Welcome back, everyone! The Chunin Exams are about to come to an end and there is going to be another twist in the form of an identity of one of the new ‘Dark Signers’! Who is this ‘Dark Signer’? Sorry to say that I would be revealing a bit of the plot and I don’t want to do that! You also must be wondering when our Signers are going to looking for Jaden Yuki, too. Do not worry, their quest in that regards will start soon enough. For now, let’s get on with the show!

Chapter 14: The Dark Hand Revealed

Right now, we find ourselves in the center of the main arena in the Hidden Leaf Village where we find one Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze standing over a beaten and battered Neji Hyuga who is slumped up against a tree stump from a tree his body knocked down when Naruto unleashed his last attack on him making him weak and injured to move in which Naruto was beaten Neji Hyuga in this match of the Chunin Exam finals in which many people are amazed, even dumbstruck, in which they know that Naruto is the son of the Fourth Hokage and Kushina Uzumaki, he hasn’t ‘displayed’ the level of ‘genius’ that his dad had and he was going against the ‘genius’ of the Hyuga clan, but he won in which the proctor of this exam has just acknowledge.

Tenten says, lowly and shocked, “It… Neji… oh no…”

Sakura yells out, excitedly, “You did it!” Soon enough, rounds of applause comes from the audience and Naruto looks on amazed at hearing such cheers, but he then smiles and gives a ‘V’ for victory sign.

Ayane yells out, “Way to go, Naruto!”

Hinata says, with a warm smile, “Naruto-kun…”

Back down in the arena, Naruto jumps out and yells out, “Oh, yeah! I told you! I can’t be beat! Who’s the man?!” Naruto jumps into air and holds the ‘V’ for victory sign.

With our Digidestined group, we hear a female voice, “I’ve got to say that Naruto kid isn’t too bad!” Our Digidestined look to see a young teen girl of sixteen years old with long magenta hair, light red lips, and wearing a tight fitting black shirt that goes half-way down her waist, a pair of black fingerless fighting gloves showing off her red colored nails, tight fitting black shorts that goes up to the bottom on her navel leaving mid-drift, and she has a pair of high-heeled knee-high open-toed high-heeled boots with one inch heels.

Davis says, with a grin, “It is about time, Jun.”

The teen girl replies, with a smirk, “Can it, squirt. When you are in the Elemental Countries, you need to dress the part. We are going to be working as mercenaries under the Kage of this village after all.”

Davis says, with a grin, “I know, Jun. Through I think that you took too far when those civilian asshole burst into the meeting. Mom and I had to take the others or that chakra of yours would have caused them to go into shock.”

Jun says, with a snort, “They pissed me off, bro. Besides, what are civilians doing in charge of a ninja village? They shouldn’t have any power at all.”

Izzy tells Jun, “It does make sense since civilian type businesses are also run in this village.”

TK says, with a plain tone, “But Jun does have a point. When people have power, they want more and more.”

Matt says, with a nod, “Isn’t that a fact of life, bro? I just can’t believe that they do this to a kid.”

Jun says, with a plain tone, “Humanity stupidity with a capital ‘T’, Matt. Plain and simple. It is a miracle that kid turned out the way that he did, but it looks like he is much like Davis and nothing can conquer him.”

With Sakura, she thinks in her mind, “Naruto is getting stronger and stronger at an incredible rate. He could barely do any jutsu and now, he has such a powerful jutsu in his arsenal. And he beat Neji without using the Kyuubi’s chakra and the Rinnegan.”

A Leaf kunoichi nearby says, amazed, “Wow, did you see that? He won that fight.”

Another young teen girl says, “What did you expect? He is the Fourth Hokage’s and Red Storm’s kid after all.”

The Leaf kunoichi says, with a nod, “I know, girlfriend, but that Hyuga kid seemed incredible despite the edges that he had. However, you saw it yourself, girl! He beat him without using his Rinnegan at all! And he used a jutsu that his legendary dad invented! I heard rumors about that jutsu and it is one of the top level jutsu! It takes a long time to learn one of those and in just a month… incredible!”

The young girl replies, with a smile, “He is on the road to success. He will become Hokage just like his dad.”

The Leaf kunoichi says, with a smile, “And he is kind of cute with those whisker marks. I think that someone like him is under the CRA.”

The other girl replies, with a giggle, “Like you have a chance with him?”

The Leaf kunoichi yells out, annoyed, “And why not?” Soon enough, the two girls start to argue about Naruto and Sakura lowers her head.

She thinks in her mind, “I hate to admit it, Naruto, but I do envy you. You have status, a powerful bloodline, and your power and abilities grow in leap and bounds seemly every time that you train. But you never let your status and bloodline go to your head and you work hard to gain your strength. This shows me that I need to work hard to become a true kunoichi or I really never get anywhere.”

With the other competitors, Shikamaru asks, amazed, “Naruto defeated Neji? I knew that Naruto had way more chakra and stamina that Neji, but Neji had brains and can use his bloodline more effectively than Naruto along with tactics. But Naruto, of all people, managed to outwit him and defeat him as if he was an Academy student… a first-year student even. I thought Naruto was still just like me even with his new fame… dorky and uncool.”

Shino asks, plainly, “Dorky and uncool?”

Shikamaru says, “And now, everyone says that he is just going to be like his mom and dad and knowing Naruto, he will make himself even bigger than that. This is just great. I doubt that I can beat him now. He just defeated Neji without using either of his aces, you-know-what’s chakra and the Rinnegan. If he could beat Neji without them, I can imagine what happened if Neji fought Naruto at ‘full power’. Naruto would turn me into Swiss cheese… no, he would turn me into steamed ramen before he was done with. This is such a major drag.”

Joining up with Kurenai and Asuma, Kurenai says, “He beat Neji without having to use the fox’s chakra or his Rinnegan.”

Asuma says, with a nod, “I’ll say, Kurenai. And in just a month, he learned the Fourth Hokage’s, his dad’s, Rasengan, which dad told me it took the Fourth Hokage three years to develop.”

Kurenai asks, stunned, “Learned a jutsu that took the Fourth Hokage created in three years in just a month?”

Asuma says, with a plain tone, “Not just learned… improved. That last Rasengan used Water nature chakra. Most likely, Naruto held back not too lethally injury Neji through. It was something that the Fourth Hokage never did.”

In the Kage stands, the Third Hokage thinks in his mind, amazed, “I can’t believe it! He has done it! He has completed the work on the Rasengan that Minato left unfinished! He has infused elemental chakra into the Rasengan.”

Jiraiya asks Third Hokage, “So, what do you think Old Man?”

Third Hokage tells Jiraiya, “Did you help him complete the work that the Fourth Hokage left unfinished, Jiraiya?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “A bit, but he did it all on his own.”

Raikage yells out, amazed, “Yo, Third Hokage-sama! Is that what I thought it was? Is that legendary Rasengan, the jutsu of the Fourth Hokage?”

Jiraiya says, creating his own Rasengan, “That’s right, Raikage-sama. The Fourth Hokage taught it to me and I passed it onto him. However, he did more than that and completed his dad’s work.”

Yugito asks, curiously, “What do you mean Jiraiya-sama?”

Jiraiya replies, “This Rasengan is the basic version, but it is an incomplete jutsu. The Fourth Hokage wanted to add his Wind nature chakra into it and while this jutsu is A-rank, imagine what could happen if you added certain elemental chakra into it?”

Raikage asks, stunned, “You mean that this kid finished his dad’s work?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “Bingo, Raikage-sama! He actually learned the ‘basic version’ of the Rasengan in under two weeks while it took the Fourth Hokage three years to develop this jutsu.”

There are gasps in shock and Yugito yells out, “Learning a jutsu in under two weeks that took three years to develop?”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “And it took me a year to learn myself. His mother had a talent for ninjutsu and her little boy is just the same. He used our special clone jutsu, the Shadow Clone Jutsu, to help him in his learning and training.”

Raikage says, with a grin, “I get it. I know that jutsu. Those type of clones are solid, not illusions. And the user remembers what happened with his or her clones after the clone dispels. And with that fox and his own Uzumaki clan stamina, this kid must have been able to produce hundreds of clones to help him.”

Jiraiya says, with a grin, “A few thousand at most, Raikage-sama.”

Yugito thinks in her mind, amazed, “So, this is the power of the Uzumaki clan, the once great clan of sealing ninja, and close friend of the Senju clan, the founding clan of this village. With such growth and power, he could become the most powerful ninja in the whole world.”

Raikage says, with a grin, “Well, Third Hokage, despite your village’s stupidity, this boy has grown into a shinobi and person beyond many in your village.”

Third Hokage says, with a smile, “He has indeed. He has proven during this day, he was far more than the village gave him credit before. And his mother and father would be ever so proud of him.”

In the arena, as medical personal go over to Neji, Genma tells Neji, “Even a caged bird will smarten up and one day, find a way to open the door of his cage with his beak. The dream of flying and breaking free is too much to resist. But this time, you lost to a bird… no, a dragon that has long since spread his wings and fly high like the majestic being that he is, Hyuga.” Soon enough, Neji was taken away while Hiashi looks on with a solemn look with his younger daughter looking at him quizzically.

(A good time afterwards; Elsewhere in the stadium)

In the medical wing of the stadium, we find some medical personal looking over the injured Hyuga to look at the seriousness and amount of his injuries.

One doctor says, with a plain tone, “Good news. You haven’t suffered too serious injuries. There might be a few broken bones and such, but nothing too seriousness.”

Another doctor says, with a nod, “Namikaze-sama held back on the power of his final jutsu making sure that you didn’t gain lethal injuries. Other than these few injuries, you also have chakra exhaustion. But given a little time and some healing jutsu, you will back on your feet in no time.” As Neji thinks about what happened in his battle with Naruto and his words as well as his actions that caused him to lose this match, he can’t help to wonder about things including why Naruto didn’t use full power and take him out for good.

Just then a knock comes from the door and it opens in which Hiashi steps into the room in which one doctor says, “Hiashi-sama…”

Hiashi says, with a plain tone, “I’m sorry, but can I ask for you to step outside for a moment? I overheard and I didn’t want to disturb you if his wounds needed immediate treatment.”

The first doctor says, a bit nervously, “The wounds aren’t life-threatening, but this is unusual.”

Hiashi says, with a plain tone, “It won’t take long and I won’t keep you from your work.”

The second doctor says, with a nod, “As you wish, Hiashi-sama.”

After the two doctors leave the room, Neji tries to stand and Hiashi says, plainly, “I would advise against sitting Neji, my boy. Namikaze-sama did injury you. Be grateful that he held back his power on purpose in order to save your life and just defeat you.”

Neji asks, annoyed, “What do you want, Hiashi-sama?”

Hiashi tells Neji, with a sigh, “To tell you why you lost. You gave Namikaze-sama the strength by giving him a reason. You underestimated him and you underestimated the power of the human spirit and the human heart. The bond between my elder daughter, Hinata, and Namikaze-sama are just starting to come together, but it is already strong. By striking her down so ruthlessly, you gave Namikaze-sama the strength that he needed to defeat you. You could have far greater chakra and ability than he had and you would have still lost, Neji.”

Neji says, with a sneer, “Get to the point, Hiashi-sama.”

Hiashi tells Neji, shaking his head, “You have fought with nothing, but hatred in your heart. And hatred can never defeat determination and love. It is a lesson that I know all too well, Neji. And you must be wondering: Is that the only reason that he didn’t kill me? I believe so that Namikaze-sama is just like his father and mother in which they don’t kill unless absolutely necessary, but there is another reason: Hinata and I asked Namikaze-sama separately to have mercy on you.”

Neji asks, stunned, “What?”

Hiashi tells Neji, “You never had a chance before to break those chains of hatred that you were bound by, Neji. It was because of THAT day. I, in my cowardice, never gave you the truth about what happened to give you that chance.”

Neji yells out, angrily, “What kind of lie is this? I know what happened!”

Hiashi tells Neji, “You saw what you thought what happened and I let you believe it with my silence. Now, it is time to break that silence…” Hiashi takes out a scroll from his robes and he says, “This is from your father and my brother. Once you read it, you will know that it is his handwriting.” Hiashi goes over and gives Neji the scroll in which Neji, not trusting, opens up the scroll in which he sees that it is his father’s handwriting.

Neji thinks in his mind, “This is my father’s handwriting! There is no mistaking it!” Soon enough, Neji reads from the scroll and he learns that Hiashi was willing to give his life, but the elders were the ones against it in which they proposed that Neji’s father and Hiashi’s brother, Hizashi Hyuga, but used as Hiashi’s double. Hiashi was against and tried to give valid reasons against this plan, but the elders countered him. Neji then read that his own father made sure that Hiashi was unable to interfere in which he reveals that he didn’t do this to save the main family of the Hyuga clan, but to save his brother, Hiashi, protect his village and home from war, and to finally be able to choose his own path.

Hiashi then bows in front of Neji and he says, with a bit of a pleading tone, “Please forgive this man for his cowardice.”

