Begins Chapter 23……

Jeff did a last minute check for anyone, in his house but they were asleep as he figured they'd be. He carried TK up the stairs and to an unused part of the house, the attic. Once up there he tied TK to the chair that was freed up then tying TK's hands around the back of the chair and his feet tied to the chair's legs making sure he couldn't move his legs when he woke up he put a gag on him also. When he was finished he left him there.

Next Morning in Japan December 26th :

TK woke up, his head was pound when he attempted to touch his head he couldn't noticing now his hands were tied down and his feet were also tied as well the fact he had a gag on. 'what the hell.' he thought.

He tried to yell for help but he couldn't cause of the gag. That's when the door opened. And Jeff stepped in, he had some food, in his hands also. TK looked at him in surprise. "Ah, you're awake I was wondering if I might of hit you a little too hard." He said. TK yelled something through the gag.

"What was that?" Jeff asked. TK stopped and looking at him angry. "All right I guess you are hungry." He said. Jeff was a bout to take off the gag when he stopped. "But you got to promise me if I take it off your not going to yell." He said. TK nodded agreeing. When he took off the gag, TK immediately spoke. "What do you think this is going to accomplish?" he asked.

"Accomplish? Nothing, your just the starting point of my plan. Against Tai." he replied, TK looked at him like he was a crazy. "What do I have to do with Tai?" he asked. Jeff rolled his eyes.

"Your hungry aren't you?" he shoved a piece of toast into TK's mouth, TK choked a bit but when he finished chewing. "You can't keep me here forever." He replied. Jeff shrugged.

"Says you, you see I finished every last piece of evidence that would prove your still alive." He said then shoving the rest of the toast in TK's mouth, he chewed it up quickly. "What do you mean!" he cried. "let's just say that your car is sleeping with the fishes. At the bottom of the canal." He replied.

TK looked frantic at the window of the attic to the outside the sun was shinnying all ready. "You can't do that!" he cried. "Oh but I all ready have cause at this very moment you mother is probably going to check to see if you came home last night. and when she dose…" Jeff trailed off leaving TK to think about it.

"No……my family going to flip!….Kari…let me go!" he yelled. Jeff slapped his hand over his mouth. He forced the straw into his mouth TK took a few sips of the orange juice. That were forced. "Don't yell again or I'll leave you up here and you can starve to death." He replied. he gagged TK up again, the left.

10am:

Nancy doing her usual chores around the house. She looked at time realizing it was really late in the morning for her son to be sleeping at this time, TK usually didn't sleep in at all. She went to his bedroom door, and opened it. "TK ……….." she looked at her son's bed it was neatly tucked in but he wasn't there "TK!" she called in panic. 'Where could he have gone, what happened to him.' She thought. Then she called the Kamiya's.

"Hello." Anna answered the phone. "Anna…is my son there?" she asked. "TK?" she asked. "Yeah is he there?" she asked shakily hoping to god he was. "No, he went home last night after dropping Kari off." She told her, Nancy broke down on the phone.

"He's not here, Anna he never came home last night." she said sobbing. "shhh…Nancy I'll come over." She replied, she put the phone down silently she started to thing of what it might do to Kari, she grabbed her jacket but before she could leave Kari then came down the stairs.

"Mom, where are you going?" she asked. Anna looked at her daughter 'She going to have to know sooner or later' she thought. "Kari honey, get changed." She told her seriously.

Kari understood and did as she was told when she came back. Anna told her the grim news about her boyfriend. "Kari… I don't know how to stay this but, TK is missing." She said. "What!…" she half yelled and half sound like she was about to cry.

"I'm going to see his mother." She replied. "I'm coming also." She said trying to sound strong.

Nancy called he ex-husband about it TK he said he was on his way over as well.

"Matt get up." His dad told him. "but there's no classes until noon." He replied still sleep he turned over on this other side. "This is important TK's missing, were going over to you mothers." He said to him, "Those aren't the kind of jokes that are funny." Matt told him. His dad shook his head. "It's not a joke Matt." His dad said with absolute seriousness.

Hawaii, Maui…12:00pm…

"Sora….I am not going on that." He told her. Pointing at the horse. "Tai it's a horse it won't kill you." She told him. "I am not going on it." He said. "You rode on Greymon what so different about a horse." She asked.

Tai was sweating… "all right. Fine but can I ride with you? I mean it would be so much romantic." He said trying to smooth talk her now. "No, Tai your never going to learn are you. Didn't the guy just say one person per horse?" she asked.

