We’re back, everyone! In the last chapter, we have had the final Signer revealed and it looks like that he has some ‘heritage’ when it comes to the ‘ninja world’, but you are going to have to find out by reading, everyone. And now, Kasumi has appeared before her sister. What will happen between them? And what is the Dragon’s Orb? And how it is related to the Crimson Dragon? These are questions that are going to be revealed in the story, dear reader! And before I start this chapter, what will happen in the Chunin Exams finals/Third Exam will be pretty much the same through some minor changes including what happened in the Naruto/Neji fight, everyone. This is just to give you fair warning before, folks! Plus, all of you that know about what happened with the Uchiha clan, it isn’t going to get revealed right away! Okay, let’s move on since it is time for the show!

Chapter 12: Clash of Legends

Right now, we find ourselves inside of Leaf Village hospital where we find ourselves in a large room where we find Tai, Kari, and Davis with their Digimon partners by their sides in three separate bed being examined by doctors and nurses while Team 8, Naruto, Jiraiya, Ninja Ryu, Ninja Ayane, Kasumi, Rachel, Momiji, Leon, Kalin, Haku, and the Fudo twins are assembled together in front of them. The Third Hokage and Inoichi are also there in which the Third Hokage is here to from the group about what happened and Inoichi is also there to examine Tai’s and Kari’s mind to make that there is no permanent ‘mental damage’ as well mind-control and hypnotic jutsu implanted into their minds. However, right now, we find there are a set of files in the Third Hokage’s hands and a serious glare in his eye.

Third Hokage says, with a serious glare, “I knew that Danzo was doing things behind my back, but I had no idea…”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “That includes attacking an organization set up by those three orphans that I met to get Hanzo’s aid to overthrow you, Old Man.”

Third Hokage says, with a serious tone, “He won’t be able to do anything anymore, Jiraiya. You can be certain of that. This is the moment that I’ve been waiting for and nailing him at last.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “You should be lucky that Danzo didn’t expect the Crimson Dragon to teleport us to the location of the fifth Signer when he played the final Signer Dragon. He didn’t have time to clear out the evidence from his secret base in the Leaf Village. He may have more, but he made the mistake of allowing this to happen at one of his most vital.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “He won’t have anywhere to hide in the Leaf Village anymore. And with this, I can finally get the leverage that I need over my other two former teammates and the civilian council in which I hope they and future generations of elders and councilmen and women learn that the Hokage’s words is law.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Let’s hope that something like this doesn’t happen again, Old Man.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “I fear that as long as this age continues, there will be someone like Danzo and this ‘other Danzo’ will do something like him if not here, then in another of the great villages.”

Jiraiya says, with a sigh, “Point taken, Old Man.” On the meanwhile, the four Signers, Naruto, Hinata, and the Fudo Twins, with help from Kalin, Ninja Ryu, and others, explains the story of the Crimson Dragon and the Signers to the six new arrivals to the Leaf Village as well as the story of Fudo twins murdered family to them as well.

When they were done, Davis says, holding up his ‘Mark of the Dragon’, “So, this thing is part of the powerful crimson red dragon of that Native American legend that Ken explained to me about? If this was before I became a Digidestined, I would think that you are nuts.”

Ayane asks, curiously, “Now?”

Davis replies, with a shrug, “When you’ve been fighting in a world made of digital information and fighting all types of weird dudes and creatures, nothing surprises you anymore.”

Tai says, with a nod, “No joke, Davis.”

Hinata asks, curiously, “So, you believe us, Motomiya-san?”

Davis says, with a sly grin, “The massive red dragon and all of you guys appearing out of nowhere is the kicker for me.”

Kari says, with a smile, “We are used to this kind of stuff through this is a bit more than we are used to.”

Davis says, amazed, “I never knew that your dad and mom had to fight off evil like my friends and I did. I’ve heard about the wacky stuff from the WRGP, but I didn’t think that they were real.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “They were real, Davis. My mom and dad with the rest of our family had to change the future to save the world and they did it.”

Tai says, with a whistle, “And I thought that we had adventures.”

Naruto says, with a smile, “I’m glad that trying to find the fifth Signer is finally over.”

Hinata says, with a nod, “I agree, Naruto-kun. Now that all five of us are together, the Crimson Dragon can appear at its full strength.”

Davis says, looking at Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) Synchro Monster card, “Are you sure that it is all right of me taking this card and this deck? It did belong to someone that you cared about it.”

Tai asks, curiously, “But how did it get into your deck, Davis?”

Ayane says, with a giggle, “I think that our Uncle Crow would be honored for you to use his dragon.”

Ryu says, with a nod, “I agree, Davis. He is so much like you and he was known as the ‘Trick Star of Team 5Ds’ among other things.”

Kari says, with a plain tone, “I hope that the others aren’t too worried about us, Tai.”

Tai says, with a plain tone, “I know that our parents aren’t worried since these guys used their abilities to make them think we were away with family, friends, or whatever. I can’t be sure that Davis wasn’t right not to bring them along. After what happened, we wouldn’t stand a chance even with our Digimon partners.”

Kiba says, amazed, “I can’t believe that these little guys aren’t really flesh and blood.” Akamaru is sniffing the three Digimon and Gatomon gives a loud meow at Akamaru and scares him back into Kiba’s coat. Kiba yells out, “Hey! Keep fuzz ball away from my pal!” Gatomon jumps on his head and points her claws at his neck.

Gatomon asks, with a deadly tone in her voice, “Who is a fuzz ball dog breath?”

Kiba says, nervously, “I didn’t say anything!”

Kari tells Gatomon, with a smile, “Easy, Gatomon.” Gatomon leaps down and goes into the lap of her human partner.

Shino tells Kiba, in a plain tone, “I don’t think she is one cat that you and anyone in your clan should try to de-claw unless you want to get… ‘fixed’, Kiba.”

Kiba says, annoyed, “Put a sock in it, Shino!”

Hinata tells Shino, “I don’t think that Shino-san meant anything mean by that.”

Naruto says, with a snort, “He was giving you fair warning, dog breath. That cat has claws that looks like that cut through anything and she isn’t some kind of house cat you know!”

Gatomon says, with a sly smile, “Got that right, kid!”

Kiba yells out, annoyed, “Who told you to butt in Naruto? I can’t be defeated by anyone!”

Naruto says, with a smirk, “So says that guy that I took to the cleaners!”

Kiba says, with an embarrassed look, “Y-You got lucky, Naruto! Next time, you won’t be so lucky!”

Naruto asks, with a sly tone, “So, when I pound you again, I got lucky twice, Kiba?” Kiba growls at Naruto while Kurenai sighs at her Genin’s antics.

Inoichi says, with a plain tone, “I’ve looked over the kid’s two friends with a fine tooth comb, Hokage-sama.”

Third Hokage asks, curiously, “And your results?”

Inoichi tells Third Hokage, “They are clean of any ‘mental implants’, but they have been through a lot despite how they look now. I would make sure that the two of them are looked over for awhile to make sure that they won’t suffer any too damage or permanent effects from the nasty Genjutsu that they were under.”

Tai says, amazed, “I can’t believe that all of that stuff was just an illusion.”

Davis tells Tai, “Tell me about it, Tai. Believe me, Genjutsu can seen very real.”

Kari tells Davis, “Davis, so, you are a ninja?”

Davis says, with a sigh, “Kind of. Actually, I’m not really a ninja.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “But your mother is. When we got your blood sample from the attack of that monster on your chest, we did have a match. Your mother comes from a clan that guarded that ancient seal that Danzo had put into that place where we found you, kid. A clan that defeated a powerful chaotic force and sealed it away in which their clan made a powerful blood seal in which only a certain condition is met can the power be unlocked. The condition is: The defeat of the blood member that’s a chosen guardian. And you must the guardian since it was pasted down from your mother.”

Kari and Tai look at Davis and he asks, with a serious tone, “So, what if I am?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “And that means that you must hold your clan’s bloodline and it is pretty deadly since you are holding back much of your chakra.”

There are plenty that are looking at him and Kurenai asks Jiraiya, “Jiraiya-sama, what do you mean?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “During the look over, I noticed the seals on his body active for a brief moment. He must have been born with an unusual amount of chakra and those seals were made to give him time to handle it. If those seals were released, I dare say that his own body would destroy itself. And while he must have been some things by his mother, I don’t think that he has the level of skill and ability through that doesn’t mean that there aren’t tricks that we haven’t seen before.”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “You are only half right, pal. Those things are holding back a strong chakra, but it isn’t my regular chakra. I was born with a very powerful chakra through my mom and dad said that they weren’t sure what it was. My grandma from my dad’s side is a Shino priestess and she said that the energy isn’t demonic or evil, but it is very powerful and it would kill me if left ‘unchecked’. It isn’t unusual since Jun was born with a really powerful chakra and I mean that it is huge. She was taught how to suppress it or she would crack the ground everywhere that she would step…” Davis says, with a grumble, “But then she had to have perfect chakra control like a medical ninja.”

Veemon says, with a grin, “Maybe that’s why she keeps beating you when you train.”

Davis yells out, annoyed, “You don’t have to mention that Veemon!”

Tai asks, confused, “Jun doesn’t seem the ninja type, Davis?”

Davis says, pointing to Naruto, “He doesn’t look it either and look at him, Tai! Believe me, Jun is a great ninja and a fan girl wrapped up into one!”

Kurenai thinks in her mind, amazed, “Is that even possible? A ninja and a fan girl?”

Ninja Ryu asks, curiously, “How high is her chakra levels?”
Davis says, with a plain tone, “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.”

Jiraiya replies, slyly, “Try us, kid.”