Neji is shocked by this and he says, “Hiashi-sama, please get up.” When Hiashi rises to his feet, Neji looks out the window and towards the sky.

Hiashi turns to leave and he says, “This is the reason… your father and my brother is the reason that I started to see the rift in our clan and fought with all of my might to spear my children for going through what Hizashi and I went through. Hinata is struggling and growing, but she will become a strong ninja. However, her kind heart can’t handle what it means to be a leader of our clan. Something from her mother in which I, knowing of Namikaze-sama’s heritage before, knew that she would be safe with him and her ‘bond’ with him gave her strength showing me the lesson that power of the heart is one strongest forces of our world.”
Neji says, with a plain tone, “That’s why you wanted to marry her to him. To keep her from getting the wretched ‘curse mark’.”

Hiashi says, with a plain tone, “Protecting the clan bloodline is a good thing, but the ‘curse seal’ is becoming a relic of the past. However, there is nothing that I can do, but if Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze becomes Hokage, like his father before him, the Hyuga clan shall change forever. Of which, I leave you a request. Ensure that my daughters stay safe and ensure Namikaze-sama’s rise to power. It isn’t an order, but a request. One that I leave to you to take, Neji.” Hiashi then leaves the room which leaves Neji much to think about in which he looks up to the sky in which he sheds tears from his eyes.

Neji thinks in his mind, “Father, I believed that destiny was like a cloud trapped, but now, I am not so sure. I am not so sure that the destination is the same whatever path that you choose. You go down one path and you conflict with another who has a completely different path. Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, his words, I know that his words are true. He spoke from the depth of his heart. The villagers tried to force him down one destiny, but he refused and he forged his own path. He made himself into a person far beyond what the villagers tried to make him, falsely, out to be. I tried to destroy his light with the darkness, but in the end, all I did was ensure my defeat at his hands. His light… is a flame that can never be put out and the more that you try, the more the flames shall burn brighter and in the end, you are the one that be burned by his flame. From now on, I shall do my best to live life and become stronger in which I will never lose again. However, father, I am not sure that I can ever beat Naruto. I know understand… his true power.”

(Back in the main arena; around the same time)

Returning to the main arena, we head up into the Kage stands where Killer Bee is smiling as well as trying to figure out how to make a ‘rhyming rap song’ to celebrating his ‘brother’s’ victory.

The Kazekage laughs and says, “The crowd is sure electrified.”

Third Hokage replies, “That’s because it was a terrific fight.”

Kazekage replies, “Of course, Hokage-sama. It is that too, but…” Third Hokage and Raikage look at Kazekage and he says, “It is also anticipation. Don’t get me wrong. I think that the people were also anticipating this first match. Who wouldn’t be excited about the child of the Yellow Flash and Red Storm going head to head with the genius of the Hyuga clan? And I believe that they got more than they ever hoped. Such an excellent display of skill and ability through at the Hyuga’s expensive I believe. Despite the ‘programs’ that the village gave him, the Namikaze has indeed shown that he is indeed one of the pride of the village. The Daimyo and other leaders are also looking forward to this match and they want to see how the Uchiha ‘stacks up’ with the Namikaze. Two matches with two ninja that come from the two once great clans, the Uzumaki and the Uchiha, happening in a row is a rarity indeed.”

Third Hokage says, with a nod, “It is indeed, Kazekage-sama.”

Kazekage asks, curiously, “By the way, Hokage-sama, wasn’t Sasuke Uchiha missing from the opening ceremonies?” Third Hokage gives a nervous glance in which Raikage gives a curious glance.

Raikage yells out, annoyed, “If he is late, he should be disqualified! If this was a real battle, when you are late, your comrades suffer and battles are lost!”

Kazekage says, with a plain tone, “True, Raikage-sama. That is unless you are delaying for time. Say that you are an important part of a plan that will win you an important battle, but you need time. Your comrades give you that time, but something happens that delay. It can be anything because in real life, delays of all sorts can happen. Your comrades are desperate for help, but the plan can still work because the enemy doesn’t know anything and they are overconfident of victory. You are going to be late, but do you rush off to save your comrades which jeopardize the whole plan and may possible cause you to lose the battle making your comrade’s sacrifices completely worthless or do you wait because going through with the plan gives you a better chance for victory in the end?” Raikage winches because he knows that the Kazekage has brought up a good point.

Jiraiya says, with a plain tone, “I must admit that Kazekage-sama does bring up a good point, Raikage-sama. You brought up a good point too as well, don’t get me wrong. If this was a real life battle and you are late, your comrades will suffer and you might lose the battle which might be critical. But with delaying actions to implement a bigger plan, there are many possibilities for delays to the implantation of that plan in which if you rush in before the plan is ready, you might also lose that battle.”

As the Raikage growls about this, deep within the stands, the crowd is getting restless on where is Sasuke in which Ino asks, curiously, “Where is Sasuke-kun?”

Sakura thinks in her mind, “Sasuke-kun…”

Joining up with the Digidestined, Jun says, with a snarl, “Who does that Uchiha prick think that he is? Just because he is the last of his clan doesn’t mean that he is king of the world! If it was me, I would find him and drag him to battle!”

Davis says, with a grin, “If it was you, he would end up in pieces!”

Jun replies, with a wide grin, “Now, what’s makes your say that bro?”

Matt thinks in his mind, nervously, “After what I experienced with Jun, I’m surprised that I’m still alive!”

With Naruto, he is back with the rest of those in the finals, Shikamaru asks, “What does that Sasuke thinks that he is doing? Forfeiting?”

Kauri tells her comrades, “I can’t believe what an asshole that Uchiha is being! They should just disqualify him and keep him in his place.”

Omoi says, with a plain tone, “For once, girl, I agree. I heard that the Uchiha were arrogant, egoistical assholes, but this is real annoying.”

With Naruto, he looks at Gaara and he thinks, “I’m not sure about Sasuke fighting this guy. I don’t like the teme, but even I don’t want him to end up crushed like the other victims Gaara has made. And Gaara is a Jinchuriki, which is what they call people that contain Biju. No normal ninja can handle him unless you are a Kage or someone like Pervy Sage and Snake Baka.” Naruto tells Shikamaru, “Come on, Shikamaru, he wouldn’t miss this for the world. Believe it.”

With the Sand ninja, Kankuro whispers, “This is bad. If Sasuke doesn’t show up, the plan will be ruined.”

Temari says, with a nod, “Yeah, you’re right, Kankuro.”

In the Kage stand, Third Hokage thinks in his mind, “What shall I do? I don’t wish to seem to play favorites, but we need more time to prepare for what Orochimaru has planned for us.” Just then images of Ninja Ryu, Ninja Ayane, Kasumi, Momiji, and Jiraiya are assembled together with the Third Hokage in his office in which Ninja Ryu believes that Sand and Sound are working together with the evidence of Orochimaru and Sand’s Jinchuriki, Gaara, being here in which Jiraiya mentions about Yugito and Killer Bee. Ninja Ayane then says about those two wanting to keep an eye on the ‘Signers’ to make sure that the Crimson Dragon’s power isn’t used against them and they doubt that they are in on it. However, Third Hokage mentions that they can’t be sure about that, but he does agree that if the attack comes, it will come when Sasuke Uchiha fights Gaara in his match. Third Hokage says that he will start preparations immediately to counter Orochimaru’s attack on the Leaf while Ninja Ryu tells him that while he is working with Naruto along with Jiraiya, he will continue to gather information. When the images fades from the elder Hokage’s mind, he thinks, “It has been one month and Hayabusa-sama has brought in plenty of compelling evidence including Danzo’s cooperation with Orochimaru which might be how be figured out ways to get past our security that includes his own knowledge. I know now that Orochimaru will indeed attack when Gaara fights with Sasuke and most likely, Sand is in league with him. With access to technology from the outside world, Hayabusa-sama founds evidence on Hayate’s corpse of the DNA of Baki, the Sand ninja, which shows that he has been killed by him. There is a remote possibility that Sand is preparing their own attack on us, but it is most likely, they are in league with Orochimaru. After Jiraiya gave his intelligence about what was happening in the Land of Wind, it has become very certain now that Sand is going to attack us and why. However, we need more time to prepare those that aren’t here to be sent into the caves under the Hokage monument with our defenses being prepared as quickly and as secretly as possible. We can’t give them any clues that we are in on them, but if the match doesn’t happen, who knows what will happen next? Orochimaru might call off the invasion or he might attack right away.”

Kazekage tells Third Hokage, “Anyway, while the Raikage has a point, I do have my point about lateness ‘factoring’ into real-life combat. In short, you should consider this: Saving the best for last, Hokage-sama. Postpone his match and let the others go on as usual. I believe that you will allow the other matches to go on while keeping the mass placated for now. If Sasuke Uchiha doesn’t show up after that, then by all means, disqualify him.”

Jiraiya says, with a snort, “I don’t know.”

Raikage says, with a growl, “And I say that you are nuts! You might have a good point with that stuff, but…”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “Fine, I will postpone Sasuke’s and Gaara’s match to last, but when his match is called again, if he does not arrive for his match, he is disqualified… No exceptions!”

Kazekage says, with a nod, “As you wish, Hokage-sama.”

Raikage gives a snort of disapproval and he thinks, “I don’t like it, but I want to wait! Why does the Kazekage want this match to happen so bad? And it is bull just because his kid is part of it! Based on what Bee and Yugito tell me, that Gaara kid is the container of the One-Tailed of the Sand and from what I heard, his daddy wasn’t good to him either. Something doesn’t smell right, I know that the Hokage smells it too! He wants to see it as much as I do… or is there something else, Hokage-sama?” Soon enough, Hokage informed his guard to go down to Genma and inform him of the change which he does so.

Jiraiya tells the Third Hokage, “If it is all right with you, I’m going down to meet up with my student. I want to celebrate his victory after all.”

Third Hokage says, with a smile, “But of course, Jiraiya.” Jiraiya then vanishes in a large puff of smoke while the Hokage’s guard goes down to inform Genma of the news in which afterwards, Genma announces that Sasuke’s and Gaara’s match is postponed.

Afterwards, Shikamaru says, stunned, “Oh, man! That means that my match is even closer! What a drag!”

Genma yells out, “Then Shino and Kankuro! Come down right now!”

Kankuro thinks in his mind, “Great! It’s my match, but it doesn’t really matter. I don’t want to reveal the mechanisms of my puppets until our plans comes into fruition.” Kankuro looks at Temari and she nods her head at some kind of unsaid agreement. Kankuro yells out, “Proctor, I withdraw!”

Genma asks, stunned, “What?”

Kankuro yells out, “I withdraw, so, please move onto the next match!” The crowd wasn’t happy about this at all and starting to yell out their disapproval, but the Cloud team looks at Kankuro with a serious glare in their eyes.

Karui thinks in her mind, “I smell a rat here! And it isn’t just this Sound ninja jerk!”

Samui thinks in her mind, “There is more to this than meets the eye.”

Omoi thinks in his mind, seriously, “Samui and Karui can tell too. These Sand people are up to something and something tells me that it is more than having their ninja becoming Chunin. Does the Leaf know what’s going on?” Temari then uses her wind jutsu and giant war fan to fly down into the arena.

Genma asks, plainly, “And you are?”

Temari replies, with a sly smirk, “It’s my turn right?”

Genma says, with a plain tone, “You are sure an eager on, huh? Okay, let’s start the next match.” Genma calls out, “Hey, Shikamaru Nara, up there! Come on down!”

Shikamaru says, with a worried tone, “Oh, man! Why does my match have to be pushed up so fast? It is such a drag!”

Genma calls up, “Shikamaru Nara, come on!”

Shikamaru thinks in his mind, “If it is going to be like this, then maybe I’ll withdraw too.” But then Naruto smacks him on the back and he yelps as he falls down into the arena as well as onto his back. Shikamaru thinks in his mind, annoyed, “Naruto, you jerk!” Soon enough, Temari attacks him before Genma yells out the start of the match, but Shikamaru, using his superior brain power which he never used back in the Academy, manages to entrap her with his Shadow Possession Jutsu with some very well-thought and careful maneuvers. However, Shikamaru forfeits the match due his chakra being very well expended giving the match to Temari, but there are plenty of ninja that are impressed because they know that sometimes, the smartest thing to do in certain situations is to retreat and fight another day.

In the stands, Jun says, with a smirk, “For lazy bum, he is pretty smart. He knows how and when to fall back. Knowing Davis, he would have continued going even through that he is making a complete tactical error.”

Davis replies, with an annoyed tone, “I’m right here, you know?”

Jun retorts, with a grin, “I know, squirt.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed, “Hey, Shikamaru, what’s the big idea quitting the match like that?”

With the Cloud team, Karui says, with a plain tone, “For a lazy bum, this kid is smart. I don’t like it that he quit the fight, but Bee-sama taught us that retreating is better than fighting a battle that you can’t win.”