"Okay but, I don't want it to buckle me off." He replied. "The horse won't Tai, why are you making a big deal of this?" she asked. He pulled himself up onto the horse it pretty high. "Wow…it's high…." The horse moved a bit, Tai gripped on to the rinds.

The man leading the horse back tours of the island explain that the horse's would follow each other so you didn't have to worry about them wonder off with you. He then went over how to control the horse and everything.

Matt and his dad arrived first, Matt knocked on the door. His mother opened it, allowing them both in. "What happened?" his dad asked. Nancy walked toward the living as they did also. The doorbell rang again and Matt got up to get the door. "Mrs. Kamiya, Kari…come in." he replied. They all went to sit on the couch.

"Well we got to call the police, to file a missing person report." Dave said, his own worries started to set in. Matt was lost in his own world also. Kari listen to almost all that was said she couldn't believe she didn't want to believe it. Matt flipped the TV on the a news broadcast came on.

"witness say that this blue 1995 ford intrepid, been driven into the Obadia Canal. The listen plate # TK4097 was on the car…" the voiced drowned out. "No….no…" Matt said. He put his head in his hands. "That's the license plate number on his car." He replied.

Kari looked at him, she remembered. Now she began to cry, then running out of the apartment. Matt noticed and followed her.

Dave dialed the number for the police station. "Hello Obadia police." The secretary a replied "I'd like to report missing persons report. On Takeru Takashi." Dave said into the phone.

2:00pm……

'come on…' TK thought he struggling with the ropes that were hold his hands together. He yelled for help a few times, but it was useless he couldn't get thought the gag. Which was hurting him, cause Jeff had tied it pretty tight. He stopped unsuccessfully for getting himself free. The door opened Jeff stepped in.

"Those people are pretty quick TK…they found the car." He replied. TK was staring at him. "What's wrong? You'd think you'd be happy." He asked. Then smiled. "Yeah that's right you can't talk. Well let me undo that gag. *he unties it* Okay there." He replied. TK looked at him. "What do I have to do with this plan!" he cried out. "TK, don't stress out." he replied then sat down on a chair. "it's all part of the plan." He told him. TK angered.

"YOUR PLAN!! To make everyone my parents, my brother, my girlfriend and my friends think I'm DEAD!" he yelled. Jeff put the gag back on him. "Don't you ever yell again…and if you push me, I could really make you dead." He replied he showed TK the hunting knife.

"Changed your mind Takeru?" he asked. He got a small table wearing a pair of gloves, he wiped the finger prints of the pencil and got a fresh clean piece of paper putting it in front of TK on the desk he untied TK's hands. "Now write what I say." He replied, holding the knife in front of him. He nodded and picked up the pencil, and got ready to write.

Maui 7:00pm…..

"Sora, I need a rest how about a kiss?" he asked. Sora took a seat on the bench, Tai sat next to her. "No, not yet." She replied. Tai moaned. "But, We've been shopping…..for sooo long." He replied. Sora smiled at him. "No we haven't it's only been an hour." She replied. "it's almost time for the sunset, and dinner." Tai said.

"And I've got a good Idea for where we can have our dinner." He stated. "Really? Where?" she asked really curious. "Nope it's a secret." Tai told her. Sora rolled her eyes at him. "Okay Tai, what ever you say." She said. They laughed and then kissed.

"Kari wait!" Matt called to her she ran down all way to the lobby of the apartment and stopped. Matt came soon after. "Kari….I'm upset too… he's my brother." He said shakily, tears started to form in his eyes. "We all loved him." He finished. Kari looked at him angry.

"How could you say that…..you loved him…Matt you have to have hope he's alive." She was crying, her tears streaming doing her face. "I do have hope Kari!" he exclaimed. He started to sob. "I do have hope he's still alive." He replied. he sunk to the ground.

On his knees, he put his head into his hands upset crying softly "Matt, I'm sorry." She replied wiping her tears away from her eyes. He didn't say anything but nodded. He stopped his crying and stood up. Wiping away tears from his eyes. "I…I….I'm going okay." Matt said to her. She nodded. Matt walked out of the door, in a zombie like state.

Kari watched him go. She looked away…she had to call Tai and Sora. She went into her coat pocket and pulled out her cell phone. She took the piece of paper out looked at it and dialed the number that was written down.

=Ring, Ring, Ring=

"Hello. Hotel Hana, Maui" The voice answered. "Can you please put me through to cottage number 21." Kari replied. "Yes, hold on one second." The male voice replied. 'please, please be there.' Kari thought. The voice came back on . "I'm sorry miss, there's no answer would you like to leave message?" he asked. "Yes, can you tell them to phone Kari Kamiya on her cell phone it's a emergency, and it has nothing to do with Saria." She told him. "Okay I'll get this to them as soon as they come back." He replied.