Davis says, with a sigh, “If you so, perv.” Jiraiya gives an annoyed groan and Davis replies, “You know about those ‘chakra monsters’? Those Biju or whatever? Mom and dad told me that she is around Five-Tailed to Six-Tailed Biju in chakra levels.”

There are plenty of gasps and Inoichi yells out, flabbergasted, “That’s impossible! No human could have those levels of chakra unless they had one of those monsters sealed inside of them!”

Davis says, with a smirk, “And I keep wondering if she is human myself! But that’s about the short end of it and my mom and dad trained both of us to make it, however, they made sure to give Jun a chance to control every single drop. But she only has about three-quarters of that power under control and when she was born, her chakra amounts nearly killed like my ‘special chakra’ did to me, so, they put ‘suppression seals’ to keep that energy under control until she was able to control it.”

Tai asks Davis, “Hold on, Davis! If you had such skills, why didn’t you use them to help us?”

Davis tells Tai, “Mom and dad only taught us so much since they were afraid of ninja finding out and you know how places like here love to get a guy with a powerful bloodline.”

Jiraiya replies, with a sigh, “Can’t argue with that. If we found about this kid sooner, Danzo would have been on him and his family to get their secrets.” Jiraiya says, with a serious tone, “But I know that there is another reason and it involved that ‘incident’ five years ago. You should know because it involved that seal, Old Man.”

Third Hokage gives a look of surprise and he then says, regaining his composer, “You’re right, Jiraiya. It all makes sense now.”

Naruto asks, perplexed, “What do you mean?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “In this kid’s clan, there is a ceremony involving the passing of guardianship from parent, be it mother or father, or child, be it son or daughter. This clan has powerful male ninja and kunoichi and they were equal by law and as best as possible, in practice. Something happened during your induction when you were eight years old.”

Everyone looks at Davis, who has his hands turning into fists with his bed sheets in his hand, in which he replies, weakly, “Yeah…”

Kari asks Davis, concerned, “What happened Davis?”

Davis says, weakly, “Something bad, Kari. Really bad.”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “It isn’t that simple, but to try to simplify it through I don’t think it is too respectable with what happened. His mom took him to the Elemental Countries for his induction, something happened, most likely an attack, and it caused… a horrible tragedy which most likely this kid and his family were among the only survivors… physically. Personally, with what you must have experienced, I’m surprised that you are the way that you are.”

Ayane asks, curiously, “Why is that?”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “Put Naruto’s entire horrible childhood into one horrible tragedy and you get your answer.”

There were plenty of gasps especially from Naruto and he thinks, looking at Davis, “Put my nightmare childhood into one day and that’s what he experienced?! Geez, now I’m wondering how he remained sane!”

As Davis clenches his hands even harder as horrible images come into his mind, Inoichi says, seriously, “So that why we didn’t want me in his mind? You didn’t want me or Motomiya-san to live or relive that experience.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “That’s right, Inoichi-san. I think that’s for the best.”

Third Hokage tells everyone in the room, “And no one of us ask him about it and I’m ordering all of my ninja here not to say a word about it or spoken in this room.” All of the Leaf ninja in the room nod their heads in understand and agreement. As Tai and Kari look at Davis, they can’t help to wonder what kind of horrible tragedy that he lived through. Third Hokage thinks in his mind, “To go through such a tragedy and yet remain so… strong willed and… pure is the best word for it. I think Naruto isn’t the only one in this world with his level of will.”

Veemon thinks in his mind, worried for his partner, “Davis…”

Gatomon whispers to Veemon, “Did you know about this?”

Veemon replies, “Not really, Gatomon. I knew that Davis was one of these ninja guys, but I didn’t know he went through that.”

Ninja Ryu tells Davis, “Anyway, my young friend, you are going to need to stay in the Leaf Village for your own safety.”

Tai yells out, shocked, “Huh?”

Jiraiya replies, “Do you think that Danzo will give up on him? And ninja from the Elemental Countries are the reason why the previous Signers are… no longer with us. There are plenty of people, here, and at your home that want the Signers either dead or under their thumb for the Crimson Dragon’s power.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “There have been plenty of attacks on Ryu and Ayane in which the other villagers know well of the Crimson Dragon’s power.”

Leon says, with a nod, “Naruto already told us about his ‘meeting’ with two of his ‘brethren’ from the Cloud Village and they gave a warning about how they will ‘deal’ with the Signers if they feel the Crimson Dragon’s power will be used against their home.”

Davis says, with a snort, “Well, your village doesn’t have a spotless record in itself. I’m not liking the idea of staying in a village for assholes and beat a kid up just because of something that he had no control over of. As well as being dumb enough not to tell the difference of something that’s like water and the glass containing the water.”

Jiraiya tells Davis, “Look, kid, I’ll admit that this kid that our village hasn’t got the best track record, but it is the best bet that you got and you should also know that sooner or later, those outside of our village especially those that are after the Crimson Dragon know that you are a Signer.”

Third Hokage tells Davis, “As a Signer, you’ll be under the protection of the Namikaze clan, who our young Naruto is the last of, in which his father had plenty of friends in high places including the leader of our lands, the Fire Daimyo.”

Naruto says, with a sly grin, “You’ll be just fine with us, Davis-san! They won’t dare even touch you!”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “And since those old frats and the civilian councils have been quite ‘chummy’ with that asshole, it is a perfect excuse to get them out of more power. And with that, we will be able to protect you better since the ninja clans greatly respect the Crimson Dragon and the Signers.”

Davis says, with a sigh, “All right, if you say so. I really don’t like because I’ve got some bad history, here, but I don’t back down from a fight.”

Tai says, worriedly, “Wait a minute! What if they go after your family, Davis? Once your heritage is revealed, they might go after your family.”

Davis replies, with a smile, “Already told them what happened and they are going out on a ‘vacation’.”

Kari asks Davis, amazed, “You knew to do that?”

Davis tells Kari, “After mom told me so many times, Kari.”

Ryu tells Davis, “I hope that we can be a good team, Davis.”

Ayane says, with a nod, “We are going to need to be since we are going to be saving the world together.”

Davis says, with a sly grin, “No problem, Ayane-san! Stick with the expert and you’ll be defeating the forces of evil in no time at all!”

Veemon says, with a proud smile, “That’s right, everyone! Davis and I have helped saved the world with the Digidestined! In fact, Davis was the leader of the younger team of our team back home!”

Naruto says, excitedly, “Cool!”

Ayane asks, curiously, “Was?”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “Let’s just say that I’m a solo act now due to my team… under appreciating my leadership and my contributions to saving the world from the forces of evil.” Tai and Kari give solemn looks while Agumon and Gatomon give low whistles nervously. Davis says, with a plain tone, “However, my best friend, Ken, is the only one that I have no problem with and for obvious reasons. And a guy that I kind of considered my rival: TC.”

Veemon tells Davis, “That’s TK, Davis.” Veemon says, with a smile, “He always gets it wrong unless he is really serious. It was a surprise that TK stuck up for him since they always seem to get into fights with each other.”

Kakashi asks, curiously, “Really?”

Davis says, with a smile, “It surprised me too, but then again, he isn’t the ‘Digidestined of Hope’ for nothing.”

Veemon says, with a grin, “That’s TK for you! Always bringing hope to others!”

Ryu tells Davis, “We may have just met, but I’m sure that we can become good friends. We are going to need to become a good team if we are going to do what we do.”

Leon says, with a smile, “Well, when he is up and ready to go, I think that we’ll need to test his dueling skills. It could also help adapt to that deck.”

Davis says, with a grin, “Sure, I’m always up for a good duel!”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “I think that it is best that I duel him.”

Ayane asks, curiously, “Are you sure, Kalin?”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “As a former Dark Signer, I can give Davis-san what he may face in the future and based on Ryu’s duel with what happened with that ninja, Anko, the Earthbound Immortals are back and they have already chosen at least a new Dark Signer of the Spider to replace Roman Goodwin.”

Leon says, with a nod, “That’s a good idea. You are using a modified version of your Dark Signer deck minus the Earthbound Immortal and plus a new Synchro Monster.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “I agree with you and Kalin-san, Leon-san. It can help Davis-san know what he is in for safely while helping adapting his dueling style to Crow Hogan’s Blackwing deck.”

Naruto says, with a serious tone, “Well, I’ve got to get to work perfecting my new jutsu.”

Ayane asks Naruto, “How are you going to do that? You know what to do, Naruto, but you can’t see to get the hang of it.”

Naruto replies, with a sigh, “Tell me about it, Ayane.” Just then Naruto hears a loud ‘meow’ and looks to see a cat playing around with a ball of yawn in which Naruto thinks, with a sly smile, “But now I do!”

Jiraiya notices this and he thinks, slyly, “It looks like the gaki has a plan!”

(Some distance from Leaf Village; on the meanwhile)

Inside of some kind of underground headquarters, we find Danzo along with a group of his ROOT ANBU including Sai are assembled with him.

Danzo says, trying remain as emotionlessly as possible, “This event was most unexpected and very displeasing.”

Sai tells Danzo, “Forgive me for my failure, Danzo-sama.”

Danzo says, with a plain tone, “You did fail, Sai, but you still have many uses.”

Another ROOT ANBU says, “Danzo-sama, what shall we do? That place was a critical facility and they shall learn many secrets from it.”

Danzo says, with a plain tone, “I know, Fuu. And due to the short-sighted nature of Sarutobi and those of the ninja council, they will use this excuse to label me a renegade as well as reduce the powers of the civilian council as well as take Homura and Koharu out of power. For now, we must retreat to our secret base which was recently built so there will be no information on it. It shall be safe operational headquarters for the moment.”

Fuu asks Danzo, “Do you think that Orochimaru will still go on with his operation?”