Samui says, with a nod, “He got his plans down perfectly against this Sand ninja and he knew that he was at his limit in which he knew when to withdraw.”

Omoi says, with a nod, “I agree, Samui-san. He is defiantly Chunin material right there.”

Karui tells Samui, with a plain tone, “Okay, Samui, it’s your turn, girl.”

Samui says, giving Dosu brief looks, “This won’t take long.”

Dosu thinks in his mind, with a plain tone, “That Cloud bitch is going to pay for underestimating me.” While Shikamaru returns to the stands, Samui and Dosu leap down into the stands.

Genma tells them, “Samui of Cloud and Dosu of the Sound Village, are you ready?”
Dosu says, with a sinister sly tone, “I’m ready.”

When Samui gives a nod of acknowledgment, Genma yells out, “All right, you can begin!” Dosu then charges in to use his Sound jutsu attacks, but Samui leaps away, takes out her sword, and charges it with lightning chakra while moving just one hand to perform hand signs.

“Lightning Style: Storm Crash Jutsu!”

Samui then slams her sword into the ground creating a huge shockwave of lightning that slams into Dosu and he screams out in immense pain and agony as he is hit by the blast causing him his smoking form to collapse to the ground in which he is unconscious before he hits the ground.

The majority in the stands are shocked and Samui tells Genma, plainly, “Proctor, you can see the match is over.”

Genma replies, plainly, “Right. The winner is Samui of the Cloud Village.” Genma thinks in his mind, stunned, “Whoa! In just one blow!”

Naruto calls out, stunned, “Oh, man! She took him out in one blow!”

Shino says, plainly, “Interesting.”

Kankuro thinks in his mind, nervously, “Oh, crud. I didn’t think that these Cloud ninja were a problem. With their Raikage and two people that are just like Gaara, just far more stable, the invasion may be a bad idea after all. If the Cloud people get involved, we are going to be in trouble if they are anything like her.”

When Samui returns the stands, Karui says, with a grin, “Great job, Samui!”

Samui replies, with a plain tone, “It was easy. His attacks were too obvious.”

Omoi says, with a nod, “I know, girl.” Afterwards, Dosu’s smoking and unconscious form is taken off the field, Omoi knows that it is his turn against his fellow Cloud ninja in which he thinks, with a mental sigh, “And now, it is my turn with Karui. Man, I get the worst luck sometimes!” When Genma calls them down, Omoi sighs as he and Karui come down in which Karui has a smirk her lips.

Karui says, with a grin, “Don’t worry, Omoi. I won’t hurt you… much.”

Omoi says, lowly, “That’s reassuring, Karui.” Soon enough, when the match starts, both of them unleash powerful attacks with lightning style jutsu and they also battle with strong Taijutsu and sword fighting attacks with incredible speed and skill that amazes many in the stadium. After quite a bit of time, the match ends when Omoi forfeits the match to Karui making her the winner, but they had plenty of cheering and applause, but those that were mainly not from the Leaf Village for obvious reasons. But then soon enough, it was Sasuke versus Gaara, again, and Genma called down in which it looked like Sasuke will lose by default in which Sasuke, wearing a black outfit, and Kakashi appears in a swirl of leaves.

Kakashi calls out, “Sorry, we’re late. You couldn’t believe the traffic.”

Naruto yells out, annoyed and excited, “It’s about time! Hey, Sasuke, how could you let Kakashi-sensei get to you like that?!”

In the stands, we find Rock Lee, walking with aid by crutches, and Might Gai with Sakura and Ino in which Lee says, “He made it just in time!”

Sakura and Ino smile and Sakura yells out, “Rock Lee!”

Lee says, with a smile, “It’s me! I wouldn’t miss it for the world! I also heard about what happened between Naruto and Neji and I hope that it is true!”

Ino says, with a smile, “If you mean that Naruto turned Neji into a pincushion with ease, then you have got that right!”

Lee thinks in his mind, with a smile, “So, it is true what those guards at the door said. Well done, Naruto.”

Shikamaru thinks in his mind, “Just like the Uchiha. Making us wait around like Emperor of the universe.”

Naruto yells out, excitedly, “It’s about time! Did you nearly chicken out knowing that you would face me next?”

Sasuke calls out, with a smirk, “Big talk, Dobe! Did you win?”

Naruto calls out, excitedly, “What do you think? Do you see Neji-baka standing up here?! I turned him inside out! Believe it!”

Sasuke calls out, with a grin, “Don’t get too full of yourself, Naruto. I have gained far greater strength than you can imagine.”

Naruto yells out, “You aren’t the only one working his butt off! You shouldn’t have waited until the last minute to get here and missed my match! Wait until you see my newest jutsu! It is a real blast! Believe it!”

Kakashi thinks in his mind, “A new jutsu, huh? I heard rumors that Jiraiya-sama has returned to the village, so, did he learn THAT jutsu? If he did, I’m glad because something tells me that he is going to need it.” Kakashi says, rubbing his head, “By the way, how late were we? It isn’t like that Sasuke is disqualified.”

Genma says, with a plain tone, “You are lucky. The Hokage postponed the match and you have just arrived just in time… barely.”

Kakashi replies, nervously, “That’s good.” Soon enough, everyone is looking towards Gaara and Kakashi thinks in his mind, “Despite that part of me that thinks that what I did was a real bad idea, I had to teach Sasuke THAT jutsu of mine. If he is going against a Jinchuriki like Gaara, he is going to need all the power that he can get. I also hope that giving Sasuke this jutsu will temper his desire for power… at least for a little while.” Soon enough, Gaara heads down to the arena and sometime soon after, Gaara comes out onto the field while Kakashi heads off into the stands where Sakura, Ino, Lee, and Gai were looking on.

Kakashi tells them, “Hello, Gai. Hello, Lee. I hope that you are feeling better.”

Might Gai says, with a smirk, “Kakashi.”

Sakura says, “Kakashi-sensei!”

Kakashi tells Sakura, nervously, “Sorry for not keeping in touch, Sakura. You must have been really worried.”

Ino thinks in her mind, “Oh, boy! Sakura is going to get real mad.” However, Sakura surprises Ino when she looks down at Sasuke specifically his neck and doesn’t something.

Sakura thinks in her mind, “It is too far to see.” Sakura then asks Kakashi, “Sensei about that mark…?”

Kakashi tells Sakura, “It is nothing to worry about, Sakura.”

Sakura looks at Kakashi and Ino thinks in her mind, confused, “A mark?”

Kakashi says, with a sly tone, “And that’s that.” Sakura gives a sigh of relief and smile in which Kakashi asks Sakura, “Sakura, about Naruto’s match? Did he use any interesting jutsu?”

Sakura tells Kakashi, “He did. He used some kind of weird swirling ball of chakra. He said that it was one of his father’s jutsu… The Rasengan.”

Gai’s eyes ‘bug out’ and he yells out, “THE Rasengan?! One of the Fourth Hokage’s legendary jutsu?”

Lee asks, curiously, “Gai-sensei? What are you talking about?”

Gai says, with a plain tone, “The Rasengan is an A-rank ninjutsu developed by the Fourth Hokage, Naruto’s father. It is said that it took him three years to develop.”

Lee says, amazed, “That’s incredible!”

Gai says, with an amazed tone, “I’m amazed that Naruto learned his father’s jutsu in just one month. Jiraiya-sama himself knows the jutsu, but it took him a whole year to learn it.”

Kakashi says, with a nod, “That’s right, Gai.”

Ino says, with a plain tone, “Wow, that’s what Naruto said. But his last ‘Rasengan’ or whatever was weird. It looked like a sphere of water that was swirling in his hands. He called it…”

Sakura says, with a plain tone, “Water Style: Tsunami Rasengan, Ino.”

Kakashi and Gai gasp in shock and Kakashi thinks in his mind, whipping his head towards Naruto, “A water style Rasengan?! Naruto, have you completed the work that your father, Minato-sensei, started?! I know that the Rasengan, through powerful, was an incomplete jutsu. He wanted to add his wind style chakra into it and make even more powerful, but what happened with the Nine-Tailed Fox ended that.” Kakashi asks Sakura, curiously, “Sakura, are you sure?”

Sakura says, with a nod, “Yeah, Kakashi-sensei. Neji looked like he was hit by a tsunami or something and it looked like Naruto held back a lot for his final blow.”

Gai says, dumb-struck, “Incredible, Kakashi. It looks like Naruto has gone beyond what his father did with the Rasengan!”

Kakashi says, with a sly tone, “He has, Gai. And I’m not surprised at all. Kushina-sama always had a talent for ninjutsu and it looks like Naruto has inherited her knack for it.” However, Kakashi looks around and sees eight ANBU around the area. Kakashi says, lowly, “Eight of the ANBU in an arena this size. What could Hokage-sama be thinking? Hayabusa-sama gave us fair warning and he knows that HE will strike during this match.”

Gai replies, “We all know, Kakashi. But we aren’t sure where the enemy will strike and your delay at getting here was probably used by Hokage-sama to prepare for the threat that’s to come. However, even through we know that the Sand are collaborating with HIM, we are not sure their point of attack. Most likely, Hokage-sama feels that the attack will start on the outside with Orochimaru and a few key operatives including Sand ninja already here will attack her. Hopefully, the Cloud ninja and the Raikage aren’t in league with him.”

Kakashi tells Gai, in a low voice, “Based on what we know, the Raikage is concerned about the Crimson Dragon being used against the Cloud Village and he is making sure that doesn’t happen. He felt that if it was necessary to kidnap the Signers, their Jinchuriki are the best ones for the job. However, he knows that Naruto, son of the Fourth Hokage and Kushina-sama, is the holder of the Nine-Tailed Fox and he has complete access to its chakra without the fox spirit itself influencing him at all anymore, the Raikage won’t be stupid enough to say make an attempt on them when Sand and Sound attack our village.”

Gai says, with a nod, “That’s a good point, Kakashi. As Hokage-sama said, Orochimaru wants more than Sasuke now. He wants the Signers and Naruto for his ‘gifts’ that he recently ‘gained’.”

Kakashi says, with a nod, “I know, but Orochimaru knows that Naruto isn’t some ordinary ninja he can take down and now that he has one of his father’s jutsu, he might think twice.” Kakashi thinks in his mind, “Through with Orochimaru, who knows that sick mind is up to? For now, we need to keep our eyes open and prepare for anything next. The attack will come during this match and we need to be ready.” Kakashi then looks around and he then sees the figure with the Dark Signer cloak on him in which the figure vanishes into the shadows. Kakashi’s eyes widen and he thinks, seriously, “It may already be worse than I thought. That was no illusion and whoever that was, already sensed him. And based on the description…” Kakashi then goes over to where the Fudo twins and the Digidestined are in which Kakashi asks, “If you don’t mind, can one of you go get Naruto for me?”

Ayane asks, curiously, “Why Kakashi?”

Kakashi says, pointing to Ayane’s right arm, “The rest is on your left arm.”

Ryu’s and Ayane’s eyes widen and Ryu says, plainly, “I’ll go get him.”

As Ryu heads off to get Naruto, Davis asks, with a serious tone, “Signer, business?”

Kakashi says, with a nod, “Signers ears only.”

Ayane says, with a plain tone, “I’ll go get Hinata.”

Kakashi says, with a nod, “If you don’t mind, Ayane.” Ayane then heads off to get Hinata, but Davis puts his left hand over his right.

Kari asks Davis, “What’s wrong?”

Davis says, seriously, “I’ve got a real bad feeling about this. My right arm has been feeling ‘itchy’.”

Yolei asks, perplexed, “So, you have got a scratch?”

Tai asks Davis, “That weird ‘Mark of the Dragon’ that you got.”

Davis says, with a nod, “Yeah. It has been telling me: ‘Danger’.”

Mimi asks, a bit nervously, “Are you sure that you aren’t imagining things?”

Kakashi says, plainly, “I don’t think so and I think I know what set it off through I’m not sure why I didn’t see his ‘Mark of the Dragon’ go off.” Kakashi thinks in his mind, “Could that person have been a fake or is it possible that THEY have found a way to mask themselves even from the power of the Crimson Dragon, THEIR polar opposite? If the energy of the Netherworld is near, the ‘Mark of the Dragon’ should be burning, but Davis said that his ‘Mark of the Dragon’ was only giving him a weak signal of danger. Whatever the case, I don’t know it. If the Dark Signers decided to make their move when Orochimaru and the Sand Village is attacking us, we could be in grave danger.” Kakashi then turns to look down at the match and they look to see Genma call for the start of the match. Sand comes out of the gourd and Sasuke leaps back.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, “So, this is the sand that Kakashi talked about?” But then Gaara holds his head as if he is having a massive headache and starts to mumble to himself in which Sasuke thinks in his mind, “What’s going on? Is it… the demon within Gaara that Kakashi warned me about? The one that gives Gaara his ability to use sand like that?” Just then the sand falls to the ground and Gaara looks at Sasuke with a stoic look in his eye.

