We’ve come to the next chapter and there are going to be big things coming up! Another big duel and the first match of the Chunin Exams with our hero, Naruto, taking center stage, but that’s enough for now! You are going to have to read to find out, everyone! In all honesty, things are going to be heating up for all of our heroes and heroines in the upcoming chapters and there are plenty of surprises! Some good and some of them… not as much, folks! Chapter 13: Western Games and Finals Fame

Within a mysterious place, we find ourselves in a darkened room where a figure is watching five holograms of the five Signers with images displaying their dueling battles so far.

The mysterious figure says, with a plain tone, “So, the five Signers have been assembled at last, huh? Excellent, as it should be. Now, the games can truly begin.”

(Joining up with Naruto; Days after Ryu’s duel with Atem)

Right now, we find ourselves with Naruto as he forces and focuses his chakra into the rubber ball in his hand with great intensity and the rubber balls glows with the intense chakra that he is putting into it. He focuses his chakra to cause the rubber ball to burst and it does with such force that it throws Naruto through the air just above the ground in which he lands and goes into an intense skid causing a large skid to form where his body is skidding across the ground. He would have continued on only if Jiraiya stops him with his foot and focusing his chakra into his legs.

Jiraiya thinks, seeing burns on Naruto’s right hand, “Incredible! The chakra was so intense that it burned his hand! Go to hand it to Kushina’s gaki! He is really amazing like his mother!”

Haku appears and Haku asks, seriously, “Jiraiya-sama, what happened here?”

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “Easy, Haku. Naruto just overdid it on his training.”

Naruto turns his head and he says, weakly, “What do you know? I did it, Pervy Sage.”

Jiraiya says, with a sly grin, “You sure did, gaki. Good work, Naruto. You have just completed the second step.”

Naruto says, weakly, “Come on already… Pervy Sage… show me the third step…” However, Naruto falls into unconsciousness due to the intense chakra exhaustion that he put himself through to complete this step in the Rasengan training.

Jiraiya says, shaking his head, “Not right now, gaki. You are going to need to take a break.”

Haku says, amazed, “The chakra that Naruto-sama used must have been intense.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Yep! But thanks to you-know-what, he’ll be all right by tomorrow. Even he has taken the fox’s chakra, the enhanced healing that he got from it and his Uzumaki heritage is still in place.”

Haku says, amazed, “It has only been a few days since Ryu-sama defeated the spirit of the ancient Egyptian Pharaoh to claim the remaining two Egyptian God cards and the Millennium Puzzle as well as he claiming the Dragon Sword.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “You have to remember who his mother is, Haku. And he is exactly like her. He had to work hard to perfect it, but once shown a jutsu, he will get it done perfectly like his mom did.”

Haku asks Jiraiya, “Do you think that Naruto-sama will complete the Rasengan training in the time that he set himself for?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “He has done a good job so far, Haku! It hasn’t been even a week since the end of the preliminaries and he has two of the three steps down!” Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “However, the third step is going to be the hardest of them all, so, he is going to have to work hard at it.”

Haku tells Jiraiya, “Should I hold off on Hayabusa-sama’s training that he wants me to do with Naruto-sama?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “I really don’t think so, Haku. He has made progress, hasn’t it? I saw it.”

Haku says, with a nod, “I see, Jiraiya-sama. Hayabusa-sama’s theory on the Rinnegan seems to be very much true.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “And the gaki seems to be surprising more and more, Haku. I think that we can arrange to see if he can replicate the First Hokage’s jutsu.”

Haku asks, surprised, “But I thought that the First Hokage was the only one who could use it and when he died, it went with him. How can we get someone to teach Naruto-sama Wood Release jutsu?”

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “Anko’s Curse Seal isn’t the only legacy of Orochimaru that he left in the village when he abandoned it, Haku.” Haku’s eyes widen and then become serious knowing at what Jiraiya is implying.

(Some distance from the Leaf Village; on the meanwhile)

Within the Fire Country, we find a group of motorcycle Duel Runners with one massive Duel Runner with its front head in the form of a drilling machine going through the area with serious abandon in which the person in the drill-like Duel Runner is a male with brown hair in a short ponytail and brown eyes in which he wearing cowboy style clothing.

One of the persons on one of the Runners nearby this person says, plainly, “Boss, are you sure about this?”

The man on the drill-like Duel Runner replies, with a grin, “Oh, yeah! It doesn’t matter that people are super-powered freaks or something. They don’t know of the tech back home and they are running scared at the sight of us so there is nothing standing in our way.”

Another person on another Runner yells out, “Do you really need to take on this guy, Lawton?”

The man on the drill-like Duel Runner replies, with a sneer, “Oh, yeah. I lost everything and those people in the town have gained enough backbone that I can’t retake the mines and such without bringing Sector Security down on us. It’s too bad that Yusei Fudo is already dead. His children have to pay the price for this dad’s actions against me along with Kalin.” The man on the drill-like Duel Runner, Lawton, gives an evil laugh as he prepares for revenge against Kalin and Yusei’s children.

(A few days later; within the village)

Today, we find Naruto having an air filled balloon in his hands in which he is doing the third step of the Rasengan training, but he groans as the air balloon pops in his hands.

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Man! This was easier when Pervy Sage did it!”

Flashback; About one day earlier

Right now, we find Jiraiya and Naruto together as Naruto prepares to learn the third step to master the Rasengan training and use his father’s jutsu.

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Come on, Pervy Sage! You said there were three steps and now, I need to learn the third and final step!”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Keep your jumpsuit on, gaki. First, take this.” Jiraiya then hands Naruto a regular balloon and Naruto gives a look of confusion.

Naruto asks, perplexed, “A regular balloon?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “The final step to using the Rasengan is this.” Jiraiya then holds up another balloon and Naruto looks at it in which nothing seems to be happening.

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “What do you mean ‘this’, Pervy Sage?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Ah, it seems like I’m not doing anything, huh? But you’re wrong!”

Naruto replies, a bit annoyed and confused, “What do you mean? That’s all that you are doing, Pervy Sage.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Let me show with my left hand and show you what’s really happening.” Jiraiya then forms a Rasengan in his right hand and Naruto gasps in shock. Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Look at that, gaki! Just like a mini-tornado huh? I think that it is good to show you this jutsu! Your first name has two meanings, but the meaning that they liked was Malestrom.”

Naruto asks, amazed, “So, the thing happening in your left hand is the same thing happening in your right?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “That’s right, Naruto!” Jiraiya says, with a grin, “You need to put everything that you learned so far and maintain it! You need to focus of a thin membrane inside of the balloon and compress the chakra inside of it.”

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “I get it! I need to take all that I learned keep up the power and rotation that I learned, but making that it doesn’t pop a delicate balloon!”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “I see that you are getting it, kid!”

Naruto asks, curiously, “But one thing, Pervy Sage, what’s the point of it?”

Jiraiya throws him the balloon and he says, “Hold onto this, gaki. Let me show you.” Jiraiya then demonstrates the reason behind it by making a Rasengan using only the ‘first two steps’ which leaves a good spiral groove in the tree, but when Jiraiya uses a full Rasengan, he makes a large circular dent in the large tree. Jiraiya tells Naruto, “If you can keep that small typhoon in the palm of your hand compressed, the chakra can’t disperse. It will keep spinning faster and faster and becoming more powerful, Naruto, in which its destructive power will be at its maximum.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “I see, Pervy Sage.” Naruto puts away one of the balloons and makes his attempt, but the balloon pops on his first attempt.

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “There is no cutting corners, here, gaki! You need to use maximum power and maintain it.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “I get it now! If I don’t perfectly control my power, it won’t work! This third step is on a whole other level!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a grin, “I’ll leave you to your work, kid!”

Naruto tells Jiraiya, with a plain tone, “Hold up, Pervy Sage! Once I get this down, you’re going to tell me the secret of the Rasengan right?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a sigh, “You know what, kid. I’ll tell you right now.” Naruto gives a look of surprise and Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “To tell you the truth, Naruto. The Rasengan is a powerful jutsu, but it is incomplete.”

Naruto asks, perplexed, “Incomplete? How can that be?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Your dad wanted to add his chakra nature to it. You know what those are?”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Yeah, I do.”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Your dad was a wind and lightning nature with wind as his main nature in which you inherited from him. He planned to add his wind chakra and wind chakra is a powerful cut and slicing action. Imagine that kind of chakra added to the Rasengan.”

Naruto says, amazed, “Whoa! It’s already so powerful, but add something else to it…”

Jiraiya says, with a sly grin, “And that’s what we’re going to do next, gaki. You are going to completely your dad’s work and finishing the Rasengan. Once we add your wind chakra nature to it, it will turn into a jutsu of incredible power.”

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Oh, wow!” Naruto asks Jiraiya, curiously, “Wait, Pervy Sage! What about my other chakra natures?”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Your dad’s jutsu was mainly made for the wind chakra, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t experiment once you learned the ‘basic Rasengan’. I do have a theory that we might be able to mix fire and water chakra with the Rasengan. Maybe you would like to help me on that?”

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “Oh, yeah!”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, with a grin, “By the way, I see that you remember the advice that Hayabusa-sama gave to you about Shadow Clones.” Jiraiya and Naruto look around to see Shadow Clones of Naruto working on other forms of training including ones that he already did including tree-walking and water-walking.

Naruto says, with a foxy smile, “Yeah, I did. When I first learned it, I didn’t know that my Shadow Clone Jutsu could help in my training so well.”

Jiraiya tells Naruto, “Just watch it, okay. Remember, all that your Shadow Clones learn goes back to you. Don’t take too much at once, gaki.”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Right, Pervy Sage.” Jiraiya sighs at this and he heads off in which Naruto knows to his ‘research’.

End Flashback; Return to the Present

Back with Naruto, we see him preparing to use another balloon to continue working on perfecting his ‘basic Rasengan’ while using his Shadow Clones to work on other stuff including techniques being taught to him by Ninja Ryu, Ninja Ayame, Momiji, and Kasumi, Ninja Ayane’s older half-sister.

Naruto thinks in his mind, “How am I going to get complete my father’s jutsu when I can’t get the ‘basic version’ down? Well, it won’t stop me! Neji-teme is going to get it and I’m going to show him who’s boss! Believe it!” Naruto takes another air filled balloon and makes another attempt to create a Rasengan without bursting the balloon at all.

(Elsewhere in the village; Later on that morning)

Within the Namikaze compound, we find Leon, Kalin, Davis, Tai, Kari, and their Digimon partners assembled together as the majority watch Davis ride on Ryu’s Duel Board like an expert with Crow’s Duel Disk attached to his left wrist.

Tai says, whistling, “Man, Davis! I never knew that you were so good!”

Kari says, amazed, “That’s amazing, Davis!”

Davis stops in his tracks and he says, with a grin, “I know.”

Kalin says, with a rare smile, “You are quite good, Davis. I think that you do have the heart and mind of a true Turbo Duelist.”

Davis says, with a grin, “That’s a reason that I went to Neo Domino City, Kalin-san. When I was old enough, I wanted to go for my Turbo Dueling License.”

Leon says, with a wide smile, “That’s a good goal to go for.”

Tai says, with a plain tone, “Hopefully, the others will arrive by the end of day or the next morning.”

Gatomon retorts, “Unless they have caused mass panics with their partners digivolved forms.”

Agumon tells Tai, “That’s a good point, Tai.”

Kari says, with a smile, “With people like Izzy and Cody with them, they’ll be just fine.”

Davis asks, curiously, “Where is Ryu and Ayane?”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “Ryu gone off to explore the village with Hayabusa-san and Momiji-san as escort. Ayane has gone shopping with Kasumi-san and her younger sister.”

Leon asks, curiously, “Do you think that’s a good idea, Kalin? Remember what we heard about those two?”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “And with ninja, divisions in family, like in that fashion, can be quite nasty.”

Kalin replies, plainly, “If Kasumi-san’s sister wanted to attack her, I think that she would have made an attempt that her fellow ninja here would notice. Either that she knows better or her feelings for her half-sister have changed, but it can also be both.”

Davis says, with a nod, “Good point, Kalin-san. She wouldn’t dare try anything here. Out of the five great ninja villages, these are the best of the best.”

Gatomon says, with a plain tone, “Even the best of the best can have their flaws.”

Veemon says, with a nod, “I agree with Gatomon.”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “For once, buddy, I agree.”

Leon asks, curiously, “Do you think that it will easy for a new Duel Academy to be built here?”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “With the new coup that we made with the defeat of Danzo, the power in the village government has changed. However, the leader here is going to need people to handle affairs that don’t belong to military of this village, but this may be what he needs to create a new body that will be far more fair the original and do their jobs correctly.”

