard about.”

 

Naruto says, with a nod, “That's them all right. Believe it, Shikamaru.”

 

Ino says, nervously, “We should leave this to them. This is there battle.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “No way, Ino-chan! He threatened our village and he threatened all of you! I'm not going to let him get away with that! Believe it!”

 

Kiba tells Naruto, seriously, “You are nuts, Naruto! From what that ring told us, he is a criminal in ranking with the Akatsuki!”

 

Naruto says, with a smirk, “That means if I can beat him, I can take on all of those jerks!” Naruto then use his green ring to get several smoke ball pellets and he yells out, launching them at Sinestro, “He is mud in your eye creep!”

 

Sinestro says, with a scoff, “Is that all you can do, boy? It is getting quite pathetic if you ask me.” Sinestro using his ring to take out the smoke bombs causing them to explode and unleash a ton of smoke. Sinestro says, with a snarl, “You mere tricks are getting annoying.” Sinestro blows the smoke away only to see two shuriken made of a familiar green energy heading towards him, but Sinestro easily dodges the attack with a smirk on his face. However, the two `shuriken' bursts into smoke revealing Naruto right behind him.

 

Naruto yells out, with a grin, “Surprise, you creep!” Naruto's right fist then gets charged with green energy and he yells out, “I don't care if you are from another world and you are a big bad creep from it! When you mess with my village, my friends, and threaten their lives and dream, you are going to get it by me personally! Believe it, jerk! In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight, let those who worship evil's might, beware of power… Green Lantern's Light!” Naruto then slams his now brightly glowing fist into Sinestro's chest and he screams out as he is blasted right out of the village by an extreme burst of willpower energy that sends him skyrocketing into the sky.

 

As his uniform gets torn apart along with himself, Sinestro gains a smirk and he yells out, “Well done, Naruto Uzumaki! I shall remember that name well when I come back to get my revenge for this! Until then, boy, enjoy your victory!” He then uses his power ring to teleport away back into the anti-matter universe in the DC reality.

 

In the aftermath, our four Earth Green Lanterns are amazed and Guy asks, stunned, “Did I just see what I thought that I just saw?”

 

John says, with a plain tone, “If you mean that this kid using our ring and a Blue Lantern ring as a support in order to blast Sinestro back into the anti-matter universe than you aren't the only one Guy.”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “He'll be back and he'll remember this defeat.” Hal looks at Naruto as he is breathing heavily over his victory against Sinestro and he thinks, “He might be just a teenager, but he used his ring really well. The amount of willpower that he must have is incredible.” Soon after, Naruto floats back down to the others while the four Green Lanterns follow down after him.

 

Kiba yells out, excitedly, “That was so awesome, Naruto! You sent him right to the moon and beyond!”

 

Hinata says, with a smile, “You were incredible, N-Naruto-kun.”

 

Naruto says, with a wide grin, “Thanks a lot Hinata-chan!” Hinata can't help to blush at this while Sakura smiles sadly at this.

 

Sakura thinks in her mind, “In the sidelines again Haruno. Naruto is getting stronger and stronger and risking his life while I stand around like a helpless dog.” Sakura looks at Naruto and she thinks, “He goes in leaps and bounds while I'm stick behind. But Naruto only uses his abilities to help others and he is such a good person. It makes me feel more guilty every for all that I did to him in the past. He does so much for the village and me and I don't give him anything in return.” On the meanwhile, Superman, Supergirl, and Steel arrive on the scene and joins up with the four Green Lanterns of Earth from the DC universe.

 

Choji says, with a serious tone, “Don't look now everyone, but we have got company.” Our ninja look towards the Green Lantern and their allies in which Tsunade comes up.

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “My name is Lady Tsunade and I am the leader of this village.”

 

Superman says, with a plain tone, “My name is Superman from Earth.”

 

Kiba whispers with a giggle, “Superman? What kind of name is that?”

 

Ino tells Kiba, annoyed, “Kiba, shut your can dog boy!”

 

Superman says, pointing to Supergirl and Steel, “This is my cousin, Supergirl, and my ally, Steel. As I obviously said, we are not from around here.”

 

Tsunade says, pointing to the four Green Lanterns, “And judging by your uniforms, you must four of those `Green Lanterns' that we heard about.”