Gaara says, plainly, “Come on.” Sasuke then attacks with shuriken, but Gaara’s sand becomes a Sand Clone in which Sasuke charges in and having to face a wave of sand heading for him. Sasuke leaps out of the way and the clone launches the two shuriken that Sasuke attacked the original with, but Sasuke uses more shuriken to deflect the attack. Sasuke attacks the clone and gets rid of it and charges in for the attack, but Sasuke’s punch is about to be blocked by Gaara’s sand. However, Sasuke smirks and vanishes in a burst of pure speed in which he appears behind Gaara. Gaara thinks in his mind, “He’s fast… like that other one…” He then remembers his battle with Lee before Sasuke lands a blow in same movements that Lee used on him sending him spiraling to the ground, hard. Soon enough, Sasuke began to use his incredible and Taijutsu moves very similar to Lee’s Taijutsu style to attack Gaara with blow after blow. At one point, Gaara then puts himself in a circle sand cocoon.

Naruto asks, stunned, “What’s going on here?”

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Naruto!” Everyone looks to see Ayane, who looked a little pale, come into the area and Ayane says, a bit nervously, “Kakashi wants to meet with you.” Ayane then points to her right wrist and Naruto gets the meaning of what Ayane is talking about.

Naruto says, with a nod, “Okay, Ayane, I got it. But you…”

Ayane tells Naruto, fearful, “I just saw… two bodies… of two guys… crushed into pieces… and I think that Sand guy did it…”

There are gasps of shock and Shikamaru asks, stunned, “What a drag! What did they do to get him pissed off?”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Oh man! Gaara is so out of control! Sasuke-teme is good because against someone containing one of those monsters similar to the fox?!” Naruto says, rushing off, “I’ve got to go see, Kakashi-sensei, right away!”

Ayane says, “Wait for me, Naruto!”

Kankuro thinks in his mind, nervously, “Gaara can’t be thinking to use THAT jutsu, is he?” Sasuke attacks the sand sphere, but he gets nearly sliced by some spikes that come out of the orb result in a few nasty cuts on his right hand and on the right side of his face. Sasuke leaps back in which he reveals a wound to his leg in which the blood from his right hand are from his bleeding knuckles.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, “He used all of the sand to create this new kind of shield, huh? With the sand density, I didn’t think that he could create something this hard.” Back in the stands, the others are wondering about this.

Jun says, seriously, “I don’t like this. It looks like some kind of cocoon.”

Davis asks Jun, “Jun, do you think it is like what mom talked about when she told us about Jinchuriki and those monsters that people sealed inside of them?”

Jun says, with a nod, “I think so, little bro. Get ready to get out of here if this nutcase goes THAT far.”

Sora asks, curiously, “What are you talking about?”

Davis says, with a nervous tone, “When we were little kids, mom told us stories to scary stories about the ‘Tailed Beasts’ and about how the people that contain them can turn into those monsters.”

TK asks, curiously, “Are you saying that guy is going to…?”

Jun says, plainly, “If he is, you don’t want to find out.”
Just then a voice calls out, “Kakashi-sensei!” Everyone looks to see Naruto and Ayane rushing towards them.

Sakura says, with a smile, “Naruto!”

Lee says, with a smile, “Good to see you, Naruto!”

Naruto tells Kakashi, “Kakashi-sensei, you need to stop this match right now! You know what Gaara is and something tells me that he is about to go ballistic on Sasuke and this whole stadium!” There are gasps of shock as Gaara form some kind of eye with a bit of sand to keep an eye on Sasuke as he prepares for whatever jutsu that he is going to perform.

Temari thinks in her mind, “This is bad! Gaara isn’t thinking about the plan anymore!”

Kakashi tells Naruto, “I know that you are concerned and you have a right to be concerned, but there is a reason that we were late getting here, Naruto.” Sasuke, Sharingan blazing, attacks the sand cocoon, but his attacks do nothing and he barely manages to avoid the spikes that come out of the cocoon when he comes in close range.

Sasuke thinks in his mind, slyly, “None of my attacks did anything to him. Big surprise.” Sasuke thinks in his mind, “So, are you going to stay there forever? Fine! It gives me time to prepare for what I have for you!” Sasuke then leaps back onto the arena wall for some distance, makes some hand signs, and points his left hand down towards the wall.

Baki thinks in his mind, “What is that little fool think he is doing? The signal could come at any time!”

With the other competitors, Kankuro whispers to Temari, “What does that lunatic think that he is doing?”

Temari whispers back, “I don’t know, but he isn’t following the plan anymore. This is bad.”

Kankuro thinks in his mind, nervously, “This isn’t going to work. We should cut our losses and get out of here.” On the meanwhile, Shino, Karui, Samui, and Omoi managed to listen in on them.

Shino and Samui think at the same time, “Plan?” Back with Sasuke, his left hand seems to be charged with electric energy and in the stands, Gai gasps at what Sasuke is doing.

When he looks at Kakashi, he says, “This is why I teach Sasuke myself. In certain ways, he is just like me.”

As Sasuke charges down with his left hand crackling with electric chakra and sounding like chirping birds, Gai says, “A physical activation! That’s why you focused on his Taijutsu! You needed to get him to build up for the speed needed for this jutsu.”

Kakashi says, with a smile under his mask, “Exactly.”

Sakura says, amazed, “His chakra, it’s so visible. I can’t believe that it is possible.”

Gai thinks in his mind, “So, he has mastered that jutsu already? This is what the Uchiha are capable of, huh?”

As Sasuke gets closer and closer to Gaara within his sand cocoon, Sakura asks, curiously, “What is that strange sound? What kind of jutsu is this?”

Gai replies, “It is a jab, but it is a jab like none other. This is the only jutsu in Kakashi’s arsenal that he didn’t copy from someone else.” There are plenty of gasps as Gai explains about the jutsu while Sasuke gets closer and dodging attacks in which Gai tells them the name of the attack, Chordi, One Thousand Birds, as Sasuke strikes inside of the sand cocoon.

There are many gasps of shock especially from the Sand ninja and Kankuro says, stunned, “That’s impossible. No one can get pass Gaara’s defenses.”

Temari says, stunned, “No way.”

Baki says, lowly and shocked, “I can’t believe it.”

In the Kage stands, the Kazekage actually looks pleased and Third Hokage says, lowly and surprised, “That jutsu is Kakashi’s.” Back with Gai, he explains to the others about how the jutsu is also known as Lightning Blade in which when, as Gai says, Kakashi cut a bolt of lightning in half with the jutsu through Ino isn’t so sure that’s the truth in which Lee is solemn knowing that Sasuke has grown to level that’s above him.

For awhile, there is silence and then Gaara’s voice screams out, in horror, “BLOOD! IT’S MY BLOOD!”

Gaara’s teammates are shocked and Kankuro asks, stunned, “What’s happening?!” Sasuke then yelps as he feels something clamp down on his arm and he struggles to get it out.
Temari thinks in her mind, shocked, “Can this be? Gaara in pain?!”

Sasuke then yanks his arm out causing a large monster arm made of sand come out with him and there are gasps of shock in which Gai asks, stunned, “What’s that?”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “Could that be… the demon within Gaara? The One-Tails?”

Baki says, lowly, “Gaara, you little fool…”

Kankuro asks Temari, “Is that ‘thing’ taking over again?”

Temari replies, nervously, “I don’t know, Kankuro. This hasn’t happened before. I think that Gaara is hurt.”

Kankuro thinks in his mind, “I remember the first time I saw that… ‘thing’… awful… horrible…” When the sand arm returns back into the hole that Sasuke put in the sand cocoon, Sasuke looks inside and sees a yellow demonic before hearing a monster-like roar come from the cocoon. But then the cocoon cracks and breaks apart revealing Gaara with a badly injured and bloody left arm and shoulder.

Temari says, “I was right. He’s hurt. The shell was broken before the transformation was complete.” On the meanwhile, one of the ANBU puts his right hand on a guy’s shoulder and he faints in which he puts his hands into a hand sign. Soon after, everyone in the stands start to feel light-headed and see feathers.

Naruto thinks in his mind, “What’s going on… Uh oh! A gen…genjutsu…!!” Naruto then puts his hands into a hand sign, focuses his chakra to do something, and he yells out, in his mind, “Release!” Soon enough, other ninjas including Kakashi, Sakura, and Gai, do the same thing.

Davis yells out, putting his hands into the same hand sigh, “Grab onto me now! And don’t argue!” Without hesitation, all of the Digidestined and Digimon grabbed Davis or grabbed someone holding onto Davis in which he puts his hands together in which he yells out, strongly, “Release!”

After Jun has done the same thing, she says, with a sigh, “It is a good thing that mom taught how to spread your chakra out to make multiple people released from a genjutsu at once.”

Davis says, with a nod, “No joke, zit-face.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “That was close! I’m really glad that Pervy Sage and Hayabusa-sensei taught me to spot and get out of genjutsu which is my worst subject over all!” On the meanwhile, Ryu and Ayane use the same technique to get them out of the Genjutsu.

Baki thinks in his mind, “So, Kabuto has made his move, huh? The time must be close.”

Yugito yells out, “Raikage-sama, someone is casting a genjutsu over the audience!”

Raikage calls out, stunned, “What?!”

Just then the Kazekage looks at the Third Hokage and he asks, “Shall we begin?” Just then his two guards run forward, drop smoke bombs, and a huge explosion is heard from the Kage stand causing everyone to look up towards that area.

As the ANBU quickly get up and start to move out, Baki, Temari, and Kankuro thinks in unison, “The operation has begun!”

Just then Ninja Ryu yells out, “Kakashi! Gai! The invasion has started! Sound and Sand ninja are attacking the village!”

Sakura calls out, stunned, “What?!”

Gai says, with a serious tone, “So, this is it, huh? Time to go to work, Kakashi!”

Kakashi yells out, with a nod, “Right!”

Ninja Ryu tells Naruto, “Naruto, do you remember that special jutsu that you learned from Jiraiya-sama? Use on Gaara now!”

Naruto gives a confused look and he replies, “Oh, yeah! Right!” Naruto then charges down towards the arena as the ANBU head up towards the Kage stand in which more ANBU seem to burst out of seemly nowhere.

Kakashi tells Ayane, Ryu, and our Digidestined, “The rest of you need to leave the stadium right now! There is going to be a battle here!”

Yolei asks, stunned, “What?!”

Jun says, with a serious tone, “Don’t argue with the man. Just go.” Jun then whips her heads and two beautiful looking katana come out of two sealing jutsu on her clothing.

Davis says, with a plain tone, “Just be careful, sis.”

Jun replies, with a grin, “I’ll be just fine, squirt.”

Haku then appears on the scene and she says, “I’m here to get you and your friends out, Davis-sama.”

Davis says, with a sigh, “Can you cut out with that ‘Davis-sama’ stuff, Haku-san? I kind of feel… silly.”

Haku says, with a smile, “Forgive me, but you are a Signer after all.”

Ayane says, with a smile, “You’ll get used it… somewhat.”

Jun tells Haku, “Take care of Davis and his friends. He is a real pain, but he is my brother after all.”

Haku says, with a nod, “No problem, Lady Jun.”

Jun says, with a grin, “Just call me, Jun.” Soon enough, the Fudo twins and the Odabia Digidestined along with their partners head to the exits escorted by Haku while Hinata and Kiba with Akamaru also arrived on the scene.

Sakura says, “Hinata!”

Kiba says, seriously, “Kakashi-sensei, I think I know who cast that Genjutsu. One of those ANBU isn’t an ANBU! It’s Kabuto!”

Kakashi yells out, stunned, “What?!”

Kiba says, pointing to the ANBU where the first guy feel under the Genjutsu, “That’s him! Akamaru says that he smells like Kabuto!” Their attention immediately diverts to him in which Gai leaps towards him and attacking in which the ‘ANBU’ leaps away to the forward portion of the stands where he was surround by a group of Sound ninja.

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, “Time to end that charade, Kabuto.”

The ‘ANBU’ removes his mask, showing Kabuto’s face, and he says, with a smirk, “I’m not surprised that an Inuzuka and his pet would sniff me out. Didn’t give me a chance to take him out of the picture.”

Hinata asks, stunned, “What is Kabuto doing with the enemy?”

Kakashi replies, “He is the enemy, Hinata-sama. He is one of Orochimaru’s spies. He has been for years.”
Hinata gasps in shock and Kiba yells out, stunned, “What?!”

Kabuto says, with a sly smile, “Kakashi is right, Inuzuka. In fact, I bet Naruto already knows and he was the one that raised the alarm about me.”

Kakashi replies, with a plain tone, “That’s right. Due to him gaining complete control of the fox’s power, he has gained the ability sense negative emotions and auras and yours stood out. I think that you already knew why Naruto trusted you when you first met, didn’t know?”

Kabuto says, with a grin, “I had my suspicions, Kakashi.” Kabuto asks, seriously, “By the way, what does that brat think he is doing?”

