Chapter Eight: Until death do We Part

Kouji's father turned got out his sword and was about to strike when there was streak of pale white light hitting the blade causing the weapon to glow. Once the man dropped the sword, he turned to see a young boy with short blonde hair blue eyes clad in a blue robe.

"T.K.?"

"You!" Kouji's father hissed.

"Leave my friends alone!" T.K. ordered as his brother and Knights as twice as many as Kouji's father came up behind him.

"Why? So my son can be a fagot..."

"Stop calling me that! I'm a Knight!"

"That's right! The best Knight in all the land! Better then you!" Takuya pointed out.

"How dare you! You're dead!"

"Noooo!"

Taichi was the first to give the order for his troops to atack. Kouji's father told his Knights too; the one's that where holding the three kids where forgotten to fight. Kouji ran to his boyfriend and pulled him close saying that they needed to get away from this place.

"This way!" T.K. Shouted waving his hand twelve feet away.

The three ran to him. The young Wizard turned and started to run too not even noticing that Kouji's father was fallowing close behind.

BANG!

The three turned to see Takuya falling to the ground; his chest covered with blood. Kouji's father came out of the shadows; smoke coming form his gun. Kouji just stood there unable to move ... horror and lose clearly shown on his face. Takato's shaking fists tightened as pure hatred clearly showed on his face.

"How dare you...." he growled his teeth clenched together, "I'll make you pay! I'll make you suffer ...."

"Are you threatening me?" Kouji's father mocked.

"That doesn't matter! Hurting innocent people is wrong!" Takato shouted in rage.

Kouji looked up noticing that the prince was standing right in front of him and his dying boyfriend ready to protect them. Takato, don't do this! I'm not worth it! Kouji thought it's not ...

"... Worth it Takato!" The Knight said seeing the prince flinch.

"What are you talking about! Are you going to let your father get away with murder?" Takato asked with no change in his eyes.

"Why would that matter," Kouji muttered, "I never deserved him anyways ...."

Shit! T.K. thought, why didn't I since the D-reapers presence's before! I got to drive them away! He thought again hearing Takato tell Kouji to snap out of his depression. T.K. threw his staff in the air as it glowed. It glowed so bright and sounds could of shrieking could be heard.

Yamato was the first to notice the light and the fighting stopped when they heard shrieking from all around them. The light was so over whelming and the shrieking was so loud everything seamed to spin for everyone as they passed out one by one.

Juri's eyes widen in horror when the word D-reaper left T.K.'s lips. Ruki turned her head immediately when she hard her girlfriend whimper. She pulled her close saying that everything will be okay as anger flashed threw her beautiful violet eyes.

"But I thought they where sealed away a thousand years ago!"

"Apparently not!"

"Back it up!" Said Daisuke, "I thought the D-reapers where mythical creatures!"

"No they're not." Said Juri sounding very small.

"You've encountered one?" Sora asked as she nodded her head.

"That's enough! Come Juri-chan, you need to rest."

Sora was a little taken by Ruki's sudden harsh actions. Something horrible must've happened, she thought when she felt long slinder hands on shoulders. She turned to see her girlfriend (Mimi) smiling at her.

Takuya slowly opened his eyes feeling no more pain; feeling very safe and warm the only thing that didn't acre to him was that he was staring at the ceiling first. He turned his head to look into worried blue eyes. The slave sat up to see the whole gang standing around the bed. Kouji was the first to put his arms around him holding him close.

"I better check on Suzie." Lee said walking to the door.

"I'll come with you." Takato offered.

They both walked out down the hallway and opened the door. A slight breeze gently whistled as they entered the cold room stirring fear in Lee's heart. He and Takato ran to the balcony to see Suzie walking as if she was in trance toward what looked like a girl that had red hair yellow eyes cat shape and blue skin.

"Suzie, get away from her!"

"I ... I can't .... Lee help me!"

"That's right. You belong me. Come. Come."

"Suzie no!"

"Lee, look out!"

It was Ruki, armed with two daggers. The creature expression turned to pure anger and disgust.

"I'm surprised that you remember me." Ruki said.

"Stay out of this you slut!" She hissed.

"Look whose talking bitch."

The creature hissed jumped into the air howling like a cat, its longs nails heading right for Ruki's chest. Ruki moved out of the way; the creature gapped in horror when it saw a white arrow coming right for her. The creature disappeared and reappeared on the railing crouching.

"Who in the hell are you?" It asked seeing Sora running up, "no matter. I can destroy you all in one fail swoop!"

"Bring it on!"

"Ruki, she'll tare you apart!" Lee panicked.

"I can handle her! Now, get Suzie out of here!" Ruki ordered not keeping her eyes off the creature.

"Right!" Takato responded.