 

Hal says, taking a leadership role, “We are, Lady Tsunade. I am Hal Jordan, Green Lantern of Sector 2814 which include my home world of Earth. These three are Kyle Rayner, John Stewart, and Guy Guarder and they are also Green Lanterns of my home world. However, I suspect you already know much about us since that young man has one of our rings.”

 

Tsunade says, with a nod, “That's true. We have gained a lot of information from that ring that found its way to Naruto's finger and he has learned to harness its abilities very well.”

 

Naruto asks, nervously, “I guess that you guys want it back, right?”

 

Kyle says, with a smile, “Don't be so sure, kid!”

 

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Kid?! I had enough of people calling me `kid' or `boy'! That rotten jerk called me that and you saw what I did to him!”

 

Sakura says, annoyed, “Naruto, keep it down! You are embarrassing yourself!”

 

Guy says, with a wide grin, “This kid has got a lot of spunk! I'm starting to like him!”

 

John says, with a grin, “You would like that Guy.”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “We have some important matters to discuss with you that concern you and your village, Lady Tsunade.”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “I understand, Hal-san. Follow me to my office.” Soon after, our heroes and heroine from the DC universe follow our group of ninja to the Hokage tower.

 

(A short time afterwards; Inside of the Hokage's tower)

 

Within Lady Tsunade's office, we find our DC heroes and heroine talking with Lady Tsunade along with Shizune, who is also in the room, discussing about the realities that they come from and the current situation that has come into place.

 

When they are done, Hal says, with a serious tone, “And that's our position. I'm not sure about this whole thing, but after `Blackest Night' and the mistakes that the Guardians made, I'm not willing to take a chance.”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “I would be surprised if you did take that chance. I have been thinking about this and you have just confirmed my fears that a war beyond anything that your reality or mine has seen is coming. When Naruto first got this ring, he kept it a secret and even through I was angry at him for it, he had good reasons. There are people that don't follow the `ideals' that I do and would want to use such power for terrible usage. Your rings can't be used in that manner, but I suspected that the red, orange, and yellow rings can do use in that fashion. Naruto trained to use the rings and harness their full strength since I believed that he would be our greatest defense and it looks like that I made a wise choice.”

 

Guy says, with a nod, “No joke, your ladyship! Sinestro isn't the kind of guy that you want to pussy foot around with through I'm surprised that a kid like that beat him the way that he did!”

 

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, “You have to understand that our culture, even through at peace, has at many times a fragile one at best. In order to maintain the balance of power, we need to have train our ninja from a young age. Our world is a harsh place and this life isn't one for the faint of heart.”

 

John says, with a plain tone, “We aren't here to judge your people or your culture and the rules of the Green Lantern Corps says that we must abide by the laws and customs of the worlds that we visit unless it is necessary to interfere.”

 

Supergirl says, with a low snort, “It doesn't mean that we have to like it by learning that you train kids to be killers.”

 

Superman says, sternly, “Kara!”

 

Steel says, with a plain tone, “Sorry about that your ladyship.”

 

Hal says, plainly, “You must understand that ring comes with a great reasonability, but it wouldn't have chosen Naruto Uzumaki if he didn't have the potential to weld its power wisely.”

 

Guy says, with a sly grin, “I think he proved that by clobbered Sinestro right to their moon.”

 

John says, with a plain tone, “Part of me thinks that was rookie luck since Sinestro didn't exactly know much about this world before he started causing trouble into it. However, I do agree that he looks like he might have what it takes.”

 

Kyle says, with a plain tone, “But it also like we were right. All of those rings from all of our Corps are spread into this world and who knows many others. And it looks like they are causing chaos here.”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “As you already know, the Red Lantern rings seek out person with great rage and anger in them and when it is on your finger, it takes control since rage is at the left from willpower in the emotional light spectrum. If you allow anger and rage to fill you when a Red Lantern ring is nearby, it will seek you out immediately. It was lucky that you had access to a Blue Lantern since only a combined Green Lantern ring and a Blue Lantern ring can destroy a Red Lantern ring.”

 

Tsunade says, with a nod, “Sakura Haruno was lucky that Naruto had retrieved that ring from the Hidden Star Village, but I also think that the red ring didn't have enough time to take fully control of her when Naruto saved Sakura from it.”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “That might be a possibility, but the Blue Lantern ring, where there is a Green Lantern to support it, is very powerful. I should know from experience.”