Kakashi replies, slyly, “You think that I’m going to tell you, Kabuto. You are going to have to find out.” On the meanwhile, in the Kage stands, the Third Hokage’s lone guard was critically injured and the Kazekage grabbed the elder Kage, putting a kunai to his neck.

Raikage yells out, “What is the meaning of this outrage, Kazekage-sama?!”

Kazekage replies, “You are going to have to find out, Raikage-sama. I have no battle with you, so, if you wish to live to see your homeland, stay out of this. This is between the Leaf, the Sand, and the Sound.”

Third Hokage thinks in his mind, “So, Hayabusa-sama was right!” The Kazekage takes the Third Hokage onto the roof of the Kage stand while the Leaf ANBU kill his two guards, but the both halves of the two guard turn into four Sound ninja, one male with black hair, four arms, and tan skin, another male with silver white hair with green colored lips, a female with long red hair and brown eyes, and one large male with spiky orange hair, in which all four ninja are wearing similar grey robes and black pants along with the same kind of ninja sandals and violet rope tied around their waists. When the Leaf ANBU try to make a move, the four Sound ninja put up a barrier known as the Four Flames Formation, but before the jutsu starts, the Raikage and Cloud two Jinchuriki burst through a portion of the roof joining the Third Hokage and Kazekage. However, the barrier comes up and when one of the ANBU slams into it, he bursts into flames before rolling off the roof to his death.

Kazekage says, with a plain tone, “Why am I not surprised, Raikage-sama? I heard that you are quite the ‘brute’ as they say.”

Killer Bee yells out, angrily, “Hey, you don’t go dissing my bro, yo!”

Raikage tells Killer Bee, “Stand down, Bee… for the moment.” Raikage tells Kazekage, “To be honest, I wouldn’t care less for the Leaf Village, but this is an event shared by all villages to keep the peace and by launching an attack, you have broken the rules that we have set up for this! Plus, you attacked while I was in attendance, so, I’m well within my rights to beat you to the ground, Kazekage! So, what is up with you and the Leaf? You are supposed to be allies!”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “Not anymore. The Wind Daimyo have been doing actions that have weakened the powers of the Sand Village which they felt to need serious action, so, they have allied with the Sound village to attack us to force their Daimyo to allow them to regain the strength that they have lost due to his actions including giving missions to other villages. The Sound ninja is run by Orochimaru, one of the Sannin and one of our former great ninja, in which he believes that he is in it to get revenge.”

Yugito says, with a plain tone, “Orochimaru, huh? I’ve heard about him. He is a powerful ninja.”

Kazekage says, with a sly tone, “So, you have figured it all out, huh? But it is too late.”

Third Hokage says, with a sly smile, “Really, Kazekage-sama? We already knew you would attack during this match, so, we just didn’t know when and where you would attacks, but during the mouth, we had taken some ‘precautions’ including having Naruto learn the Five Elements Seal jutsu.”

Kazekage gives a look that says surprise on it, but he then says, in a sly tone, “So, you plan for Naruto to seal up Gaara’s yokai chakra from the One-Tail and make him useless. And you have already know that there was an invasion in the wings for a month. Let me guess: The Dragon Clan and his allies from the Mugen clan, one of whom is now part of the Leaf ninja forces, found out for you beforehand? Doesn’t matter to me.”

Third Hokage tells Kazekage, “Kazekage-sama, there are better ways to end this dispute than fighting. We can have a meeting with your land’s ruler and our land’s ruler in order work out an agreement for your ills.”

Kazekage tells him, “I guess that the fear of death becomes stronger with old age, eh… Sarutobi-sensei?”

Third Hokage’s eyes widen and he says, shocked, “You… You are not the Kazekage!”

Raikage calls out, perplexed, “What?!”

Third Hokage says, with a glare, “You’re… Orochimaru!” The ‘Kazekage’ then rips off his ‘face’ and reveals none other than Orochimaru’s face much to the surprise of the Raikage, his brother, and Yugito!

Back in the arena, Sasuke asks, perplexed, “What’s going on here?”

Just then Naruto appears and he says, seriously, “Hey, teme, get out of the way!”

Sasuke tells Naruto, a bit annoyed, “What do you think that you are doing Dobe?”

Naruto says, with a foxy smirk, “Sorry, Sasuke, but Hayabusa-sensei told me to take care of Gaara personally! You can have your match later!”

Baki, Kankuro, and Temari appear and Baki says, with a plain tone, “I don’t think so, brat.” But then Kasumi appears in a swirl of a cherry blossom and knocks both Kankuro and Temari for a loop while Baku barely avoids an attack from Ninja Ryu.

Ninja Ryu says, seriously, “Naruto, now!”

Naruto says, with a nod, “Right, Hayabusa-sensei!” Naruto’s right hand then glows with his chakra in which the Japanese Kenji for the elements in which Naruto takes the time to rush straight at Gaara, who is still in shock from Sasuke’s Chordi injuring him.

“Five Elements Seal!”

Naruto then slams his fingers into Gaara’s waist and he yelps out as the seal goes into him causing him to be cut off from the One-Tail’s chakra knocking him out cold too.

Temari yells out, stunned, “Gaara!”

Kankuro asks, shocked, “What did that brat do to him?”

Baki says, with a snort, “That jutsu makes Gaara unable to access the Shukaku unless we find someone that can undo the jutsu!” Temari and Kankuro gasp in shock and Naruto takes a deep breath.

Naruto says, with a smile, “Wow, this is a pretty cool jutsu.”

In the stands, Kakashi thinks in his mind, as he battles Sound ninja, “So, Jiraiya-sama taught him a sealing jutsu. I guess that he has a bit of his father, the Fourth Hokage, in him after all. I managed to get Naruto to learning storage sealing and Jiraiya-sama and Hayabusa-sama must have used that to help him learn sealing jutsu through sealing jutsu is more complex than storage seals.”

Ninja Ryu tells Naruto, “It looks like that you had a bit of your father in you after all. He was a sealing jutsu expert like Jiraiya-sama.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Guess it runs in the family, Hayabusa-sensei! Believe it!” Naruto asks, curiously, “But what’s going on here?”

Sasuke says, with a serious tone, “That’s what I want to know, Dobe.”

Kasumi says, with a plain tone, “The Sand and Sound villages are finally making their move and invading the Leaf Village.”

Naruto yells out, stunned, “What, Kasumi-sensei?! An invasion?!”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “That’s right, Naruto. That’s why Gaara was here taking the Chunin Exams in the first place. He was the ‘ace in the hole’ to attack and destroy the Leaf Village. There is one of Orochimaru’s massive snake summons that have busted through the main wall of the Leaf Village and attacking the inside with Sound and Sand ninja pouring in, but I managed to get an idea of the invasion. We have been planning this day for nearly a month and we figured that they would attack during Sasuke’s and Gaara’s match.”

Kankuro thinks in his mind, upon hearing this, “No wonder that more Leaf ANBU appeared, they have been preparing for our invasion! They didn’t know the details, but they knew that an invasion was coming! How come we didn’t find out about this before?!”

Sasuke asks, seriously and a bit annoyed, “How come we never heard of it?”

Kasumi says, with a plain tone, “Your Hokage only gave this information to people like your sensei and other high-ranking and trustworthy ninja in the village. We weren’t sure about the Raikage and Cloud, so, we didn’t tell them. As for you, you are not high-level ninja.”

Back on the roof of the Kage stands, Orochimaru tells Third Hokage, “You might have had an idea about our invasion, but you didn’t have the details, so, it doesn’t matter what plan you come up with.”

Third Hokage tells Orochimaru, “Really, Orochimaru? I know you better than you think and that means that I’m not going to die so easily.”

Orochimaru tells Third Hokage, with a sinister smile, “It doesn’t matter that you know, Third Hokage. Even if you defeat the invasion, here and now, you are going to die.” Orochimaru thinks in his mind, “Even if the Fourth Hokage’s brat manages to seal Gaara’s yokai power from him, I have another ace up my sleeve and the Signers shall be the unwilling instruments of the Leaf Village’s doom!”

(A short time afterwards; Just outside of the stadium)

Right now, we find the Fudo twins and our Digidestined being escorted by Haku where the Leaf ninja guards at the door were waiting for them.

One of them asks, stunned, “Haku-san, there has been an explosion at the village wall! Has the attack begun?”

Haku replies, with a nod, “It has! There are agents of the Sound and Sand village in the room, but we have additional ANBU ready and Hayabusa-sama and Kasumi-sama have joined in the battle.”

The other senses something and he yells out, “Get down!” Everyone ducks as a couple of kunai fly over them in which everyone sees two Sound ninja in front of them.

Haku says, with a plain tone, “Must be part of the advanced team.”

One Sound ninja yells out, “Hand over the three Signers and you will live!”

The first Leaf guard yells out, strongly, “Over my dead body, Sound scum! You will not get the honored Signers as long as one Leaf ninja fights!”

The other Sound ninja says, getting a kunai out, “It is your funeral!” However, Haku attacks them with senbon needles which they manage to dodge and deflect, but Haku sees an opening and goes for it in which Ice ninja takes them out with senbon to pressure point to the neck.

The second Leaf ninja guard says, with a plain tone, “Nice work, Haku-san.”

Haku says, with a nod, “It is nothing. It is my sworn duty to protect the Signers with my life.” But then massive explosion hit nearby and destroy some nearby structures in which they see a Tyrant Dragon (2900/2450) and Serpent Night Dragon (2350/2400) come out of the smoke in which they unleash attacks which Haku and the two Leaf ninja barely dodge causing powerful explosions.

Matt yells out, “Those attacks… they’re not holograms!”

Ryu says, with a serious tone, “They’re real!”

Ayane says, preparing her duel disk, “Allow me to take care of this!” But then some kind of energy whips appears and grabs Ayane’s right hand in which she yells out as she is dragged into the air.

Ryu yells out, shocked, “Ayane!” Ayane is then thrown into some kind of container by a tall male with flowing red hair, dark red eyes with spirals like the Al Bhed from Final Fantasy X, and wearing a dark blue muscle shirt under a black jacket, tight fitting black jeans, and brown ankle high cowboy style boots.

Davis asks, seriously, “Who are you?!”

The person replies, “You can just call me Hermit, Signer.”

Ryu asks, seriously, “What do you want?”

Hermit replies, “I’m a dueling rogue that’s allied with Orochimaru and I’m here to capture you, Ryu Fudo, along with Daisuke Motomiya. I have your sister and if you try to tamper with this cage, she will get hit with a special poison that won’t kill her, but her mind will be trapped within herself for all time! She’ll live, but she will be a vegetable all her life! If you wish to save her, you will fight me in a Turbo Duel. Win, she goes free. Lose and I get the two of you! If you refuse… you’ll get the idea.”

Davis says, with an angered tone, “You want a duel! Fine! I can use a Duel Board as good as anyone!”

Ryu says, with a plain tone, “Bad news is that both of mine and Ayane’s Duel Boards are in special storage scrolls that Hayabusa-sensei made for us and they are with Ayane.”

Davis says, nervously, “That’s not good.”

Hermit says, with a grin, “And if you can’t Turbo Duel, it is an automatic forfeit because I demanded a Turbo Duel.”

Ryu says, taking out some kind of remote, “You want a Turbo Duel?! I’ve still got one thing going for me!” Ryu then pushes some buttons on the remote and out from nearby bushes, his dad’s Duel Runner, Yusei Go, comes out and parks near Ryu.

Izzy says, amazed, “Prodigious! Isn’t that your dad’s Duel Runner? You must have put some kind of remote control.”

Ryu says, with a nod, “I put in a special remote control system into it. I also modified it that someone of my age could reach down to the controls and pedals as well as control it.”

Davis says, seriously, “But dude, you don’t know how to ride a Runner!”

Ryu replies, “My dad taught me. He built a special two-seat Duel Runner for practicing and a special Duel Runner simulator which my sister and I have tons of training on. We really wanted to learn to Turbo Duel on Duel Runners and my mom was overprotective in which dad made a special two-seater that allowed the driver to control it, but the person the back-seat, like my dad, to reach over and take over if need be. I’ve had tons of practice with my family watching over my sister and I while we practice and my parents said that my sis and I inherited my dad’s ‘talent’ for Runners, riding them anyway.” Ryu then pushes some buttons and his dad’s Runner adjusts in ways to allow him to reach the controls and the pedals in which he puts on his dad’s helmet, modified of his head size, and prepares to activate the Duel Runner.

Hermit says, with a grin, “Clever, kid, but let’s see how you take on duels that your father had to fight for his life and the life of others for.” Hermit then creates some kind of track made of light that runs into the sky above the Leaf Village stadium and the center of the village. He then gets on a Duel Runners that looks similar to Team Ragnarock Duel Runner, but it is much darker with dark dragon-like wings on the sides of the Runner.

Tai asks, perplexed, “How did he do that?”

