(Taichi's POV)
Sora held on to me tight, crying softly. I heard Yamato softly whisper so that I could only hear, 'I'm sorry...' Soon, everything became dim, my senses faded, and so did I.
I opened my eyes. I was floating in a white void. "What happened?" I asked myself. My head no longer throbbed, and I felt energized.
"You are in the Realm of Light." A voice told me. Funny. It seemed familiar, in a way. "The exact opposite of the Realm of Darkness."
"Who are you? And can you please explain to me what happened?"
"Who I am is of no importance to you or anyone else at the moment. As to what happened, I can tell you this: Your life was ended too soon. The others will need you, and fast."
"But how will I be able to help them? I mean, I'm basically ready to get in line for a set of wings and a halo."
The voice gave a soft chuckle. "Do not worry, Taichi. It will all come together in the end. But for now, you must come with me."
I was confused. "Come with you? How? I mean, you're a disembodied voice!"
Another soft laugh filled the air. It was comforting, though, unlike the cold laughs of Mekananamon or MaloMyotismon. "Just walk, and I will guide you."
"All right, but I'm trusting you."
"Do not worry, I shall bring you no harm."
We, I guess I could say, walked around for about five minutes, when the voice spoke again.
"It is time to go back to your friends, Yagami Taichi."
"I haven't been gone for that long, have I?"
"Yes and no. The Realm of Light's time flow is faster than that of the DigiWorld's. A few minutes could be a few hours, a few hours a few days, and a few days a few weeks. This is the exact opposite of the Realm of Darkness. You could spend years of torment there, and only be gone a week of two in DigiWorld time."
"I get it now."
"Good, because now you must go. I have no control over where you will be, so be careful!"
I nodded. "...Wait... I'll be... Alive, right?" I asked, unsure.
"Yes, of course. And your wound will be healed. You will, however, feel terribly exhausted."
"Well, I guess that's okay."
"Good luck!"

More bright lights... I felt myself crumple to the cold ground. I shivered. 'What a masssive headache...' I thought. "I need a nap..." I stood up, my muscles hurt and tired. I saw a nearby door being pushed open. I readied myself for a run.
I heard a soft, faint gasp, and watched as a tall, slender figure rushed in.
"Yagami Taichi? Is... Is that you? Are you... Really alive?"
"Sora... Yeah, it's me, and I'm really alive." I said. She ran over and pulled me into a large hug. Then, she started to cry.
"Sora, what's wrong?"
"I thought I would never see you again..."
"Don't worry... I'm right here... And I'm not going to leave you again..."
She nodded, and let go.
"What happened, though? How did you get back? You... Died."
I nodded. "Yeah... Not a very pleasant experience, let me tell you... But, as for what happened, someone said that basically, my time wasn't up yet, so, I guess he brought me back..."
Sora hugged me again, crying softly. "I'm so happy you're back..."
I leaned my head against her. "Thanks, Sora."

(Yamato's POV)
I clenched my stomach, and moaned.
"Are you okay, Yamato?" Hikari asked, walking towards me.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I gasped. I felt more beads of sweat on my forehead. My stomach churned and bubbled. I moaned. "No... I'm not. I'm not all right."
"Jyou, isn't there something you can do?"
"I'm looking for some sort of antibiotic to hold off the poison, Hikari, but it's a little hard. Half of this stuff is written in some foreign language, and if I just grab something off the shelf, I could end up speeding the poison up." Jyou snapped.
"This is awful..." Nyaromon said.
"No kidding..." I answered tiredly. I looked around the room. "Hey, isn't that a door?" I asked, pointing.
Everyone looked up. "Yup, that's a door!" Bukamon said, floating in front of it.
Hikari helped me up and we walked towards it. "Should we open it?" She asked.
"Well, it'd be better than staying in this creepy place all day." Gabumon answered.
We nodded as Jyou opened the door.
Hikari gasped as she let go of me, running out of the room.
"Woah!" I yelled, falling forward.
"Hikari?" A voice asked. I gasped. No. No, this wasn't true. It couldn't be. I was right next to him when he died. It just wasn't possible that he could be ...alive...
"Taichi! Taichi, is that you? Is it really you?" Hikari asked.
He nodded. "Yeah, it's me."
I grunted and stood up. "Hey, Taichi. How are you doing?"
"Yamato! Hey, you look awful." He said.
"I'm going to remember that."
Taichi smiled. "Yeah. But you DO look pretty bad."
"He was ...poisoned... By Menanakanamon..."
"Uh... Who?" Taichi asked.
"Well, after we defeated MaloMyotismon, Menanakanamon came. She acted all nice, but she attacked Hikari, Yamato, and myself. And she poisoned Yamato with Pukumon and Fralamon poison... A deadly combination." Jyou explained. "We were trying to find an antidote when we found you guys. Sora, you and Taichi are in as much danger as Yamato. Menanakanamon has a strong dislike for you three. She was going to poison you, Sora, but there was only enough Fralamon poison for one person. And she didn't go after you, Taichi, because, well, you know." Jyou finished.
Sora looked pale. "Menanakanamon gave me a weird tasting tea... My stomach has been acting weird since."
I nodded. "The Pukumon poison. My 'tea' had the Fralamon poison in with it."
"Don't worry. We'll figure something out." Taichi said.
"Hm? Thanks..." I said, looking down at the ground.
"Okay, now that we're all together," Sora said. "Let's get out of here and warn the others."

