Ep 1. The Crest of Justice
Introduction
Davis (VO): It's been five years since we defeated Malemyotismon. So by now you're probably wondering "where are they now". So, just to bring you up to speed Tai and Sora are going out, Matt's band broke up, and for a future job he's started looking towards the stars, mainly because that's the furthest possible place from Jun, Izzy's still a total computer geek, Sora's become much more girly and started thinking about fashion, Mimi's moved back to Japan and taken up cooking. She hasn't quite gotten it yet, but it's a start, Joe's still trying to become a doctor, TA's got quite an imagination, if he keeps it he'd be a great author, Ken's regained his intelligence, this time with studying, not dark "gifts", Cody's taken quite an interest in law, if he doesn't become a lawyer I'm a mon's uncle Yolei and Ken are going out, well maybe that's not a strong enough statement, more like "making out every other second", Kari's gotten even more beautiful, and as for me, I'm right on track for that noodle stand and I'm dating Kari. We should probably tell TO, I mean he seems pretty understanding. Oh, one last thing, all the old crests are back.

(Davis is asleep, muttering things about Kari)
Demiveemon: Davish, Davish, wake up!
Davis: (annoyed) Demiveemon, don't wake me up unless you have a good reason.
Demiveemon: Kari'sh in her underwear outshide your room.
Davis: I'm not falling for that one for the third time in two days.
Kari: (OS) Falling for which one, Davis?
(Davis looks up in shock)
Davis: She's really here!?
(Kari enters the room)
Davis: (to Demiveemon) take five in the digiworld
Kari: Five? That's not nearly long enough!
(Demiveemon runs off)
(Kari and Davis start making out)
Davis: Why are we bothering with this? We're already almost naked!
Kari: Maybe so, but would you rather dive into a pool with the minimum amount of water for you to survive the dive, or a full pool?
(Davis gets the message)
(Phone rings)
(Davis answers the phone)
Davis: (annoyed) this had better be important!
Cody (on the other end): does an evil digimon rampaging through the digiworld seem important to you?
Davis: Just give me a second and I'll be there.
Cody: I've tried to call Kari and Yolei, but I haven't gotten an answer from either.
Davis: I know where Kari is and I'll pass the message along to her.
Cody: Thanks
(Davis hangs up the phone)
Davis (to Kari) there's an evil digimon rampaging through the digiworld.
(Cody hangs up the phone)
(Cody dials another number)
(Ringing until someone picks up)
Ken: Hello, Ken Ichjouji, boy genius.
Cody: Ken, there's trouble in the digiworld. We're going to need to go there. And if you see Yolei, then tell her.
Ken: Wormon and I will be right there. And I'll be sure to let Yolei know.
(Ken hangs up and turns to Yolei, who's right beside him)
(Cody hangs up)
(Cody dials another number)
(Ringing until a machine comes on)
TK (recorded on the machine): Hello, you've reached the house of Takeru...
(Cody hangs up)
Cody (thinking): I couldn't have left that message anyway.
(The digidestined have all arrived in the digiworld except for TK)
Veemon: (to Davis) That was pretty quick
Davis: it was cut short by an emergency
Veemon: (confused) no rubber?
Davis: No, a real emergency, as in the reason I'm here.
Veemon: Oh.
Kari: I'd love to show this bastard the wrath of an angry virgin, especially when his attack on the digiworld is the reason I'm still one.
Yolei: My thoughts exactly
(a large digimon which looks a bit like Apocalymon, only smaller and on a clock platform appears)
Veemon: (with analyzer screen) that's Chronomon. He's fully digivolved and has control of time. His Time Shift attack will make you wish you'd never been born, and then he can your wishes with his Time Portal.
Davis: Veemon, you know what to do
Ken: Now, Wormon
Yolei: Go for it, Hawkmon
Cody: Digiarmor energize
(digivolving sequences)
(Digiarmor fails)
Cody: what, that's not possible! Armor digivolving doesn't require energy and can't be stopped by barriers like control spires or dark digivices.
Davis/Ken: NOW!!!
(DNA digivolving sequence, except no contact)
Yolei: Let's do this!
Kari: Ready when you are!

Davis: (to Cody) you might want to digivolve Armadillomon so we have a chance

(The attack hits Angewomon and...)

Cody: (thinking) Ankylomon isn't doing anything in this battle.
Cody: I think I know how to beat him, but you have to trust me.
(Suddenly an unfamiliar symbol glows on Cody's chest)
Ankylomon: (recognizing the symbol) That's the crest of Justice
(Space sound effects)
(Light from D3 passes through crest)
Ankylomon: Ankylomon digivolve to...
(Changes to a larger form coated in Chrome-Digizoid)
Paleoankylomon: Paleoankylomon
Paleoankylomon: (in analyzer) I am Paleoankylomon, Ankylomon's ultimate form. My Bone Tail attack will send my opponents to an early grave.
Cody: Now, everyone at the same time.
Silphymon: Static Force
Paildramon: Desperado Blaster
Paleoankylomon: Bone Tail
(Chronomon is unable to dodge the attacks and doesn't have time to set up a Time Portal)
(Chronomon is destroyed, however to the horror of the DD a top coloured layer is destroyed before a much larger black layer)
All: No, she can't be!
(Arukenimon is heard laughing off in the distance)
Later that day...
(Davis and TK are talking)
Davis: TS, where were you today anyways? There was a giant battle against an evil Digimon called Chronomon. During the battle Ankylomon digivolved to his ultimate form, Paleoankylomon. Then when we defeated him he disappeared in two layers, a coloured one and a larger black one. So you know what that means, right? The bitch is back!
Narrator: What force has revived Arukenimon? And why has TK been so distant? Find out next time on Digimon: Digital Monsters.