Izzy replies, in a rare confused tone, “For a rare time in my life, Tai, I don’t have the answer!” Ryu inserts his Turbo Deck into his ‘gantlet’ as he gets into seat and drives to Hermit’s left side in which both of them activate the Speed World 2 Field Spells switching the Duel Runners into Duel Mode causing their decks to be shuffled and displays to appear on their screens in which both duelists’ life-points counters start at 4000 and their Speed Counters start at zero.

“Let’s ride!” Ryu and Hermit then zoom off into the track that Hermit somehow created before Haku and the Leaf ninja could stop them.

The two of them race around in which Hermit takes the first corner and he yells out, drawing a card, “Since I have taken the first corner, I think that I’ll go first!” Hermit says, putting one card on his duel disk part of his Runner, “I play my Machine King Prototype in attack mode!” Immediately, Machine King Prototype (1600/1500-1700/1600) appears on the field in attack mode and he says, with a smile, “And his attack and defense points go up for every machine monster on the field including itself!” Hermit says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with a couple of face-downs!”

Ryu says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn now!” After both duelists speed counters go up by one, Ryu says, discarding his Quillbolt Hedgehog (800/800) monster card, “By discarding one monster, I can play my Quickdraw Synchron in attack mode!” Ryu puts a card on his duel disk and Quickdraw Synchron (700/1400) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, with a serious tone, “And since there is a Tuner on the field, I can bring back the Quillbolt that I just put in my graveyard!” Immediately, Quillbolt Hedgehog (800/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Tuningware as well, pal!” Just then Tuningware (100/300) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu calls out, strongly, “And then I tune my Quickdraw with my Hedgehog and Tuningware and Synchro Summon Road Warrior!” Quickdraw turns into five stars that turn into five rings that surround the other two monsters, making them become transparent, and when a column of light appears on the field, Ryu takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra deck and yells out, putting it on his duel disk, “Let’s rev it, Road Warrior!” Out of the light, Road Warrior (3000/1500) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu then says, drawing a card, “And due to my Tuningware’s ability, I get one card since I used it for a successful Synchro Summon!” Ryu says, as a card comes out of his deck, “And I play Road Warrior’s ability and play one level two or below Warrior or Machine monster from my deck and I choose my Speed Warrior!” Ryu puts the card on his duel disk and Speed Warrior (900/400) appears on the field. Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I release my Speed Warrior in order to special summon my Turret Warrior!” Speed Warrior vanishes and Turret Warrior (1200/2000-2100/2000) in which Ryu says, with a plain tone, “I can play it this way when I release a warrior type monster and my Turret Warrior gains attack points equal to the released monster! Since my Speed Warrior had nine hundred attack points, my Turret Warrior gains nine hundred points!”

Hermit tells Ryu, with a smile, “Not bad, kid. You are really Yusei Fudo’s kid aren’t you?”

Ryu says, with a serious tone, “And you are going to find out! Road Warrior, attack his Machine King!” Road Warrior rushes forward to attack Machine King Prototype.

Hermit yells out, pushing a button on his Runner, “I activate my Twin Vortex trap card!” Hermit’s vortex is revealed to be the Twin Vortex trap card and Hermit says, with a grin, “With this card, when you attack, I can destroy one of my monster and one of your monsters! So, your Road Warrior and my Machine King has got to go!” Both monsters are both destroyed by powerful energy vortex.

Ryu says, with a serious tone, “But my Turret Warrior can attack you directly!” Turret Warrior fires on Hermit, who has no monster to defense himself.

Hermit says, pushing another button on his runner, “I activate my Defense Draw trap card!” Hermit’s next face-down card is revealed to be Defense Draw trap card and Hermit says, with a grin, “As you know, this card negates all damage from this attack and gives me a new card!” A shield protects Hermit from Turret Warrior’s attack and he draws a card.

Ryu says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “I place these cards face-down and end my turn!”

Hermit says, drawing a card, “It’s my move, boy!” Both duelists’ speed counters go up by one and he says, putting one card on the duel disk part of his Runner, “I play one monster face-down!” Hermit says, putting two cards into the spell/trap slots, “And I end my turn with two cards face-down!”

Ryu says, drawing a card, “It’s my move!” Soon after, both duelists’ speed counters go up by one and Ryu says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I play Junk Synchron in attack mode!” Soon enough, Junk Synchron (1300/500) appears on the field in attack mode. Ryu says, seriously, “And now, Junk Synchron can bring back one level two or below monster from my grave and I choose Speed Warrior!” Immediately, Speed Warrior (900/400) returns to the field in defense mode. Ryu yells out, “And now, it is time for me for Junk Synchro to give Turret Warrior a major tune up!” Junk Synchron pulls the cord on its back, turning into three stars that turn into three rings, and surround Turret Warrior making it become transparent. As a column of light appears on the field, Ryu takes a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck and chants out, “Clustering hopes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” When Ryu puts the card on his Runner’s duel disk, he yells out, “Let’s rev it up, Stardust Dragon!” Out of the light, Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) appears on the field in attack mode.

Just then Ryu’s, Ayane’s, and Davis’ ‘Mark of the Dragon’ start glow and Davis says, “Here we go!”

(On the meanwhile; Inside of the stadium)

Returning to the battle inside of the stadium, we find those awake inside looking up to see the Turbo Duel with the arena in the sky.

On the roof of the Kage stands, Third Hokage asks Orochimaru, “What is this Orochimaru?”

Orochimaru says, with a grin, “My second ace in the hole, Old Man. You managed to have Minato’s brat take care of Gaara, but my new ally has a power just as destructive as a Tailed Beast!”

There are plenty of gasps and Raikage says, with a sneer, “You are speaking nonsense snake!”

Orochimaru says, with a sinister smile, “Really? Just watch, Raikage! Because the Signers are going to be unwitting partners in the destruction of the Leaf Village!”

Third Hokage tells Orochimaru, “They will never help you!”

Orochimaru says, with a grin, “Not of their own free will… I know, but their dragons are another story!”

Third Hokage asks, perplexed, “Their dragons?!”

Back down in the arena, we find Ninja Ryu, Kasumi, and Naruto looking up in the sky and Naruto asks, stunned, “Is that Stardust Dragon?”

Ninja Ryu says, with a nod, “It is. Ryu is dealing someone with some kind of strong mystical based power and I have a bad feeling about this. If he can create some a ‘dueling arena’, who knows what else he can do? I fear for his safety.”

Naruto says, looking at his ‘Mark of the Dragon’, “I’ve got to go help him!”

Kasumi tells Naruto, “Naruto-dono, there is nothing that you can do.”

Naruto says, with a grin, “Yeah, there is! Maybe sure that snake doesn’t try anything! Something tells me that he is behind this and I’m going to stop him!” Naruto then leaps away towards as Genma goes to Kasumi’s and Ninja Ryu’s sides.

Genma says, with a smirk, “He is just like his mother. I’ve heard a lot about Kushina Uzumaki.”

Sasuke asks, seriously, “So now why?”

Genma tells Sasuke, “You are a Leaf ninja, aren’t you Uchiha? You have enemies all around you. Plenty of targets to test your power against.”

Sasuke’s lips curl into a smirk and he says, plainly, “Fine.” Sasuke then leaps off, but Shino appears with the group.

Shino tells Genma, “Excuse me, proctor, I know that this is a real battle, but I wish to have the puppet user to myself.”

Genma asks Shino, “Still sore that you didn’t get your match?”

Shino replies, plainly, “I merely wish to see what would have happened if we fought.”

Genma says, with a shrug, “Fine, kid.”

Baki growls and he thinks, looking at Gaara, “The little fool! Gaara is no useless to us! Due that seal, he can’t use Shukaku’s power! By allowing himself to get injured like that, he made himself vulnerable to Namikaze’s attack!”

Soon enough, Naruto reaches the Kage stand and he yells out, “Old Man!”

One of the ANBU tells Naruto, “Namikaze-sama, stay back! There is a powerful barrier ninjutsu! We already lost one of ours to it!”

Orochimaru says, with a smile, “Your successor’s only son and your surrogate grandson, Sarutobi-sensei. How nice for him to be here at the end of your life!”

Naruto yells out, strongly, “What do you think that you are doing you snake?!”

Orochimaru says, with a grin, “Simple boy. I’m setting things in motion. Having the same old peace and same old times is just so… boring to me. So, I plan to set things in motion by destroying the Leaf Village!”

Third Hokage says, with a smirk, “You really haven’t changed, have you? Well, don’t think that you are going to win here.”

Orochimaru says, with a grin, “I said that you should watch and oh, Naruto, you should too because your fellow Signer is about to become an unwilling pawn to the destruction of the Leaf.”

Naruto asks, with a snarl, “What are you talking about?”

Orochimaru says, pointing to the duel, “Just watch.” Everyone then looks up while the others just outside of the stadium as also watching it and the scores through Izzy’s computer managing to get the duel on his laptop’s screen through satellites in the sky.

Back to the duel, Ryu pushes a button on his Runner and he yells out, “I activate my Meteor Wave trap card!” Ryu’s face-down card is revealed to be the Meteor Wave trap card and Ryu says, with a serious tone, “Until the end of the turn, Stardust Dragon gains three hundred attacks points and if his attack points are greater than your defending monster’s defense points, you take damage due to the difference! Stardust Dragon, attack with Cosmic Flare!” Stardust Dragon unleashes a blast at Hermit’s face-down, but then Hermit’s face-down monster is revealed to be the Wise Core (0/0) monster card in which Ryu yells out, shocked, “No way! It can’t be!”

Hermit says, with a grin, “That’s right, Ryu! It’s Wise Core! And I plan his ability! Once per turn, it can’t be destroyed in battle!”

The attack slams into Wise Core and Ryu says, seriously, “But you still take the damage!”

Hermit says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Not with my Hallowed Life Barrier trap card!” Hermit’s face-down card is revealed the Hallowed Life Barrier trap and Hermit says, with a grin while discarding a card, “By discarding a card from my hand, I take no damage this turn!”

Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn.” As Stardust Dragon’s stats return back to 2500/2000, Ryu thinks in his mind, “How does he have that card?! If he does, then he… he may have those cards! I need to work fast! I don’t have anything to protect Stardust from that on my field!”

Hermit says, drawing a card, “It’s my turn!” Soon after, Ryu’s and Hermit’s speed counters go up by one and Hermit yells out, pushing a button on his duel disk, “I activate my trap: Recycle Draw!” Hermit’s face-down card is revealed to be a trap card with a picture of parts from machine monsters going into a machine with cards coming out and Hermit says, with a grin, “Now, I destroy one level six or below machine and I get one card for every level it has! And I choose my Wise Core!” Just then Wise Core shatters as it is destroyed in which he draws a card, but then five new cards come out of his deck in which he yells out, “And now, since Wise Core was destroyed by a card effect, I can summon these monsters! Machine Emperor Wisel! Wisel Top! Wisel Guard! Wisel Attack! And Wisel Carrier!” Soon after, he puts the card on the duel disk part of his Runner and Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity (0/0), Wisel Top (500/0), Wisel Guard (0/1200), Wisel Attack (1200/0), and Wisel Carrier (800/600) appear on the field in which Infinity, Top, Attack, and Carrier are in attack with Guard in defense mode. Soon after, all five parts combine into the true monstrous form of Machine Emperor Wisel in which the center of the creature, Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity’s stats go up from 0/0 to 2500/0!

Ryu yells out, flabbergasted, “How can this be? When my dad, mom, and our family changed the future, those cards were destroyed!”

Hermit says, with a sinister smile, “They are not as destroyed as you think! And now, I play his ability! Once per turn, Wisel can absorb one Synchro Monster on your field!”

Back with the Digidestined, TK asks, stunned, “Did he say ‘absorb Synchro Monsters’?!”

Ken says, with a serious tone, “I heard about them from WRGP tournament over a decade ago! They’re ‘Synchro Killer’ cards!” Soon after, Wisel unleashes energy tentacles that latch onto Stardust Dragon and Wisel absorbs Stardust Dragon into itself.

Ryu yells out, shocked, “Stardust Dragon!” Soon after, Wisel’s stats go up from 2500/0 to 5000/0!

Back in the arena, Naruto yells out, shocked, “No way! That freaky monster just sucked up Stardust Dragon like ramen!”

Orochimaru laughs and he yells out, excitedly, “Now, do you understand?! He has taken the power of that dragon and turned against his Signer partner! And that power shall destroy the Leaf! Just watch!”

Returning to the Turbo Duel, Hermit says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my Speed Spell-Power Spear! Since I have four spell counters, when my monster attacks, you take the difference between its attack points and your monster’s defense!” Hermit yells out, “Wisel, destroy Yusei Fudo’s brat with the power of his daddy’s dragon!” Wisel Attack becomes surrounded in an aura that’s becomes like Stardust Dragon’s attack and he heads straight for Speed Warrior.

Ryu says, pushing a button on his Runner, “I activate my trap: Ground Capture!” Ryu’s face-down card is revealed to be the Ground Capture trap card and as Wisel cut through Speed Warrior, a large hand made of earth grabs it and Ryu says, with a serious tone, “This trap card cuts my Battle Damage right in half!”

