Tai groaned, rolled over, and looked at the beeping clock.
{7 am...}
The brunette groaned again and turned the clock off.
"Matt..." Tai nudged Matt in the ribs, "Time to get up."
"Nooooo..." Matt muttered, pulling Tai down to him. "I'm never getting up..."
Taichi giggled and started tickling Matt, "Time to get up you lazy bum!"
Matt started to giggle then laugh and he let Tai go. "No fair."
"I want to spend as much time as I can with you..." Tai said, taking a serious turn. "We're going home this afternoon."
"Yeah..." Matt said sadly. "Sora's gone too far. I considered apologizing to her and offering to stay friends but...she blew it. I don't even want to look at that traitor..."
Taichi nodded and snuggled into Matt.
"Let's go get some breakfast."

After showering and dressing the two went downstairs to the hotel's café. They ordered black coffee and scrambled eggs with bacon and toast on the side.
"So...what do you think jail with be like...?" Matt asked, biting into his toast.
"Don't talk like that. You won't go to jail."
"You do realize someone will get screwed either way. If we try to tell our story without 'coming out' they're less likely to believe us and I'll be screwed. If we tell them everything we both may be screwed if your parents freak out..."
"I know...."
Taichi poked his eggs and sighed. "I should be the only person to screw you..."
Matt laughed and shook his head. "You have a dirty, dirty mind."
"I know." Tai grinned.
They enjoyed the rest of their breakfast in a peaceful silence and made their way back up to their room.
"Let's get everyone else up and get packing." Matt said.
Tai nodded and made his way to Akira and Hiroshi's room. He knocked on the door a few times and waited. A few moments later, a very sleepy Akira opened the door.
"Tai?"
"The seventh gig is an afternoon show. It's time to get packed up, cause we're not coming back here after."
Akira yawned, "Ok. You and Matt will be running off to what? Germany?"
Tai chuckled and shook his head. "No. We're going home too."
Akira smiled and hugged Tai. "Everyone is here for you y'know. We won't let that bitch do this to you."
"Thanks Akira..."
Tai smiled weakly and hugged Akira again. The sandy blonde smiled once more and went back into his room to wake Hiroshi. Taichi sighed unhappily and walked back to his and Matt's room. He didn't want to go home. He didn't want to have Matt torn away from him. What if their parents didn't believe them? What if their parents freaked out?? Tai pressed a hand to his eyes-trying to keep the tears in. This really sucked.

The seventh gig turned out to be a private show for Lyla, Kristi, and their friends. Desperate to impress their employer the band played their hearts out. Taichi, Cherona, and Kaede cheered like wild men (and women).
"Yay Matt!!" Tai yelled, smiling.
The show lasted for only an hour then Lyla escorted the band to her office.
"Your performance was very good. Here's your payment as promised."
"Thank-you very much." Kaede said, bowing.
Lyla bowed too, "My pleasure. As you know, I've arranged for transport back home. Your plane leaves at two."
"Yes. Thank-you."
The band left the huge office building and piled into Lyla's limo.
"So...I hope everyone had fun." Kaede said.
"Yeah." Cherona answered.
"It was cool." Niru replied.
Tai and Matt were silent-cuddling each other in the corner seat of the limo.
"Guys..." Kaede sighed to herself. She didn't know what to say.
"We'll be ok." Matt said, kissing Tai's cheek.
Kaede nodded-deciding to let them be.
"I'll miss you..." Matt whispered, nuzzling his cheek against Tai's.
"Don't say that, Matt. We'll get through this. I promise you."
"I'm scared Tai. What if I get sent to jail? I don't stand a chance there. The inmates will pass me around like currency."
"You won't get sent to jail..." Tai said, hugging Matt close.