Danzo says, with a nod, “He will, Fuu. Even more so once he finds out that the fifth Signer is found and he will learn that information soon enough.”

(That evening; within the Leaf Village)

In the Leaf Village, we find ourselves on the rooftops during the night of the full moon where we find Kabuto and the Sand ninja, Baki, the leader of the Sand ninja team consisting of Temari, Kankuro, and Gaara, are looking across to another rooftop to see Gaara looking into the moonlight. However, what they seemly don’t know is that Hayate is closed in on them and observing them in secret.

Baki tells Kabuto, “I’ve gotten your message, Kabuto.”

Kabuto tells Baki, “Good. There are some things to be talked about.”

Baki says, serious tone, “Indeed, Kabuto. We weren’t informed that this village’s Jinchuriki was the son of the Fourth Hokage and the Crimson Storm of Whirlpool, Kushina Uzumaki, nor the fact that he has the full power of the Nine-Tailed Fox under his complete control.”

Kabuto tells Baki, with a sly tone, “Far from that, Baki. The boy has separated the fox spirit from its full chakra power, but the boy has yet to harness the chakra to its full strength. However, he was able to fight Orochimaru-sama quite well despite his weak skills. The fox’s chakra along with the Rinnegan makes him a strong force to be dealt with, but it doesn’t that he can’t be defeated. Remember, he is still an inexperienced Genin, Hokage’s kid or not.”

Baki says, with a plain tone, “Okay, I agree with you there, Kabuto.”

Hayate thinks in his mind, “Is Kabuto working with the Sand ninja?”

Baki tells Kabuto, “There is also the knowledge of the five Signers. The Crimson Dragon and the Signers are well-known in the ninja world and the power of the Crimson Dragon was indeed as powerful as the legends say. Maybe even more and only four of its Signers were there.”

Kabuto says, with a grin, “Actually, there are five now since Danzo figured out who the fifth Signer was, but when he tried to get the power from this person, who is also from the outside world like the Fudo twins, his ‘secret operations’ were exposed and he is soon to be considered a traitor with the elders and civilian council going to lose significant power giving the Hokage more power.”

Baki asks, surprised, “When was this?”

Kabuto says, with a sly smile, “Just sometime ago. By this way, this kid also seems to have a heritage from this world and a very powerful Kekkai Genkai.”

Baki asks, with a serious tone, “Really, Kabuto?”

Kabuto says, with a plain tone, “He has some ninja training, but not too much in order to keep ‘certain people’ away from them and to keep them from using them. He isn’t a real threat now, but if he gets good ninja training, he will be in the future.”

Baki tells Kabuto, “However, your leader has some use for him, doesn’t he?”

Kabuto says, with a nod, “Indeed.”

Hayate thinks in his mind, “So, Kabuto is working with them, but not under the Sand ninja’s command?”

Kabuto tells Baki, “I need to inform you that I was sent on a mission to kidnap Sasuke Uchiha, but I failed.”

Baki asks, surprised, “What?”

Kabuto says, with a plain tone, “Yeah, they discovered that I’m an agent of the Sound Village.”

Baki says, with a serious tone, “If they have done so and they know that we are having a secret meeting with me, then the plan to destroy the Leaf Village will be ruined.” Hayate gives a mental gasp upon hearing those words. Baki tells him, “I thought that you were Orochimaru’s right hand man, but after being discovering and meeting here like nothing is wrong.”

Kabuto says, slyly, “I actually let them discover my identity and I wanted to see how far the Leaf Village would go when they found out the truth. And I knew that it wouldn’t be too late to take Sasuke even after they found out.”

Baki says, “This plan was made by the Sound Village, so, if you are going to fail, we are going to back down immediately. The Sand won’t make a move until the last moment and that’s the will of the Kazekage.”

Hayate thinks in his mind, shocked, “This can’t be…!”

Kabuto says, giving Baki a scroll, “Okay, this is the plan that you are going to be carrying out.”

Baki says, taking the scroll from Kabuto, “Okay, Kabuto…”

Kabuto tells Baki, “Make sure to tell them about this plan as soon as possible.”

Baki says, with a nod, “Yes, I know.” Baki asks, with a serious tone, “What about the Namikaze child and the Signers?”

Kabuto says, with a plain tone, “Don’t worry, Orochimaru-sama has a plan for them.” Kabuto says, getting ready to leave, “All right, I’ll get going.”

Hayate thinks in his mind, “To think the Sand Village would have a secret pact with the Sound Village. I have to tell Hokage-sama!”

Kabuto says, slyly, “By the way, I’ll take care of our little spy.” Hayate gasps, knowing that he has been found out.

Baki says, with a plain tone, “I’ll take care of it. As a show of faith from the Sand Village, I’ll give a helping hand. Besides, it is one little spy and that won’t too hard.” Soon after, Hayate takes off while Baki takes off in pursuit after him. Baki manages to catch up with him and Hayate tries to defeat him with his Crescent Moon Dance swordsman technique, but Baki manages to stop the attack and finish off Hayate with a deadly wind jutsu attack.

(The following morning; Elsewhere in the Leaf Village)

Within the Leaf Village, we find a group of young ladies in bikinis and one-piece bathing suits playing in the river and none other than the perverted Toad Sage, Jiraiya, looking at them for his research.

Just then Naruto’s voice yells out, “Hey, Pervy Sage! Aren’t you supposed to be training me?”

Jiraiya says, with a snort, “Lower it down, gaki! I’m doing some very valuable research!”

Naruto’s voice calls out, “Oh, yeah!” It gets quite for a second and then Jiraiya hears a loud ‘pop’ in which water splashes on him in which he whips his head to see Naruto with a wide grin on his lips. Naruto says, slyly, “I got it!” A short time afterwards, Jiraiya is looking at Naruto in which he has the water balloon in his left hand in which he starts to spin chakra in it and uses more chakra from his right hand in which he puts it in at multiple point causing the chakra in the balloon to spin around in all sorts of directions before it pops.

Jiraiya thinks in his mind, slyly, “The kid isn’t half bad. Steadying it in his left hand and applying chakra to his right hand. It is a strange way, but he is a strange kid. However, Kushina was what you call a strange girl herself and strange isn’t bad especially considering his heritage. He may not be able to do it one-handed, but he found a way and it works well enough.”

Naruto says, slyly, “What can I say? I rock!”

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “You managed to get the first step down in a few days! Well done, gaki!”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Ayane give me a tip when she reminded me that the balloon in your hand was bumpy liking the water was boiling inside, but when I saw a cat playing with a ball of yawn, I realized how I can make that happen for me!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a smile, “If you want to get this jutsu down in half-a-month, we need to get to work! You are off to a really good start! Doing the first step within a few days or less, but there is still a long way to go.” Jiraiya then takes out a storage scroll, opens up the scroll, and in a puff of smoke, a large bag of solid rubber balls. After Jiraiya throws Naruto a rubber ball, Jiraiya says, with a smile, “Here is the second step, Naruto!” Soon enough, he makes the rubber ball pop using a similar way of the first step of the Rasengan through using much more focused power.

Naruto says, amazed, “Whoa!”

Jiraiya says, with a sly smile, “And let me tell you, it is harder than a water balloon! There is no water for the chakra to spin inside since this is a solid rubber ball.” Naruto makes his first attempt, but he comes up short.

Naruto thinks in his mind, “This is harder! I’m going to need to come up with a way!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “The first part of process was rotation, which you got. The second part is force. Like I said, this is harder since there is no water for you to assert your chakra rotation and this object is completely solid.” Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a smile, “Anyway, I’ll leave the rest to you.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “You are just going to leave me here?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Look Naruto, like I said before, I’m a hands off ninja. Your mother might needed a ‘key’ to learn ninjutsu, but her talent came from figuring out ways to do those ninjutsu on her own. You may have inherited her talent from her, but you need to learn to do it on your own. I’ve given you the ‘map’, Naruto. Now, it is up to you to figure out that map to lead to your goal of learning this jutsu. If you want to become even stronger than your father and your mother, you need to do as they did.”

Naruto says, with a sigh, “I’ve got to admit that you have got a point, Pervy Sage.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Okay, then, come to me when you have got it down, gaki!”

When Jiraiya leaves, Naruto thinks in his mind, annoyed, “It doesn’t mean that it isn’t a real pain in the ass to let you go see beautiful women that are scanty clad and naked in which you are peeping on them and call it ‘research’ especially for those pervy books of yours, Pervy Sage!”

(Around the same time; at the Hokage Tower)

Inside of council room within the Hokage Tower, we find the civilian council and ninja council sitting in their positions with the Third Hokage and the elders, Homura and Koharu, in the center looking at files in front of them in which they are plenty of shocked looked and in the case of the ninja council, angered expression.

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “As you can see, the evidence is irrefutable! Danzo has committed far more crimes than I ever thought possible! Not only has he disobeyed my order to disband ROOT, he had attempted to overthrow the Hokage with the aid of Hanzo, the only one that our Sannin together could not defeat! His plan failed when one of the faction of the Rain ninja that were peace used the same power that we know that our young Namikaze now welds destroying Hanzo’s and Danzo’s forces with them at the time!”

Tsume yells out, angrily, “I knew that one-eyed asshole should have been hanged ever since we sniffed wrong doing from him!”

Hiashi says, with a plain tone, “Easy, Tsume-san. We are sickened to core by this and believe me, I never liked the man myself. None of us from the ninja council ever did, but we couldn’t be biased based on suspicions. However, with proof of his misdeeds, I agree with your implication that Danzo must be considered a traitor.”

Inoichi says, with a nod, “I agree with Hiashi-sama. We can’t let this pass Hokage-sama.”