Davis says, with a sly grin, “But a new Duel Academy sounds really awesome and hopefully, I can get my dueling training done! I want to get into the Turbo Dueling leagues!”
Leon says, with a smile, “You have got a ways to go, Davis-san.”

Tai tells Davis, with a grin, “Maybe they’ll make you a teacher!”

Davis replies, slyly, “No way, Tai! I always fought ‘the man’ and I don’t want be HIM!”

Tai says, with a grin, “That’s for sure, Davis!”

Kari tells Davis, “I didn’t know that your family had ones of those ‘summon contracts’ with you, Davis.”

Leon says, amazed, “I can’t believe what your family has to aid you!”

Davis says, with a smirk, “My family has quite a history. And since my parents got my message, they are going to be here to discuss with the Hokage about what’s up.”

Veemon tells Davis, “Are you sure about this, Davis?”

Davis says, with a grin, “Come on, Veemon! I’ve saved the world before!”

Kalin tells Davis, “Remember, Davis, you are part of a team like you were before. Yusei and other Signers defeated their foes before they were united together as a team.”

Davis says, with a smile, “I’m sure that we’ll do fine. Ryu, Ayane, Naruto, and Hinata seem really great people.”

Leon says, with a plain tone, “You need to get to know them and they need to get to know you, Davis-san.” Davis nods his head and then they hear what seems like a loud explosion.

Tai asks, perplexed, “What was that?”

Gatomon says, plainly, “I don’t know, but I don’t like it.”

(At the front gates of the Leaf Village; at the same time)

Within the front gates of the Leaf Village, we find Lawton and his gang flowing into the village with ninja assembling on the scene.

One of them, a Chunin, yells out, “Halt, intruders! How dare you enter our village?” Just then one of them activates the Duel Disk portion of their Duel Runners and creating a hologram of a Tyrant Dragon (2900/2500) appears which surprises the ninja in which the gang member using a shock gun to stun the Chunin for the moment.

Lawton yells out, excitedly, “Okay, boys! Spread out! Shoot and scoot first and ask questions later! And find me those kids and Kalin!” Soon enough, all of them race off into the distance to find Yusei’s and Akiza’s children and Kalin to Lawton to have his revenge against Kalin for his role of his loss of control of Crash Town and its valuable mines in which his revenge against Yusei shall be against his kids since Yusei has already been murdered.

(A brief time later; in another part of the Leaf Village)

On the meanwhile, we find Ryu, Ninja Ryu, and Momiji together in front of a machine store in which Ninja Ryu helped his younger counterpart in first name buy tools for a special project that Yusei’s male child is preparing for, but he isn’t saying what he is doing.

They have heard the explosion and they are looking in the direction of where the explosion came from in which Momiji asks, curiously, “What was that?”

Ninja Ryu says, plainly, “Stay with young Ryu, Momiji.”

Momiji replies, “Right, sensei.” As Ninja Ryu leaps off into the distance, Momiji and Ryu start to head back in a quick fashion towards the Namikaze mansion as well as preparing to head off to find Ryu’s sister, Ayane.

(Back with Davis; A short time soon after)

Joining back with Davis and those with him, we find them looking as columns of smoke and dust coming from multiple points in the village with worry, seriousness, and/or both on their faces.

Tai says, seriousness, “I really don’t like this, everyone.”

Leon asks Kalin, “What should we do Kalin?”

Kalin replies, plainly, “I don’t think that ninja are attacking the village.”

Just then Neko appears in front of them and she says, “Kalin-san, we are here to report that the village is being raided by Outsiders. They are using vehicles to your Duel Runners.”

There are gasps of surprise and Kalin says, with a plain tone, “Thought so.”

Neko says, with a plain tone, “I’m here to see if the Signers are okay.”

Davis says, with a plain tone, “I’m just fine, but Ayane and Ryu are in your village going shopping.”

Neko says, worriedly, “Oh no!”

Kalin asks, plainly, “Do you know what these attackers look like?”

Neko says, with a plain tone, “We can’t get a good look at them, but their leaders seem to be riding a machine that looks like a large drill.”

Kalin’s eyes widen and he says, plainly, “Lawton…”

Leon asks Kalin, “You know who’s attacking?”

Kalin runs over to his Duel Runner and he says, with a serious tone, “His target is me with Ryu and Ayane! He wants revenge against us for stopping his evil plans!”

There are more gasps and Davis says, with a serious tone, “Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s get them!” Davis puts the Duel Board onto the ground and Veemon leaps on it in which Davis races off into the village.

Kari yells out, worriedly, “Davis, wait!”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “Leon and I will go after him. We need to hurry, Leon-san.”

Leon says, with a nod, “Right, Kalin.” Immediately, as Kalin races off into the village, Leon follows in his Duel Runner in which Kari and Tai take out their digivices in which they plan to make their way to help out.

(At the shopping district; A short time afterwards)

Right now, we find ourselves in the shopping district of the Leaf Village where we find Ayane, Ninja Ayane, and Kasumi assembled together in which Ayane is using her psychic powers with her Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800) to combat the attackers in which she knocks another two off their Duel Runners.

One of them yells out, “What is she?!”

The other one yells out, “She is a ‘Psychic Duelist’, a duelist with weirdo mental powers to bring Duel Monsters to life! I heard rumors that her mother was one!”

The first one calls out, annoyed, “How are we supposed to fight against that?”

Just then a cold female voice calls out, plainly, “You don’t.” Just then both men are knocked out cold by Ninja Ayane with ease. Kasumi avoids attacks from shock guns by several more goons and uses her teleportation technique to get behind them in which she knocks them out with three karate chops to the neck.

Kasumi asks, with a curious tone, “Who are these people from outside of the Elemental Countries? And why are they here?” Just then a scream of pain comes into Kasumi’s ears and she and her sister look to see Ayane collapse to the ground from getting hit from a shock gun from behind in which Lawton has fired. Lawton’s Duel Runner uses a mechanical claw to grab Ayane, who is unconscious by the blast and who’s Black Rose Dragon has vanished because of that event, grabs Ayane and lifts her into the air.

Lawton says, slyly, “So, this is Yusei’s little wench? She isn’t bad on the eyes.”

Kasumi yells out, shocked, “Ayane!”

Ninja Ayane calls out, with a stronger tone than usual, “Release her!” As the two kunoichi prepare their attacks, they are hit from behind by shock gun blasts from more of Lawton’s gang in which Ninja Ayane thinks in her mind, “We were careless.” The two kunoichi fall to the ground, stunned, but still conscious.

Lawton says, with a smirk, “One down and two more to go!”

Just then a male voice calls out, “Sis!” Lawton looks to see Ryu running towards them in which Momiji is about to attack Lawton from above, but she is then hit by another shock gun blast from a nearby alleyway in which Barbara, Lawton’s wife, comes out with a sinister grin on her lips.

Barbara then says, “And that must be Yusei’s son. He is pretty good looking through not as much as my Lawton.” Barbara then breaks out her whip and gets Ryu right around the neck in which she throws him to the ground in which she stomps him on the back with a pair of high-heeled boots hard and multiple times until he is knocked out.

Lawton says, with a grin, “Good work, sweetie!”

Barbara says, with a sinister smile, “Thank you, Lawton-kun. I forgive you for what happened back at home because it was the fault of these brats’ dad and Kalin!”

Lawton says, with a wicked smirk, “And we’re going to get our revenge.” Lawton lowers the unconscious Ayane to her in which Barbara ties them up with rope.

Barbara thinks in her mind, “But I’ve got to admit that this kid is tough. He took so many hits that I never thought that he would fall unconscious.”

Soon after, they hear a screech of tires in which they see Kalin and Leon appearing in their Duel Runners and Leon says, shocked, “Ryu! Ayane!”

Lawton says, with a grin, “I wouldn’t try it partner.”

Kalin says, getting to his feet, “Your grudge is against me, Lawton.”

Lawton says, with a grin, “Actually, it is against you AND Yusei Fudo.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone and a sneer, “Yusei can’t come since he has been brutally murdered. Isn’t that enough? I’m the only one left alive that you can hold your grudge. The two of them have no part in this, Lawton.”

Lawton says, with an evil smile, “I disagree. They are Yusei’s kids, so, they need to pay for their daddy’s interference!”

Leon says, with a snort, “You scum!”

Just then a male voice yells out, “You got that right, Leon-san!” And before anyone can say or do anything, Lawton is bashed in the face by Ryu’s Duel Board being used by Davis which knocks Lawton off his Duel Runner and onto the ground, hard!

Barbara yells out, shocked, “Lawton-kun!” Davis lands on the ground, safely, stops the Duel Board, detaches Crow’s Duel Disk, and he charges right into Lawton, who is trying to get back on his feet from the nasty blow, ramming his left elbow into him causing the air to get knocked out of him. Davis then lands a vicious assault of punches and kicks and normally, a 13 year old wouldn’t be able to get the best an adult male of Lawton’s size and well-muscular frame, which means that he is a very strong adult male, but Davis, with the training that he got from his family and martial arts training that he also got, manages to knock Lawton to the ground and quickly grab his shock gun pointing it straight at his face.
Leon says, stunned, “Whoa! This kid is good!”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “Remember, he has training.”

Davis says, with a smirk, “Looks like the boot is on the other foot, partner.”

Barbara yells out, strongly, “I think not, brat!” Everyone looks and gasps to see Barbara with a real-life pistol pointed straight at the unconscious Fudo twins. Barbara yells out, strongly, “Get your filthy hands off my Lawton-kun or these kids will have a new air hole!”

Leon says, with a snort, “You scum!” Davis growls as he drops the shock gun and Lawton takes this chance to easily throw Davis off him in which he lands a blow to his waist causing the air to get knocked out of him and knocking him to the ground. Leon yells out, shocked, “Davis!” Davis gets to his feet while Lawton gets to his in which Lawton whips a bit of a blood from his lip.

Lawton says, with a grin, “Not bad, kid. You are quite bold and pretty tough.”

Davis says, spitting onto the ground, “I’ve faced better, jerk.”

Kalin tells Lawton, plainly, “What now?”

Lawton says, with a grin, “Since you and this kid seem really concerned about Yusei’s little brats, you can win them back in a duel. In fact, it will be two-on-one, but I get ten cards in my hand instead of five as my handicap. And if you win, you’ll get your little friends, but if you lose, your lives are mine.”

Davis thinks in his mind, “Why would he want more cards than life-points as a handicap? Usually the one facing the two starts out with double the life-points than his opponent as a handicap. Something isn’t right.”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “Davis-san isn’t a part of this…”

Davis says, with a serious tone, “Who says, Kalin-san? I’ve fought bigger assholes than this goon! He is just an asshole who got beat by two good duelists and now, he is throwing a fit like a baby. We can take him.”

Lawton says, annoyed, “You’ve got a big mouth, brat.”

Davis says, preparing his duel disk, “And you have got a lot of nerve doing what you are doing. Terrorizing a village and involving Yusei-san’s kids just because Ryu’s and Ayane’s dad and Kalin-san stopped your rotten little mining scheme. Yeah, they told me right before we split up to find you. It is time that I helped Kalin finish what he and Yusei-san started!”

Lawton says, taking out two revolver-like Duel Disks, “You’ve got guts, kid. But if you duel, you’ll do it our way. You’ll use these Duel Disks and on the word ‘draw’, we draw our hands and who gets their opening hand out first gets to go first.” Lawton throws them the Duel Disks in which they catch and Kalin looks at Davis in which Kalin nods causing Davis to switch his current Duel Disk, Crow’s former Duel Disk, with the revolver-like Duel Disk with matching holder, putting his cards inside. All three duelists prepare to ‘draw’ much in a fashion of the wild west shows of revolver ‘duelists’ did in revolver duels on television. Lawton yells out, strongly, “Draw!” Immediately, all three of them put on their duel disks, activate them, and draw their hands, but Davis surprises everyone by drawing at incredible speed faster than Lawton!

Kalin thinks in his mind, “Such speed…”

Lawton yells out, stunned, “How did you…?!”

Davis says, with a smirk, “I’m full of surprises, jerk! And since I got the first draw, I get the first turn!”

Lawton says, with a snort, “Fine, brat!

“Let’s duel!” Davis, Kalin, and Lawton yell out in unison as their duel begins.

Davis says, drawing a card, “I’ll go first!” Davis says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I play my Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and discard two from my hand!” Davis draws three cards and discards two from his hand in which he puts another card into the spell/trap slots, “Then I play my Monster Reborn! This card allows me to revive one monster from the grave and I choose my Blackwing-Sirocco the Dawn in attack mode!” Immediately, Blackwing-Sirocco the Dawn (2000/900) appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting one card on his duel disk, “And since I have a Blackwing on my field, I can special summon Gale the Whirlwind as well, pal!” Just then Blackwing-Gale the Whirlwind (1300/400) appears on the field in attack mode.

