Just before we went to the break, he almost got us into trouble with Pearl and Mike for calling her fat and ugly. Luckily though, we reminded them that it was Davis that did it, and they forgave us because he's a moron.

DAVIS: HEY!

BRIAN: Anyway, Robster80, the author of the fic, is promising a big fight at the prom and we're watching people actually betting on the out come at Las Vegas's Cesar's Palace.

CROW: The odds of TK kicking his brother's butt are 3 to 1.

TOM: The odds of Mimi hitting Kari so hard that Gatomon will feel it are 2 to 1.

BRIAN: Those are some good odds.

MAGGIE: The odds of them becoming friends again are 25 to 1.

BRIAN: Who'd be dumb enough to bet that?

DAVIS: Hey guys. I just placed a $100 bet.

BRIAN: That answers my question.

DAVIS: What are the chances of Kari and me dancing?

BRIAN: I don't even need to look because I know it's a million to one.

CROW: Hey Brian, how much should I tell them to put you down for TK knocking Matt on his butt?

BRIAN: Put me down for…

(Lights go off)

ALL: FANFIC SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGNNNNNNNN!

MAGGIE: What in that little world of yours makes you think that Kari is going with you to the prom?

DAVIS: Because she loves me.

TOM (Sarcastic): Oh yeah, dating TK just proves that.

After shopping for clothes for the prom and a romantic date at the movies, they came up to TK's apartment only to face Matt and Kari...

DAVIS: GET AWAY FROM MY KARI YOU BLOND HAIR FREAK!

ALL: SHE'S NOT YOUR KARI!

TK glared at Matt and Kari while he still held Mimi.

MAGGIE: For he was glued to her.

"What the hell are you two doing in my apartment?"

CROW (Matt): Mom let me in, duh.

Matt crossed his arms. "Kari and I saw you two enter the Movie Theater together and came here

CROW: In front of his mom?

BRIAN: CROW!

MAGGIE (Mimi): Well, lets see, what comes after 1?

Kari nodded in agreement. "Yes, TK. How long?"

CROW (Kari): Is it?

Mimi looked at Kari coldly.

TOM (Kari): Brrrrr. It just got colder all of a sudden.

"Not as long as you've been kissing 'Elvis' over there

BRIAN: That was a negative remark towards Matt.

DAVIS: Oh.

"Indeed," Mimi agreed. "Their crests should be Deceit and Darkness, not

Kari was about to pounce on Mimi when Mrs. Takaishi

MAGGIE (Mrs. Takaishi): BOYS! If you must kill each other, take it out side.

"That's enough! TK, let go of Matt right now!"

CROW (TK): I would, except my hands are magnetized to him.

TK did so, but he glared at his older brother as he did. Matt was smiling,

DAVIS (Matt): HA-HA!

BRIAN: Into the sunset.

when TK's mother then said, "Matt, you and Kari should leave, and give me your key!"

TOM (TK): Nener-nener-nener!

He looked at her in shock as she continued, "Until you and TK resolve this peacefully, I don't want you here while I'm away.

MAGGIE: You better plan for a loooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnng trip then.

And Kari, as far as I'm concerned, you're no longer welcome in my home."

ALL (But DAVIS, singing): Nah-nah-nah-nah. Nah-nah-nah-nah. Hey, heeeeeeeeeyyyyyy, goooooooooood byyyyyyyyyyyye!

DAVIS: YOU UGLY B…

MAGGIE: FINISH, YOU DIE!

DAVIS: ACK!

Matt grumbled as he gave away his key,

BRIAN: Why? He could have sold it for 2 bucks.

then took Kari by her arm and said, "C'mon, babe! Let's get outta here."

ALL (Singing): And I'm outta here, 'cause I'm no where near, what you want, what you want, what you're looking for!

They walked away, unaware of Mimi and TK glaring at their backs.

CROW (Mimi): I've never noticed before, but Kari has a nice…

BRIAN: NOT ONE WORD BEYOND THAT POINT!

