#1104 PINK WEDDING

STORY:

From the author that brought you such (Not so) memorable classics "Sincere Hope," and "Prom Fight," comes another Takimi, "Pink Wedding." Thankfully, this is in another universe, so it's not a sequel.

Just before the big event, we go to a dark lair and see three people watching a bride trying on a wedding dress. You can already guess who they are by the fact that they act bitchy, whiney, nutty, and a whole lot of other "ey" sounds. We then go to a church where the groom himself, TK, is having a difficult time getting his tie on. He then gets help from Davis and the Fab Five. That's right, EVERY Gundam Wing pilot is there. Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre and Wufei. All of them are there to see TK wave bye-bye to his freedom.

After eventually getting the tie of doom on TK, we cue to Mimi and Sora talking. The good news is that we find out that Sora and Tai are married. The bad news, we get to hear every single detail on how good TK was in bed. Then comes the wedding it self. We get treated to how all the DD's feel at the moment. Tai is angry that Kari refused the invite (Refused being an understatement), Joe and Izzy are mad that they didn't get to score with the cheerleader (You ain't the only ones guys), and TK is thinking: "We were all close once. What happened?" The answer is your bride. As soon as Mimi gets up to the alter, the priest begins and gets to the "Any objections" part. This is where the predictability factor kicks in as, low and behold, someone yells "I OBJECT!" We see who yelled object was Matt (The winner), along with Kari (The bitch) and Ken (The nut). Matt and Kari say they're there to stop TK from marring a slut. Funny, I thought he was marring Mimi, not Jun or Yolei. As for why Ken's there, he wants to marry Mimi and says he's been in love with her for a long time. As an announcer would say "It's a pop fly out of left field." To make matters worse for both the characters and the readers, the three use their Digimon to stop the wedding. Oh yeah, real brave. Using Digimon to stop a human wedding. People, don't you feel safe that these three stooges are a part of a group that's supposed to defend the world? We are also introduced to a dark version of Angewomon called Archangewomon. TK then notices that the three Digimon are being controlled by dark spirals, and the three DD's are being controlled by dark rings, yet there are no spires present. Just when we think things couldn't get anymore confusing (Or stupid), Wufei suddenly pulls out a Digivice and a green Agumon rip off comes out. I won't bore you with the details of the fight, because if one side wins, TK will marry Mimi and if the other wins, Ken will marry Mimi, and ether way, we'll loose. Well, as it turns out, the good Digimon wins, and just before Heero does the smart thing and kill every one, Quatre stops him and tells him about the dark rings and starts tackling Matt to remove the rings. The rest of the characters follow suit and the three DD's and their Digimon are back to normal. We then find out that they were under the control of the rings for two years, and nobody even noticed. I think the DD's need glasses and Joe and Yolie need new prescriptions. We then find out who made Ken want to marry Mimi… Piedmon and Puppetmon. How thy returned, we don't know. Why they want Ken to marry Mimi, we don't want to know. Then, they DNA Digivolve (Must have learned that in the afterlife) to Stringmon. Then, every good Digimon there combined to form what I call Onebigmessmon and defeats Stringmon. Then, the wedding goes as plan, and TK and Mimi leave on their honeymoon. The only upshot is that it ends before it turns NC-17.

SEGMENTS:

SEGMENT ONE: A comparison of two WWF characters who are as dumb as Prom Fight's Matt and Kari. I know it's pointless, but everything they do on the SOL almost has no point.

SEGMENT TWO: If the DD's can have the Gundam Wing pilots at there wedding, then we can have the Sailor Scouts be the enforcers.

SEGMENT THREE: The SOL'S version of Entertainment Tonight, only with smarter people. With three exceptions.

SEGMENT FOUR: Pointing out errors.

REFLECTIONS:

"Werewolf" and "Pink Wedding." When ever I think of MST3K, I flashback to "Werewolf." Why? It was THE worst interpretation of the werewolf genre you can imagine. It was about a power mad archeologist using werewolf remains to turn people into werewolves to rule the world. Yes, you read right. When I think of MiSTings, I think of "Pink Wedding." Why? Because even though it was good romance wise, general wise, it had some of THE worst continuum errors I have ever seen. How did the Dark Masters come back? Why did they want Ken to marry Mimi? How the hell did they learn to DNA Digivolve when they died before it was even a concept? Nobody knows. Maybe we should get "Unsolved Mysteries" on the case.

As for the last host segment, it was inspired/ripped off from an actual MST3K episode called "Cave Dwellers," witch had as many continuum errors as Pink Wedding.