Lawton asks, shocked, “A Tuner?”

Davis says, with a grin, “And now, I tune my level three Gale the Whirlwind with my Sirocco the Dawn!” Just then Gale the Whirlwind turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Sirocco the Dawn making him become transparent before a column of light appears on the field. When Davis takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck, he chants out, “Darkened gales, become the wings that soar from resolved hope! Synchro Summon!” Davis says, putting the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk, “Time to fly, Black-Winged Dragon!” Out of the light, Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) appears onto the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting a card on his duel disk, “Next, I play Blackwing-Boar the Spear in attack mode!” Soon after, Blackwing-Boar the Spear (1700/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Davis says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “And finally, I end my turn with a couple of face-downs!”

Lawton says, drawing a card, “You think that scares me! Ha! I’ve seen scarier monsters in my sleep!” Lawton says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play my Gatling Ogre in attack mode!” Just then Gatling Ogre (800/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Lawton says, putting five cards into the spell/trap slots, “I place five cards face-down and activate my Ogre’s ability! For every face-down that I send packing, you lose eight hundred life-points! So, I send all five cards to grave to destroy you, Kalin!” Gatling Ogre unleashes a barrage of energy bullets at Kalin, but they are then diverted into Black-Winged Dragon’s chest surprising him.

Davis yells out, slyly, “I use my Black-Winged Dragon’s ability! By putting one Blackwing counter on him when you inflict effect damage, it is negated, but my dragon loses seven hundred attack points!” Black-Winged Dragon roars as it stats go down from 2800/1600 to 2100/1600!

Lawton thinks in his mind, annoyed, “And that means that using my Ogre’s ability would be the same result!” Lawton says, putting the rest of his hand into the spell/trap slots of his duel disk, “Fine, brat! I end my turn with five cards face-down!”

Kalin says, drawing a card, “It’s my move, Lawton.”

Lawton pushes a button on his duel disk, snaps his fingers, and he says, with a grin, “And your Infernity Zero is gone!” Just then a shot hits a card in his hand causing an image of Infernity Zero (0/0) appears above him before shattering in which a Pinpoint Shot trap card is seen on Lawton’s field face-up. Lawton says, with a grin, “Thanks to my Pinpoint Shot trap card, by declaring a card name and if it is face-down on the field or in your hand, it gets a one-way trip to the graveyard!”

Kalin discards the card and he says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I won’t need him, Lawton. I play my Infernity Beast in attack mode!” Immediately, Infernity Beast (1600/1200) appears on the field in attack mode and Kalin says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with a face-down card.”

Davis says, drawing a card, “It’s my move now!” Davis says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I activate my Blackback trap card!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Blackback trap card and Davis says, with a plain tone, “With this card, I can revive one Blackwing monster in the graveyard, but I can’t Normal Summon or set during this time! So, I revive my Gale the Whirlwind!” Just then Blackwing-Gale the Whirlwind (1300/400) returns to the field in attack mode.

Kalin thinks in his mind, “So, he plans to add Armor Master into the game?”

Davis says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Graceful Revival trap card!” Davis’ other face-down card is revealed to be the Graceful Revival continuous trap card and he yells out, “With this card, I can revive one monster that’s level two or below in which I choose Tuningware!” Just then Tuningware (100/300) appears on the field in attack mode.

Lawton asks, stunned, “Hold up! How did that card get into your graveyard?”

Davis retorts, slyly, “Remember the first card that I played, baka?”

Lawton then remembers Graceful Charity and he replies, with a snort, “Fine, brat! I get it!”

Just then a voice in Davis’ mind calls out, “It is time.”

Davis yells out, “I tune my level three Gale the Whirlwind with my Boar the Spear and my Tuningware!” Gale the Whirlwind turns into three stars that turn into three rings that surround Boar the Spear and Tuningware making them become transparent as a column of light appears on the field while Davis gets a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck. At this moment, Kasumi and Ninja Ayane are back on their feet in which Kasumi notices a glow from within her uniform in which she takes out a ninja scroll which is glowing.

Kasumi thinks in her mind, stunned, “This is…!”

Leon asks, looking at the scroll, “What’s that?”

Davis chants out, “Clustering hopes become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” Kalin gasps at the chant and when Davis puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk, he yells out, “As Ryu’s and Ayane’s dad would say: ‘Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

There are plenty of gasps and Lawton yells out, “That monster…!!”

Leon asks, perplexed, “Stardust Dragon? Hold up! There are only two cards and Ryu and Ayane have them! I saw them in their decks before they left to go out this morning!”

Overhearing this, Lawton yells out, “Then how come this kid has it?”

Davis says, with a smirk, “Wouldn’t you like this to know, pal? Anyway, you wanted a rematch with their dad, you can’t have that, but his ace monster is something else all together!” At this time, Davis’ ‘Mark of the Dragon’ glows in which another strange mark that looks like a curled up Crimson Dragon appears on his upper right arm above his ‘Mark of the Dragon’.

Those looking at Davis are surprised and Kalin thinks, “What is that mark? It looks like a curled up Crimson Dragon. Is Davis some kind of ‘special Signer’?”

Lawton yells out, annoyed, “You have got some nerve, kid!”

Davis says, drawing a card, “Look who is calling the kettle black, baka! Anyway, since I used Tuningware in a Synchro Summon, I get one card!” Davis says, putting the card that he drew into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Tremendous Fire spell card! With this card, you take one grand of life-point while I take five hundred points!” As tons of flames surround the two of them, the flames around Davis goes into Black-Winged Dragon causing its stats to lower 2100/1600 to 1400/1600 in which Davis says, with a grin, “But due to my Black-Winged Dragon’s ability, I suffer no damage by putting a Blackwing counter on him!”

Lawton says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I activate my Barrel Behind the Door trap card!” Lawton’s face-down card is revealed to be the Barrel Behind the Door counter trap card and he says, “With this card, I can turn my effect damage to yours!” A large gun appears, absorbs the fire, and fires it right at Davis.

Davis says, with a smirk, “And with Black-Winged Dragon’s ability, absorbs that effect damage by putting a Blackwing counter on it! Damage Drain!” Black-Winged Dragon absorbs the flames in which its stats reduce from 1400/1600 to 700/1600. Davis yells out, strongly, “And now, I play his ability! I remove all Blackwing counters on it and your monster loses seven hundred attack points for every one as well as you take seven hundred points of damage! And that’s three gone in which twenty-one hundred points of damage are given! Hit with Black Burst!” Black-Winged Dragon unleashes a surge of shadow energy that lowers Gatling Ogre’s stats from 800/800 to 0/800 in which Lawton yelps as he loses 2100 life-points. Davis yells out, strongly, “Stardust Dragon, hit it! Finish this with Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon roars it unleashes a powerful blast of cosmic energy right at Gatling Ogre.

Lawton says, with a sneer and pushing a button on his duel disk, “I activate my Backattack Ambush trap card!” Just then Lawton’s next face-down card is revealed to be the Backattack Ambush trap card and Lawton says, with a snort, “This card negates your attack and ends the Battle Phase! Then I can summon as many Ambush Tokens as the number for all attack mode monsters on your field!” Stardust Dragon’s attack is negated and three Ambush Tokens (100/100) appears on the field in attack mode. Lawton says, with a grin, “And then I can release them to give you five hundred points of damage the instant that they are summoned!”

Davis says, with a grin, “However, my Black-Winged Dragon is back to full power and that means his ability can stop you from using your tokens ability to hurt us!”

Lawton says, with a sneer, “I know, rat, but your attack is stopped!”

Kalin says, pushing a button, “That card may have protected you from battle damage, but not effect damage. I play my Full Salvo trap card!” Kalin’s trap card is revealed to be Full Salvo and Kalin says, discarding his hand, “I discard my hand and you lose two hundred life-points for every card that I had to discard. Since it was three, you lose eight-hundred life-points.” Kalin’s trap card unleashes a barrage in which he yelps as it hits causing him to lose 800 life-points.

Barbara says, stunned, “Lawton!” What she doesn’t know along with plenty of others, Ryu and Ayane have secretly woken up in which they are secretly cutting their way out of their bindings in which another familiar figure arrives on the field, hidden from view through Kasumi and Ayane know that this figure is there.

Lawton says, with a sneer, “You are going to pay for that one, Kalin.”

Davis says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Give us your best shot! Let’s see if you can duel as you can shoot off your mouth!”

By removing three spell cards from my graveyard, I can draw two more cards!” Lawton then removes three cards from his graveyard, he puts them in his pocket, and he draws two more cards. Lawton says, putting one card more into the spell/trap slots, “I play Card of Fire Alchemy! By releasing one Fire monster on my field, I get two more cards!” Gatling Ogre vanishes from the field and Lawton draws two more cards. Lawton says, putting one card onto his duel disk, “I release two of my tokens in order to play Longbarrel Ogre in defense mode!” Two of tokens vanish from the field and Longbarrel Ogre (0/3000) appears on the field in defense mode. Lawton says, with a grin, “Now, I can destroy a monster on the field with the highest attack points and give you damage equal to half of that monster’s attack points!” Longbarrel Ogre fires a round right at Black-Winged Dragon.

Davis says, with a serious tone, “Stardust Dragon’s ability activates, pal! By releasing him, I can negate your ability and destroy your card!” Stardust Dragon turns into particles and heads straight for Lawton’s monster, negating the attack on the way.

Lawton says, with a grin, “And now, I play my Metal Coat trap card!” Lawton’s next face-down card is revealed to be the Metal Coat trap card and Lawton says, with a grin, “This card equips to my monster and makes him unable to be destroyed by a card effect!” A metal coat appears around Longbarrel Ogre and stardust particles disperse around the monster. Lawton says, with a grin, “Nice try, kid! But now, I use my Ogre’s ability again!” Longbarrel Ogre fires another shot at Black-Winged Dragon.

Davis says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I activate my Stardust Flash trap card!” Davis’ face-down card is revealed to be the Stardust Flash trap card and he yells out, strongly, “Since Stardust Dragon used his ability this turn, I can use this card to revive him!” Immediately, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) returns to the field in attack mode and Davis calls out, seriously, “And now, I use his ability again! Victim Sanctuary!” Stardust Dragon turns into particles of stardust that negate Longbarrel Ogre’s attack, but due to Metal Coat, it is protected from being destroyed.

Lawton says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I switch my last token into defense and end my turn with a face-down!” After the final Ambush Token switches from attack to defense mode, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) returns to the field in attack mode due to its ability.

Kalin says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn now.” Kalin says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play my Infernity Necromancer in defense mode!” Infernity Necromancer (0/2000) appears on the field in defense mode and Kalin says, with a plain tone, “And since I have no cards, it gains the ability to revive one Infernity monster from my graveyard! I choose my Infernity Beetle!” Just then Infernity Beetle (1200/0) appears on the field in defense mode and Kalin says, with a plain tone, “I tune my Beetle with both my Infernity Necromancer and my Infernity Beast!” Infernity Beetle turns into two stars that turn into two rings that surround Infernity Necromancer and Beast causing them to become transparent. As a column of light appears on the field, Kalin exclaims, as he takes a Synchro Monster card and puts it on his duel disk, “Meet my Infernity Doom Dragon!” Out of the light, Infernity Doom Dragon (3000/2400) appears on the field in attack mode.

Lawton says, with a grin, “A lot of good that will do you since your monster can’t beat my monster nor use its ability!”

Kalin says, with a plain tone, “I end my turn.”

Davis says, drawing a card, “And on to me, pal!” Davis says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I activate my Card of Sanctity! All of us are forced to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” All three players draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands and Davis says, putting another card into the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play my Fusion Birth spell card! I send the top five cards from my deck to the grave and if two or more of them are Fusion Material monsters for a Fusion Summon, I can play that Fusion monster right now!” Davis draws five cards, shows them to be a Elemental Hero Ocean (1500/1200), Elemental Hero Woodsman (1000/2000), Pot of Greed spell card, Synchro Barrier trap card, and Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) monster card, and he says, discarding them to the graveyard, “Too bad for you! I discarded Ocean and Woodsman and I can summon one of the most powerful Elemental Heroes there ever is or was!” Davis takes out a Fusion Monster card from his Extra Deck and he yells out, putting the card on his duel disk, “Meet Elemental Hero Terra Firma!” Just then earth cracks open and out of the ground, Elemental Hero Terra Firma (2500/2000), a large humanoid monster with a white body, blue jewels as shoulders, and red jewel on his chest, appear on the field in attack mode with a mighty show of power.

Lawton says, shocked, “I’ve heard of that card! It is supposed to one of those legendary planet monsters!”