Mrs. Takaishi looked at TK and said, "TK, I want you to stay away from them. At

least until your father and I have a talk with Matt.

BRIAN (Mrs. Takaishi): Which will be a decade, seeing that I had a very bitter divorce with him.

BOTS: FANBOY! FANBOY! FANBOY!

You can still go with Mimi to the Prom, but keep away from Matt and Kari."

CROW (TK): I'll try mom, but Kari's got big…

BRIAN: NOT A WORD!

TK nodded. "I just hope they stay away from us."

TOM: Don't hold your breath

BRIAN: Hollywood's Walk-A-Fame, it is not.

On Monday, people could tell that there was some anger between Matt and TK

TOM (Sarcastic): No!

as they traded glares all day,

BRIAN (TK): Trade your glare for mine.

CROW (Matt): DEAL!

as did Mimi and Kari. At lunch, TK noticed that Kari was shooting him

BRIAN: Not a word dark boy.

TOM: What?

TOM (TK): Well duh.

TK nodded. "What right do they have to tell me who I can and can't date?

BRIAN: Meaning they have none.

Just because they hate Mimi doesn't mean I have to as well."

TOM (Matt): Yes it does.

CROW (TK): No it doesn't.

DAVIS: I don't.

DAVIS: HEY!

Ricco said, "Well, Matt's been spreading rumors that you were cheating on Kari with Mimi for over a year

BRIAN: So they believe someone who was held back for a year who's dating a minor?

and that you're going to the prom together... But the seniors on the team hate Matt more than they hate you for going with Mimi, and she and I set the record straight to them.

If you need help Friday night, we'll be there for you."

ALL (Singing): When the rain starts to fall.

"So will Izzy, Yolei, myself, and Evi," Davis chimed in.

"Luckily, sophomores are also allowed into the prom without dates that are juniors or seniors."

TOM: Meaning Davis should have no problems getting in.

(ALL laugh so hard, they fall out of their seats)

TK smiled at this. "Thanks, you two. I'm lucky

DAVIS: Hi Lucky, you look like TK.

TOM: HEY! It's the Starbelly Sneeches!

Mimi furiously stomped out of the school after gym class at the end of Tuesday.

BRIAN (Student): EARTHQUAKE!

Matt and Kari had been spreading wild rumors about her and TK, and that they were going to the prom together.

TOM: Wait! Isn't that part true?

All the girls in her class jeered her for dating a younger man,

DAVIS: They want her to date an older man?

and for dissing Kari. Some of her real friends said nothing, and she knew that it was only because that they didn't want to get bashed along side her.

MAGGIE: Or get their butts kicked.

She had forgiven them, since her anger was bent

CROW: Yeah, it looks out of shape.

The voice made Mimi calm down as she turned to see

He's serving detention right now for it, so that at least eases some of the pain."

BRIAN: WAIT! Willis is an American Digidestined who lives in Colorado, not Japan.

Mimi carefully moved the pack and saw that TK's left eye was now black.

BRIAN (Singing): I see a row of cars and I want to paint them black.

She carefully placed a kiss on it before replacing the ice pack.

They walked home together, arm-in-arm.

When they reached TK's apartment, his mother told them,

TOM (TK'S mom): You can't see Mimi again.

MAGGIE, BRIAN, & CROW: We wish.

DAVIS: I don't.

DAVIS (Dizzy): I like Kari.

"I talked with your father, TK.

CROW (TK'S mom): And I'm getting custody of the house.

He and I agreed that Matt shouldn't go to the Prom after all that's happened."

MAGGIE: At least only one idiot will be there.

DAVIS: Yeah, TK.

BRIAN: She means you dummy.

DAVIS: Oh.

(Then, it dawns on him)

DAVIS: HEY!

"What did you two tell him?" TK asked.

BRIAN (TK'S mom): We'd cancel all his accounts, break his guitar, and shave his head.