 

Tsunade asks, with a plain tone, “What do you intend to do now? Take the ring back or do intend to train Naruto as one of you?”

 

John says, with a plain tone, “That's not for us to say even with our Corps in the mess that it is. We're going to need to take Naruto to Oa for a formal evaluation and training.”

 

Just then everyone hears a door burst open and a familiar male voice yells out, “I can't leave just yet!” Everyone looks to see Naruto and all of his friends and allies come into the room. Naruto says, with a serious tone, “If I need to go to this place to train with this ring, it's fine by me, but I've still got a mission to perform here!”

 

Sakura thinks in her mind, “He is still thinking about rescuing Sasuke and bringing him back to the village.”

 

John says, with a plain tone, “Your leader told us about that `mission' of yours. It is about that Uchiha kid? The one that tried to kill you? I think that you are nuts and you have a greater responsibility!”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “To me, my friends are my responsibility!”

 

Guy tells Naruto, with a serious tone, “I have to agree with John here! I think that you are nuts that you are trying to save someone that tried to kill you! He is obsessed with power and revenge! In my book, he is no better than Sinestro!” With that comment, Guy earns a punch from Naruto right in the kisser knocking him down.

 

Naruto yells out, pissed off, “Don't you dare compare Sasuke to that murderous freak! He didn't have the life that Sasuke had!”

Guy gets to his feet and he yells out, strongly, “I don't care if you are a kid, wise guy!” Before Guy can attack Naruto, which he is ready for, Kyle restrains him through his power ring.

 

Steel tells Naruto, “Naruto, look, we were told everything about you. And revenge is a nasty hole to fall into and we know plenty of guys that fell into those holes. Many times than not, you can't bring them out of those holes.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious glare, “Doesn't mean that you don't give up on them because, in my book, nothing is impossible.”

 

Hal thinks in his mind, with a sigh, “Kid is going to be very well impossible to reason with. He is very loyal to friends to a fault even if he had betrayed them. Kind of like what I did when Parallax had control of me.”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Naruto, you need to know that Orochimaru is dead.” Our ninja group looks at Tsunade and she says, with a plain tone, “I've got reports that Orochimaru was just killed by Sasuke recently.”

 

Sakura yells out, excitedly, “That's great, Lady Tsunade! He made sure that snake freak didn't take his body!”

 

Tsunade tells Sakura, with a plain tone, “But my sources also say that he is gathering a team of his own. Most likely, since he killed Orochimaru since he didn't have anymore to offer Sasuke, he is gathering a team to find and take down Itachi.”

 

Just then Naruto's lips curl into a smile and he yells out, excitedly, “And that's how we get Sasuke back! We find Itachi and capture him!”

 

Shikamaru tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “Would that piss Sasuke off since he wants Itachi?”

 

Naruto says, with a smile, “If we kill Itachi, Shikamaru! We capture Itachi and it will force Sasuke to come to the village. Since he is obsessed with Itachi, Sasuke can't help himself to come here even he know that we know he is coming for Itachi and most likely, he knew that we got Itachi to bring him back.”

 

Kiba says, amazed, “That's a smart idea for once, Naruto!”

 

Ino says, with a smile, “Who knew that a knucklehead like you could gain an idea like that? Nice work, Naruto!”

 

Supergirl yells out, with a plain tone, “Hello, everyone? Interdimensional visitors still in the room?”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “I know that you want to take Naruto back to your realm to test if he is worthy of that ring, but right now, we can't exactly afford to lose him. Even over two years since we lost the last leader of the village and my teacher, the Third Hokage, we are still losing valuable ninja and we have to deal with the Akatsuki, who are after Naruto Uzumaki due to `certain conditions' that I mentioned to you earlier which I know that you will keep in confidence. And in real honesty, I don't believe that Sinestro is gone and based on what you told us about him, he will come after Naruto.”

 

Guy says, with a serious tone, “That guy is on to keep a grudge. He won't let this defeat stand and he will be back to pay the kid back.”

