Digimon Fan Fiction ❯ Cursed Love ❯ Race for the Village ( Chapter 5 )

I'm sorry it took so long to write this chapter and I managed to rescue this story but I'm sure it won't be long before writers block finds out one of the stories of mine is free. I all so ordered two doujinshi's of Takouji off of e-bay and it will take 1-2 weeks for to arrive to my apartment.

Something didn't feel right ... it was all most as if they where all being followed. Tomoki tried to keep his mouth shut that his feet hurt right then something caught his eye, he turned merely screamed when the bushes moved and out came what looked like a black like snake with red eyes ... and it was staring at Tomoki right in the eyes.

Izumi stopped dead .... her eyes big .... how did the creature get free? Right then something red whizzed by her, she blinked then noticed that it was Takuya running on all fours toward Tomoki and pushed him out of the way and went crashing to the ground ...

"Are you all right?"

"Look out!"

Takuya turned his head to see the black snake coming toward them. The half digimon got on all fours like a dog as Tomoki backed away shaking really bad. The shake hissed bring his tail up that looked like rattle shake like tail. Without warning it longed for him, Takuya closed his eyes ready for the impact. The only thing that happened was the others calling out Tomoki's name. Takuya opened his eyes to see that the innocent boy was surrounded by dark fog and crying out in pain as the ground started form a whole and he started to sink into it.

With a daring attempt, Junpei leaped out to reach out but the snake lashed out bit him on the arm causing him to cry out in pain. Kouji whipped out his sword, its metal going right through his neck not seaming to acknowledge the sword. It finally let go slowly turned its head toward the dark haired boy looking right in his eyes.

"Mmm." It hissed with a smirk looking harder into Kouji's eyes feeling that this boy had a lot of pain.

The whole vanished and Tomoki dropped to the ground shaking violently. Takuya in the air and landed right in front of the snake then lunged for it with claw and fangs ... damn it, the snake thought, there's got to be another way for me to follow them .... and if I don't get to get energy .... I can't finish the job that I started one thousand years ago ... with that it leaped into the bushes causing Takuya to drop on his chest.

"Man, what was that thing?" Junpei asked breathing hard sweat coming down his face one eye closed and the other showing pain.

Takuya got to his hand and knees slamming his fits to the ground and stopped when he heard footsteps and stopped to his side then metal pressed carefully against his skin, the red haired half-digimon turned his head looked up to see Kouji looking down at him with slight anger ...

"Start talking."

"We should be more careful," Bokomon said, "now that creature is free it will ---"

"It will what kill everyone in the village and destroy it," Takuya said rising to his feet, "I'll try to slow it down until you get that flower to your brother and evacuate the village!"

"But Takuya ..."

"Don't Takuya me! Now get going before it's too late to even beat Shadowamon!"

Before anyone could object he bounded into the bushes and started to run after the dark snake like creature .... I can't believe this! How could I have forgotten that's where I helped sealed him, and now Junpei will suffer the same way .... great guilt went through Takuya as he tried to keep on the snake's tail ....

"There's not much I can do with this bite, I'm sorry, Junpei," Izumi said with slight pain in her eyes as she wrapped it up with a piece of goss.

"We have no time for this," Kouji said getting on his horse pulling on the reigns, "Fine! I'll see you guys back at the village! Let's go!"

Making a sound, signaling for the mustang to go. It got on its hind legs and kicked his two front ones; bring them down he took off with a great burst of speed.

I'm sorry that this chapter is so short and thank you for liking it ... and I hope that Writers block don't kidnap this story while I'm not looking ... he did that last time ... talk to you soon and wish me luck, I'm going to need it.