Hermit says, with a wicked smile, “But you are still going to take it, fool!” The hand bursts into pieces and Ryu yells out in pain as he is hit hard by the pieces cutting his clothing, his skin, and even damaging his Duel Runner and helmet while he loses 2300 life-points.

Ayane yells out, horrified, “Ryu!”

Ryu says, groaning in pain while drawing a card, “This card also allows me to draw one more card since I took five hundred or more points of damage from your attack!”

Hermit says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “I end my turn with a face-down.”

Hermit says, with a grin, “Do you really think that you can win, boy? You are nothing like your daddy and only he knew the way to defeat this creature, but even if you had the way to beat it, your Stardust Dragon is now mine and with it, this village shall die!” Just then storm clouds form out of seemly nowhere and everyone is wondering what’s happening.

Ryu asks, seriously, “What are you planning?!” Ryu then got his answer as lightning starts to rain down vaporizing homes and building in the village in which a massive hurricane winds form with the stadium in the center in which causes chaos all over the village in which more lightning clashes at the Hokage mountain monument where the faces of the four Kage of the Leaf Village including the Third Hokage and Naruto’s dad are craved.

Third Hokage thinks in his mind, horrified, “The villagers?!”

Orochimaru says, with a smile, “You see, sensei, Hermit has made this duel real and with the power that he has taken from the Signer, the Leaf Village shall die and all you can do is watch!”

Third Hokage says, seriously, “I think not!” Third Hokage then leaps out of Orochimaru’s grasp leaving his robes and revealing him in black ninja armor mixed ninja clothing fishing net mesh. Orochimaru discards the Kazekage robes revealing him in similar clothing to those forming the barrier jutsu.

Orochimaru says, with a grin, “Come prepared to die, huh? Allow me to help you with that!”

Back to the duel, Ryu thinks in his mind, “What can I do? There is only one monster in my deck that can stop a ‘Synchro Killer’, but Stardust Dragon is gone and it takes ‘Clear Mind’ to perform an Accel Synchro. What if I can’t do it? This village… its people…”

Just then a voice calls out into Ryu’s mind, “Is this all that the son of the great Yusei Fudo can do? Is this as far as you can go? Tell me, boy! Do you let a tragedy that cost your father his mother and father… Cost Jack Atlas and Crow Hogan their parents… destroyed multiple lives… happen again?” Just then Ryu is bombarded by images of the Zero Reserve tragedy that separated Neo Domino City from Satellite, killing Yusei’s parents in the process, and then Ryu’s own memories of his mom and dad with the day that his parents and family were murdered with their bodied bodies with the images of all of the people that he met including his new friends and fellow Signers.

Ryu’s right hand clenches and he thinks in his mind, his determination ablaze, “No, I won’t… I can’t let that happen ever again! I will not let anyone else suffer like my sister and I had to suffer! I will protect the innocent and all the people that I care, my sister, my new friends, and everyone, with all that I’ve got! Even if it takes my life, I will protect everyone and everything I hold dear!” Ryu yells out, strongly, “It’s my turn!” Ryu’s ‘Mark of the Dragon’ then starts to glow even brighter and Hermit is shocked as he senses something from Ryu. Ryu says, pushing a button on his Runner, “I play my Graceful Revival trap card!” Ryu’s next face-down is revealed to be the Graceful Revival continuous trap card and Ryu says, “I can revival a level two or below monster from my graveyard and I choose my Tuningware!” Just then Tuningware (100/300) returns to the field in attack mode and Ryu says, putting a card on his duel disk, “And now, I play my Flamvell Guard in attack mode!” Soon after, Flamvell Guard (100/2000) appears on the field in attack mode and Ryu yells out, “And now, I tune my Guard with my Tuningware!” Flamvell Guard turns into one star that turns into one ring that surrounds Tuningware making it become transparent! Soon after, a column of light appears as Ryu takes out a Synchro Monster card from his Extra Deck and he chants out, “Clustering wishes will call out a new speed's horizon! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!” When Ryu puts the Synchro Monster card on his duel disk, he yells out, “Let’s rev it, Formula Synchron!” Out of the light, Formula Synchron (200/1500) appears on the field in defense mode. Ryu says, drawing two cards, “And now, my Tuningware gives me another card and Formula Synchron gives me an extra card as well!” Ryu says, putting one card into the spell/trap slots, “And now, I end my turn!”

Hermit says, with a wide grin, “Is that all? You can’t do a thing with that monster, kid!”

Ryu replies, with a glare, “Want to bet? As long as all that I care is about in danger, I can do things beyond your imagination!”

Hermit says, drawing a card, “Okay, let’s end this the hard way!” As Ryu’s and Hermit’s speed counters go up by one, Hermit yells out, pushing a button on his duel disk, “Now, I activate my Wise A3 trap card!” Hermit’s face-down card is revealed to be Wise A3 trap card and he says, putting a card on his disk duel, “I get rid of Wisel Attack to play Wisel Attack Three in attack mode!” Wisel Attack vanishes from the field and Wisel Attack 3 (1600/0), a more powerful and sinister machine arm, appears on the field in attack mode and attaches to Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity causing its stats to go up from 5000/0 to 5400/0! Hermit says, with a grin, “And with this card, I can inflict piercing damage to you, little Fudo!”

Ryu says, pushing a button on his duel disk, “You can try because I play my Synchro Material trap card!” Ryu’s face-down card is revealed to be the Synchro Material trap card and he yells out, “With this card, I can Synchro Summon using monsters from both our field including your captured ones! So, come on back Stardust Dragon!” Just then Stardust Dragon (2500/2000) comes out of Machine Emperor Wisel causing its stats to go down from 5400/0 to 2900/0! Ryu then pushes the accelerator and as a red field of energy surrounds him, his dad’s Duel Runner speeds up in which his ‘Mark of the Dragon’ blazes with light. Ryu closes his eyes and he thinks, “Ayane… everyone… I need your strength!” Soon enough, Davis’, Ayane’s, Hinata’s, and Naruto’s ‘Mark of the Dragon’ in which they look up.

Kiba, with Hinata, asks, “What’s going on Hinata?”

Hinata replies, a bit perplexed, “I don’t know, Kiba-san. But I feel… like Ryu-san needs my support. He is asking strength from all of the Signers.”

Naruto thinks in his mind, “If you need support pal, I’m right here.”

Ayane, trapped in her prison, thinks in her mind, strongly, “I’m right here for you, bro! We all are!” Ryu, through his ‘Mark of the Dragon’, gains the image of his fellow Signers, his new friends, and all the people that he met as well as his mom and dad, Akiza and Yusei, in which Yusei’s image grabs the same accelerator that his son is in which his mind clears hearing a drip in his mind.

Ryu’s eyes shoot open and he thinks, “That’s it! Clear Mind!” Ryu yells out, “I tune my level two Synchro Tuner, Formula Synchro, with my Synchro Monster, Stardust Dragon!” Formula Synchro then turns into two stars that turn into massive rings that surround both Stardust Dragon and Ryu in his dad’s Duel Runner causing its speed to increase dramatically.

Hermit yells out, stunned, “No way! Synchro Summoning on your opponent’s turn!” Hermit thinks in his mind, horrified, “Unless…”

Ryu calls out, “Clustering crystal dreams open the door to a new evolution! Become the path its light shines upon!” As his Duel Runner speeds up greatly, Ryu yells out, “Accel Synchro!” He then takes what seems like a blank Synchro Monster that turns into something before he, Yusei’s Duel Runner, and Stardust Dragon vanish in a burst of speed.

Hermit says, stunned, “He vanished?!” But then a bright light appears behind and Ryu, in Yusei Go, the name of Yusei’s Duel Runner, bursts out with a new monster.

Ryu yells out, strongly, “Let’s rev it up… Shooting Star Dragon!” The new monsters cuts through the storm clouds before creating a burst of light that causing them to disperse revealing the monster to be the Accel Synchro Monster, Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500), in attack mode.

The light shining down on the whole of the Leaf Village causes, at least for the moment to stop, causing those at the battle lines at the edge of the village including Jiraiya, Momiji, and Ninja Ayane to look up at that direction in which Momiji asks, confused, “What is that light?”

Back with Orochimaru, the two Kages, and two other Jinchuriki, Killer Bee yells out, “Whoa, what’s the freaky light show?!”

Orochimaru says, stunned, “It can’t be…”

Third Hokage thinks in his mind, with a smile, “But it can!”

Hermit asks, stunned, “What is this?!”

Ryu says, with a smile on his face, “This is my dad’s ultimate ace monster, Hermit! The Accel Synchro Monster, Shooting Star Dragon!”

With the Digidestined, Yolei asks, stunned, “ACCEL Synchro Monster?!”

Davis says, with a grin, “Awesome, Ryu!”

Tai says, awe-struck, “Now that’s a dragon!”

Ayane thinks in her mind, with a warm smile, “Way to go, bro!”

Ryu tells Hermit, “My parents may be gone, but their legacy still lives inside of my sister, my new friends, and I, Hermit! Their spirits will always watch me and I will never give up until the very end! I will protect everyone from evil like you and Orochimaru as long as I have cards in my deck and breath in my body! Now, it’s time to end this!” Ryu calls out, “Let’s go, Shooting Star Dragon!”

Hermit yells out, annoyed, “I activate Wisel’s ability!” Wisel unleashes energy whips that head for Shooting Star Dragon.

Ryu calls out, “I activate Shooting Star Dragon’s ability! Once per turn, I can remove it from play and once used, one of your attacks is negated!” Shooting Star Dragon vanishes and Wisel’s energy tentacles miss.

Hermit says, with a snarl, “I end my turn.”

Ryu calls out, “And Shooting Star Dragon returns to the field in attack mode!” Shooting Star Dragon (3300/2500) returns to the field in attack mode. Ryu then draws one card and he yells out, “It’s my turn, Hermit!” As Ryu’s and Hermit’s speed counters go up by one, Ryu yells out, “I activate Shooting Star Dragon’s ability! I draw the top five cards from my deck and for every Tuner monster that I draw, he can attack!” Ryu closes his eyes and he thinks, “Dad, I can feel you with me and the other Signers.” As an image of Yusei Fudo appears over Ryu and puts his hand over Ryu’s, Ryu opens his eyes and draws the top five cards in his deck in which he reveals Speed Spell-Final Attack, Hyper Synchron (1600/800), Turbo Synchron (100/500), Debris Dragon (1000/2000), and finally, Majestic Dragon (0/0) in which he yells out, “First draw, Speed Spell, Final Attack! Second draw, Tuner monster, Hyper Synchron! Third draw, Tuner monster, Turbo Synchron! Fourth draw, Tuner monster, Debris Dragon! And finally, fifth draw, Tuner monster, Majestic Dragon!” Just then the full Crimson Dragon mark appears on Ryu’s back and blazes with a powerful crimson light.

Hermit yells out, shocked, “Impossible! He managed to draw four Tuners at once!”

Ryu yells out, strongly, “Do it, Shooting Star Dragon! Attack with Stardust Mirage!” Shooting Star Dragon splits into four versions of itself and rushes towards the massive monster.

Hermit calls out, “I play Wisel Guard’s ability and redirect it to itself!” Shooting Star Dragon’s first attack is redirected to Wisel Guard, destroying, but Hermit doesn’t lose any life-points due it being in defense mode.

Ryu yells out, “But now, attack number two, Shooting Star Dragon attacks Wisel Top!” Shooting Star Dragon destroys Wisel Top in which Hermit yells out in extreme pain from the explosion as he loses 2800 life-points while Machine Emperor Wisel goes down from 2900/0 to 2400/0. Ryu yells out, “Attack number three! Shooting Star Dragon attacks Machine Emperor Wisel!” Shooting Star Dragon then smashes into Machine Emperor Wisel causing another explosion in which Hermit yells out in pain as he loses 900 more life-points. Ryu yells out, seriously, “And now, with Wisel Infinity, your other parts are also destroyed as well!” Soon after, Wisel Attack 3 and Wisel Guard explode as they are destroyed as well in which Ryu calls out, “And now, the final attack, Hermit! Shooting Star Dragon, direct attack with final Stardust Mirage!” Shooting Star Dragon then charges right in and Hermit yells out in extreme pain and agony as Shooting Star Dragon slams a powerful attack into him with incredible power.

Hermit shouts out, flabbergasted, “How can this be?! How can you be so powerful?!” Soon after, Hermit explodes revealing that he was a robot all along as he loses 3300 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

Davis asks, stunned, “He was a robot?!” On the meanwhile, Shooting Star Dragon, still on the field, heads right for the barrier surrounding Orochimaru and the two Kage with the two Cloud Jinchuriki and blazing with the light of the Crimson Dragon smashes the barrier into pieces in which all four Sound ninja cry out in pain as the energy backlash from this event causing them to fall to their knees.