Davis says, putting another card into the spell/trap slots, “He is and he is going to give you the boot when I play my Synchro Gift spell card! Now, I choose one Synchro monster and transfer its strength to a non-Synchro monster for the duration of the turn like my Terra Firma!” Davis asks Kalin, slyly, “If you don’t mind, Kalin?”

Kalin says, with a nod, “Go ahead, Davis-san.” Soon enough, Infernity Doom Dragon’s stats go down from 3000/2400 to 0/2400 while Terra Firma goes up from 2500/2000 to 5500/2000!

Lawton thinks in his mind, slyly, “All for not, boy! I can get rid of my Metal Coat and my monster is safe!”

Davis says, putting one more card into the spell/trap slots, “If you think that you are safe, you are so wrong, jerk! I give my Terra Firma the Fairy Meteor Crush equip spell card and when my monster attacks one of your defense mode monsters, you get hit with the difference between his attack and your defense!”

Lawton yells out, stunned, “Oh no!” But then a cracking sound is heard and everyone looks at Barbara with a deadly serious tone on her face.

Barbara says, with a serious glare, “This duel is over!” Barbara says, pointing the gun in the direction of where Ryu and Ayane are supposed to be, “Surrender now and we might consider them to live!”

Davis says, with a wide grin, “You might want to have a rain check on that.” When everyone looks where Ryu and Ayane are supposed to be, Barbara gasps to see them gone in which she looks to see them by Ninja Ryu with a wide smiles on their faces.

Barbara yells out, annoyed, “Why you…?!” She points the gun at them, but Ninja Ryu easily cuts the gun in half with one swipe of his sword.

Ryu tells Davis, “They are all yours, Davis.”

Davis yells out, with a nod, “Right, Ryu-san!” Davis yells out, strongly, “Terra Firma, attack his Ogre with Terra Firma Impact!” Terra Firma charges in with a powerful blow causing a strong explosion in which Lawton yells out as he loses 2500 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

With the end of the duel, the holograms fade away and Lawton tries to make a break for it, but then Greymon, Agumon’s Champion form, appears and knocks over Lawton’s Duel Runner. Afterwards, Nefertimon, Gatomon’s Armor form through the Digi-Egg of Light, also appears dropping down a batch of Lawton’s gang members with Greymon sitting down another large net full of them. ExVeemon sets down and drops some more as well in which the Hokage and a group of ANBU arrives on the scene.

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “So, these are the intruders that caused such havoc in our village? I can see that you have everything in hand.” Third Hokage orders the ANBU, “Take them away! They are going to meet with Ibiki and Anko immediately!” The ANBU immediately grab Lawton and Barbara and they struggle even through they know that their struggles are in vain with the tight grip of the elite ninja keeping their hands behind their back.

Lawton says, with a snort, “So, we’re going to jail? You think that this will stop us!”

Davis says, with a grin, “Hate to break it to you, but you will be lucky if you survive getting to jail!”

Barbara asks, curiously, “What do you mean?”

Kalin says, with a smile, “Ninja practice torture and interrogation physically AND mentally in which you have been sent to two people that are consider ‘sadists’ in this village even by their own fellow ninja.” Lawton and Barbara gasp in shock in which they cry out in horror as the ANBU teleport away with them.

Tai says, dropping down from Greymon, “Boy, do I feel sorry for them! If those two mentioned are considered sadistic by even members of their own home and teammates, then I don’t want to meet them.”

Third Hokage says, with a grin, “Indeed, my young friend.”

Ayane says, amazed, “Oh, wow! They are so amazing!”

ExVeemon says, with a grin, “I know that I am, Ayane!”

Nefertimon says, with a plain tone, “I think that she was talking about all of us, ExVeemon.”

ExVeemon replies, “I knew that, Nefertimon.”

Third Hokage tells everyone, “I would like to thank our new guests for their assistance in this matter.”

Davis says, with a grin, “No problem, Old Man.”

Third Hokage thinks in his mind, with a smile, “Now, I can see why it is said there is plenty of Naruto in you, Davis-san.”

Ninja Ayane tells Ryu and Ayane, “Forgive me for not protecting you, two.”

Ayane says, with a smile, “You don’t have anything sorry about. I lost my guard and I’m training to learn the ninja way.”

Ryu asks Davis, curiously, “Davis, how did you get my dad’s Stardust Dragon? There are only two copies and my sister and I have still got them. How did you get one?” Ryu and Ayane then display their Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) Synchro Monster cards to show their point.

Davis says, nervously, “It is kind of a long story…” Davis then starts to relate the tale on how he got his own copy of Stardust Dragon.

Flashback; the Previous Evening

Davis finds himself wandering around what seems like nothingness until he finds himself in front of the Stairway of the Crimson Dragon and he looks around wondering what’s going on.

Davis asks, perplexed, “Okay, where am I now?”

Just then a deep male voice booms out, “You are in front of the Crimson Dragon’s temple, young Signer.” Davis gives a look of surprise and he then looks around in which sees the figures of many majestic and powerful looking dragons appearing seemly out of nowhere. Just then a familiar crimson light appears and Davis looks to see the Crimson Dragon flying above with Stardust Dragon (2500/2000), Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800), Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000), Ancient Fairy Dragon (2100/3000), and Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) below it.

Davis asks, curiously, “Okay, who are you guys?”

One of the dragons reply, “We are the mighty dragon sovereigns of the Hayabusa clan and we know you well, Daisuke Motomiya, as well as your heritage. We are here to tell you that you are the first one to slowly realize their true power. A power that you were born with and it makes you unique among your new team.”

Davis asks, perplexed, “Huh? You mean the Signers?”

Another dragon says, in a female voice this time, “You are correct, young Motomiya. The Crimson Dragon chooses well its new warrior. As you have said before, you have fought a great evil and with a team of allies, you have beaten this evil. This experience shall do well to aid your fellow Signers, young Motomiya. However, each of you, Signers, has unique characteristics and abilities that make you far stronger then the previous Signers that were wrongly taken from this mortal coil. Each of you holds a great power within that’s vitally important into the future. You are the first who’s ‘hidden strength’ is starting to come out through there are those that would dispute this.”

A third dragon, with a male voice, says, “Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze has inherited the power of the Burning Force, but that’s not his true hidden power. His true hidden power shall be revealed over time along with Ryu Fudo’s, Ayane Fudo’s, and Hinata Hyuga’s.”

Davis asks, perplexed, “Okay, what’s my hidden power?”

A fourth dragon tells Davis, “With you, you hold our power. The power and spirit of the great dragons lies within you, young Motomiya. The signs are there with your Digimon partner. He is a dragon-type Digimon and you have shown by your actions that you have our burning spirits inside of you. You are like us, noble dragons, in human form, young Motomiya.” Just then the Crimson Dragon gives off a bright light and Davis covers his eyes in which he then notices his ‘Mark of the Dragon’ glowing along with something else on his upper right arm. When the light dies down, he looks to see what looks like a glowing curled up Crimson Dragon on his upper right arm.

Davis asks, stunned, “What is this?”

The first dragon that spoke replies, “The Crimson Dragon has give you a special ‘Mark of the Dragon’ to show your special status among the other Signers. Over time, the other four Signers shall also gain these special ‘Marks of the Dragon’ when their own hidden strength is awakened, young Motomiya. None of you know the level of potential that you have and it is so much that you will exceed the strength of the previous Signers.”

The female dragon that spoke earlier says, “Because of the powers the dragons that lives within you, the other Signers dragon shall lend you their strength as well. Also, you are charged to help your fellow Signers unleash their full strength. Finally, speak to Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, the successor of the two previous ‘Legendary Signers’, young Motomiya. Give him our warning that his battle with Red Nova is soon to begin. Good luck and farewell.” Just then the Crimson Dragon and the other dragons give off unified glows and Davis covers his eyes while Stardust Dragon, Black Rose Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon, and Red Dragon Archfiend sends beams of light into Davis’ form before everything becomes silvery-white in color.

End Flashback; Return to the Present

Back in the present, we find Davis displaying his Stardust Dragon (2500/2000), Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800), Ancient Fairy Dragon (2100/3000), Red Dragon Archfiend (3000/2000), and Black-Winged Dragon (2800/1600) Synchro Monster cards in front of everyone else after explaining about how he got them.

Tai says, with a whistle, “I’ve got to say that’s some story, Davis.”

Davis says, plainly, “When I woke up, I found these cards in my new deck.”

Ayane asks Leon, “By the way, Leon, did you give him that Terra Firma card?”

Leon says, with a smile, “The glow that it gave off when it was in his hands told me that it belonged to him.”

Ryu asks, curiously, “So, you have the ‘power of the dragon’ inside of you, Davis?”

Davis says, with a shrug, “You got me, Ryu.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a plain tone, “The strength and powers of all dragons, Duel Monsters or otherwise, seem to flow within Davis. It isn’t too surprising that since his mother’s clan is said to be ‘cousins’ to the Hayabusa clan also connected to the dragons that we respect as our deities.”

Ayane asks Davis, “But those dragons told you that we will be special ‘Marks of the Dragon’ along with the original as our own ‘special powers’ come to the surface? I don’t know get it. I’ve got my own special powers. How can I have more?”

Ninja Ayane says, “Your Psychic Duelists powers are inherited from your mother, Ayane-san. They originally came from Akiza Izinski Fudo and you have ‘unique quality’ that makes you a Signer even stronger than your mother and father.”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “I think that being Atem’s ‘heir of Light’ is one of them.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “That’s correct, Ryu-san.”

Kasumi thinks in her mind, “Could Davis-san be the one to be guardian of the Dragon Orb?”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “This is interesting indeed, everyone.”

Ninja Ryu asks, curiously, “Hokage-sama, how goes the search for the traitor Danzo?”

Third Hokage says, with a snarl, “It seems like he had a plan for this possibility despite what his ego thought, Hayabusa-sama.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “He is a clever one.”

Third Hokage says, with a sigh, “Much to my chagrin. He is still out there and he is very dangerous, but with Orochimaru in the village and whatever plans that he has, I can’t spread our resources thin especially with a possible attack by Orochimaru’s forces which we believed him to be the leader of the Sound Village.”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “That’s understandable, Hokage.”

Third Hokage says, with a sigh, “I’m getting too old for this. I think that it is time for me to have a replacement. Naruto’s father was supposed to be my replacement, but you know what happened.”

Ninja Ryu asks Third Hokage, “Who do you have in mind?”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “One of my students other than Orochimaru. Jiraiya is already here, so, he may be the only best choice for the job despite his faults.”

Ayane says, with a snort, “Since he is a major pervert, sir.”

Third Hokage gives a light flush, coughs, and he says, “I wouldn’t be that… harsh, young Ayane, but you do have a point. There is also Tsunade. She was the kunoichi of my students and the granddaughter of the founder of our village and the grandniece of the Second Hokage. She has her faults, but she is better than Jiraiya for this work and with the civilian council out of power along my own former teammates out of the way, she could remake this village since she has the blood and the ability that she developed herself for the job. However, she has left the village and isn’t considered a missing ninja due to her status as a Sannin in which Orochimaru’s case was the exception due to his horrible experiments and actions. But knowing Jiraiya, he will not take the job and Naruto is the answer. He will want to do his best to make up for ‘lost time’ and he will feel that he is not up for the job in which despite his faults, he is good for my job as well.”

Ninja Ayane says, with a plain tone, “After the Chunin Exams, you should send someone to go find her.”

Third Hokage says, with a smile, “I think that I will and I know who is perfect for the job.”

Ayane tells Ryu, “Should we go tell Naruto about the message, bro? He does have enough on his plate, Ryu.”

Ryu replies, “I feel that it is for the best, Ayane. Naruto needs to be ready for Red Nova when he comes after him. Remember, his Red Nova Dragon card contains a good portion of Red Nova’s power that was still sealed in Uncle Jack’s Red Dragon Archfiend card which Naruto is now the possessor.”

Tai says, with a nod, “That’s good idea. No need for some… demon or whatever to sneak attack on him.”

Third Hokage says, with a grin, “I think that Naruto knows how to deal with yokai, young Tai-san.”

Kari thinks in her mind, looking at Davis, “Davis…” She wanted to say something to him, but the words can’t seem to come out and she can’t help to worry about after learning more about him as well as learning about the danger he is going to be in.

(In an unknown location; on the meanwhile)

At an unknown location that’s some distance from the Leaf Village, we find Danzo looking over his ROOT forces and while he has lost his bases in the Leaf Village, the majority of his ROOT forces remains intact despite those captured in the aftermath of his attempt to get his hands on the ‘forbidden power’ that Davis’ family from his mother’s side guards using our Digidestined Signer. But now, with Danzo classified as a traitor and criminal of the Leaf Village along with the loss of his bases in the Leaf, his dream of taking the Hokage seat and making the Leaf Village the strongest of all the great ninja villages in which he will create a united Elemental Countries in his own twisted image is greatly damaged, but it isn’t dead.