Third Hokage says, with a stern tone, “And I shall not, Danzo is now a S-class criminal since he was a powerful ninja as I know myself personally and as leader of the ROOT organization showing his strength. He is to be brought back dead or alive. Alive, if only for trail for high treason.” All of the ninja council nod their heads in agreement while the civilian members stay silent knowing that their strongest member is now a traitor, but whatever power they may have left may also be at stake since they and the elders were ‘close’ to Danzo.

Shibi Aburame, a man that’s the head of the Aburame clan and Shino’s father, says, plainly, “I believe there is also the matter of the civilian council and the elders, Hokage-sama.”

Third Hokage says, glaring at them, “Indeed, Shibi-san.”

One councilman says, nervously, “Hokage-sama, surely you can’t think…”

Third Hokage yells out, strongly, “That’s right, councilman! I don’t know what to believe! You and your fellow civilian councilmen and women are quite ‘friendly’ with Danzo, I’m not sure how much you know and what you don’t know! With Orochimaru here and now, his treasonous actions revealed, I am putting this village under emergency martial law and temporary stripping the civilian council of all power due to martial law!”

The civilian council gasped in shock and one councilwoman, one with pink hair, yells out, strongly, “Hokage-sama, you can’t do this!”

Third Hokage yells out, sternly with a powerful fire in his eyes not seen before, “I am the Hokage! My word is law! If you don’t like it, I can consider you a collaborator of Danzo and I doubt your daughter would like to see you without your head, Haruno!” The councilwoman, Sakura’s mother, backs down in fear of the Third Hokage. Third Hokage says, snapping his fingers, “And now, my FORMER teammates…” Just then a group of ANBU appears in the room and one of them behind each elder. Third Hokage yells out, “You, two, are formally suspended from your positions as elders of this village under the suspicions of collaborating with a traitor, Danzo!”

Homura yells out, angrily, “You can’t do this, Sarutobi!”

Third Hokage says, sternly, “That’s Hokage-sama to you, Homura! And I can and will as Hokage! If you are proven innocent, you will return to your positions, but until then, you are suspended from your positions and you will be under guard for twenty-fours a day! Take them away!”

The ANBU behind the elders grab them and they say in unison, “Right, Hokage-sama!” Soon after, the ANBU take the two shocked and angered elders away much to the horror of the civilian council and the joy of the ninja council, who didn’t like them much along with Danzo and the civilian council.

Third Hokage says, with a stern tone, “And now, all of you are to leave since you have no right to be here since the civilian council is under suspicion due to martial law and unless you want to spend time with Anko and Ibiki, I suggest that you leave immediately.” With angered looks on their faces, the civilian council takes their leave, but one Haruno is thinking about her daughter and his teammates, both Naruto and Sasuke, to know that she can get her family more prestige and power through them and her daughter.

When the civilian council are gone and the doors are closed, the ninja council restrained themselves from jumping for job and Choza, Choji’s father and leader of the Akimichi clan, says, with a grin, “It is about time that they are gone.”

Inoichi says, with a grin, “I agree, my friend.”

Hiashi says, with a plain tone, “We have to be wary of them. They will surely blame young Namikaze for this even through he had little involvement other than being a witness to Danzo’s crimes.”

Tsume says, with a snort, “So, what else is new, Hiashi? They hated him for the fox and when his heritage was revealed and Hokage-sama sick the Fire Daimyo on them, they hated him for the lost of power and ‘respect’, if they had real respect.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “However, Hiashi has a good point, but now, with the power completely in our hands, we can make sure that they don’t try anything.”

Tsume says, seriously, “I wouldn’t put anything by them, Hokage-sama. They are tricky and sly assholes, sir.”

Hiashi says, with a plain tone, “However, I also would address Haruno. She may use her daughter to get Namikaze or the Uchiha since they are the last of their clans in which their seats are assured when they have gained the right for their seats, sir.”

Tsume says, with a snort, “That runt doesn’t give a damn about any girls. I’m not sure even he is straight.” There are plenty of giggles from the other members of the ninja council through Hiashi is doing that in his mind.

Third Hokage says, with a sigh, “Now, Tsume, let us not get personal in here. However, you have valid points, but I’m sure that Haruno will not succeed. Hiashi’s daughter and Naruto have become much closer through that does bare problems.”

Hiashi says, with a solemn nod, “I know, Hokage-sama. However, I fear also the elders of my clan might use this as an excuse to try to gain more control over Hinata thus over Naruto. As I have warned fairly, the one reason that they wanted this is for her to… breed with Namikaze-sama to mix the legendary Uzumaki vitality with the Byakugan which has very strong ‘potential’.”

Shikaku Naru, Shikamaru’s dad and leader of the Nara clan, says, “Troublesome and not surprising, Hiashi-san. And if they figure out that your real plan is to make sure neither of your daughters get that ‘Curse Mark’ on their foreheads, they might try to undermine your plans, which seem to go well.”

Hiashi says, with a sigh, “I am not surprised that you have figured our my true plans, Shikaku-san. Your son is just like you in all sorts of ways especially the brains and lack of... ‘ambition’.”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “It is a clan affair, Hiashi. Not even I have the right to interfere, but I’m sure that we can work something out and I think that young Naruto is more than capable of handling even your clan. Your mother demonstrated her skill in that.”

Hiashi says, with a sigh, “Please do not remind me, Hokage-sama.”

There are plenty of giggles from the ninja council and Tsume says, with a grin, “I always liked Kushina. She had a smell that I didn’t like, but her personality was more than worth tolerating it. She was a real alpha, like her husband. And her pranks… She was the great ‘Queen of Pranks’ in her childhood.”

Shibi says, with a plain tone, “As much as this ‘trip down memory lane’ is interesting, we need to worry about the young Signers’ safety now more than ever since the fifth Signer has been revealed. It is interesting to know that he is from the same world that the Fudo twins are, but he has a heritage from the Elemental Countries.”

Hiashi asks, curiously, “But are we sure that he has that bloodline?”

Third Hokage says, with a nod, “He does, Hiashi-san. He is the last guardian of that ancient seal that Danzo tried to open with his foolish actions which is why he needs to be stopped here and now. All of you now know of the tragedy involved with the forbidden power sealed away and the boy and his family.”

Inoichi says, seriously, “Like I said, Hokage-sama, I can’t believe this boy is much like he is today. Like you said, the tragedy was the whole of Naruto’s horrible childhood wrapped up into one single day.”

Tsume says, with a smile, “Something tells me that our little ‘Hokage-to-be’ isn’t a one of kind, but two of a kind in this case.”

Third Hokage says, with a nod, “Motomiya-san seems to much like Naruto in personality in many ways and he will need that strength for the future. If Orochimaru learns of his heritage, he shall desire his bloodline abilities as well.”

Tsume says, with a snarl, “Speaking of that snake, where is he?”

Third Hokage says, with a sigh, “I had sent Hayate to find out what his confirmed spy, Kabuto, has been doing, but he has been found dead this morning.”

There are gasps of shock and Hiashi asks, seriously, “Killed by Kabuto?”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “Can’t be sure, Hiashi-san. However, Kabuto’s skills, as told by Kakashi, tells us that he may likely be Jonin level or so and he is very dangerous with his medical training under his adopting under the former chief of the medical corps, everyone.”

Shikaku replies, plainly, “Troublesome and we have no idea other than he wants Sasuke Uchiha, the five Signers, and the power of Naruto-sama’s bloodline, the Rinnegan, what Orochimaru wants. It is possible that he wants revenge on you, Hokage-sama. Or he may want to destroy the Leaf Village.”

Third Hokage says, with a nod, “I agree Shikaku-san. We can’t turn away from those possibilities along with what we know to be facts about why Orochimaru is here. We’ll need to be prepared and while we sent out invitation out for the final part of the Chunin Exams, we are going to need to meet to discuss possibilities of invasion and how to counter it.”

Shibi asks, plainly, “Do you think that Cloud and Sand are involved? From what we need, both of them have sent their Jinchuriki here. The One-Tailed container from Sand and the Two and Eight-Tailed Jinchuriki from Cloud as Jonin instructions.”

Third Hokage says, plainly, “I’m not sure about the Sand since we have been allies for a long time, but the Cloud’s Jinchuriki aren’t here for that or they don’t know about their villages involvement in any invasion. Based on what Hayabusa-sama and Jiraiya told me, they are here because the Signers are in their village. The current Raikage, who is the Eight-Tailed Jinchuriki’s brother, fears of us using the Crimson Dragon against the Cloud Village and Land of Lightning since the Crimson Dragon is even more powerful the Nine-Tailed Fox.”

Hiashi says, with a snarl, “They should be afraid after what they have tried to do.”

Third Hokage tells Hiashi, “Hiashi, it was the current Raikage’s predecessor that made the attempt to kidnap your daughter and brought about that ‘incident’.”

Hiashi says, with a sneer, “I do not care, Hokage-sama. Forgive for acting this way, but I do not trust him after that ‘incident’ and I do not trust them being close to the Signers, who my daughter is one of them.”

Third Hokage says, with a nod, “We haven’t forgotten that fact, Hiashi-san. And we are making sure that there is an eye on the Cloud ninja here especially their Jinchuriki.”

Inoichi tells Third Hokage, “Hokage-sama, what about the Sand? Based on what you and Naruto-sama have seen, the One-Tailed Jinchuriki, is highly unstable mentally, due to the understanding of the One-Tailed monster that lies within him. I don’t think that they have brought him here just to see if they can get him to Chunin.”

Third Hokage says, with a sigh, “I fear that you may be right, Inoichi. However, until we have proof, we can’t do anything or make any assumptions, but we can’t rule anything out. And now, with Hayate’s death, I fear that there is something indeed great and sinister going on that Orochimaru is in the center of. But we can’t be sure that he and his Sound Village have any allies in whatever they are planning. For now, we shall make public Danzo’s treason, but as you know, we can’t go too much into details or we might encourage Orochimaru or others of our weakness for now.”