Isolated part of beach…

Table set up in the middle of the beach Sora and Tai were eating the sky was changing to a beautiful color of orange. "This is the most amazing surprise ever, having dinner on the beach in Hawaii." Sora replied.

"Hey well, you know I'm the best at everything." Tai began to brag. "Ha, yeah right. If you count taking 15 minutes to talk you into going on the a horse back tour of Hana." She replied. Tai laughed.

"No, you see that's doesn't count." He replied. "It dose too." She replied. Getting ups suddenly Tai got up ran toward the ocean. Tai was wearing his Hawaiian swimming trunks with a matching shirt, which was unbuttoned. Sora wore a bikini top and bottom and it was red. With a black skirt (I don't know what those things are called but they look like the long skirts except that it's waterproof and you wear it over your swimming suit bottom.)

Tai smiled over at her as Sora watched him. "What are you doing?" she asked as he sat down on the wet part of beach which the tide came over. "Waiting for you to join me." He replied. Sora eyed him curious. "Join you on the beach, your sitting in the wet sand." She said watching him as tide came up the beach causing to get Tai all wet, which he didn't seem to mind.

Considering the fact that the water was warm.. He put his arms behind his head he then laid down, looking up at the sky. Sora took that skirt off, then took a glass from the table and sneaked her way to the water she scooped some of it up In the glass then approached Tai.

"See Sora. What do you have to lose? I mean looking up at the sky the nice colors of the Hawaiian sunset…. Ah!" he suddenly jumped up. Sora was laughing her head off. "I got you!" she replied. then started to laugh. "Oh…you are so going to get it Mrs. Sora Kamiya." He replied. he advanced toward her.

She taunted him. "Oh, really well lets see you try." She replied and took off he ran after her, he chased her all over the small beach until he eventually caught her. The both breathing hard.

"See now, I'll show you not …to do that again." He replied smiling, Sora looked at him "So what is that revenge your going to give me?" she asked him. Tai simply smiled then scooped her up, and started to carry her toward the water. Sora gasped. "Tai come on, I didn't throw you in the ocean." She cried out trying not to laugh.

"You were asking for it honey." He replied, he approached the water and was standing in waist deep water now Sora was in his arms. "Tai I didn't want to get wet!" she replied. "Well that's what usually happens when you come to the beach Sora." He replied and dropped her in the water. She came up. "I can't believe you!" she replied laughing. He splashed her, then she splashed him.

Back at hotel….

The bell boy went looked for cottage number 22. once he found he knocked on the door to see if anyone was in, when no one answered he then stuck the note on to the door making sure that it would stay. Then he left.

Matt came to door steps of Mimi's house, he didn't even know how he made it here alive, he wasn't even thinking on how cold it was outside, it was cold freezing. He couldn't hold back the sudden thoughts, how could his brother survive that. He must of caught hypothermia something that Tai nearly died from, but it was different situation from TK's. He held on to his head. "GET OUT!!!" he yelled suddenly. "No….no…." he repeated. "TK!!!!!!" he yelled out. tears ran down his cheeks.

Mimi heard something from outside she shyly went down the stairs. Looked around noticing that no ones around, she sighed. Then she carefully walked around.

"TK!!!COME BACK!!!!!!" he yelled obviously in pain, he didn't even get a chance to see him. He hadn't saw him since…he couldn't remember. He couldn't think straight at all he couldn't believe this was happening to him.

Mimi jumped she heard yelling for TK she went to the door looked through the door and gasped. 'Matt!' she thought and hurried and opened the door. "Matt! What wrong?" she asked.

She was upset with him but now everything just washed away when she saw him like that. Matt looked up at her his eyes were red from all the crying he'd been doing for the past few hours. "Mimi….I…..need you." He replied. Mimi took him into her arms. Patting his back. And pulled him into her house, she took his coat off and hung it up.

Jeff took the scissors from the table. "What are you doing!" he asked as he pulled his head way from him. "Stay still, I need some of your hair." He replied. "My hairs off limits." TK replied. Jeff laughed. "Shut up or else, I'll do what I said before." He replied. TK quieted allowing him to cut a bit of his hair.

Hawaii……

Sora tackled Tai on the beach. The were both laughing Sora on top of him, the laughter died down. Leaving the two looking each other. They started to kiss, but it wasn't just any kiss it was one that was full of passion, starting off slowly then it turned more heated with passion.

They rolled around on the beach for a while the surf raced up on their bodies. Tai stopped looking down at her. "Sora, I want you." He replied. "So do I." She replied, then noticed realizing that he was going to say something. "but ….." she started up for him.