A ROOT member says, with a plain tone, “Danzo-sama, the Third Hokage is getting to the bases before we do.”

Danzo says, with a plain tone, “I’m not surprised. Sarutobi has always been waiting for a chance to stop me. He may a senile old fool, but he knows to strike hard and fast when you have an opening. However, while he have may won this battle, due to the Crimson Dragon and the Signers, he hasn’t won the war. I may not become Hokage, but I will create a united ninja world in my own image, but I may be forced to do it elsewhere.”

The ROOT member tells Danzo, “Orders, Danzo-sama?”

Danzo replies, plainly, “Prepare our bases outside of the Leaf Village for destruction expect for the very new bases and prepare to find new locations for new bases.”

The ROOT replies, with a bow, “Right away, Danzo-sama.” The ROOT ninja vanishes in a typical Leaf village fashion in a swirl of leaves and Danzo gives a stoic look as he prepares new plans to make his dream come true.

(Around three weeks later; At the Leaf Village hospital)

In the Leaf Village hospital, we find Naruto lying down in bed with Shikamaru having a shogi game with Haku as they keep an eye on him due to his status being a Signer and with the knowledge that the Stone Village knows that Naruto is the Fourth Hokage’s child, they fear attacks on his life as well as Orochimaru wanting him to gain access to his Rinnegan.

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “You must have had some training.”

Haku tells Shikamaru, plainly, “Sorry, Shikamaru-san, but I can’t reveal anything of it.”

Shikamaru says, with a sigh, “Drag, girl. But then again, it isn’t like I’m going to get past my match.”

Haku tells Shikamaru, “Despite your test scores, you are quite intelligent. I said that you could have done excellently if you had taken the time to do your tests.”

Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “Putting pencil to paper is such a drag.”

Haku says, with a grin, “Your sensei told me that you would say that, Shikamaru-san.”

Just then Naruto groans out and after Naruto opens his eyes, Shikamaru says, “It is about time, sleepy head.”

Naruto asks, weakly, “Where am I?”

Haku tells Naruto, “You were worn out after such intense training by Jiraiya-sama, Hayabusa-sama and his allies, and myself, Naruto. But you have been only out about a day.”

Naruto gives a blank look and he then yells out, stunned, “A day?!”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, “Don’t worry, the finals are tomorrow.”

Naruto yells out, stunned, “Tomorrow?!”

Haku tells Naruto, with a kind smile, “Naruto-sama, you are already ready for the finals. You had completely Jiraiya-sama first training far before two weeks have gone by remember?”

Naruto blinks a few times and he then says, with a foxy grin, “Oh, yeah! I can’t wait to show Neji-baka up!”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, “You forgot that Neji was training too.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “But I doubt that he was working on techniques like I was and I was working my butt off! I was working on a lot of stuff including ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and even swordsman techniques, but I can’t say anymore since I might face you later, Shikamaru!”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, “Since you are the first match, I would see much of what you got when you fight Neji, Naruto. And plus, I doubt that I will make it past the first round.”

Naruto says, with a snort, “With that attitude, you will lose, Shikamaru. Come on, Shikamaru, do you want that rotten Sand kunoichi that did what she did to your fellow Leaf ninja like that to get free reign on these Exams? Geez, Shikamaru!”

Shikamaru thinks in his mind, “Troublesome.” However, at one point, Shikamaru noticed the sand in timing pace that he had in the room start to act weird and his eyes narrow at it.

(Later on; Elsewhere in the hospital)

Inside of another part of the hospital, we find a sleeping Rock Lee in his bed with Gaara looming over him in which he holds his head in pain as the memories of what happened at the end of his match with Lee and images of himself crying as a child come into his mind. Gaara then uses his sand to surround Lee in his bed and prepares to crush him with his sand jutsu, but he then is paralyzed.

Gaara says, “I can’t move… my body…” Just then Naruto appears to hit him hard right in the face, but Shikamaru, who was nearby yelps out in pain as he feels the same blow.

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “What do you think that you are doing asshole?”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, “Watch it, man! I’m using my Shadow Possession Jutsu so when you are bashing him, you are bashing me too, got it?”

Naruto replies, nervously, “Sorry, Shikamaru.”

Haku steps forward and he tells Gaara, “What do you think that you are doing here?”

Gaara is silent for awhile and Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Tell us what you were going to do already!”

Gaara says, with a plain tone, “I was going to kill him.”

There are gasps and Shikamaru thinks in his mind, “This guy is one cool customer. He isn’t fazed that I’ve got him trapped in my Shadow Possession Jutsu.”

Haku tells Gaara, with a plain tone, “You have already beaten him in the Chunin Exams and his ninja career may be over. You have already done enough damage, so, why continue?”

Gaara replies, “It is nothing personal. It is simple. I just need to kill him.”

There are more gasps and Haku asks, seriously through a bit unnerved, “NEED to kill him?”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “You know what, pal? You’re crazy!”

From within Naruto, Kyuubi says, lowly, “No duh, gaki. Since that raccoon was sealed inside of him and the way that he was sealed, his host has been driven insane, baka!”

Haku tells Gaara, “We can’t allow you do that. We are at peace and you can’t just kill a ninja from another village like this.”

Shikamaru thinks in his mind, “This guy gives me the creeps. I’m not sure we’re going to stop him if he makes a move.”

Gaara says, with a plain tone, “If you don’t get out of my way, I will have to kill you too.”

Naruto says, with a smirk, “Oh, really? Do you really think that your power can compare to mine? You know what I have and I know what you have, buster! And last time that I checked, nine beats one any day of the week!”

Shikamaru asks Naruto, “What are you talking about Naruto?”

Naruto tells Shikamaru, “This guy is a Jinchuriki, same as I am. He contains the One-Tailed Biju.”

Shikamaru yells out, shocked, “Are you serious, Naruto?”

Naruto says, with a nod, “My ‘gifts’ from when I took the fox’s chakra told me so and the Old Man and the others confirmed it as well.”

Haku says, with a plain tone, “It is also his ‘inner demon’ that gives him the ability to control sand. From what I read, the One-Tailed is a huge sand monster similar to a canine or raccoon.”

Shikamaru says, nervously, “Geez, you guys could have told me earlier!” Shikamaru thinks in his mind, “Now I know why he is so freaking powerful! He isn’t a normal human! He has got some kind of monster sealed inside of him giving him freaky powers similar to Naruto! And now, I’m face to face with this guy. What a drag.”

Naruto says, with a smile, “And I’ve been training my butt off lately, so, I’m far stronger than before. Now, how are you going to kill someone with a legendary dojutsu and the power of a stronger ‘monster’ than yours to call upon? All I can see is you getting the crap knocked out of you.”

Gaara replies, plainly, “You might have a demon inside of you like I, but you and I are nothing alike and that’s why I’m going to kill you despite the power of the demon that you possess.” Gaara then starts to explain about his origins and how the One-Tailed was sealed inside of him through there was a mistake of comparing the One-Tailed to its first host, an elite monk of the Sand Village, who went mad from the Biju sealed inside of him.

When he was done, the three ninja are shocked and Naruto thinks in his mind, “Whoa! That’s how he got his ‘monster’ sealed inside of him! We are so different and yet, we are so alike in so many ways!” But when he looks at Haku, he thinks, seriously, “But I know that I can beat this guy! I remember Haku’s words to me and all that I’ve been through so far! I remember… the power of bonds like the ones that Ryu’s and Ayane’s parents had with the rest of their friends during when they were saving the world! And I know that my bonds will get me through this!” But then the three ninja gasps as the sand starts to move even through Gaara’s body is paralyzed.

Shikamaru thinks in his mind, shocked, “He shouldn’t be able to do that with my Shadow Possession Jutsu on him!”

Naruto thinks in his mind, seriously, “Oh, crap! I’ve got to move fast!” Naruto then starts to unleash the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox as its chakra takes the form of the chakra cloak that Naruto gained when he stripped the fox of its chakra first formed.

Gaara yells out, slyly, “Do you think I would let you have the time? Make me feel alive!”

Just then Gaara’s sand lashes out to attack before Naruto’s yokai chakra cloak can fully form and Naruto was ready in which Shikamaru yells out, “Incoming!”

Then a male voice calls out, “All right, that’s enough!” Gaara’s sand stops and falls to the floor in which Naruto deactivates his yokai chakra cloak in which everyone looks to see Might Gai enter the room. Gai tells them, “Save it for tomorrow and the finals! You are just wasting your time and energy today! Is that what you want?” Gaara holds his head in pain as more images of his past come into his mind and his sand returns to the gourd on his back. Gaara then walks towards the door, but when he reaches it, he looks back and he says, with murderous intent in his eyes, “Just the same, I will kill you. I will kill you all.”

Naruto says, with a serious glare, “We’ll see, Gaara.”

Gaara tells Naruto, “We will indeed, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. I shall enjoy feasting on your blood most of all.” Soon enough, Gaara walks out of the room and Naruto has a serious look on his expression, but mentally, he is quite nervous feeling that if and when he faces Gaara, it might be the battle of his life.

(The next day; around the center of the Leaf Village)

Right now, we find ourselves inside of a huge stadium as people fill up the seats of the stadium which is designed similar to the sports stadiums and those used in ancient Rome and these people are made up of people in the Leaf Village, foreign dignitaries, and many others. In a special seating area on top center part overlooking the whole stadium below is reserved for the Kages which there is the Third Hokage, the Kazekage, leader of the Sand Village, who is covered in Kage robes and a veil over his face, and the Raikage, Killer Bee’s brother in which there is one ninja guard, one with wrinkled scars over the right center portion of his face and wearing similar attire to Kakashi as well as other Chunin and Jonin, two Sand ninja for the Kazekage, and there is Killer Bee and Yugito themselves by the Raikage.

Third Hokage tells Raikage, “Raikage-sama, it is an honor to see you here.”

The Raikage says, with a grin, “I’ve got three ninja that here now, so, why wouldn’t I be here, Hokage-sama? Anyway, I hear that one of them is Yellow Flash’s kid!”

Third Hokage says, with a nod, “It is, Raikage-sama. Naruto is the son of our Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and the Red Storm of Whirlpool, Kushina Uzumaki.”

The Raikage says, with a nod, “Is that fact? I’ve also heard rumors about him.”

Third Hokage asks, curiously, “What rumors?”

The Raikage says, with a plain tone, “Ones that are better not left said in public, Hokage-sama.”

Third Hokage says, looking at Killer Bee, “I believe that man that looks like you is the leader of the three of your ninja in these rounds.”

Killer Bee says, with a grin, “Killer Bee is the name, yo! And the Raikage here is my big bro!”

Raikage thinks in his mind, with a mental slap, “Bee, you and your rhyming!”

Third Hokage asks, curiously, “And might I ask who this young lady?”

Raikage replies, plainly, “Her name is Yugito Nii, daughter of the last Raikage, who happened to be my uncle.”

Third Hokage says, his eyes widen, “I see, Raikage-sama.”

Yugito says, with a bow, “It is an honor to meet you, Hokage-sama.”

Third Hokage says, with a nod, “Likewise, Yugito-san.”

Raikage tells Third Hokage, “Yo, Hokage-sama, I think that you are missing two people.” The three Kage look down and they see all of the finalists expect for two, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and Sasuke Uchiha.

Third Hokage thinks in his mind, “Where could Naruto and Sasuke be? I’m sure that Kakashi is the reason behind Sasuke, but I can’t believe that Naruto…” However, he is brought out of his train of thought when Jiraiya arrives on the scene.

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Hey there, Old Man!”

Third Hokage tells Jiraiya, “Ah, Jiraiya. Do you know where Naruto is?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Look up.” When Jiraiya points to the air, the Kage look up and they are amazed to see Black Rose Dragon (2400/1800) flying through the air with Naruto and Ayane on its back in which it lands in the middle of the stadium in which Naruto leaps off.

Naruto yells out, slyly, “Thanks, Ayane!”
Ayane replies, with a grin, “You’re welcome, Naruto!” Ayane leaps down, deactivates her duel disk, and Black Rose Dragon vanishes in which Ayane runs off to a side exit to get into the stands.

In the stands, we find Sakura and Ino together and Sakura yells out, with a smile, “Naruto made it!”

Ino says, with a grin, “Typical Naruto. He had to make quite the entrance, didn’t he? He may be stronger, but he is still pretty much the same knucklehead.”

Sakura says, with a smile, “True, Ino, but Naruto is most likely a lot stronger. I heard that he had Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin and the guy that taught his dad, training him during this month.”

Ino yells out, amazed, “Whoa! No way, Forehead!” When Sakura nods her head, Ino asks, curiously, “Do you think that Naruto knows one of his dad’s jutsu?”