Hiashi says, with a nod, “Agreed, Hokage-sama.”

Shikaku says, with a sigh, “Troublesome, Hokage-sama, but I will go along with it.” The rest of the ninja council nod their heads and they prepare to adjourn their meeting in order for the Third Hokage and they to announce Danzo’s new criminal status.

(A short time later; Back to Naruto’s training area)

Elsewhere, we find Ryu, Ayane, Ninja Ryu, Ninja Ayane, Kalin, Leon, Haku, Momiji, Kasumi, and finally, Davis and Veemon are walking down towards where Naruto is trying to use the Rasengan, one of his father’s legendary jutsu.

Ninja Ryu asks Kasumi, “So, how did it go?”

Kasumi replies, with a deep breath, “It went well. Recently, the civilian council of this village lost their power since Danzo was made a traitor and I was allowed to join the Leaf Village. However, even through they feel that my reasons aren’t ‘bad’, I am on probation for awhile, but they feel that I should start out as a Chunin.” Kasumi says, with a smile, “I don’t know how much I can repay Naruto-sama for allowing me his clan’s protection even through he is the last of his clan.”

Ayane says, with a smile, “Naruto is a good person, Kasumi-san. He has a great heart and always willing to help those in need.”

Ryu tells Kasumi, “I don’t think that it is really okay that you are considered a ‘criminal’ just because you wanted to defend your own brother’s honor. I can’t condone the killing, but I can understanding fighting for his honor.”

Kasumi says, with a plain tone, “You can’t be really that harsh. It is the rule of the ninja villages and they have good reasons for that rule.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “It prevents enemies for getting vital secrets of the village that the ‘deserting’ ninja has on his or her which would put the village in danger.”

Kasumi can’t help to give a solemn nod and Ninja Ryu tells Ninja Ayane, “Even through you are not saying that about your sister, Ayane-san, I think that you should watch what you say in front of your sister. You, yourself, care about your half-brother a lot, do you not?”

Ninja Ayane replies, a bit nervously, “I do… Ryu-sensei.” Kasumi is surprised by Ninja Ayane’s reaction to Ninja Ryu’s question in which Ninja Ayane says, regaining her composer, “However, I didn’t mean to mean any insult to my elder half-sister. I was stating a general danger to a village about having one of their ninja leave the village like that.”

Kasumi thinks in her mind, with a warm smile, “Ayane-nee-chan…”

Haku says, with a nod, “I believe that Kasumi-sama understands that Hayabusa-sama.”

Veemon says, amazed, “This village is very pretty. It is so full of flowers, trees, and so many plants.”

Davis says, with a smile, “It is the only thing that I like about this place, Veemon. This place doesn’t have too many industrial plants, so, they don’t use things that would damage nature, but they also respect nature a lot.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “They live in pretty good harmony with nature through not with each other usually.”

Leon asks Ninja Ryu, “By the way, was that ‘guest’ your idea?”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “The Hokage was reluctant about the idea, but I had managed to convince him that it was a good idea.”

Kalin says Ninja Ryu, “Her actions in the tournament and that she is from the village that this Orochimaru made doesn’t make her seem that willing to aid us.”

Ninja Ryu tells Kalin, “We, ninja, learn look underneath what we see, my friend.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “Her voice didn’t contain any lies and even through she was the way that she was in the tournament, her voice spoke only truth. And most likely, Orochimaru would have killed her for some kind of use in some kind of horrible use to attack this village.”

Kasumi says, with a nod, “I agree with my sister. He is just like the people in the DOAETC that used me and my nii-chan’s beloved sensei and surrogate father to create their ‘ultimate fighter’.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “It is for the best and most likely, since the Hokage and the ninja council are in control of the village, there will not be trouble for you, Kasumi.”

Leon says, with a plain tone, “With all that’s going on, we need less trouble.”

Ayane says, looking around, “Where is Naruto? This is the area that he was training in yesterday with that pervert.” It was at that moment they hear a loud moan of disappoint in which they look to see Naruto falling to the ground on his bottom and dropping a rubber ball.

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Man! This is harder than I thought!”

Haku calls out, “Naruto-sama!” Naruto looks to see the group coming towards him in which he smiles and waves when he sees them.

Naruto says, with a grin, “Hey, everyone!”

Ayane asks Naruto, “What are you up to Naruto?”

Naruto says, with a smile, “Trying to finish the second step on learning my father’s jutsu, Ayane.” Naruto says, holding up the rubber ball, “I figured out a way to make my chakra swirl around in my hand to make a water balloon pop and now, I need to do the same thing with rubber balloon and it is much tougher.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “I can understand why. The water aided your chakra to rotate within it, but this ball is solid require you to use more chakra and focusing that chakra more to get it to pop.”

Naruto says, amazed, “More focus, huh? Man, I wish that I paid attention in Iruka-sensei’s classes especially on focusing chakra.”

Davis asks, with a grin, “Didn’t like school, huh?”

Naruto says, with a sigh, “It was just lessons, lessons, and more lessons on the Hokages, history, and nothing really cool like jutsu or stuff.”

Veemon says, with a giggle, “He is a lot like you, Davis!”

Davis replies, drolly, “Thanks a lot, Veemon!”

Ryu tells Naruto, “Maybe you should take a breather. We are going to need to go back to you know where.”

Naruto says, excitedly, “Oh, yeah! That place that contained that cool Dragon Sword and that Millennium Puzzle!”

Davis says, amazed, “I still can’t believe that those Millennium Items that I learned in duel classes are real and they’re back! They were supposed to have been buried for decades!”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “They are back, Davis-san. And the Millennium Puzzle is down there.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “And that nut job, Marik or his evil side whatever, fought me in a Shadow Duel, but I took him out taking his special staff and his really cool Egyptian God Card in the process!”

Ayane says, with a smile, “You were really amazing out there, Naruto!”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Thanks, Ayane!” Soon enough, Naruto gets to his feet and joins up with the group as they head right into trench/cliff where the cave that contains the Dragon Sword and Millennium Puzzle was.

Veemon says, amazed, “That’s a long way down.”

Davis says, with a nod, “No joke buddy.” Davis says, holding up his D-3 digivice, “But we have our way down, pal!”

Veemon says, excitedly, “Yeah, Davis!” The others wonder what Davis and Veemon are planning, but then Davis’ digivice glows with a bright light.

Digivolution

“Veemon Digivolve to… ExVeemon!”

End Digivolution

In place of our small blue dragon, ExVeemon stretches his arms and Naruto yelps as he sees the big blue and white dragon.

Naruto yells out, stunned, “Whoa! How did he get so big?!”

ExVeemon says, with a grin, “I digivolved from Veemon into ExVeemon!”

Ayane asks, curiously, “Digivolved?”

Ninja Ryu says, “It is a Digimon’s evolutionary process. You and your… ‘former’ teammates explained about how a Digimon evolves from one form into a higher one.”

Davis says, with a smile, “That’s right! And as you can see, ExVeemon is ready to fly!” Davis then jumps into one of ExVeemon’s hands and he puts him on one of his shoulders. Davis says, with a smile, “Okay, ExVeemon has a shoulder handy if anyone wants to jump on!”

Naruto says, nervously, “Sorry, but I think I’ll take a ride on Ayane’s Black Rose Dragon!”

Davis asks, perplexed, “How can you ride a hologram?”

Ryu tells Davis, “Our mother was a ‘Psychic Duelist’ and my sister inherited her powers.”

Davis yells out, stunned, “Hold up! You mean one of those guys and gals that can make Duel Monsters’ cards become real through some kind of unusual mental powers and that stuff?!”

Ayane says, with a nod, “That’s right, Davis!” Soon after, Ayane brings out her Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800) and many of the others go onto its back in which Ninja Ryu joins Davis on ExVeemon.

Davis says, amazed, “Now, I have seen everything.”

ExVeemon says, with a nod, “You said it, buddy.” Soon after, ExVeemon and Black Rose Dragon head down with their passengers into the caverns, but what they don’t know is that some figures were watching them and then head off into the distance.

(A good time afterwards; Deep within the caverns)

Back in front of the pedestal containing both the mysterious Dragon Sword and the Millennium Puzzle, we find Shadi waiting in which we find our group walking into the caverns.

Shadi says, plainly, “You have returned with the fifth Signer, but you are missing one.”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “Hinata-chan is still recovering from her nasty experience is that bastard of a cousin of hers.”

Shadi says, with a smile, “Do not, young Signer. I already know and due to the Crimson Dragon, her wounds were healed and she will be out by the end of the day. But it is wise to make sure of that. Those taking care of you and your leader are indeed wise.”

Ninja Ryu asks Shadi, “So, what do the Signers need to do to claim the Millennium Puzzle and the Dragon Sword?”

Shadi replies, “The Dragon Sword is the one that shall test the person. The one that the Dragon Sword choose shall be able to lift and remove it with ease.”

Ryu asks Shadi, “And we need to duel to claim the puzzle?”

Shadi tells Ryu, with a nod, “Indeed, Signer Ryu Fudo. Your test is a duel, but it shall be not against me.” Just then a rumbling sound is heard and out of the wall, a pair of golden doors with the Millennium Symbol on them appears and open up. Shadi yells out, “Your opponent is the owner of the Millennium Puzzle in ancient times and the one that defeated the vile creature that started the Shadow Games themselves!” From the light, there is a familiar figure from the doors and out of the doors, it looks like an adult Yugi Moto with a Battle City Duel Disk attached to his left wrist and dueling deck inside of the duel disk emerging from it.