 

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “I do have a name you know?!”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “Plus, even through Naruto destroyed the Red Lantern ring that was controlling Sakura, I doubt that's the last one here. Also, there is that `Agent Orange' Lantern Battery, filled with greed's `light', so to speak, and it is somewhere in the various realities. There is a point that it could be right here in this universe. With Naruto's ability to use your Corps' ring and the Blue Lantern ring, I'm afraid that I can't spare him since I don't know if someone else like Sinestro or worse, one of our enemies chosen by one of those rings within `negative' part of this `emotional light spectrum'. We are not prepared for a threat like this and we don't know if Naruto will past your `tests' through I doubt he will fail knowing Naruto. I'm sorry, Green Lanterns, but until I can spare him, he remains in our universe.”

 

Hal says, with a sigh, “We believe that you would say, but we can't just let the rings go. For now, permit us to stay and keep an eye on Naruto until you allow us to take back to Oa for evaluation and proper Green Lantern training.”

 

Guy yells out, annoyed, “Hal, you have got to be kidding me!”

 

John tells Guy, with a serious tone, “She is the leader of this village, Guy. We have to respect their culture and political structure.”

 

Kyle tells Guy, with a grin, “And do you want to take this kid and this whole village of `super ninjas' on?”

 

Guy tells Kyle, with a plain tone, “The village of ninja is one thing, Kyle. The guy that just sent Sinestro flying? I do want to see how he can stand up to me, but since I'm a nice guy, I won't start anything.”

 

Tsunade tells Hal, with a plain tone, “Thank you, Hal Jordan.” Tsunade tells Naruto, “I got what you asked for Naruto.”

 

Naruto asks Tsunade, “You did, Granny Tsunade?”

 

Tsunade groans at the `Granny' remark and Guy whispers to Hal, with a smirk, “Something tells me that this kid has an `authority problem' like you.”

 

Hal whispers back, with a snort, “Shut up, Guy.”

 

Tsunade tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “I did as much research as I possibly could in the Hyuga and Uchiha compounds and I didn't find much, but I did find something surprising. It is a dairy from an ancient Uchiha. He tells about a time when the Uchiha were part of the Hyuga clan, but they were a `rebellious' sort in the Hyuga clan to say the least about these Uchiha. The dairy mentions that in the very old legends of the Uchiha that these members of the Hyuga clan one day found a mysterious glow from a cave and when they investigated, they were hit with powerful bright `lights' that hit them straight in the eyes. Normally, they would have gone blind, but these lights `changed' their eyes from the Byakugan into the Sharingan that we know of today. And these lights were ordinary. It is said that these `lights' were red, orange, and yellow colored and these Hyuga clan member, who became the first members of the Uchiha clan, were nearly driven insane from intense emotions and namely rage, greed, and fear.”

 

Everyone's eyes widen at that remark and Kyle asks, surprised, “Wait a minute here everyone! It sounds like the energy of the emotional light spectrum was here!”

 

Tsunade then displays the ancient dairy, Hal scans it with his ring, and he says, with a plain tone looking a display of the words in kanji with an English translation, “This is exactly what this dairy says it sounds like.”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone, “It looks like our world may not be too different from yours. It said that these light gave these Hyuga, who renamed themselves Uchiha when they separated from the Hyuga, the ability to `instill fear in their opponents' with deadly fear-inducing Genjutsu, the ability to take other ninja's ability jutsu and techniques, and the one who wrote this dairy that the Uchiha might become doomed to the fury that they have in battle and at many times, becoming `avengers'.”

 

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “It looks like that the Sharingan is a mutated Byakugan created by the energies of rage, greed, and fear in the emotional light spectrum and it makes sense since the Mangekyo Sharingan, the upgrade Sharingan, using Tsukuyomi put people into a nightmare world that tries to break their spirit through pain and fear. The Sharingan can copy another ninja's jutsu expect for other Kekkai Genkai jutsu and techniques and the rage part can be quite obvious with Madara Uchiha and what happened between Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha.”

 

John comments, with a plain tone, “It looks like our world isn't the only world that's connected to the emotional light spectrum.”

 

Steel says, with a plain tone, “It shouldn't be so surprising since all life is equaled to emotion.”