Sakura says, with a smile, “Knowing Naruto, he has already gotten one of his dad’s best jutsu learned already.”

Ino says, with a nod, “He is full of surprises.” Ino thinks in her mind, licking her lips a bit, “And he doesn’t look half-bad with those new clothes.” Naruto has a new set of clothes which are a tight fitting version of his old orange jumpsuit, but it is a black and orange version (A/N: Think of Naruto’s Shippuden clothing only made to fit tight onto his pre-time skip body) with a black muscle shirt that shows a well-developed muscular chest for someone of his age since his new jacket is open. He also has a red cloak similar to his dad’s on his back with the words ‘Fox Storm’ written in Japanese Kanji.

Down in the arena, Naruto tells everyone, getting to the others, “Sorry, I’m late! I was getting my clothes ready! Have to look presentable to everyone, right?”

Neji thinks in his mind, plainly, “Fool.”

Naruto asks, looking around, “Where’s Sasuke?”

Shikamaru tells Naruto, “Got me, Naruto. But then again, your teacher has a tendency of appearing late doesn’t he?”

Naruto says, with a sigh, “You know it, Shikamaru.”

The protector, a brown haired male with a toothpick in his mouth and blue bandana around the top of his scalp as well as wearing typical Chunin/Jonin outfit, tells them, “Okay, you two, knock it off. Sorry to be disrespectful to you, Naruto-sama, but you can’t be an exception when it comes to these exams. You need to present yourselves to the spectators.” Naruto looks around amazed as the crowds start to cheer for the examinees. The protector says, with a plain tone, “You guys and gals are the heroes of this final part of the exam.”

Back at the Kage stands, Kazekage says, with a plain tone, “Quite an entrance.”

Third Hokage says, with a smile, “You have to remember who his mother was, Kazekage-sama.”

Kazekage tells Third Hokage, “But of course, Hokage-sama, Kushina Uzumaki is a legend just like the Sannin and her husband.” Kazekage asks, curiously, “By the way, when do you think you are going to name your successor?”

Jiraiya, Raikage, and the Raikage’s two family members get suspicious over those words and Third Hokage says, after giving a good laugh, “You sound as if I was an old man! No, Kazekage-sama, I still have plenty of life within him! But you do have a point! Even I can’t be here forever, but I plan on staying in this world for quite awhile. Anyway, I do have an idea for a successor and I have already put it through the council which has approved in full.”

Kazekage asks, curiously, “Really now?”

Third Hokage says, with a grin, “I have, but enough about that. It is time to get things started.”

After the Third Hokage announces the start of the final part of the Chunin Exam, Kazekage asks, “You seem to be missing a candidate, Hokage-sama?”

On the meanwhile, in the stands, we join up with Sakura and Ino and she thinks, worriedly, “Where is Sasuke-kun? Why did he leave his hospital bed like that?”

Back down in the arena, Naruto asks, curiously, “What happened if someone is late to their match?”

The proctor, Genma Shiranuri, a special Jonin, replies, plainly, “If a candidate doesn’t appear when his or her name is called, the candidate forfeits the match.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “This doesn’t make sense. Sasuke isn’t the guy to miss something like this even if he had to drag himself here. Is Kakashi-sensei making him late? Is it because of that hicky that snake teme gave him?”

Soon after, Genma starts to explain about the rules which isn’t much in the making and when he is done, he says, “These are the opponents for the first match: Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze and Neji Hyuga. Those are the opponents and the rest of you can go into the waiting area.”

Naruto says, with a smile while glaring at Neji, “Shikamaru, take care of this okay? I don’t want it to get dirty after I beat the crap out of this teme besides me.”

Naruto throws Shikamaru his cloak and Shikamaru says, with a plain tone, “Whatever.” Shikamaru then slings the cloak on his back while Naruto and Neji glare at each other in which back at the stands, we find Kiba and Hinata finding a pair of seats of their own.

Kiba says, with a grin, “I think that this is going to be an interesting match.”

Hinata thinks in her mind, “Naruto-kun…”

Nearby Izumo and Kotetsu are also looking down at the match and Izumo says, “Look at who do we have here.”

Kotetsu says, with a plain tone, “We shouldn’t be surprised since you know who his parents are.”

Izumo says, with a nod, “True, but he might be the son of two legendary ninja of our village, however, it doesn’t mean squat because he hasn’t shown the talent of his mother or his father. Sure, he may have the Rinnegan, but it’s worthless if he doesn’t know how to use it correctly.”

Kotetsu says, with a sly smile, “But he has shown to surprise us, Izumo. However, he is going to have a real match in his hands and against a genius part of the Hyuga clan. With the way that he fights, Naruto doesn’t stand much of a chance unless he learned a few tricks and learned them to use them correctly.”

Izumo says, with a plain tone, “You forget about his ‘other ace’.”

Kotetsu tells Izumo, “Won’t do him much good if he is knocked out before he can use that ‘ace’ of his, Izumo.”

Kiba thinks in his mind, slyly, “I used to think that too and look where it got me! He is down there in the finals and I’m sitting on my butt watching the whole thing! If Naruto has learned a few new tricks, then Neji is most likely toast! Something tells me that being Hinata’s boyfriend does have some ‘know how’ on the Byakugan of the Hyuga clans through Naruto isn’t that good with keeping knowledge, but then again, like they said, he can surprise us and to underestimate Naruto is to lead to your downfall. Most likely, Neji, in his arrogance, will do that and Naruto will take him down hook, line, and major stinker that he is.” Soon enough, Akamaru gets Kiba’s attention and after their little ‘talk’, Kiba looks around to see an ANBU nearby on the top of the stands. Kiba thinks in his mind, seriously, “What are the ANBU blackops doing here? Something is going on and I don’t like it!” Back in the arena, we find Naruto and Neji walking over to positions in the center of the arena to face each other.

Naruto tells Neji, with a foxy grin, “Look who dares to show his rotten face! I thought that you were a genius! So, why didn’t you do the smart thing and just back down?!”

Neji says, with a snort, “Do you really think that your crude scare tactics will make me back down? The tactics of a loser.”

Naruto replies, with a smirk, “Then why were you whimpering in fear and pain when I had you DEAD to rights, teme?”

Neji replies, showing annoyance on his face, “You just managed to surprise me and it won’t happen again.”

Naruto tells Neji, with a taunting tone, “I surprised you? The one with the ‘all seeing eyes’? Isn’t that a surprise?!”

Neji says, with an annoyed tone, “Are you done with your useless taunts? No matter what your blood is or who trained you this past month, there is no changing your fate.”

Naruto says, with a snort, “Really, baka? My predecessors as Signers have done it before and guess what jerk? You are going to see that your so-called ‘fate’ is just the coward’s out in life just like you!” Neji activates his Byakugan eyes and gains a deadly expression on his face while Naruto gains a fox-like smirk on his lips as the two of them stare down each other in which his chakra aura glows around his body causing a slight wind to perk up that’s felt all around as the tension in the air is also being felt.

Genma yells out, plainly, “Okay, then, let the first match… Begin!” At that moment, Naruto charges right in and attacks with a punch with such speed that Neji barely manages to dodge or so it seems.

Neji leaps back and he says, with a smirk, “Not bad, loser, but…” However, a cut then appears where Naruto’s punch seemly miss causing blood to drip out surprising plenty of people including Neji most of all in which he thinks, stunned, “But how?”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Not as easy as you thought, eh, Neji-teme? I’m not the same guy that you saw fighting Kiba about a month ago and about who trained me, when you see one of my newest jutsu, you are going to find out.”

Neji tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “It doesn’t who trained or what jutsu you learned…”

Naruto replies, interrupting, “Are we going to fight or are you going to flip your mouth all day?”

Neji thinks in his mind, annoyed, “You are going to pay for your arrogance, fool.” Back in the stands, everyone is amazed that Naruto shed first blood, in a literal fashion, in which we find Ayane joining up with her brother, Davis, and not just Tai and Kari, but the whole of the Digidestined are with them too.

Davis tells Ayane, “Good work, Ayane.”

Ayane says, with a grin, “Thank you for the idea, Davis.”

Ryu asks Davis, “Can you see what’s going on?”

Davis replies, plainly, “Barely, but I do know that Naruto got first blood and that arrogant jerk is about confused.” Davis says, with a grin, “This is getting good.”

With Kiba and Hinata, Hinata thinks in her mind, concerned, “Be careful, Naruto.”

Kiba thinks in his mind, “Not bad, Naruto. That’s a good start, but you can’t stay too close to him unless you have superior speed. I hope that you know that or you have superior speed.”

Back in the arena, Neji remains in his Gentle Fist stance and just shuffles around in which Naruto asks, with a smile, “I don’t have all day, you know? Are you going to move or do I get a second strike?” When Neji doesn’t reply, Naruto says, with a smile and a shrug, “Okay, teme, then I’ll give a go right now!” Naruto charges in with incredible speed and launches several kunai knives, but Neji manages grab one, deflect the second one, and uses the hilt of the first one to stop the first in which Naruto comes in fast, but he then leaps into the air and launches several shuriken at Neji.

Neji thinks in his mind, slyly, “Foolhardy and worthless.” But then Naruto puts his hands together and makes some ninja hand signs.

“Ninja Art: Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Just then those several shuriken are turned into close of one thousand shuriken surprising Neji in which he manages to leap away as well deflect the attack, but Naruto, using incredible speed, appears by Neji and launches another punch. However, Neji uses his Gentle Fist to slap it away, but then Naruto uses his left hand to Neji’s arm, spins his body so that his back is behind him, and he slams his right elbow into his arm causing Neji to groan in pain in which releases Neji’s arm and leaps away.

Neji looks angrily at Naruto while winching in pain and Naruto asks, slyly, “Something wrong?”

Neji says, with an annoyed tone, “You are going to pay for that, loser.” Soon enough, Neji charges in trying to use his Gentle Fist on Naruto and TRYING is the word right since Naruto manages is dodging the attacks with ease by bending his body in the slightest ways to make sure that Neji misses his chakra points without getting close to them which is getting Neji’s ire. Naruto launches barrage upon barrage of punches and kicks in which Neji is barely able to hold them back causing Neji to get confused and annoyed on how Naruto is able to fight so well against him. Neji then tries to hit Naruto’s chakra point on the right shoulder, but he smiles and drops down in which he sweep kicks Neji causing him to fall down and he barely manages to back flip back to his feet to prevent him from falling down on the bottom.

Naruto leaps up to his feet and he asks, slyly, “What’s the matter, Neji-baka? I thought that you were going to make me pay, but you haven’t made me start to sweat.” In the stands, everyone is amazed that Naruto is holding so well against someone that’s supposed to be a ‘genius’.

Kotetsu says, with a grin, “This match is getting more and more interesting by the minute.”
Izumo replies, with a grin, “You know it, Kotetsu. That Neji kid is barely holding his own against Naruto-sama and so far, Naruto is the one in control of this match.”

Back in the arena, Naruto yells out, putting his hands into a familiar hand sign, “You know what?! Let’s take this to next level!”

“Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Naruto then creates four Shadow Clones and all of them attack Neji at once, but Neji manages to hold them back. However, Neji is struggling against them through it isn’t too much, but he is struggling not to get hit by the Shadow Clones. Neji then strikes hard and fast against Naruto’s Shadow Clones and manages to defeat them, but Naruto isn’t really that much impressed and hasn’t lost his smirk.

Neji tells Naruto, with a smile, “Is that all you’ve got Namikaze?”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Not really, baka. I’ve barely touched the tip of the iceberg of my new strength and skills. Let’s just say that I’m ready for the right moment.”

Neji says, with a smirk, “Save me your excuses, loser. You have no plan and there is no plan that you can create that will help you win.”

Naruto retorts, “Oh, really? You wouldn’t be able to know a good plan if it bit you in the ass! If something can get past that metal pole stuck up your butt!”

Neji replies, with an annoyed tone, “Is that all you can do? Waste my time with these useless attacks and silly jokes to disguise your weakness to me? I’m getting tried of this.”

Naruto tells Neji, not losing his foxy grin, “If I’m weaker then you, then I shouldn’t be dominating this match. Last time that I checked, I’m beating your ass, teme!”

Neji tells Naruto, with a plain tone, “Your little tricks have indeed caught me by surprise, I’ll admit that, but they won’t work for you any longer.”

Naruto says, putting his hands into a familiar hand sigh, “We’re just going to have to test that baka!”

“Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!”

Naruto then creates dozens upon dozens of Shadow Clones and they attack Neji at once in which Neji manages to defend himself against them, but the Naruto Shadow Clones manage to get in quite a few blows which start to slightly unnerve, but mainly annoy Neji since a ‘loser’, which is Naruto in Neji’s mind, is managing to push him this far. However, Neji charges through the Shadow Clones and manages to strike ‘the Naruto’ in the rear.