(Menanakanamon's POV)
I sat in my chair, thinking. With the Chosen Children starting to separate, the Digital World would soon be left without any defenses. The Holder of Love would soon grow weak, and unable to fight. The Holder of Friendship was growing weaker with each passing minute, and as much as he pretended to be strong, he was fading fast. The power from the Sacred Crest was very dim, and would diminish totally within an hour.
And the Holder of Courage was... No! I looked at the orange sphere that represented the Sacred Crest of Courage, and saw that it was glowing brightly.
"How did this happen? How could the Holder of Courage come back? HOW?!" I growled. "I will not allow this to happen..." I walked away, searching for DarknessWizardmon. He would know exactly what to do. Finally, I found him.
"DarknessWizardmon! The Holder of Courage is alive! Explain this to me!"
"He is? Hmm... That IS a problem for you... I must look into this..." He said softly, running to his chambers.
"You'd better..." I hissed softly, heading back to my room. I looked at the spheres. An orange one, for the Sacred Crest of Courage. A red one, for the Sacred Crest of Love. A purple one, for the Crest of Knowledge. An apricot one, for the Crest of Truth. A brown one, for the Crest of Memory. A golden one, for the Crest of Trust. A blue one, for the Sacred Crest of Friendship. A pink one, for the Crest of Light. A green one, for the Crest of Sincerity. A yellow one, for the Crest of Hope. A gray one, for the Crest of Reliability, and a very pale purple one for the Crest of Kindness.
The sphere for the Sacred Crest of Friendship was flickering, a sign that it would soon go out. This, at least, was a comforting thought.
"At this rate... It should go out a lot sooner than an hour. Wonderful..." I said.
Looking out my window, I saw five of the Chosen Children, running towards the castle. My eyes narrowed, and I gave a soft growl. They were out of the tunnels, out of the dungeons... How? No matter... They would all fall before me...
I walked to the dining room, wondering how I could separate them once again. 'There is no other way... I will put an end to all of this now... And finish the job my brother and his underlings have started...'

(Daisuke's POV)
The food was wonderful, and everybody enjoyed it. I lay back in my chair, relaxing. The door slammed open, and in ran a very pale Yamato, Gabumon, Sora, Hikari, Nyaromon, Jyou, Bukamon, and... TAICHI?!
"Guys, we've got to get out of here fast! Come on, let's go!" Taichi yelled.
The door on the other end of the room slammed open as well. "Leaving so soon? I would have hoped you would stay a little longer. Oh, well." Menanakanamon snarled.
"What's going on?" DemiVeemon asked.
"I'm not sure..."
"Guys, we've got to get out of here now! Menanakanamon's NOT what she seems!" Hikari yelled.
"Well, if Hikari's against her, so am I! Come on guys!" I yelled, grabbing DemiVeemon. The others followed me.
"You're not going anywhere!" Menanakanamon growled. She spread her wings and flew, landing in front of us, her large yellow tail twitching angrily.
We stood there, waiting for someone to give the signal to attack, and she stood there, waiting for us to make the first move. It had all come down to this. The final battle that would determine the fate of the DigiWorld.
I looked to the others, searching for the signal. I heard Yamato give a groan and saw him crupmle to the ground, shivering. Menanakanamon laughed sinisterly.
Taichi gave a low growl, and nodded slightly. There it was. The signal we'd all been waiting for.

"Huh?" I asked, turning towards him.
A light but evil laugh filled the air. As the dust subsided, we could see who it was. "Fools! Look at me! Your attacks have not even left a scratch! You will fail."