Ayane asks, stunned, “Is that the first King of Games, Yugi Moto?”

Leon says, shaking his head, “I don’t think so.”

Shadi says, with a plain tone, “You are correct, Leon Yuki. This is the great Pharaoh Atem, who once inhabited the Millennium Puzzle when he sealed his spirit in there along with the evil Zorc, but with the help of Yugi Moto, who allowed the great Pharaoh to share his form, and his friends, Pharaoh Atem saved the world from Zorc by defeating him once and for all. He was sent into the afterlife after losing to Yugi Moto in a final duel, but now, he is here to test you, the Signers, if you are worthy of being the new keepers of his Millennium Items.”

Atem looks at the group carefully and he asks Shadi, “Are these the ones that bare the Crimson Dragon’s mark?”

Shadi tells the group, “Young Signers, I humbly ask that you show my Pharaoh the signs that mark you as the great warriors of the Crimson Dragon, one of the entities that protect this world and mankind.” Davis, Ryu, Ayane, and Naruto then display their ‘Marks of the Dragon’ to him, but then the Millennium Symbol appears on Atem’s forehead and the four ‘Marks of the Dragon’ glow in unison causing the Crimson Dragon to appear in a bright crimson light and with a mighty roar.

Atem yells out, stunned, “My words!”

Shadi says, with a nod, “It is as they say, my pharaoh. The Crimson Dragon welds power rivaling your Egyptian God monsters.”

Atem says, with a nod, “Indeed, Shadi. I also sense great wisdom as well as strength within this mighty dragon.” Atem tells the Crimson Dragon, “It is an honor to meet, mighty Crimson Dragon.” The Crimson Dragon roars out as if saying the same thing to Atem. Soon after, the Crimson Dragon vanishes in which Atem’s forehead and the right arms of our four Signers stop glowing.

Shadi tells Atem, “My Pharaoh, one of the Signers suffered an injury earlier that while healed with help from the Crimson Dragon, she will need time to recover and be assured of her full health.”

Atem says, with a nod, “Understandable.” Atem tells the group, “It is an honor to meet you, Signers. As well as your friends.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a bow, “It is the same Pharaoh Atem-sama. You and the Shadow Games are well-known in these lands. You must know the situation.”

Atem says, with a nod, “I do. It is what roused my spirit from its eternal sleep in the Spirit World. The world is in great danger, even more than before. And Marik’s evil side, from the Shadow Realm, caused the seven items to be returned to the world and scattered all about. He managed to get back his Millennium Rod and escape from the Shadow Realm, but then I sensed someone had defeated him and return.”

Naruto says, nervously, “That would be me and I also took that God Card that he took from you.” Atem and Shadi gasp in which Naruto takes the Winged Dragon of Ra (????/????) God Monster card from his deck and show it to them.

Ayane says, excitedly, “He also used it against him too! He managed to say the ancient texts on it!”

Shadi asks, stunned, “The young Signer read the ancient texts on the Winged Dragon of Ra?!”

Naruto replies, nervously, “I did. It was like my own language! It felt kind of weird.”

Atem’s lips curl up into a smile and he says, “Interesting.”

Ninja Ryu tells Atem and Shadi, “There is something else, Atem-sama. Recently, the four Signers here have had a vision of a great battle in which the enemy of the Signers were joined by many forces of evil including Zorc and the Great Leviathan.”

Atem asks, shocked, “Are you sure?”

Ninja Ayane says, with a nod, “Based on what they described, yes. They also saw themselves fighting with your Egyptian God Monsters, Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra, against this evil.”

Atem says, with a nod, “I see. So, you wish to battle me for the other two God Cards as well as the Millennium Puzzle? I can understand why and I sensed it myself. You’ll need more the might of that great dragon and its five dragon warriors that I heard about. However, I can’t just give you Obelisk and Slifer. You must prove your worth in a duel for them. If you manage to defeat me, I shall give the final two God Cards to you.”

Shadi asks, a bit nervously, “Are you sure about this my Pharaoh?”

Atem replies, with a nod, “I know your reservations, but if one of the Signers can use the mightiest of my God Cards and their vision are any indications, then the three Egyptian God Cards will be needed again to protect this world. However, the Signers need to be tested of their worthiness of welding three of the most powerful creatures in Duel Monsters.” Atem asks, displaying his duel disk, “Who shall challenge me?”

Ryu says, stepping forward, “I’ll take that challenge, Atem. I’m Ryu, the Signer of the Crimson Dragon’s head, like my dad, Yusei Fudo, the last one to inherit Yugi’s title as ‘King of Games’.”

Atem asks, curiously, “What happened to him?”
Shadi tells Atem, “From what I have learned, the previous Signers were murdered by ninja of this land in order to attempt to get the Crimson Dragon’s power since they know the five ‘Marks of the Dragon’ that contain the Crimson Dragon’s power would be passed onto five worthy successors in which they knew that Yusei Fudo’s children, who are also the children of another Signer, Akiza Izinski Fudo, would be passed on.”

Atem gives a look of shock, then anger, and he tells Ryu, with a kind tone, “I see. I am sorry for your loss.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “We’ll make sure that our parents rest in peace by stopping the one that killed them and saving the world like our parents and family did before twice."

Atem says, with a smile, “Your spirit warms mine and shows that you truly fight with honor, young Ryu.” Atem says, seriously, “Now, it is time to begin!” Atem’s and Ryu’s duel disks activate, Ryu’s deck is shuffled by his duel disk, and both duel disks display 4000 life-points as they draw five cards from their decks.

Atem says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I’ll end my turn with two face-down cards.”

Ryu says, drawing a card, “My draw!”

Leon says, with a plain tone, “Even through the pharaoh is playing what you guys call an ‘old fashioned deck’, one without Synchro Monsters, he can still be very deadly and powerful.”

Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play Speed Warrior in attack mode!” Immediately, Speed Warrior (900/400) appears on the field in attack mode.

Atem says, with a plain tone, “Your monster is weaker than mine.”

Ryu says, with a grin, “But Speed Warrior gets double its power during the Battle Phase of the turn that it is summoned!” Speed Warrior’s stats rise from 900/400 to 1800/400 and Ryu yells out, “Attack Beta with Hyper Sonic Slash!”  Speed Warrior moves in and destroys Beta with a powerful kick causing Atem to lose 100 life-points.

Atem says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Very good, Ryu. But now, I play my trap: Flat Level Four!” Atem’s face-down card is revealed to be the Flat Level 4 trap card and Atem says, with a plain tone, “Since my monster is destroyed, we can play one level four monster from our decks!” Atem and Ryu take a card from their decks and Atem says, putting his card on his duel disk, “Go, Big Shield Gardna in defense mode!” Just then Big Shield Gardna (100/2600) appears on the field in defense mode.

Ryu says, putting his card on his duel disk, “And I choose Max Warrior in defense mode as well!” Max Warrior (1800/800) appears on the field in defense mode. Ryu says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two face-downs as well.” Soon after, Speed Warrior’s stats return back to normal soon after.

Atem yells out, strongly, “Gilfer, attack his Speed Warrior with Gilfer Flame!” Gilfer unleashes a blast of dark flames right Speed Warrior destroying him a powerful explosion.

Ryu says, pushing a button, “I play my Defense Draw trap card!” Ryu’s face-down card is revealed to be the Defense Draw trap card and Ryu says, drawing a card, “This card negates all battle damage and let’s me draw a card.”

Atem says, with a grin, “Well played, Ryu.” Atem says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with one card face-down.”

Ryu says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Ryu says, putting discarding one card and then putting one card on his duel disk, “I send one monster from my hand to my graveyard in order to special summon the Tuner monster, Quickdraw Synchron in attack mode!” Immediately, Quickdraw Synchron (700/1400) appears on the field in attack mode.

Atem asks, perplexed, “Tuner monster?”

Ryu says, with a grin, “Duel Monsters has evolved since your days, Atem-sama. Let me show you! I activate the ability of the monster that I sent to the graveyard: Quillbolt Hedgehog! When there is a Tuner monster on the field, I can revive this card from my graveyard!” Just then Quillbolt Hedgehog (800/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu yells out, “And now, I tune my Quickdraw Synchron with my Quillbolt Hedgehog in order to Synchro Summon my Nitro Warrior!” Quickdraw Synchron then turns into five stars that turn into five rings that surround Quillbolt Hedgehog making him become transparent as a column of light appears on the field. Ryu takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck and exclaims, putting the card on his duel disk, “Nitro Warrior, let’s rev it up!” Out of the light, Nitro Warrior (2800/1800) appears on the field in attack mode.

Atem says, amazed by the creature, “Incredible. I never knew that Duel Monsters has evolved to such a level.”

Ryu yells out, strongly, “And now, I switch Max Warrior into attack mode!” Max Warrior then switches from defense mode to attack mode in which Ryu calls out, “Nitro Warrior, destroy his Gilfer with Dynamite Crunch!” Nitro Warrior attacks Archfiend of Gilfer and destroys with a mighty blow in which Atem groans as he loses 600 life-points through he isn’t really injured.

Atem says, with a grin, “Your creature might be powerful, but my Gilfer has an ability of its own! Now, its attached itself to one of your monsters which loses five hundred attack points!” Just then an image of Gilfer comes out of the graveyard and goes into Nitro Warrior causing its stats to go down from 2800/1800 to 2300/1800.

Ryu says, seriously, “But my Max Warrior can still give you some direct damage!” Max Warrior then launches its attack right at Atem directly.

Atem says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I think not, young Signer! I activate my trap: Waboku!” Atem’s face-down card is revealed to be the Waboku trap card and as three maidens appear to protect him from Max Warrior’s attack, he says, with a smile, “Due to this trap card, all damage to me becomes zero!”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “That’s strange. He could have used that to also prevent his monster being destroyed.”

