OK, THAT'S IT! Enough emotional shizzely, TIME FOR SOME MORE ACTION, THIS STORY'S GETTING UNEVENTFUL! Now, hopefully this chapter will spice things up! ^-^!

Chapter Eight - Hybrid

          &nb sp; Davis walked in the door, on his face was a small growing 5 o'clock shadow. He had just dropped Andrew off at Jun's for the afternoon, he wanted to get a little rest, since he had cheated on his terms he made with the doctor, training with Sarimon. He sat down on the couch, he put his face in his hands and sighed, then he looked through his fingers and saw the calendar. "Awwwww SHIT!" one of the days was circled in red and read First Game, "fouuuur days?!?! Come on!" He sighed again and laid down on the couch.

          &nb sp; He must've fallen asleep because when he woke up and looked around, it was now dark, hours after he'd taken Andy to Jun's. "I'll call in a minute and see if he can spend the night there." Davis looked around, stretched, and yawned. As he popped his neck something caught his gaze, out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a light blinking, it was his D-Terminal. He walked over to it and picked it up to see the words 17 new messages, "WHAT THE HELL!!" He checked it quickly, worried if it was something to do with Andy, the e-mail every time was Yolie's they were all in the last 15 minutes. He was about to look through one of the messages until his cell went off across the room, he quickly got to it, saw the name Yolie and answered.

"Yolie?!"

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN, I CAN'T GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE!!!"

"What? Where are you?!"

"I'm at the beach, getting my ass whooped by a Seraphimon look-alike!!"

"Wha…Nevermind, I'll be there in five with help," Davis sprinted to his computer to get his digivice, then a loud noise came out of the phone "what the fu, Yolie?!"

"aahhh." The scream was distant, the phone had been knocked away.

"Yolie!! Yolie!!. DAMN!"

         &nb sp;  Davis grabbed his keys and ran at full speed out the door, taking the stairs he ran at full speed, jumping and skipping sets of steps until he reached the garage. Busting through the door, he sprinted toward his car, unlocking and starting the GTO with the remote. He opened and slammed the door shut, putting the key in the ignition and putting it into gear. The tires squealed as he sped the car out of the parking spot and quickly to the gate. He honked before he got to it, the gate person saw he was in a hurry and quickly opened it. Davis swung the car into a drift and entered the traffic. Again he shifted with his left hand quickly and sped up more.

            He had only been able to send 3 messages before he had gotten into the garage earlier and he was going too fast to do anything now. He just hoped that Tai, Tk, and Ken got the messages.

            He avoided another car as he got ready to turn. The turn was closing in, when he knew it was right, he hit the brakes, shifted down, then while turn hit both the gas and brake, putting the car into a perfect slide right into the lane he wanted, hardly losing any speed. Pushing the gas to the max he shifted again, the turbo was loudly heard as the transmission shifted. His engine roared, he didn't really care if the police tried to get him, his friend was in trouble, he wouldn't let anything stop him.

          &nb sp; Doing another turn like before, Davis came onto the last street, at the end he could see the water, this just increased his drive to get there before something bad happened. People on the sidewalks could hear the engine before they even saw the car. With the beach in his sight, he pulled out his digivice and pointed at the computer on his left dashboard, out came v-mon. "Davis? What's going on?" He asked seeing the car's speed and Davis' serious face. "A friend's in trouble." That's all he needed, "I'm ready."

            Davis pressed a button on his digivice, The bright light shone on the road brightly as it began. V-MON Hybrid Evolve to….. The changes began, he grew taller, losing his tail and his horns in the process, his light blue color began growing darker. The outside world moved in slow motion as his feet grew, pants and a shirt became visible, and his bright white eyes were seen. The evolution was almost complete, only one part left. The light got brighter as it neared the end, when the light vanished, only one being was there. Yashamon X-Hybrid. It was tall, with pure white eyes, and wore a jet black chest-plate instead of a shirt, red pants, he had dark blue skin, and carried two swords, on his back now, instead of at his side. A dark jet black face-plate covered his face and head.

          &nb sp; YashamonX still apparently knew how to drive, slamming the brakes and handbrake the car slide to it's side and came to a stop right at the beach, he saw a dark glow, like a black-light, a few thousand feet down the stretch of beach. He slammed the gas as the tires squealed. He slalomed the car into the sand as soon as he was near, he did the same as before, shifting down, slamming the brakes and putting the handbrake on. Busting through the door as the look-alike punched Aquilamon to the ground and reverted him to Hawkmon, he was about to finish the move, until he heard two in sync voices yell, "LIGHTENING BLADE!!" The small figure was up in the air, sword drawn with electricity crack all around it. The dark colored Seraphimon look-alike had no chance to react before he was sent flying into the water.