TOM: Like that would happen.

"That if he went, we'd cancel all his accounts, break his guitar, and shave his head.

ALL: ACK!

BRIAN: It was just a guess!

It almost didn't work until I also mentioned that we'd make him go on dates with Jun Motomiya.

(ALL shudder)

MAGGIE: Dates with JUN?!

BRIAN: If he still goes after that, then he committing suicide.

He folded faster than I do in a poker game."

TOM: Hate to see her in Vegas.

All three of them laughed at this: Mrs. Takaishi at her joke,

ALL: What joke?

and Mimi and TK at the thought of Matt handcuffed to Jun

DAVIS: Most would be sick to their stomachs.

if she ever got a hold of him again. It made Mimi feel better knowing that Matt, and possibly Kari as well, wouldn't be at the Prom so that meant less trouble.

CROW: You think this threat would work?

ALL: No.

CROW: Hey, the stars are out tonight.

TOM: And the weatherman said it would be cloudy.

BRIAN: Since when were they right about anything?

TK checked himself in the mirror

DAVIS: For 8 hours.

Tonight, he would be taking Mimi to the Prom, no matter who or what stood in his way.

He was thankful that his black eye was now gone.

DAVIS: For it had to move to America.

ALL: We doubt it.

Suddenly, his mother knocked on the bathroom door.

MAGGIE (TK'S mom): TK, you've been in there for hours!

"You're date is here!" she called to him. Smiling, TK picked up the corset he recently bought and walked to the living room. He froze in his tracks as he saw Mimi in her dress and hair

bow. "Mimi... Wow!"

CROW (TK): You look just like Mini Mouse.

Smiling, the pink-haired girl walked over to him and placed a boutonniere in his

tuxedo. "Wait till we get there," she whispered softly. "You'll be speechless."

ALL (Praying): Please God, don't let this be a lemon! Please God, don't let this be a lemon!

Mrs Takaishi emerged with a camera and said, "Okay, you two! I have to get

pictures for the Tachikawas as I promised, not to mention some for myself." She

snapped about five pictures

TOM (Grandpa Simpson): You stole my soul!

with two cameras before she said, "I'll be home very late tonight, but please make sure he's home by 11, Mimi."

BRIAN (TK'S mom): And don't forget to change his dippers.

TK glared at his mother. "Mooooom! I'm 16 now."

DAVIS (TK): I CAN DO WHAT EVER I WANT!

MAGGIE (TK'S mom): DON'T TALK TO ME THAT WAY YOUNG MAN!

DAVIS (TK): Yes ma'am.

"I know, honey, but I do worry about you.

CROW (TK'S mom): Now that you're dating a hooker.

BRIAN: CROW!

Now that you and your brother are at each other's throats, I'm extremely worried."

TOM (TK'S mom): About how everyone will think of me now that you're dating Mimi.

Izzy nodded and pointed over to the dance floor, where Matt and Kari were dancing.

TOM: Badly.

They all walked over to a table and sat down. Evi said, "What was that about

TK explained about how Matt was forbidden to come

Ricco and his date got next to them and said,

DAVIS (Ricco): Can we join?

(MAGGIE hits DAVIS with the mallet)

DAVIS (Dizzy): Kari's beautiful.

"Matt and Kari noticed you're here. Be careful." TK nodded, but then lost himself in the dance with Mimi.

TOM (TK): I'M LOST!

He expected people to jeer him and try to cut in to dance with Mimi,

BRIAN: Because there was a line of guys behind her.

but instead people were saying "Way to groove, TK!" or "I never knew you could dance like that!"

TOM (Crowd member): YEAH, WHAT DID YOU DO? BREAK YOUR LEG?!

Only one person tired to cut in during a slow dance: one of the senior guys grabbed Mimi and said, "May I have this dance?"

DAVIS (Mimi): Here you go, one dance. That's $4.50.