Neji tells him, with a sly smirk, “You are the one keeping out of range for fear of striking your chakra points like this. The more the others attack, the more you stand out for holding back.” As the other Shadow Clones start to vanish, Neji asks, slyly, “You are the real one, aren’t you?”

Back in the stands, Hinata says, lowly, “Naruto-kun, don’t give up…”

Then ‘Naruto’s’ lips curl into a smirk and he replies, “Wrong, baka!” Just then this ‘Naruto’ vanishes in a puff of smoke revealing it to be a Shadow Clone much to Neji’s shock.

Neji yells out, stunned, “What?!” Just then Naruto and two Shadow Clones appear behind and above Neji as they prepare to drop down and slam him hard.

Back in the stands, Kiba yells out, “All right, way to go Naruto!”

Hinata says, with a weak smile, “Naruto-kun…”

Returning to the battle, Neji thinks in his mind, “He purposely put one of his Shadow Clones back and hid himself to fool me to fall into his trap!”

Naruto yells out, slyly, “You think that I would be too chicken to attack you myself? Fat chance! You fell right into my trap and now, it is time to pay for it!” Naruto and his Shadow Clones try to strike him, but Neji then spins around and creates a dome of spinning chakra in which flings Naruto and his Shadow Clones away in which the two clones disperse.

Back in the stands, many are surprised especially Hinata and her father, who has a young Hyuga girl with her AKA Hinata’s younger sister, Hanabi Hyuga, age 9, in which Hinata thinks, shocked, “But that…”

Hiashi says, lowly, “Rotation!”

Going back to the arena, Naruto leaps to his feet and he asks, stunned, “What was that?” Naruto then creates more Shadow Clones and surrounds Neji for another attack.

Tenten thinks in her mind, with a sigh, “Sorry, Naruto, but that’s not going to work. That’s Neji’s special defense and it is unbreakable. His Byakugan can see nearly three hundred and sixty degree so he can see an attacking coming from any place. He can then unleash bursts of chakra from multiple parts of his body due to his mastery of the Gentle Fist Taijutsu and can not only defend from attacks, but repel them with his Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation. It is an ultimate defense even stronger than Gaara’s shell of sand.” Naruto tries to attack again, but he and his Shadow Clones are repelled by Neji’s Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation.

Naruto thinks in his mind, stunned, “What the heck? He stopped my attacks on all sides by creating some kind of ‘chakra shield’ by spinning around and rotating… Hold on a second!”

As Naruto starts to think about something, Neji says, cutting off Naruto from his thoughts, “It is over for you. There is no escape from my Eight Trigrams.” As Neji gets into a certain stance, Hiashi is shocked to see him in that stance.

Hiashi thinks in his mind, “That stance… it can’t be!”

Naruto thinks in his mind, shocked, “Uh oh! Hayabusa-sensei warned me about this and now, it is coming! Time to use THAT!” Naruto then slips into a stance that looks similar to the Gentle Fist stance, but somewhat different in which Hiashi recognizes immediately.

Hiashi thinks in his mind, “I know that stance anyway! Did… HE teach him the technique that his clan used to defeat our ultimate Taijutsu attack?”

“Eight-Trigrams Sixty-Four Palm!”

Neji then attacks preparing to slam two bursts of chakra into Naruto’s chakra points, but Naruto defeats the attack by bending his body and twisting to the right causing Neji’s attack to fail. Neji is shocked by this, but he goes on with four bursts of chakra, however, Naruto bends his body down causing the attack to go over him. Neji tries again with eight bursts of chakra, but once again, Naruto defeats the attack by spinning into the air. Neji attacks again when Naruto lands, but Naruto back flips straights into the air and over Neji to avoid that attack which had sixteen burst of chakra. The next strike, which had thirty-two strikes was defeated by Naruto by twisting to Neji’s right side causing the attack to miss again.

Neji thinks in his mind, angrily, “You won’t get away from the final strike, loser!” Neji then comes in for the final attack of sixty-four strikes of chakra energy, but Naruto rolls into the ball and rolls out of the way just in time causing the final attack to fail completely. Everyone was in shock since Naruto had just defeated the Hyuga clan’s ultimate Taijutsu attack. Neji asks, in a rare flabbergasted tone, “But how? How can he defeat the ultimate technique of the Hyuga clan?”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Simple. I used the ‘Dance of the Lotus Dragon’, the technique developed by the Hayabusa clan to defeat the Hyuga’s ultimate Taijutsu!”

Neji yells out, annoyed, “That’s impossible! No technique can defeat this one!”

Naruto asks, slyly, “How did I just do that, baka?”

Back in the stands, Ino yells out, “That’s just… incredible! Naruto defeated Neji’s ultimate technique like it was nothing!”

Sakura says, with a smile, “I’m not surprised, Ino. When you underestimate Naruto, you are in for a rude awakening.”

With Tenten, she thinks in her mind, stunned, “No way! Naruto just defeated Neji’s ultimate attack like… like it was nothing!”

With Hiashi, Hanabi asks Hiashi, “Father, how can this be? How did he defeat our ultimate Taijutsu?”

Hiashi says, with a plain tone, “Long ago, the Hyuga and Hayabusa met on the field of combat and study our Taijutsu in which they developed a way to defend against it. The result: One of our own was killed when our Taijutsu was crushed. It was never mentioned or known expect by the clan elders and clan head, but I knew different. I had used our clan’s Taijutsu against a Hayabusa… and I was lucky that I survived.” Hanabi’s eyes widen at what her dad just said to her and Hiashi thinks in his mind, “Neji… your defeat is about to come to pass.”

Back in the arena, Neji is fuming that Naruto has defeated his clan’s ultimate Taijutsu attack and Naruto yells out, putting his hands into a hand sign, “And now, it is my turn, baka!” Naruto creates more Shadow Clone via a Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu in which they attack Neji for all sides.

Neji thinks in his mind, with a cocky smile, “This again? Fool.” Neji then uses his Eight-Trigrams Palm Rotation to defend against the Shadow Clones which are dispelled easily, but then Neji sees Naruto dropping down on him in which he and a Shadow Clone is forming a complete Rasengan in his right hand.

Naruto yells out, “It’s time to show you my newest ‘ultimate jutsu’, baka!”

Neji thinks in his mind, stunned, “What is that?!”

There are plenty in the crowd that know exactly what it is and Kurenai, who is also watching, thinks in her mind, “That jutsu!”

Asuma, who is sitting by Kurenai, thinks in his mind, “Could it be?”

“Rasengan!”

Naruto then slams the sphere of chakra into Neji’s dome of chakra which causes a powerful shockwave that’s felt by everyone in the stadium and cracks the ground around them slightly from the sheer power of the attack. And you must remember, Neji might have a large dome of chakra, his chakra is spread out and Naruto’s chakra is compressed into that sphere of spinning chakra in which you can compare Naruto’s attack to a spring that’s pushed down to its maximum and trying to release the pent up energy that’s keeping it pushed down. In this case, Naruto’s attack is equal to the strength of Neji’s chakra dome causing both techniques to cancel out with a loud ‘boom’ and throwing both fighters down to the ground hard.

However, Naruto gets to his feet and he yells out, slyly, “Awesome! It worked!”

Neji, who has far less stamina and chakra levels than Naruto, struggles to get to his feet and he asks, stunned, “What was that jutsu?”

Naruto says, with a grin, “That was my dad’s legendary jutsu: The A-rank Rasengan.”

Neji asks, stunned, “A-rank? You know an A-rank jutsu and it is your father’s jutsu?!”

Naruto says, with a grin, “That’s right. My dad took three years to develop this baby and let me tell you… it only took me over a week to get it mastered!”

There are plenty of gasps and Raikage yells out, stunned, “A week? A juts that took the Fourth Hokage three years to make, he got in over a week!”

Jiraiya says, with a smile, “That’s right, Raikage-sama! Remember, his mother had a talent for ninjutsu and Naruto has inherited in full! It took him a lot of work, but he got it down… and then some!”

Raikage asks, perplexed, “What do you mean?”

Third Hokage says, with a smile, “Something tells me that we are going to find out, Raikage-sama.”

Returning to ‘duel’ between Neji and Naruto, Neji yells out, annoyed, “You lie! You couldn’t have…!”

Naruto tells Neji, with a grin, “I just did, jerk! I learned a jutsu that took my dad three years to develop in under two weeks and even during my training to use my dad’s cool jutsu, I was training in a lot more! I was surprised by your little defense trick, but you really shouldn’t have done that since your jutsu reminded of my dad’s jutsu and how it involves spinning chakra in a small package with a lot of power.”

Neji thinks in his mind, “That jutsu. I can see. It is spinning chakra into a compressed form and released all that chakra like a mini-cyclone when it hits causing maximum damage! If that hit me, I would be crushed! But how?! How can he learned such a jutsu that took the legendary Fourth Hokage years to develop in just under two weeks?! He might be his son, but he is nothing compared to his father! He is a loser with just some great gifts that he has no control over! It took him his Rinnegan and the Kyuubi’s chakra to crush me last time, but now, he is fighting me to a standstill without even trying!”

Neji gives a growl of annoyance and frustration and Naruto asks, slyly, “What’s the matter, Neji-teme? Can’t figure out a way to defeat me with that ‘genius’ of yours?”

Neji tells Naruto, with a snort, “Be silent, you!”

Naruto replies, making a motion to say ‘bring it on’, “Make me, teme!” Neji growls as he attacks Naruto, but his attacks are for nothing while Naruto manages to dodge them. Naruto thinks in his mind, “That’s right, baka! Keep using up that chakra! Unlike me, you don’t have my stamina or chakra reserves! Believe it! Those hands are a bit of a problems, but thanks to Pervy Sage’s and Hayabusa-sensei’s training, I’m more than ready for you.” Naruto tells Neji, tauntingly, “Is that all the mighty genius of the Hyuga has? While I like the workout, I thought we were going to fight not dance.”

Neji growls in anger and he yells out, “You are going pay for your words, loser!”
Naruto replies, with a foxy smile, “Loser? Is that all you got? And by the way, who is making a fool of who?”

Neji yells out, angrily, “Shut up, Namikaze!” For the rare time other than his battle with Hinata, Neji Hyuga loses his cool and charges in to attack Naruto with wild attack, but Naruto easily dodges the attacks and counters with some strikes that don’t really hurt Neji, but they have the result that Naruto wants: Enraging Neji even more. This causes his attacks to become sloppy and Naruto to easily dodge, avoid, and even counter. The majority of the audience is dumb-struck that Naruto of all people made the ‘calm genius’ of the Hyuga lose his cool completely.

In the stands, Hinata is worried and Kiba tells her, slyly, “Don’t worry, Hinata. Naruto is now in complete control. That’s the same trick that he used on me. Now that Neji is pissed off, his attacks are sloppy allowing Naruto to dominate him. I’ve got to admit that for a gaki, he is good. And I’m loving how he is making a complete monkey out of him! Sorry, Hinata, but your cousin looks so… stupid!”

Nearby, Kotetsu says, with a grin, “Not bad. Namikaze-sama has gotten into the Hyuga’s head.”

Izumo says, with a grin, “That’s not all he is doing, bud. Remember, Naruto has tons more chakra and stamina that he does, so, he will barely break a sweat against this. While the Hyuga on the other hand…”

Kotetsu says, with a grin, “I see, Izumo. But then again, he is the ‘Red Storm’s’ kid.”

Back at the battle, Naruto is completely in control as Neji strikes wildly in which Naruto slams his foot into his face sending him stumbling backwards and Neji growls at him after he recovers, but he then thinks, “Hold up! He isn’t attacking! I’m falling into his trap! He has far greater chakra and stamina that I do and he wants me to waste my attacks!” Neji then calms himself down and he says, with a plain tone, “I’m not going to fall into the same track that you tried to use on Kiba Inuzuka. You are trying to make me waste my chakra and strength because since you have greater stamina and chakra, you can outlast me. I won’t make this your fight.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “So far, it has been MY fight. None of your tricks work and I made your so-called ‘ultimate Taijutsu’ fall down by the wayside.” Naruto tells Neji, with a plain tone, “Anyway, before I go on and make more of a fool of you for what you did to Hinata, I want to know why from you. Your uncle and Hinata’s dad told me that it was ‘bad blood’ between you and your fellow Branch members or whatever and Hinata’s side of the clan called this ‘main family’.”

