Me: Were you going on forbidden sites again and Jen caught you?!

Terriermon: Vanessa-sama doesn't own Digimon Adventure 02 or Digimon Tamers. She also doesn't own Amryn or Alycia(as they are her real friends). She DOES own Merodi, herself, BlueRenamon, ect. She also doesn't own "Egao" by Wada Kouji.

Chapter 5
Caught in the middle! Takato tries to cure sadness!

Katou Juri sighed, looking out on Odaiba from Miyako's window.

"Katou-san?" Miyako came up behind her, brushing out her long lavendar hair. "Do you miss.... wherever you're from?"

Juri sighed. "You can call me Juri or Juri-chan, Miyako-san. I miss my brother and my otou-san, but I don't miss West Shinjuku overall. As long as I have Takato-kun, I'm fine. I'm thinking about my partner that died, Leomon...."

"How did he die?!" Miyako blurted out. She quickly covered her mouth. "Gomen ne, me and my big mouth"

Juri smiled. "It's okay Miyako-san. It's good to relieve something after a while. When we went to the digital world, our friend Impmon wanted to evolve. A deva named Chatsuramon made a deal with him. If Impmon wanted to defeat the Tamers, he would help him go to Ultimate. Impmon then evolved to Beelzebumon. He was power-hungry, deleating evrey digimon in sight. There was a great battle, and he killed my partner. My partner died protecting me. After that, I went into depression and then the events of the D-Reaper happened. If it wasn't for Takato-kun, I wouldn't be here" Miyako quickly caught on.

"Aha! You like Matsuda-san, don't you Juri-chan?!" Miyako squealed. Juri blushed deeply.

"He will never return my feelings. HE only thinks of me as a friend...."

Miyako held a finger to her face. "So? Tell him how you feel! You can still be friends, ne?"

"Who do you like? A certain Ichijouji Ken?" Juri turned the tables. It was Miyako's turn to blush.

"I.... I do....no- okay! I do! But all girls love him, he's smart, cute, funny, sexy.... oh my gosh! Did I actually say that!? Well, he probably thinks me as nothing more" Juri held her finger to Miyako's face.

"So? Tell him how you feel! You can still be friends, ne?" Juri repeated. Miyako frowned. "You used it on me, so now I'm using it on you!" Miyako yawned.

"Welp, I'm going to bed. Just get me if you need anything, Oyasumi"

"Oyasuminesai, Miyako-san" Miyako closed the door behind her. Juri sighed and looked out the window.

'IF the D-Reaper DID return....will I go through the same things that happened?' Tears fell from her eyes. She cried herself to sleep without making any noise.

"Konnichiwa Katou-san!" Takato greeted Juri. They were in the park... alone. Juri gave him a smile, but it was a sweet, sad smile.

"Konnichiwa, Takato-kun"

The smile shown that day was heart-breaking somehow

Takato immeadiently noticed something was wrong. After all, they were best friends....right? "Katou-san, what's wrong?"

Juri cursed herself. Takato saw through her disguise. She gave him another smile. "It's nothing Takato-kun. Nothing as bad as the D-reaper, ne?"

Takato looked in her amber eyes. "You know you always have me, ne Juri-chan?" Juri blushed at the way he looked and talked to her. He also used her first name with '-chan' too!

"U...un" Juri didn't know how she felt. A part of her wanted to break away from his gaze to avoid further embarresment, but the other part wanted to stay there.

"Would you like me to treat you?" Takato asked after a bit. Juri nodded. There was an ice cream stand near where they stood. They quickly reached the ice cream stand.

"What can I do for you kids?" asked the ice cream man.

"I'll have a double scoop of chocolate mint and a single scoop of cookies and cream" Takato ordered. Juri blushed. Takato bought her favorite ice cream flavor, chocolate mint, double scoop! She was about to protest, but saw Takato already paying for the ice cream. "Arigouto" Takato gave the chocolate mint to Juri. There was a bench nearby and Takato took her over there to eat the ice cream.

"Takato-kun, you didn't have to...." Juri said, not touching her ice cream.

"It's my treat Katou-san" Takato replied.

'Dang, he went back to 'Katou-san'' Juri thought. She started eating her ice cream politely.

"Katou-san, are you worried?" The question came up unexpectadly. "About... you know.... the D...."

Juri, who just finished her ice cream, looked down at her lap. "What if he comes back Takato-kun? What if the D-Reaper comes back and causes as much sorrow as it did?!" Tears gathered in her eyes. She shut her eyes tight. "I don't want that!" Takato put his hand on her hand.

"Daijoubou, Katou-san. I will never ever let the D-Reaper lay a finger on you.... if it had any. Evan if it means dieing, I'll protect you!" Juri looked at him with wide eyes. "And that's a promise Katou-san..." Tears spilled down her face.

"Takato-kun..." She soon found herself crying on his shoulder.

For the first time it was noticed they'd stopped being kind

"It's okay Katou-san, I'm here for you..."

Without them knowing, there was talking in the bushes. Some cerain tamers were there....

"I wish Ruki would fall for me like that!" Hirokazu complained.

"You know you don't have a chance with her, Hirokazu!" Kenta protested.

"Ruki wouldn't go after an immature kid like you! She'd go out with someone mature enough for her!" A certain fourteen year-old came in. Hirokazu glared at Ryou.

"She hates your guts, Ryou-san"

"She hates yours more then mine!" The fourteen year old boy snapped back.

"Boo" someone whispered. The boys litterly shrieked. Juri or Takato didn't here it, fortunatley for them. They heard heard somone laughing hard behind them. Ruki. "Are you guys scardy cats or something?"