He was surprised when Yolei grabbed him and said, "You certainly may, handsome!"

BRIAN: Anybody surprised by this?

ALL: No.

As she dragged him away, she winked at TK and Mimi, who began to dance.

CROW: Badly.

"I could have handled him," Mimi said under her breath.

(BRIAN grabs CROW'S beak shut)

She felt a hand on her cheek and found her head turned slowly to face her partner.

MAGGIE (Mimi): TK, you have the biggest zit I have ever seen.

"Still, that was one way to prevent your hands from getting dirty. Forget about

it, and let's focus on the here and now."

DAVIS (Singing, badly): Right here, right now.

ALL: DON'T YOU EVER SING AGAIN!

DAVIS (Nervous): O-okay.

Mimi smiled brightly as she pulled TK closer to her and rested her head on his shoulder.

TOM: CRACK!

CROW (TK): MY SHOULDER!

They were now dancing closer together than they had about two weeks ago when they told each other their feelings.

MAGGIE: So, they went right through each other?

TK was enjoying himself. He didn't notice someone coming up behind him and

tearing him away from Mimi, saying, "Excuse us!"

BRIAN: Its Matt.

DAVIS: No way.

BRIAN: $5 says it is.

DAVIS: I only have yin or Digidollars.

BRIAN: 5 yin then.

DAVIS: You're on.

Matt grabbed Mimi by the arm and led her off the floor and outside.

Matt touched his jaw, which now ached form the punch.

TOM (Sarcastic): NO! REALLY?

BRIAN: Careful Tom. Remember the last time you were sarcastic one-too-many times?

He then felt something on his chin

CROW (Matt): OH MY GOD! I GOT A ZIT!

and looked at his fingers. They were stained with blood, which ran from his lips.

TOM (Matt's blood): OH NO! IT'S THE LIPS! RUN! RUN!

He faced TK, a look of shock on his face.

DAVIS: Because lightning struck him.

"TK, why?! Can't you see I'm trying to protect you from that-?"

CROW (Matt): Hooker.

BRIAN: CROW!

CROW: What? I was finishing his thought.

BRIAN: Good point, but still.

"Shut it, Yamato!" TK snapped. "Don't even THINK of insulting her!

TOM (Matt): Too late.

And I don't recall asking you for help on my love life.

MAGGIE (Matt): You did yesterday. Remember?

I'm 16 now, big brother, and I don't need you for anything."

BRIAN (TK): Except I need your car for tonight.

Matt now glared at TK as Kari appeared beside him. "You ungrateful little-!"

CROW (Matt): Man.

"What have I to be grateful to you for?!

BRIAN: He protected you in the Digiworld.

MAGGIE: And looked for you when you were tricked by Devidevimon.

TOM & CROW: FANCOUPLE! FANCOUPLE! FANCOUPLE!

With that, Matt moved Kari aside and lunged at TK. They fell to the ground and began to struggle with each other, screaming at each other.

TOM: Ah, the male version of a catfight.

BRIAN: UGH! (Sarcastic): Thanks for the mental image Tom.

Kari looked hatefully at Mimi and charged

MAGGIE: $200 on her credit card.

That didn't make Kari stop as she lunged again, this time grabbing a handful of Mimi's hair and pulling at it. Mimi grit her teeth as she tried to shrug off the pain and tear off Kari.

CROW (Joey Styles): CATFIGHT! CAT FIGHT!

Meanwhile, the two brothers were still struggling with each other. Davis came out

(BRIAN grabs CROW'S beak shut)

BRIAN: OUTSIDE! OUTSIDE!

and watched everything.

CROW (Winfield from "Dracula: Dead and Loving it!"): I saw everything.

He watched as they got up and began to trade punches.

TOM (TK): Trade your punch for mine.

BRIAN (Matt): DEAL!

"That's it, TK! Give him a left! Let him have a right! Whoo, what an uppercut! Jab, jab, jab!"