          &nb sp; The hybrid held his free hand out to the unconscious Hawkmon, a red glow surrounded him as he awoke, "HAWKMON ARMOR MEGA EVOLVE TO……..ALLOMON!!" The new digimon stood as tall as a 3 story building, he was dark blue with red scar-like stripes all over. He had dark red hair, along with a large orange and red strand on each side, and a red and white big feather occupying his head. He roared as he joined the fight as the newly made Armor Mega.

            Yolie had just woken up , she'd been knocked to the corner, when she saw the intense fight happening she didn't recognize any of them except the imposter, which wasn't a good thing. She looked to the dinosaur looking digimon, then she knew, not how, but she knew that was Hawkmon. But no matter how much she tried, she could not figure out who the other digimon fighting was.

"LIGHTNING BLADE!!"

"DEVIL'S SWORD!" The imposter blocked the attack as the two went at it with swords.

The other digimon had a glow in his mouth when yolie looked, "VOLCANIC BURST!" The attack shot toward the imposter's left side, it had almost reached him, when as he was still fighting YashamonX, held up his left hand.

"TWELVE GATES!!" Suddenly as the attack got close, a bunch of large gates swallowing the attack in the process.

"WHAT?" YashamonX was temporarily distracted for a second as he saw the attack be swallowed, wrong move. The dark colored imposter saw the opening and smiled as he attacked at the right moment. Yashamon couldn't block, he was slammed to the ground and dazed.  The fight continued as Yashamon rolled out of the way of the oncoming foot just in time.

          &nb sp; Yolie yelped, thinking he was still there, until she saw him floating above the imposter, arms raised, swords in both hands. "BLOOD CUTTER!!" He yelled as he swung the swords in a scissor type motion, two blood colored blasts coming from each. They struck as a blast of sand coved the area on the gound.

            Three random blasts flew out of the cloud of sand and dirt. Two went harmlessly into the water, the other hit the building right above Yolie, creating a collapse. Yashamon and Allomon both saw, Allomon was too far, he blasted toward Yolie as she cringed waiting to feel the cement, she opened one eye and looked around to see she was still alive and above her was Yashamon. She stood kinda shocked.

"This is kinda heavy, so could you kinda hurry up." Yolie recognized the voice, or rather voices. "Davis, V-mon? Err, wait."

"YOLIE!" She snapped out of it and moved out of the way to a safer place.

"Allomon! We have to finish this; it's too dangerous, we were just lucky that time."

"Right but how." He yelled as he avoided another blast.

"QUIT WIMPERING AND FIGHT ME!!" The imposter roared in annoyance from being ignored.

"I know a way, but it'll kill him." Yashamon said quietly as the two past still avoiding the attacks and blasts.

"Do we have a choice?"

"Not if we want to keep the of people safe."

"Alright just get him to stay near the unoccupied water and get the hell out of there when I tell you."

"Ok, just be careful, he's smart."

"You, too."

         &nb sp;  Allomon charged the rip-off Seraphimon, clawing, biting, etc, all went on while YashamonX landed on the ground. He gather power as electricity sparked around him. The black face-plate on Yashamon dropped as his eyes began to turn from white to light yellow to dark orange. His arms went limp as his chest plate opened, "NOW!!!!!!" Allomon immediately called off his putsuit and retreated to a safe place as the imposter slowly realized the trap. The cannon on YashamonX's chest was already fully charged with a red glow, it was too late.

          &nb sp; Tai, Tk, and Matt ran up just as Yashamon yelled now. They were at first in awe that there was not only another Seraphimon, but also that it was a corrupted virus one. He looked exactly the same as Patamon's final form, only his wings, helmet, armor, and swords were all black. Suddenly their attention was drawn to the dark blue being whose chest was glowing. "Who is that?" Tai asked to no one, "I don't know, but he looks to be on our side." Matt said. "I sure hope so," Gabumon said.

"If you leave now you may still live." YashamonX said.

"Ha, NEVER." He prepared to charge Yashamon, he didn't have time to flinch.

"DEATH CANNON!" The well charges beam fired, the imposter screamed, "AHHHHH, MY DEATH MATTERS NOT, YOURS WILL COME SOON!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!" The data particals burst and were absorbed by the computer held by Yolie.

"Everyone alright." Yashamon asked, everyone answered or nodded. "Good." A bright light shone as most of the chosen covered their eyes. In the light soon the single figure became two separate figures. After the light died down all but Yolie's mouth dropped. There standing in front of them was Davis and V-mon.

"Davis?!" Tk asked astonished.

Davis gave him a weak, arrogant smile, "told you I could whoop ass." He barely finished before he dropped to his knees, then fell straight forward.

"Davis!" Yolie yelled.

"Don't worry, he's just resting, To be in that form alone is almost too much stress on him, that last attack was pretty much a bluff, the imposter was just weak. That's why we used it, that attack at full power could level all of Tokyo, so to just use a bit would drain all his energy." V-mon said.

"That was a mouthful." Tai joked as he and Matt picked him up and laid him down in one of the back-seats of Matt's Suburban. Tk and Yolie followed in the GTO behind them.