Orochimaru yells out, flabbergasted, “Impossible! That creature destroyed my barrier!” On the meanwhile, Shooting Star Dragon, still glowing, sweeps over Ryu, Ayane, and our Digidestined as well as their Digimon partners in which causing them along with Haku to vanish into the light.

One of the ANBU nearby says, amazed, “Incredible.”

Another ANBU asks, perplexed, “Is this light the power of the Signers?”

Orochimaru calls out, stunned, “How did he do that?!”

Third Hokage says, with a grin, “It looks like you underestimated them, Orochimaru.”

Orochimaru growls at Third Hokage, but then a deep dark female voice calls out, “It isn’t too surprising! His ego always made him have a ‘big head’!”

Orochimaru calls out, angrily, “Who dares?!” Just then Naruto’s and Hinata’s ‘Mark of the Dragon’, which are still glowing, blaze with new ‘sensations’ in which Naruto winches in pain.

One ANBU asks, stunned, “Naruto-sama, what’s wrong?”

Naruto says, groaning, “My arm… It feels like it is on fire… telling me that something is wrong…” Just then a dark portal comes from seemly nowhere and out of the portal, the same figure that Kakashi saw earlier emerges from the portal.

When Kakashi sees the figure, he says, shocked, “Oh no! This is not good!”

Raikage yells out, strongly, “Who are you?!”

The figure then displays the Dark Signers’ Hummingbird Mark and the figure says, in the same dark female voice from earlier, “Silence, mortal! I’m a Dark Signer!”

Third Hokage yells out, shocked, “The Mark of the Hummingbird!”

Nibi tells Yugito, fearfully, “Kitten, stay back! She is the real deal! I sense it! The power of the Netherworld! The power of the Earthbound Immortals!”

Yugito gasps and Raikage asks Yugito, “What is it Yugito?”

Yugito says, seriously, “Nibi is sensing the power of the Netherworld, the source of the Dark Signers’ powers!”

There are tons of gasps and Killer Bee says, with a nod, “That’s what my homie, big eight, is telling me, bro, and this is no joke, yo!”

Third Hokage says, with a serious tone, “What are you doing here? If you are here to destroy the Signers, you will not take them! We will fight you and Orochimaru if we must!”

The Dark Signer tells them, “I am no friend of Orochimaru, but I’m no friend of yours, Old Man! I am here for one thing and one thing only… to destroy the Leaf myself! The village is mine to destroy and not Orochimaru’s!”

Orochimaru asks, with a sly smile, “Oh, really? I got here first!”

The Dark Signer tells Orochimaru, with a dark cold snarl, “Doesn’t matter to me, fool! If you wish to live, leave this village or die!”

Orochimaru yells out, annoyed, “You dare to speak to me in that fashion! I am Orochimaru! I am immortal!” Orochimaru takes out his special Grass Sword and charges at the Dark Signer, but the Dark Signer easily avoids the attack with ease and when Orochimaru turns to attack, she slams her fingers into his arms in which he yells out in pain as his arms become dark violet and black as well as limp while the Dark Signer leaps away! Orochimaru says, groaning in pain, “My arms… What have you done to my arms?!”

The Dark Signer replies, with a dark smile, “It is a special sealing jutsu infused with the power of the Netherworld! It completely destroys those arms and makes you even unable to regenerate them with your jutsu! They are completely useless to you now!”

Orochimaru replies, with a sinister snarl, “You shall pay for this!”

Just then four Sound ninja that put up the barrier surround him and one of them asks, stunned, “Orochimaru-sama, what happened?”

Orochimaru says, weakly, “We have failed. Retreat now!” Immediately, two of his ninja carry him while the other two provide escort.

One ANBU yells out, “He is getting away!”

Another ANBU, the leader of the group, tells his fellow ANBU, “That isn’t important right now! We have a new enemy!”

The Dark Signer turns towards the Third Hokage and says, with a dark sinister tone, “And now, Old Man, it is time for this village to pay. Pay for what its crimes.”

Third Hokage asks, stunned, “Crimes? What are you talking about?”

The Dark Signer yells out, angrily, “Don’t play innocent with me, you old bag of bones! The crime of betraying me and my beloved after all we did for this pathetic village! But maybe this shall help you get what I mean!” The Dark Signer then reaches into her hood, takes off a mask, and the Dark Signer tells Third Hokage, in a familiar female voice, “Do you remember me now, Old Man? You did give my beloved Minato-kun your position after you retired after all!”

Third Hokage gasps and he says, horrified, “No, it can’t be…” The Dark Signer lowers her hood and reveals to be none other than Kushina Uzumaki with black irises and the same dark markings as Carly’s head when she was a Dark Signer.

Naruto thinks in his mind, shocked as an image of picture of his mother appears in his mind, “No way! This can’t be! That’s… my mother!” On the meanwhile, Shooting Star Dragon appears in which Haku, the two Leaf ninja guarding the door to the stadium, the Fudo twins, and our Digidestined with their Digimon partners appear in which Shooting Star Dragon fades away soon after.

Ryu, Ayane, and Davis hold their arms with their ‘Mark of the Dragon’ in pain and Davis yelps out, “My arm really hurts! It feels like it is burning into my arm!”

Ayane says, looking at Kushina, “And that’s why! That woman is wearing Dark Signer robes and she has the Mark of the Hummingbird!”

Davis asks, seriously, “She is? What are we waiting for?!”

Naruto says, “Stop, Davis!”

Ryu asks Naruto, “What? Why?”

Naruto says, stunned, “That’s… That’s my mom.”

There are more gasps and Haku asks, shocked, “Your mom? You mean the legendary ‘Red Storm’, Kushina Uzumaki?!”

Kushina looks at Naruto and she says, with a smile, “It has been so long, my little boy. You have grown.”

Third Hokage asks, stunned and horrified, “Kushina… how did…?”

Kushina says, with a dark plain tone, “The Earthbound Immortals may have lost their rulers, but they were in no means finished. Due to the actions of those ‘beings’ from the alternate future that the original Signers prevented, the new seal put on them was weakened and when I died, I was the first one to be transformed into a Dark Signer. However, the special energy used to contained the Kyuubi and my resistance against the power caused me to be some kind of stasis for thirteen long years. I came back and I was greeted by my allies, the new Dark Signers.”

Third Hokage yells out, stunned, “New Dark Signers?”

Kushina says, with a dark glare and dark serious tone, “That’s right, you bag of bones! And they showed what this backstabbing village did to my boy! YEARS!!!” Kushina unleashes a powerful dark aura that’s felt throughout that whole of the Leaf Village and somehow causes everyone in the stadium still under the Genjutsu to wake up.

Gai asks, stunned, “What… What a horrible chakra…?”

Kakashi looks close and he thinks, horrified and shocked, “It cannot be… Kushina-sama?!”

Back at the battlefield, as Leaf forces battle with Sound and Sand ninja with aid from Jiraiya, Momiji, and Ninja Ayane, Jiraiya thinks in his mind, looking toward the stadium, “That’s chakra… what is that chakra?! It is like the Nine-Tailed Fox, but even more sinister, darker, and deadly! I’ve got to get over there!”

Returning to the arena, Third Hokage says, in a pleading tone, “Kushina, I tried…”

Kushina unleashes massive KI which causes even the Kage to breathe far more heavily and she yells out, with a dark enraged tone, “You tried nothing! And you shouldn’t have ‘tried’, you should have done something! You are the Hokage! Those assholes on the council are your advisors… assistants in maintaining the village at best, but you are the authority! You lead the village! And what happened to my boy is your fault along with the rest of these assholes! And they are going to pay! It pains my heart knowing that I’m my boy’s enemy as a Signer and I’m a Dark Signer, but I don’t care! I’m going to get my justice and justice for my boy! And it shall be paid… in your blood!” Kushina then rushes at Third Hokage, drawing a sword to kill him, and there is nothing that anyone can do about it because she is moving at incredible speed.

Naruto yells out, horrified, “Mom, no! Please stop!” At that moment, Kushina stops in her tracks, her sword that she took from her cloak pointing right at the neck of the elder Kage in which he gasps knowing that he is just milliseconds from death. Kushina then leaps away and looks at her child who has tears in her eyes in which she lower her head as she puts her blade away.

Kushina tells Third Hokage, with a dark deadly tone, “Be glad that my son kept your head on your neck even through I don’t know why, but he can’t protect you forever, you old crone! This village shall pay for its crimes against my boy and us, Hokage-sama! Before it is wiped off the face of the earth, its streets shall be filled with the blood of those that dared to turn its back to my Minato-kun and I and their spirits shall feed my Earthbound Immortal for all eternity!” Just then Kushina’s aura goes into the sky and transforms into Earthbound Immortal Allsa Piscu (2500/2500) with a mighty screech of power.

Raikage yells out, “What is that?”

Ryu says, shocked, “That’s… an Earthbound Immortal! It’s the Hummingbird Immortal, Allsa Piscu! Uncle Jack faced that one!”

Kushina tells Third Hokage, with a deadly glare, “Enjoy your last moment, you worthless bag of bones. You and this village are in its last days and you shall pay for all the crimes against my family.” Kushina then looks at Naruto, her expression soften, and she says, weakly with tears in her eyes, “Goodbye, my Naruto.” Soon after, a dark portal forms at her feet and she sinks inside of it.

Naruto yells out, shocked, “Mom, wait!” However, it is too late as Kushina sinks into the portal of darkness and vanishes inside leaving a shocked group of people in its wake.

Haku says, lowly and shocked, “How can this be? One of Naruto-sama’s enemies, the Dark Signers, is…”

Ayane says, horrified, “… His own mother.”

Kari says, shocked, “This is terrible.”

TK asks, stunned, “How can he fight his own mom?”

Matt replies, “I don’t know, TK. I really don’t know.” As Naruto falls to his knees, unable to believe what just happened, but unable to deny the truth. Soon enough, Jiraiya appears on the scene and he is surprised to see the scene before.

Jiraiya asks, confused, “What happened Old Man?”

Third Hokage is unable to say the words and Raikage says, with a plain tone, “The Namikaze found out that his own mom is his enemy. She has become one of those Dark Signers.”

Jiraiya yells out, flabbergasted, “What?!”

Third Hokage says, solemnly, “I’m afraid that it is true, Jiraiya. All of us saw it for ourselves.”

Jiraiya says, looking at Naruto, “Then that’s why…”

Third Hokage says, with a plain tone, “That’s right, Jiraiya. Give the boy awhile, Jiraiya. I think that he needs sometime.”

Jiraiya nods his head in agreement and he says, “I can understand, Old Man. But you had better tell me everything that happened.” Soon enough, as Jiraiya talked with the Third Hokage about the events in the stadium after he had left the Kage stand, Hinata and Kiba appear on the roof.

Hinata asks, worriedly, “Naruto-kun?”

Kiba asks, confused, “What happened here?”

Ryu replies, with a sigh, “It is a bit difficult to explain.”

Ayane tells Hinata, “We’ll explain, Hinata. But after we are done, he is going to need you like he is going to need all of us more than ever.” As the others prepare to explain what they saw, Naruto sheds tears from his eyes and gives out a scream of agony knowing now that one of his foes is the very person that brought him into this world…

Kakashi: Itachi Uchiha… what are you doing here?

Itachi: We are here for the legacy of the Fourth Hokage and for the warriors of the Crimson Dragon.

Sasuke (angrily): Itachi Uchiha… I’ve been waiting for this day. I’ve done what you asked and lived my life to destroy you!

Naruto (shocked): Sasuke!

Danzo: Kushina Uzumaki…

Kushina: You think that you can escape justice, Danzo? You tried to make my boy into your weapon, but today, your ambition along with your life shall end right here!

Ryu: Who are you?

Mysterious Figure: I was a friend of your mother and father, Ryu. My name is Bruno also known as Vizor. I helped your dad to gain the power of Accel Synchro. While the future that I came from has changed, a new terrible future is on the horizon and only the Signers can change destiny as your family did before you. But in order to do that, you need the powers of light and darkness and I know where to find the one who holds ‘Supreme King’, Jaden Yuki.

Leon (shocked): You know where my dad is?

Vizor: But you need to be ready for that journey and unless you can defeat me, you will not be ready. I challenge you to a duel!

I know that the Leaf Village Invasion is very short, but it is pretty much the same through there are some differences. The case is: While they knew that Sand and Sound were working the invasion and they knew one was coming when Sasuke and Gaara are going to fight, but they didn’t know the details of the plans even through they had theories. And Naruto learning to use a sealing jutsu while also learning other jutsu, you need to remember that he used his Shadow Clones like he did for his Rasen-Shuriken training in the anime/manga, so, it sped up his training a lot and he is the most unpredictable ninja, so, surprises are his ‘specialty’ you can, folks. Now, how many of you thought that Dark Signer would Naruto’s mother? Anyway, things are going to get complicated and the start for search for Jaden Yuki is also going to begin through it will be slow at first since Land of Snow arc and Sasuke Retrieval Arc are going to play important roles in the future.