BRIAN (TK): SHUT UP DAVIS!

He stopped cheering as he saw TK get kneed in his family jewels and fell to the ground.

DAVIS: I'D CHEER THAT…

(MAGGIE gets out the mallet)

DAVIS: I'll be good.

Matt said in a harsh tone, "So help me, I'll teach you if I have to pound your brains in!" He raised his hands into one big fist, ready to deliver one last blow to TK's head.

BRIAN: NOT A WORD! HE MEANS PUNCHES!

CROW: What? I wasn't going to say anything.

BRIAN: Just in case.

Mimi saw this, tore Kari off,

CROW: Say…

BRIAN: NOT A WORD!

and threw the younger girl at Matt. The two hit their heads together, knocking Kari out. Matt was stunned but still standing.

TOM (Singing): I'm still standing.

TK then got to his feet and delivered a

MAGGIE (Matt): We'll see what the DNA test says.

BRIAN: He's already got a date with Jun. Isn't that punishment enough?

MAGGIE: Remember who the baka in this fic is?

Mimi and Davis rushed out to TK. Mimi hugged him tight

BRIAN: I'm proud of you Tom. You made it this far with out a dark rift.

Mimi broke away from TK and pulled out some tissues from her purse. She gently

wiped away the blood from his lip with one and then gave him another to hold to

his nose. They thanked Davis for his help and began to walk home.

CROW: In the middle of the night?

BRIAN: Come on, this is the Digidestined here.

CROW: Yeah, but one of them is Mimi.

BRIAN: Point.

DAVIS: At least it's a clear night for them to walk.

Mimi unlocked her apartment door and led TK inside to the sofa. "I'll get us some cold drinks," she said before she kissed his cheek and then went to the refrigerator.

MAGGIE (Mimi): Let's see, wine, coke, ah, beer.

TK was still holding a tissue to his nose, unsure if the bleeding had stopped.

"Mimi," he said, "I want you to know I'm sorry for-."

BRIAN (TK): Being a crappy date and not letting you take a shot at Matt.

Mimi came back with two cold cans of soda and said, "Takeru Takaishi, I don't

want to hear you apologize for something that you had no control of! If there's

anyone to blame for what happened, it's

ALL: The writer.

Matt because he went to the Prom despite his warnings."

CROW: And he was dumb enough to go when his folks said he'll have to date Jun.

She gave one can to TK and then slowly removed the tissue from his nose.

DAVIS (Mimi): OH GOD! THE BLOOD IS GUSHING OUT!

BRIAN: Tom does it better.

TOM: Awww… thanks.

"The bleeding's stopped. I'll get a washcloth so we can remove all the bloodstains."

CROW: Um, I don't think a wash cloth alone will do it.

TK nodded at her and watched her go to the bathroom. He opened his soda and had

several sips. <I didn't really mean what I said to Matt tonight.

BRIAN (TK): I'll mean it tomorrow.

I'll apologize when I know he's suffered enough... which will be quite a long time from now.>

MAGGIE: Actually that would be after his date with Jun.

He looked up to see Mimi return with a wet cloth, which she carefully used to

clean his face. Once she was done, she looked at him and said,

DAVIS (Mimi): You're ugly.

"There we are: a handsome face once more!" She kissed him softly to make sure she didn't hurt

him. "Still kissable."

TOM: Unfortunately, the fight left him very fragile and the kiss killed him.

BRIAN: Ok Tom that's enough.

TK cupped her

BRIAN: You said it all ready Crow.

CROW: Dang.

He felt content as she wrapped her arms around him and deepened the kiss. His one hand found the zipper to her dress and slowly began to undo it as he moved his lips to her neck.

ALL: ACK! NO LEMONS!

Mimi softly moaned as she felt again the passion of last Saturday all over

again. She moved her hands to remove TK's jacket and began to unbutton his

shirt. "Takeru... love me..."

DAVIS: I'M TOO YOUNG FOR HENTAI!