"You caught us by surprise!" Kenta said.

"I also heard you three saying my name...." Ruki cocked her eyebrow. "Is there something going on I don't know about?"

"Hirokazu and Ryou-san were arguing about who was 'mature' enough for you" Ruki smirked.

"Oh really? I geuss they don't have enough common sense to know that I hate their guts, both of them equally" Ryou got up and leaned torwards Ruki.

"You have to admit, they ARE immature little kids" Ryou whispered. A vein popped up on Ruki's head.

"Like you're better" she said shoving him onto the ground.

"Do YOU like anyone?" Hirokazu asked.

"Geuss you have no common sense at all. It's obvious that the only boys I'm evan KIND to are the Chosen Children (except Daisuke), Takato, and Jen. I have no feelings for them what-so-ever" Evan after what happened a few days ago, Ruki got her attitude back.

"If you're nice to Takato or Jen I'm sure you have SOME sort of feelings torwards them, Ruki-san" Ruki turned around and saw Vanessa leaning against a tree.

"Since when did this become a rally point?!" Ruki said sarcastically.

"I was gonna tell them to stop spying on Takato-kun and Juri-chan, but I wanted to see what they were talking about" Vanessa said refering to the three boys. She smirked. "I geuss Akiyama-kun has a big crush on you, Ruki-san"

"No duh Vanessa!" Ruki replied. "Takato and Jen were the people who started making me realize about friendship me up before you came" A vein popped up on Ryou's head.

"Didn't I help?"

"Akiyama no baka" Ruki replied. "If you excuse me, I'd rather be doing other stuff then stay here and watch a sappy scene. Especially with you three" She walked away.

Vanessa grabbed Ryou, Hirokazu, and Kenta's shirt collars. "That's enough spying on Takato-kun and Juri-chan" They started protestng, but Vanessa had a firm grip on them.

"Arigouto, Takato-kun" Juri thanked after she was done crying.

"No need to thank me Katou-san! I'm always here for you" Juri smiled. Even if she just smiled it made Takato blush. "Now let's go see evreyone el-"

"Jamming Hertz!"

"Katou-san!" Takato got Juri out of the way before the attack could hit. Juri looked up and saw a weird creature floating. Her eyes widend.

"No.... ADR(Agent D-Reaper) 02..... They can't be back!" Juri's breath shuttered.

The smile shown that day was heart-breaking somehow

"Buzzing of the Prison Gate Butterfly!" The attack hit Juri and Takato.

"Stop it!" Juri and Takato turned around and saw Rei. "How'd you get through?! You're not supposed to be created yet!" she demanded. Galaxiamon jumped out.

"Need a piece of me? You got it!" A weird digivice glowed from Rei's hands. It was like a mix between a D-Arc and D-3. It was shaped like a D-Arc, but the slot went upwards like the thing on top of the D-3. The Digivice was all silver save for a gold star on top of the blade.

"Galaxiamon evolve!" The cat became more human, her legs growing out and arms. An outfit like Angewomon's appeared, but it was gold and silver instead of pink and white. A helmet went over her head and silver hair spread out form it. Angel like wings appeared, but they were silver too. "Solarmon!"

Takato took out his D-Arc. "Solarmon: Data. A perfection. Her attacks are Solar Sun and Heaven's Wrath"

"Solar Sun!" The attack hit dead on, but it barely shwoed any signs of being touched!

"Like that worked! Buzzing of the Prison Gate Butterfly!"The attack hit Solarmon back.

"Heaven's Wrath!" The attack actually caused damage this time. Rei started getting scared.

'Oh no.... he's stronger then I thought!'

"Crest Beam!" The attack hit ADR 02. Vanessa and MetalSuicunamon ran up. "Looks like you need help, Rei-chan"

"Card Slash! Strength Plug-In O!"

"Crest Beam!" The attack immeadiently deleated ADR 02.

Juri was shaking all over. An ADR appeared.... what if ADR 01 appeared? She couldn't bare it. What she feared was coming true... The D-Reaper is back. But that one was stronger, did the D-Reaper get stronger too?

When I met you that time, it was in a dream

In dreams and reality it continued to prowl

"Katou-san, we should go back" Juri nodded and they quickly left the scene.

"An ADR appeared?!" Ruki demanded. Juri nodded silently. "That confirms that the D-Reaper is back, but can only send it's ADR's
out"

"ADR? You guys didn't tell evreything about the D-Reaper, did you?" Merodi demanded. Ruki sighed.

"Here we go again. The D-Reaper isn't really one thing, it's split up into Agent D-Reapers. There are nine ADR's, one Shinigami Reaper, and the Mother Reaper. The Juri clone was ADR 01" Ruki explained.

"That makes things ALOT more complicated!" Merodi complained. Ruki sweatdropped.

"I thought you were the princess of the digital world...."

"This is all new to me you know!" Merodi protested. She paused. "When I first heard of the D-Reaper, I thought the D meant Devil, you know, like Devil-Reaper"

"It's a possibility" Takato agreed. "We just knew it as the D-Reaper"

Jenrya's mind was working a mile a minute. 'If the 'D' DID stand for Devil, D-Reaper, Devil-Reaper, Devilmon.... Don't tell me!' Jenrya groaned silently. 'If my theory is correct....'

Juri looked down at her digivice, with a small smile. "Leomon.... if you can hear me, I want to say that I know I'm not alone. Takato-kun is by my side and that's enough for me...

Miyako: Next time!

Hikari: The ball is coming up....

Miyako: Mimi-san?! Anou... could you help me with this.....

Hikari: Great! A digimon has appeared!