"but, I don't think I want to do it here, it's the sand it going up my shorts and my hair is all disgusting. And I'm all itchy now." he replied. As much as she was enjoying the little rolling around on the beach it was kind of irritating feeling the sand all over her body. "You know your right lets get back to the hotel we can take a shower then go in the……. Jacuzzi." She replied slyly. "Good Idea." He said he got up off of her and helped her up.

Japan…..

Mimi pulled him toward the couch she sat him down. Then took a seat next to him. "Matt, what wrong? What is it?" Mimi asked him softly, she pushed a strand of hair out of his eyes, his tears were gone he sniffed a bit. Before he began.

"My life is falling apart." He replied. "Matt if this is about Me….." she was cut off by him. "Some what, but…TK's missing. He's gone." He replied. Mimi looked at him shocked. "Oh gosh Ma--." She was cut off by the door bell.

They both looked toward the door watching it. "I'll get it. Stay here." She replied. getting up she approached to door looked through it and opened the door. "How can I help you?" she asked, the man looked at her solemnly.

"I'm looking for Matt Ishida I was told he would be here." He said. Mimi nodded. "Yeah but, he's upset I don't think he want to see anyone….hey!" she cried as the man pushed his way in and seeing Matt who stood up, came up to him. "Mr. Matt Ishida?" he asked. Matt nodded "Yeah that's me." He replied. "You're a requested to testify against Brittany Coners psychiatric evaluation in front of a judge. You are here by subpoenaed." Matt looked at the guy.

"But I thought I dropped all charges." He said, obviously confused. "You must attend, and you can not leave town or else you will be face with charges." He replied and left the house. Mimi watch confused also.

Hawaii….

Sora and Tai were getting irritated at the sand in there bathing suits. Tai stumble to but the keys in the door but the he dropped them on the ground he bent down and picked them up again. Sora rolled her eyes then glanced at the door. Seeing a note.

"What's that?" she questioned. "Huh? What's what?" Tai asked. Sora picked the note off the door. Looked at it wide eyed. "I'm calling home something happened." She replied. "What happened? Doesn't it say?" Tai asked worried. "it's from Kari she say it has nothing to do with Saria but that to call her immediately." She replied, she gave the paper to Tai, Sora opened the door and went straight to the phone dialing in the numbers really fast.

Kamiya's……..11:00pm.

Kari ran to the phone. Picking it up immediately. "Hello." She replied. "Kari what's wrong we got the message." Sora said. "Oh thank god…..Sora….TK's missing." She replied Sora gasped. "What? What do you mean." She asked. Tai watched her emotional expression. "He's gone they found his car in the Canal….." she started to cry. Sora blinked back tears, Tai looked at her confused. "Are they….sure?" she asked. Her. "Yes, the license plate…..*starts to sob uncontrollably.*" Sora starts to cry also. "Kari…..it will be alright." She sob.

"Sora what's wrong…" Tai said he immediately went by her side. "Tai…TK's ……..gone." she replied upset. Tai hit speaker phone. "Kari I'm here are you okay?" Tai asked her. She was still sobbing. "Tai I saw him last night…" she starts up again. Tai started to cry. Holding his wife he was talking to his crying sister and trying to clam them both down. "Well we'll come home tomorrow okay." Tai said. Kari wiped the tears from her eyes,

"Don't you guys stay on your honey moon." She replied as she sniff a little. "Nonsense Kari, where family were not going to stay on vacation while everyone at home is suffering." Sora replied, sniffing as well. "We can always go another time. And Finish our honeymoon" Tai said to her. Kari could tell he was crying also. When they both hung the phones up.

Obadia…..

"TK…..why?" she thought out. Kari figured the frame he had given her for her birthday about a year ago. She looked at the inscription. She read it out loud. "You're my first love, an you'll always be the one closest to my heart. ~ Love….TK." she gulped trying to blink back her tears. She hugged the frame tight crying.

Jeff's…..

'How can he do this to me. He's wrecking the lives of the people I love in my life.' TK thought he blinked back his own tears. "help some on help!!!!" TK said trying to talk thought the gag. He broke down. 'Kari if you can hear me, I'm still alive! I'm a Jeff house in his attic!!!' he called in his mind maybe he could try it but he didn't think those mental calls for help would work.

Kari's room….

Kari's eye's widen. It's like she felt TK was still alive….. 'maybe there is hope.' She thought….then quickly she hurried dismissed the idea. 'if I going to give myself these illusion it won't help me.' She thought. She didn't want to put up false hope that he could be alive. If it provided her wrong it would hurt her to much.