 

Tsunade says, with a plain tone taking out another dairy, “There is something else: My grandfather, the First Hokage, hid this dairy to make sure that no one expect his family would find it. It says in this dairy about the battle with Madara in the Valley of Ends. He talks about Madara gaining control of the Nine-Tailed Fox using his Sharingan and putting some kind `rage curse' jutsu to make it more controllable to Madara. It was hard, even for his Wood Style bloodline and jutsu, to control the fox and fight Madara at the same time. However, he says that when he and Madara created the great chasm that's the Valley of Ends, he released incredible blue and green energy in the form of light. My grandfather said that the blue light weakened the `rage curse' on the Kyuubi and made it weaker. My grandfather combined his Wood Style with the blue and green lights to contain the Nine-Tailed Fox and then he unleashed the remaining energy, which was green, onto Madara and he defeated him. My grandfather mentions that this `green light' grew stronger as his confidence and will to survive, defeat Madara, and protect the village grew. Finally, as people began to put `Tailed Beasts' into people and making them into `containers' as we know them, my grandfather infused the crystal that was handed down with the green and blue lights to aid these containers and increase the strength of the `containing' ability of his Wood Style jutsu on the Tailed Beasts including the Nine-Tailed Fox.”

 

Kyle says, with a smile, “It looks like we aren't the first ones to harness willpower's energy in this universe.”

 

Hal says, with a plain tone, “And it means that all universes in the multi-verse are connected to ours in one form or another.”

 

John says, with a serious tone, “And that means that Ganthet is right. We need new Green Lanterns that come outside of this universe.”

 

Just then an ANBU comes into the room and yells out, excitedly, “Lady Hokage, we have an emergency! Mizuki has escaped once again!”

 

Our ninja gasps in shock and Tsunade exclaims, stunned, “How did he escape? He was in no condition to escape!”

 

The ANBU says, with a serious tone, “A strange orange meteor crashed into cell that Mizuki was in and it turned into some kind of orange lantern in which it gave Mizuki incredible power! He killed many guards and created `orange light versions' of them!”

 

John yells out, stunned, “The Orange Lantern! After Larfleeze was killed by those that he killed by him to make them into `Orange Lantern Constructs' when they became Black Lanterns, the Orange Lantern was gone along with the rings, but it looks like that we haven't seen the last of it.”

 

Naruto says, with a snort, “Orange, huh? Mizuki has got greed's energy with him now. It seems a good match since he is a power-hungry jerk that wants more strength no matter what he has to do or who he hurts to get it.”

 

Supergirl asks, curiously, “Sounds like you know him, huh?”

 

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “Mizuki tried Naruto into stealing something very important from our village for more power, but Naruto stopped his plans right in his tracks. When Mizuki escaped for more strength, Naruto was the one who crushed his plans and brought back him back to jail through his quest for greater strength cost Mizuki a lot.”

 

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “I'll deal with Mizuki and I'll stop him! Orange Lantern or not! Believe it, everyone!” Naruto then changes into his mixed Lantern uniform, uses his Green Lantern ring to open the window, and flies right out the window.

 

John says, with a sigh, “Oh, brother! Something tells me that he is the kind of person that flies into things first and thinks about them later.”

 

Kiba says, with a grin, “That's Naruto in a nutshell.”

 

Ino and Sakura say in unison, with a snort, “Like you can talk, dog breath.”

 

Hal says, with a serious tone, “We had better follow him. He doesn't know what he is getting into with that Orange Lantern.”

 

Kakashi says, with a serious tone, “And you don't know Mizuki, but we do. And we can figure what he can do with that Lantern in his grasp.” Soon after, the warriors of both realms rush out to get to Naruto as soon as possible.

 

(Outside of the Leaf Village; A short time afterwards)

 

Just outside of the Leaf Village, we find Mizuki, holding the Orange Lantern and wearing an Orange Lantern uniform similar to Larfleeze's uniform, is looking down on the village with an insane look, an orange gleam in his eyes, and having orange light constructs of ninjas surrounding him.

 

Mizuki yells out, with a cruel smile and excited tone, “This energy! Such energy! I never felt so alive, but I need more! More power! Much more! And I'll take every last bit of from this village and then the whole ninja world! I shall be the greatest and most powerful ninja ever with power that the Hokage can only dream about!” Mizuki then gives a sinister and insane laugh as he prepares for his attack on the Leaf Village, but not noticing a certain green light heading towards him…

This is the second chapter and things are starting to heat up. I've been thinking about this story and it isn't going to be too long. However, this story will be just a start of a whole series of stories that leads up to one big major crossover story.