Leon says, with a plain tone, “You’re right, Kalin. Something tells me that he wanted that monster destroyed to use its special ability on Nitro Warrior.”

Ayane asks, curiously, “Really?”

Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn!”

Atem says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Call of the Haunted trap card!” Atem’s face-down card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted continuous trap card and he says, “And now, I can return one monster from my graveyard! And I choose my Beta the Magnet Warrior!” Immediately, Beta the Magnet Warrior (1700/1600) reappears on the field in attack mode. Atem says, putting one card on his duel disk, “And now, I sacrifice my two monsters in order to play my Dark Magician!” Both monsters vanish from the field and Dark Magician (2500/2100) appears on the field in attack mode.

Leon yells out, amazed, “Oh, wow! That’s one of the legendary cards of Yugi’s and even my dad’s generation!”

Atem yells out, strongly, “Dark Magician, destroy Nitro Warrior with Dark Magic Attack!” Dark Magician gives a powerful battle cry as he attacks with a mystic energy sphere that destroys Nitro Warrior causing Ryu to lose 200 life-points. Atem tells Dark Magician, “Nice work, my old friend.”

Dark Magician says, in a male voice, “My pharaoh, I’ve come once again to aid you in your battle.”

Naruto asks, stunned, “Is it me or did that monster just talk?”

Ninja Ayane says, plainly, “It is said that monster was the created from the spirit of Atem’s best friend, a powerful magician, fused with his personal monster to protect his leader and best friend for all time.”

Davis yells out, amazed, “Whoa!”

Atem says, putting the last two cards in his hand into the spell/trap slots, “I shall end with two cards face-down.”

And Graceful Revival allows me to revive one level two or less monster from my grave! So, with Limit Reverse, I revive Quickdraw Synchron and I choose Speed Warrior to revive with my Graceful Revival!” Just then Quickdraw Synchron (700/1400) and Speed Warrior (900/400) return to the field in attack mode. Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Then I play my Tuningware in attack mode too!” Immediately, Tuningware (100/300) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu yells out, “And now, I tune my Quickdraw Synchron with Speed Warrior and Tuningware in order to Synchro Summon Junk Destroyer!” Quickdraw Synchron turns into five stars that turn into five rings that surround Speed Warrior and Tuningware making them become transparent. When a column of light appears on the field, Ryu takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck and he shouts out, putting the card on his duel disk, “Junk Destroyer, let’s rev it up!” Out of the light, Junk Destroyer (2600/2500) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, drawing a card, “And when Tuningware is used for a Synchro, I can draw one more card from my deck! And now, Junk Destroyer, when successfully Synchro Summoned, can destroy cards on the field equal to the non-Tuner monsters used and that’s two cards!”

Atem says, shocked, “Oh no!”

Ryu yells out, pointing to two cards, “I choose Dark Magician and the card on the right!” Junk Destroyer unleashes a wave of energy right at them preparing to destroy those cards.

Atem says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I play my trap: Dark Illusion!” Atem’s face-down card is revealed to be the Dark Illusion trap card and Atem says, as a Dark Magician vanishes from an energy wave that was about to hit, “My trap prevents you from destroy my Magician from card effects and battle for this turn!” On the meanwhile, the energy wave destroys Atem other face-down card revealed to be a Mirror Force trap card. Atem says, with a plain tone, “And now, you draw one card, Ryu.”

Ryu draws a card and Ryu yells out, “But my monster can still damage your life-points, Atem! Attack with Destroy Knuckles!” Junk Destroyers attacks Dark Magician, but due to Atem’s trap card, he isn’t destroyed. However, Atem still loses 100 life-points due to the difference in attack points. Ryu says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with two cards face-down and switching my Max Warrior to defense!” Max Warrior then switches from attack more to defense mode.

Ryu says, nervously, “Oh, boy!”

Atem yells out, strongly, “Go, Dark Magician! Destroy his Max Warrior!” Dark Magician attacks Max Warrior and destroys with one slice with his new spear in which Ryu takes 2100 life-points of damage!

Ayane says, worriedly, “Ryu!”

Atem says, putting a card into the spell/trap slots, “I shall end my turn with a face-down!”

Ryu yells out, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Shield Warrior in defense mode!” Then Shield Warrior (800/1600) appears on the field in defense mode and Ryu yells out, “Junk Destroyer, destroy his Dark Magician now!” Junk Destroyer launches its attack again and Dark Magician yelps out as he is hit in which destroying and costing Atem 100 life-points.

Atem yells out, stunned, “Oh no, my Dark Magician!”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “That’s my turn for now.”

Atem says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play my Silent Doom! This allows me to revive one monster in defense mode! And I choose my Beta!” Beta the Magnet Warrior (1700/1600) appears on the field in defense mode. Atem says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Change of Heart! Now, I get control one of your monsters for this turn and I choose your Shield Warrior!” Then Shield Warrior goes from Ryu’s field to Atem’s field which confused them.

Leon asks, perplexed, “Why did he take Ryu’s Shield Warrior and not his Junk Destroyer?”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “I believe that Atem-sama is planning something ‘big’.”

Atem then says, putting another card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Fiend’s Sanctuary and gives me one Metal Fiend Token in attack mode!” Just then one Metal Fiend Token (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode.

Kalin says, eyes widening, “I believe that I know what he is doing.”

Atem yells out, putting one card on his duel disk, “And now, I release these three monsters to play my mighty Egyptian God Card: Obelisk the Tormentor!” All three monsters then vanish in spirals of light and then a column of light erupts from behind Atem in which Obelisk the Tormentor (4000/4000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Ayane yells out, shocked, “He just played another of those Egyptian God Cards!”

Atem says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I play my Cold Wave spell card! This card prevents us from playing or setting any more spell or trap cards until my next turn!” Just then a freezing wave freezes Ryu’s two face-down cards in which he gasps in shock and surprise, but then Atem calls out, “Obelisk, destroy his Junk Destroyer with your mighty Fist of Fate!” Obelisk unleashes its powerful attack and crushes Junk Destroyer in which Ryu yelps as his monster is destroyed causing him to lose 1400 life-points.

Naruto says, stunned, “Oh man! Ryu got hit hard!”

Atem says, with a plain tone, “I end my turn!”

Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Since you have monsters and I don’t, I can special summon Vice Dragon from my hand!” Just then Vice Dragon (2000/2400-1000/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Ryu says, with a smile, “But since I summoned it this way, it’s power is cut in half!” Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Then I play my Tuner monster, Junk Synchron, in attack mode!” Immediately, Junk Synchron (1300/500) appears on the field in attack mode and Ryu says, with a plain tone, “And now, I can summon one monster back from my grave as long as he is a level two or below! Kick it up, Speed Warrior!” Speed Warrior (900/400) returns to the field in defense mode and Ryu says, strongly, “And now, I tune my Vice Dragon and my Junk Synchron in order to bring out my deck’s greatest monster!” Junk Synchron turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Vice Dragon making it become transparent as well as causing a column of light to appear on the field. When Ryu takes a Synchro Monster card out of his Extra deck, he chants out, “Clustering hopes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” When Ryu puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk, he yells out, “Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the column of light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode causing all four Signers’ ‘Marks of the Dragon’ to glow.

Atem asks, amazed, “What is this?”

Shadi says, with a plain tone, “I believe that this is one of the legendary dragons that fought with the Crimson Dragon millennia ago, my pharaoh.”

Atem says, with a smile, “So it is, Shadi.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “I end my turn.”

Atem says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn and since it is my turn, all trap and spell cards can be used again!” Atem yells out, “But now, Obelisk, end this duel with your Fist of Fate!” Obelisk roars as it prepares to destroy Stardust Dragon in with its might fists.

Ryu says, pushing a button, “I activate my trap card: Power Frame!” Ryu’s face-down card is revealed to be the Power Frame trap card and he yells out, “Since one of your monsters is attacking mine, this card negates that attack!” A square-like device appears in front of Stardust Dragon and creates a shield to negate the attack.

Atem says, with a smile, “You thought this out, didn’t you? You know that Egyptian God Cards can’t be destroyed by traps, but you can negate their attacks by them if they are the right ones.”

Ryu says, with a smile, “However, there is more! This card gets equipped to my Stardust Dragon and its attack points go up to match Obelisk’s attack points!” Immediately, Stardust Dragon’s stats rise from 2500/2000 to 4000/2000!

Atem says, amazed, “Your dragon now rivals my God card in attack points?! Incredible!” Atem says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with a face-down card.”

Ryu says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play Second Booster in attack mode!” Immediately, Second Booster (1000/500) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, putting one card into spell/trap slots, “I activate my Pump Up spell card and double Stardust Dragon’s attack points!” Stardust Dragon’s stats go up from 4000/2000 to 8000/2000!

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Awesome! Ryu has got him now!”

However, Atem is still smiling and Ryu yells out, “Stardust Dragon, take out his God Monster with Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon unleashes a powerful blast at Obelisk the Tormentor.

Atem yells out, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I activate the trap card, Sakuretsu Armor!” Atem’s face-down card is revealed to be Sakuretsu Armor trap card and he yells out, “Now, your attacking monster is automatically destroyed!”

Ryu yells out, “Stardust Dragon’s ability activates! By releasing Stardust Dragon, I can negate the effect of a card destroying a monster! Victim Sanctuary!” Stardust Dragon turns into stardust sparkles that destroys Atem’s trap card in which Ryu says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “After using this ability, Stardust Dragon can return during the End Phase of the turn that his ability was used! But I play my Stardust Flash trap card!” Ryu’s other face-down card is revealed to be Stardust Flash trap card and he yells out, “Now, I can revive one Stardust Dragon in my grave if he used his ability this turn!” Immediately, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) reappears on the field in attack mode.