Neji says, with a snort, “Bad blood? Is that all? It is more than that, but if you want to know. Fine. Let me show you the ugly truth about the Hyuga clan.” Neji then removes his headband and displays the Curse Mark jutsu of the Hyuga clan on his forehead in which Hiashi lowers his head in shame. He then explains how he got it, how it works, how the Branch family lives in fear because of it, and about what happened on Hinata’s third birthday and during the peace treaty between the Cloud and Leaf village in which Hinata was kidnapped, but her dad stopped and killed the man which was revealed to be the one the Cloud representative that they sent to sign the peace treaty. Neji then reveals about his father and how he died in which he believed that they murdered him to protect the main house and the Hyuga clan’s bloodline.

When he was done, Naruto says, with a plain tone, “Fine, pal. Your dad was killed because of what happened between your dad and that Cloud asshole that tried to kidnap Hinata-chan. But Hinata had nothing to do with it!”

Neji says, with an annoyed tone, “Fool, you don’t know what it means to be branded with a mark! One that can never be taken away!” Naruto closes his eyes as his expression gets serious and plenty in the audience knew that Neji just sealed his final defeat with those words.

Sakura says, lowly, “He shouldn’t have said that.”

Ino asks, curiously, “What do you mean Sakura?”

Sakura says, solemnly, “Neji just pushed the wrong button on Naruto. It’s Neji that doesn’t know anything.”

Just then Naruto’s whole body is covered in his chakra aura, his eyes shoot revealing a deadly glare in his eyes that scares even Neji, and he yells out, angrily, “You have got some fucking nerve, teme! I know damn well about something far more than you can imagine!” Just then Naruto’s chakra turns into an intense whirlwind of energy as it becomes stronger and not a hint of it was the Nine-Tailed Fox’s chakra in which Naruto yells out, angrily, “Let me tell you something: Your life is nothing, but a picnic compared to mine! And let me tell you something! On the day that I was born, this Madara Uchiha jerk attacked my parents and used me to get to my mom because she held the one thing that he wanted! The Nine-Tailed Fox! That’s right! My mom before me was the container of the Kyuubi just like her ancestor! I’m the third ‘container’ of the fox because my clan’s, the Uzumaki’s clan, strength and stamina live on through me! My dad was forced to lose his life to seal it inside of me not to save the village, but save the world! He charged me since he believed that I’m the ‘chosen one’ to stop that asshole! But before he died and was sealed into the Shinagami’s belly, he begged for me to be treated like a hero. Did the village honor his wish? No freaking way! They betrayed my dad and my mom and treated me like the fox! I’ve had more attempts on my life than any Kage could have in a lifetime! They’ve beaten me, threw out in the streets when I was just a little kid, and I had to fend for myself nearly all my life because Madara cost my parents and these baka villagers, the civilians, never trusted my dad and his abilities! They say that they loved him, but they betrayed him and my mom after all that they did for the village by dishonoring my dad’s final wish with his final breath! I was angry with my dad, but he never really wanted this life for me in the first place! He loved and cared for me, but he also trusted me to right the wrongs and prevent the world from falling into darkness! What the villagers did was one thing, but knowing what they did to me made my old man roll in his grave along with my mom enrages me to no end! They have no right to honor my dad or even call him ‘Fourth Hokage’ with the nightmare that they put me through pissing and spitting on my mom’s and dad’s grave with every word that they mutter out while beating and putting me down, his son, at the same time!”

There are plenty of gasps from the people in the stands, mainly by the foreign visitors, in which in the Kage stand, Killer Bee thinks in his mind, “Whoa, man! The Namikaze kid was just like me when I was a little snot, yo!”

Yugito thinks in her mind, “Namikaze-sama is just like Bee-sama and me.”

Raikage gives a snort at this and he says, with a low annoyed tone, “Why am I not surprised? And this is why we have family members of our Jinchuriki made into Raikage… so that stuff like this fucking hash doesn’t happen, old man! Or at least, has a better chance of not happening! And you didn’t put a stop to this! He was your successor’s kid!”

Third Hokage says, with a sigh, “I know that Raikage-sama. I tried my best to help him, but the councils…”

Raikage yells out, annoyed, “Crap, Hokage-sama! You are the Hokage! Ruler of the village! The councils are your dogs! You are not their dog! They go out of line?! You crush them like fleas! That’s why they don’t care touch my cousin and bro here! They dare try it and I’ll crush them like the little rats that they are!”

Third Hokage says, lowly and solemnly, “I wish that I learned that sooner.”

Raikage says, with a plain tone, “You should have grown a backbone for the kid, sooner. I’m not saying that stuff doesn’t happen in my village, old man, but we have this tradition to give people like my bro and Yugito a chance to have good lives and show that they are human as anyone else! It is not that case, officially, but it is part of the tradition in my mind and the mind of my uncle before me! You had better be glad that he turned out the way that he did, Hokage-sama.”

With Sakura and Ino, Sakura has her head down and Ino says, shocked and horrified, “That’s Naruto’s life?!”

Sakura says, with a nod, “It is, Ino.”

Ino thinks in her mind, solemnly, “I had put him down and berated him. I guess… I should say my sorry.”

As his powerful chakra whips the air, Naruto yells out, strongly, “But did I let myself become something like that teme or Gaara?! No, I refuse! I refuse to become what those assholes tried to make me ass! I chose to rise above that and become a better person! A great person like my mom and dad would be proud of! I was nearly drowned in darkness, but when a few people came to show my light and kindness, I never let the darkness conquer me! Nor hated or rage, teme! In the words of Haku-chan, I chose to be a protector… a protector of the people that I care about most and the truly innocent people in this world! Now, I know… I know why the Crimson Dragon chose me to replace Ryu’s and Ayane’s lost family member who had my ‘Mark of the Dragon’ because I let myself gain a burning flame of will that darkness can never put out! Never to be conquered by hate and rage… someone like one, teme! So, just cut out the ‘fate’ crap because we make our own path and destiny! And we can make or remake who we are! But you choose the coward’s way and now, get ready to see what a coward gets, Neji-baka!” Soon after, Naruto vanishes with incredible speed in which Neji looks around trying to find him, but when he sees him with his Byakugan eyes, he turns behind only to get a fist right in his face causing his nose to bleed. Naruto then vanishes again and reappears to slam a kick before Neji could make a move or say a single word. Soon enough, the fight becomes completely one-sided with Naruto using Neji as his punching bag.

There are plenty of shocked people including one Tenten in which she thinks in her mind, stunned, “This can’t be happening! No way! Naruto is using Neji as his punching bag! He is moving so fast that Neji is just standing still to him!”

Neji thinks in his mind, groaning as he is getting pounded again and again, “But how… how can be so powerful… without using… that chakra… this can’t be! Was he holding back his full power all along?!” After landing another blow, Naruto leaps to the wall and throws more shuriken in which Neji deflects with his Eight-Trigrams Palm Rotation, grabs them as they fall, and throws them back with more of his own, yelling out, “Take this, Namikaze!” He throws them as Naruto jumps towards him, but he vanishes in mid-air causing them to get stuck on the wall. And before Neji knew it, he got Naruto’s right knee in his gut causing him to gasp for air. Naruto then back flaps three times and he creates a Shadow Clone.

Naruto says, with a grin, “I heard that you like close range, huh? Well, try to take this!” With his clone’s help, he creates another Rasengan, but this more is even stronger. When they were done, Naruto charges in, kicking up immense dust as he charges in with his dad’s jutsu in his hand and his chakra aura flaring. Naruto yells out, strongly, “If you think that you can’t fight, then stand there and take it like your deserve because I believe you can make your own destiny! And I will forge my path with my own hands and someone like you isn’t getting in the way! So, get out of the way since I’m coming through!”

Neji thinks in his mind, “I need to use my Rotation and quickly! I can’t take that attack head on!”

As Neji unleashes his Eight-Trigrams Palm Rotation to defend himself, Naruto shouts out, “I will change the ways of the Hyuga clan when I become Hokage like my dad before me! Now, take this, Neji-baka!”

“Rasengan!”

Naruto then slams his spiraling sphere of chakra into Neji’s chakra shield which causes a bright light and then a massive explosion since both combatants are using more power in their techniques than before. The explosion sends both combatants flying through the air and slam into either side of the arena with loud ‘thuds’ while the explosion itself rocks and shakes the whole of the stadium.

Ayane yells out, shocked and worriedly, “Naruto!”

Genma thinks in his mind, “That’s some chakra that kid’s got! He must have done a lot of training to get a chakra of that level without using a hint of the fox’s power. And using the Fourth Hokage’s Rasengan with that intensity?! There is no way that Neji kid is conscious much less standing.”

Back in the stands, Sakura asks, confused and concerned, “Which one is Naruto?”

Ino replies, amazed, “Don’t ask me! I don’t even know what happened!” Just then out of one of the smoking craters, Neji emerges with his clothes torn, his body bruised and bleeding with a few ‘skid burns’, and his chakra mainly exhausted, but still conscious and able to move, barely, gets over to the other crater and he finds Naruto, down on one knee and seemly exhausted as well, but also still conscious.

Neji tells Naruto, weakly, “Sorry, loser, but this is reality. This match is over.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “That’s right… but it is for you. You just fell for the same trick twice!” Just then ‘Naruto’ vanishes in a puff of smoke revealing it was a Shadow Clone causing Neji to gasp in shock, he then hears the ground burst out from behind him and he turns to see the real Naruto with two Shadow Clones creating another Rasengan, but this one is filled with water chakra causing the spiraling sphere to look like mini-water twister!

“Water Style: Tsunami Rasengan!”

Naruto then slams the attack right into Neji’s chest creating a spiral wave of water chakra energy that slams into him like a powerful wave that break several of his ribs and sends him flying into a tree causing him to hit, hard, knocking the tree over in which Neji slumps down on the tree stump. Naruto breathes heavily in which his clothes are dirty and he has suffered some cuts and bruises as well as cut deep under his fingernails digging his way out, but they are getting healed fast due to his enhanced healing.

Neji groans out, “I can’t move…”

Naruto says, going over to Neji, “Game over, teme.”

Neji says, with a moan, “You had that planned all along, didn’t you? Like that match with Kiba, you counted outlasting me with your superior stamina and endurance and wear me down so you can make your final move.”

Naruto says, with a weak grin, “Pretty much, Neji-baka.”

Neji says, with a snort, “I should have know. The Shadow Clone Jutsu is your specialty.”

Naruto replies, plainly, “Is that a fact? Well, you should that I failed the Genin Exams three times because there is a jutsu that I couldn’t get: The regular Clone jutsu.” Neji’s eyes widen at the implied meaning of what Naruto is saying and Naruto says, with a serious glare, “Never come to me whining about this ‘destiny’ crap because I’ve heard it and I know that it is a loud of bull, teme! And don’t you dare tell me that you can’t change who you are! I was the worst of my class, but now, I’ve ‘improved’ on my dad’s legendary jutsu. He could have done what I did, but he never got a chance. However, the point is that you can well change who you are and choose what path you want to follow. You decide and no else! And you can do it too since now, you are and you always been, as a person anyway, a failure. Believe it.”

Genma smiles and he calls out, “Winner of the match: Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze.” And with those words, a lot of people in the stands start to cheer and celebrate Naruto’s victory over Neji which has more meaning that just winner this fight. Naruto’s star is on the upward spiral, but unknown to anyone, a mysterious wearing an orange Dark Signer cloak is watching the match as a whole with a glowing violet mark in the shape of the hummingbird of the Nazca Lines appears on the figure’s lower right arm.

Davis: Way to go, Naruto!

Hinata (warmly): Naruto-kun…

Sakura: Great job, Naruto. But Sasuke-kun is missing…

Naruto: Don’t worry about it, Sakura-chan. Sasuke wouldn’t miss this for the world!

Shikamaru: Man! I have to fight another girl.

Temari (slyly): What are you going to do tough guy?

Ino (stunned): Whoa! Those Cloud ninja are powerful!

Kakashi: I hope that we made it.

Naruto: It’s about time, Sasuke! Don’t tell me that you let Kakashi-sensei almost make you miss your chance.

Gaara: Sasuke Uchiha… make me feel alive.

Ryu (confused): What’s this? Feathers?

Sakura: Genjutsu?

Third Hokage: So, it’s you… Orochimaru!

Orochimaru: It has been a long time Sarutobi-sensei!

Third Hokage: And now, it is time to finish what I’ve should have done long ago!

Hinata: Who is that?

Mysterious Duelist: I’m just here to help Orochimaru destroy this place! Face me, Signers, or this place and its people perish!

Ryu (stunned): No way! That’s… Machine Emperor Wisel!

We’re really taking this through a fast pace and the Chunin Exams are going to end soon. Sorry to make it so short, but it is mainly going to remain the same expect for the battles between Naruto and Neji with three Cloud ninja added into the picture. But now, there is a Dark Signer added to the picture and SHE has a connection to Naruto. I think that this preview makes obvious on who this Dark Signer is going to be, but I’m not saying anymore!