Matt and Tai never let each other go. They held hands as they walked through the airport. They hugged each other as they waited for the plane to arrive. Akira felt just as heart broken as they did. He couldn't even imagine life without Hiroshi by his side. He didn't know how Tai would survive without Matt. Tai sighed heavily and rested his head on Matt's chest. The blonde returned the sigh and rested his chin on Tai's head. He hoped their plane would be delayed or even cancelled or something. Something that let him hold onto Tai a little longer. Someone "upstairs" must have liked Matt because the plane home was delayed for an hour and a half. They didn't let go of each other. They didn't even move. They stayed in the same position for the full hour and thirty minutes.
"Flight QR45 bound for Tokyo is now boarding at Gate B." The loud speaker announced.
The band grabbed their carry-on luggage and slowly made their way to Gate B-Tai and Matt walking along in the back. To everyone's relief Matt and Tai had seats together. Tai sat in the window seat, and Matt sat beside him.
"Matt..." He whispered, finally letting tears brim his eyes.
Matt leaned his head on Tai's shoulder and took Tai's hand in his.
"I know...."
Matt slowly rubbed Tai's hand and fingers through the whole flight. He didn't dare speak. He knew that if he did he would start crying.

After a long and tense flight the plane finally landed at the Tokyo airport. Tai's heart dropped into his stomach, there was Sora's policeman uncle and a few of his men standing on the tarmac.
"They're waiting for you." Hiroshi growled. "Bastards."
"Are my parents there too?" Matt asked, not wanting to look.
"Yeah....TK and Kari too. Sora and her mom are standing there too..." Tai said, his voice wavering.
Matt squeezed his eyes shut. He didn't need this shit. "We say nothing of our relationship for now. Right now, I'm denying it to the max."
"Are you sure?" Tai asked.
Matt nodded, "Yes."
The plane came to a full stop and people started filing out.
"Tai...kiss me..." Matt murmured.
Tai leaned over his elbow rest and gave Matt what he hoped wouldn't be their last kiss. Matt tangled his fingers in Tai's hair-memorizing the soft feel of it. Hiroshi stood guard in the aisle-just in case the police decided to passenger-push and come on the plane. The plane was almost empty when Tai and Matt finally parted.
"I'm going to cry." Tai said.
"Me too." Matt said, grabbing his and Tai's bags. "But I can't. Then they'll know I was expecting this."
Tai stood and hugged Matt tight.
"Well..." Kaede said, tears already falling down her cheeks. "Let's go."
Tai started crying.
"Go Matt. Tai and Kaede will go after us."
Matt nodded, kissed Tai on the cheek, and exited the plane. Hiroshi, Akira, Koji, and Niru followed. Kaede, Tai, and Cherona followed slowly after-keeping their distance from the police.
"Hi mom. Hi dad." Matt said as cheery as he could, "What's going on?"
"Don't you act all innocent! We know what you did!" Mr. Ishida bellowed.
"E-excuse me!?" Matt stuttered.
"You stole all my money!!" Sora sobbed.
"What!? I did not!!" Matt protested.
"Matt Ishida. You're under arrest for theft." Sora's uncle said, wrenching one arm behind Matt's back.
"Ow! Hey!! I didn't steal anything!" Matt yelped.
"Yeah right. It took poor Sora almost three days to get home!!" Mr. Ishida scolded.
Sora's uncle finished cuffing Matt and took him by the arm.
"Come with me Ishida." He growled.
"Matt!!!" Tai called out-running from Kaede and Cherona.
"Tai!!!!" Kaede said.
"Stop!! What's going on!?" Tai demanded.
"Matt stole Sora's money!!" TK said.
"What? He would never!" Tai answered, tears brimming his eyes.
"Tell it to the judge." Sora's uncle said, leading Matt off.
Matt looked longingly at Tai-memorizing every inch of his face as he was lead away. Matt's parents and Sora's mom followed the police. Tai started crying again and Kari rushed to hug him.
"Don't worry Tai. We'll get him out of this mess." She whispered.
TK walked up and hugged Tai too.
"We'll all help." TK whispered.
Taichi nodded and cried some more-burying his face in his sister's shoulder. Akira glanced over at Sora to see her...smiling. He glared daggers at her, but she only smiled wider.
"Too bad Tai. You lose." She laughed and walked off.
Tai just kept crying.