Atem says, with a smile, “But your power boost is gone, Ryu.”

Ryu replies, with a smile, “That’s why Second Booster is here! By releasing him, one monster gains fifteen hundred attack points!” Second Booster goes into Stardust Dragon and its stats go up once more from 2500/2000 to 4000/2000! Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Rush Recklessly Quick-Play spell card and boosting Stardust’s strength by seven hundred attack points!” Stardust Dragon goes from 4000/2000 to 4700/2000 causing Atem to gasp in shock and Ryu yells out, “Let’s try this again, Stardust Dragon! Destroy Obelisk with Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon unleashes its attack once again, but this time, Obelisk is destroyed and Atem yelps as his God Monster crumbles in which he loses 700 life-points.

Leon says, amazing, “Ryu did it! He destroyed an Egyptian God Card, one of the legendary Duel Monsters!”

Atem says, with a smile, “Well done, Ryu, but this duel isn’t over yet.”

Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Actually, Atem-sama, it is! I play my Trap Booster allowing to play one trap from my hand as long as I discard one card!” Ryu discards one card to the graveyard and he puts in last card in his hand into the spell/trap slots causing a hologram of a Synchro Overlimit trap card. Ryu yells out, “Now, I play my final card: Synchro Overlimit! When a Synchro Monster destroys a monster in battle, it can attack one more time!”

Atem yells out, stunned, “That means…!!”

Ryu calls out, strongly, “This duel is over, Atem-sama! Stardust Dragon, end this duel with a direct attack! Finish it up with Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon attacks Atem directly this time and he yelps out as he is hit hard causing him to lose 4700 life-points and the duel itself.

Shadi is shocked to see the ancient pharaoh lose, but after the holograms fade away, Atem is smiling while plenty of the others are cheering.

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Way to go, Ryu!”

Davis calls out, “That was incredible!”

Atem tells Ryu, “Well done, Ryu. You have shown that you are truly a good duelist.”

Ryu says, with a smile, “Well, I really liked the duel, Atem-sama. It isn’t every day that you duel against a legendary Duel Monsters and it was close. Even with my modern day cards and tactics, you forced me into a corner. You are still a powerful duelist.”

Atem says, with a bow, “You honor me with your words and this shows that you are a great duelist yourself, Ryu. You duel with honor and respect.”

Ryu says, with a nod, “My dad taught my sister and I those things. He had a tough life, but he learned to be a really good person.”

Atem says, with a plain tone, “Your father must have been a great man if he taught your and your sister such things, Ryu. More so since he was chosen by the Crimson Dragon, a protector of humanity, to protect mankind and this planet. Even through we have never met, I moron the loss of your father and your family.”

Ayane says, with a nod and weak smile, “Thank you, Atem-sama.”

Atem tells Ayane, taking out two cards, “Please call me Atem, Ayane. And now, as promised, I give you these.” Atem throws the cards to Ryu and everyone comes to see Obelisk the Tormentor (4000/4000) and Slifer the Sky Dragon (X000/X000) God monsters cards in Ryu’s hands.

Ryu tells Atem, with a bow, “We won’t disgrace the honor that you have given us, Atem.”

Atem tells them, “I know that you won’t, Ryu. And I believe that I know how your friend, there, was able to use the Winged Dragon of Ra.”

Ninja Ayane asks, curiously, “You do?”

Shadi tells them, “There is a legend that when great evil threatens the world once more that twin heirs of Atem shall appear welding the powers of the Egyptian God Cards: The heir of Light and the heir of Shadows.”

Naruto asks, perplexed, “Huh?”

Ryu says, seriously, “Are you saying that the reason that we can use the Egyptian God cards is because one of us is one of Atem’s heirs?”

Shadi says, with a nod, “That’s correct. One of you, Signers, is the ‘heir of Light’ since the legend says that the heir of Light is a great warrior of light chosen by a creature that’s the living embodiment of the Light of Creation itself. The Crimson Dragon’s own power is the power of the Light of Creation itself. And since you, Signers, are linked together by the Crimson Dragon, which is an ancient power in itself, the bond with the ‘heir of Light’ and being the Crimson Dragon’s warrior, connected to the forces of the ancient world since the great battle of the Earthbound Immortals and Crimson Dragon took place around the same time as Pharaoh Atem battled Zorc allows you to weld the Egyptian Gods.”

Ninja Ryu asks, curiously, “And this heir of Shadows?”

Shadi says, with a plain tone, “The other heir is one filled with the ‘protecting shadows’ that protects the true light of the universe, the Light of Creation, from its evil counterpart known as Darklight also known as the Light of Destruction.”

Leon gasps and yells out, “My dad has that power! My dad held the powers of the darkness of the ‘Supreme King’, the great ruler of the Duel Monsters Spirit Realm, which is supposed to be the enemy of the Light of Destruction, who he had fought before.”

Shadi says, with a nod, “I believe that you are correct, Leon. The power of the ‘Supreme King’ is the ‘protecting shadows’ to protect the universe from the evil of the Light of Destruction, an evil light born of the power of destruction. This is a battle that’s different from the battles that your father, Pharaoh Atem and Yugi Moto, and the previous Signers have faced. This isn’t a battle of Light and Darkness which has been the case before, but this time, it is a battle against the forces of balance against those of destruction, both of whom are welding both light and darkness.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “And that makes finding your father, Jaden Yuki, more important than ever before.”

Naruto says, with a plain tone, “And it was already important, Kalin-san.” Just then the Millennium Puzzle floats up and goes into Ryu’s hands.

Atem says, with a plain tone, “Also as promised, the Millennium Puzzle is now under the care of the Signers, but only my true heirs can weld my Puzzle, young warriors.”

The group nods their heads in understanding and Davis asks, “Okay, what about the sword?”

Shadi says, “The Dragon Sword is a one of the most powerful weapons in existence, but it will only go to one that it considers worthy. Only the chosen one of this sword can lift it off the pedestal here. The task for seeing if you are worthy of this weapon’s power is for you to try to lift it up.”

Davis says, with a grin, “I’ll give it a go!” Davis goes up and tries to lift the Dragon Sword, but he can’t make it budge at all! Davis yells out, stunned, “Whoa! This sword looks light as a feather, but it is stuck tight!”
Ayane says, with a smile, “Let a girl have a go!” Ayane then tries her luck, but she doesn’t get to move anymore than Davis did. Soon after, Ryu tries himself, but he can’t make it move either.

Naruto asks, seriously as he comes up, “What about Hinata?”

Ninja Ayane says, plainly, “If you can’t lift it up, Naruto. We will bring her tomorrow to try.” Naruto gives a nod, but this time, when Naruto makes his attempt, the sword comes free with ease causing plenty of shocked looks!

Ayane yells out, amazed, “Whoa, you did it, Naruto!”

Naruto asks, stunned, “Me?”

Shadi tells Naruto, “Yes, young Naruto. The sword would not go into your hands if it did not feel that you are worthy. I am sure that you can feel its great power.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Yeah, I can.”

Shadi tells Naruto, “It is a great responsibility. Never forget it.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Don’t worry, I won’t. Believe it.”

Atem says, with a plain tone, “Our work here is done. Farewell, Signers. Remember, you have the power to chart the future of the world and mankind! Everyone is counting on you!” Soon after, Shadi and Atem then fade into golden particles and float up into the sky back to their eternal rest.

Davis says, with a plain tone, “That settles it for me. If the fight for the world is here, then I don’t care what happened, I’m here to do what’s right.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “You better believe it, Davis.” As they look on into the sky, the four Signers are now more determined than ever before to fight the evil that’s coming and save the world from whatever dangers that are coming to it, but the question is: Can they do it?

Naruto: This Dragon Sword is really cool! I’m not sure about taking my enemy’s chakra, but all’s fair, right?

Jiraiya: You might have a good new additional to your arsenal, gaki, but it won’t help you complete the Rasengan!

Naruto: Oh, man! This is really tough! Come on, rubber ball, pop! I’m really going to need to focus my chakra! Maybe I really should have pay attention when Iruka-sensei taught us that lesson!

Neko: Hokage-sama, another group of Outsiders is attacking the village!”

Kalin: Lotten, so you are back huh?

Lotten: That’s right, you little rat. I’m here to make sure that you pay for what you did. Due to you and Yusei, I lost everything. But since your poor friend is dead as a doornail, their kids are going to need to pay the price!

Davis: I don’t think so, pal! I’ll take you on in the place of Ryu’s and Ayane’s dad! Ready, Kalin?

Kalin: Indeed, Davis-san. I shall protect those two with my life as a promise to my friend as I promised another father so long ago. Let’s duel, Infernity Doom Dragon!

Davis: Black-Winged Dragon and… Let’s rev it, Stardust Dragon!

Naruto (excitedly): Awesome, the Chunin Exam finals are starting! And I’m ready to go!

Neji: So, you have arrived, Namikaze? It is time for you to learn a lesson.

Naruto: No way, asshole! The only one that’s learning a lesson is you! Take this! Rasengan!

Third Hokage (amazed): So, he has done it! He has learned one of his father’s greatest jutsu!

Jiraiya (slyly): That and more, Old Man! Just watch!

And now, Naruto has a brand new powerful sword and our Signers have claimed the Millennium Puzzle and all three Egyptian God Cards! The final Signer, Davis Motomiya of the Digidestined, joins the Signers team and he seems to have some history. So many questions, but the answers will come in due time, fans! And that’s right, Naruto is going to have the Rasengan in his fight against Neji this time, but that’s the only reason there are changes in this fight.
