Takuya wanted to call out for help but he knew if he did that he would be dragged away and tied up like a dog in a canal as he held the shaking loner in his arms ...

"I know it hurts ... but it's going to be okay ...."

"W --- what --- what about --- my brother --- I can't --- let him -- see me --- like this ---"

"I thought the same thing ... but Shinya was the only one who really recognized me."

This caused Kouji to smile a little looking into Takuya's worried eyes and flushed face .... right then they both heard screaming coming from the Lady Kenchin's hut ...

"You --- better -- go ..."

"But ---"

"Just go!" Kouji snapped bring his black nose to Takuya's causing the other half-digimon's ears went down slightly as his cheeks turned pink indicating that he was blush ...

"Okay! But I'll be right back!"

Takuya came racing toward the hut and burst through the door and the first thing he saw Izumi on the floor, Tomoki fanning her and what looked like a half-human and half-beetle blue and yellow ...

"Wha --- who are you?"

"Takuya ... don't you recognize me?"

"J -- Junpei?"

"Well, at lest you didn't faint like Izumi did."

Takuya just stood there and feel straight on his side, one arm underneath his head and his right arm over his head, his left leg sticking up with disbelief on his face. He slowly got to his feet ...

"I thought you guys where in trouble ..."

"I would've synced it if there was ... where's Kouji?"

This caused the red-haired Digimon to flinch. Takuya turned and was about to run out when Junpei called out to him ...

"Where are you going?"

"To go find Kouji! Stay here in case Shadowamon comes back!"

"What? You mean that thing is still alive?"

"I'm afraid so ..." Takuya muttered turning his head away ....

Takuya walked up where he had left Kouji to find the spot empty. Kouji, I told you I was going to come back ... he stood there for moment inhaling the air when part of the air smelled different ... could that be Kouji? Without hesitation, Takuya took off running and came to a bridge and stopped. The sent ended here but where was he?

The half-digimon looked around, his ears drooping slightly ... this was his fault! He shouldn't have left! Stupid Izumi! Why is that she has to pass out sometimes like that? Right then he heard what sounded like soft sobbing coming from under the bridge. Takuya's ears perked up as he walked to the peg that was holding the post up and peered below. Sure he saw what looked like a person hunched over, Takuya slowly lowered himself ... getting closer he noticed that that the person was all blue and furry, a black tail, white fluffy pants, long claws his wolf like ears where back.

"K-Kouji?"

"Go away!"

At first, Takuya was taken back ... but lowered him self to the gowned and crawled in front of the other half-digimon trying not to wag his tail. That's when they heard another scream. This time it sounded like a scream for help! They both turned their heads as Takuya started to climb to the top and then stopped, he looked over his shoulder to see that Kouji had not moved.

"What's wrong?"

"I can't ..."

"Why not?"

"I can't let people see me like this!"

"So you're just going to let Shadowamon destroy your village?" Takuya asked angrily?

Kouji didn't say anything as he turned his head and looked down at the ground. This really angered Takuya! How can Kouji not want to fight back? Before Kouji new what happened, he was grabbed by his furry caller and was met with green/yellow eyes full of anger.

"That's it, huh? You're just going to let Shadowamon take everything you worked for! Everything you loved!"

Still, Kouji said nothing his ears back.

"Wake up Kouji!! If your not going to save your brother our this village who will!?" Takuya asked angrily shaking the other half-digimon.

By know, Kouji had great pain in his eyes he tried to hold back his tears that where threatening to come from his slanted big blue eyes.

"Fine!" Takuya snapped letting go of the other half-digimon, "sit here and mope! But I'm not going to let anything happen to the others!"

With that, Takuya turned and started to climb to the top and bounded off leaving Kouji standing there ...
