Chapter 4 continues from exactly where chapter 3 left off. It's my chapter again! This one kinda makes you think a little.

Chapter 4: Maybe Matt's a girl

"Mom won't need me, she always loved Mira best."

"You shouldn't feel like that Boo," Chase said. "Somebody always needs and loves you, no matter what."

Boo's face was now coated with tears and she jumped across the table and hugged Chase tightly, getting ketchup on her shirt. The others were shocked.

"They can never know. No one can," Chase thought as she sat alone in her room after school. "Maybe Boo can tell her secrets, but I can't. Never."

"Chase? Chase?! Earth to Chase!" Boo yelled.

"Wha-? Sorry. I was daydreaming."

"You've been doing that all day," TK informed her.

"Yeah. You seem so distant today," Kari added.

"I've just had a lot on my mind lately."

Chase excused herself and headed to the bathroom.

"What do you think is wrong with her?" Ken asked.

"I think I know," Boo suddenly said. "I'll be right back. Oh-does anybody know why she has those braces on her wrists today?" They all shook their heads. "Well, I guess I'm gonna find out." Boo left and the others continued eating.

Suddenly Boo came running back with a worried look on her face. "Where's Matt?" TK pointed towards the table where Matt was sitting with Tai and the rest of the band members. She ran over and dragged him out of his chair and out of the cafeteria. TK, Kari, Ken, and Tai followed her. She was about to pull Matt into the girls' bathroom when he stopped.

"I'm not going in the girls' bathroom!"

"Chase passed out and she needs to be carried to the nurses' office! Now come on!"

She pulled Matt into the girls' bathroom where Chase was lying unconscious on the floor.

"Are you okay?" Tai asked.

"Yeah. I'm lucky I didn't hit my head on the sink."

"Tell me why I had to carry her out of the girls' bathroom?!"

"Because," Boo said matter-of-factly, "you're older, and she fell on you before."

"You want me to take you home, Chase?"

"No, that's okay. I don't think I'm gonna pass out again."

"Why do you have those braces on your wrists?" Boo asked.

"Nunya," Chase replied in English, then climbed off the cot and walked out of the nurses' office.

"What'd she say?" TK asked.

"Nunya. As in `nunya business'."

"What's her problem?" Kari muttered.

Boo stared after Chase.

So? Review! I know it's short, but the chapters aren't gonna get much longer. Chapter 1 was long because it was the first chapter, and my friend likes to write a lot. I don't when it's a back-and-forth thing.
